Cannot put into words how thankful we are to have worked with Grace and Ben. They are truly incredible photographers and human beings. Not only did they produce the most beautiful photos and video for us, they helped every single family member and friend feel comfortable in front of the camera, adjusted their timeline to our changing needs, answered our endless questions, coordinated seamlessly with the rest of our wedding vendors, and truly felt like our friends right away! We had so much fun and were able to focus on the day and not worry about a thing because of them. They were extremely thoughtful, responsive, clear, and overall so easy to work with. We last minute decided to add additional nights to include our welcome party and rehearsal dinner and are SO glad we did - they're some of our favorite photos of the weekend. I would recommend them so highly to anyone getting married again and again. Thank you Grace & Ben! -

I have known Grace and Ben for about 6 years now, as I'm a wedding vendor! I own Autumn Nomad and have worked with them with not only real weddings, but tons of photoshoots over the years.
One of the absolute best decisions I've ever made was hiring them for our wedding. I've never hired a videographer for anything. Not only did they make you feel so comfortable and not in your face at all, but they're extremely professional and timely. They very much take their job seriously and it shows.
I spoke with Grace the most in the planning stages and she always had so much insight that helped the day flow perfectly.
Once we received our video, I'll tell you - we both could not stop crying. They captured things I didn't even realize happened. Like from all angles of the day. They didn't miss anything. We had the opportunity to relive the day and it was unreal. Absolutely you need to hire video. It's worth the price and you'll have that video footage and hearing speeches and your vows and everything else, forever.
I adore them so much and couldn't recommend them any higher. -

I’m the mother of the bride who didn’t know what to expect. We were blown away by the video created. It was just perfect. Very professional, caught every moment. They create a video that leaves me smiling and reminiscing. I’m a New Yorker and often hard to please. If you are looking for a videographer…. Novae is simply the best. -

Where to begin?! A videographer was not even on our list of vendors to hire when we started the planning process. After receiving a recommendation to check out Novae, I promptly went to Instagram and proceeded to cry watching Novae’s highlight videos of other people’s weddings. Grace & Ben capture emotion so beautifully and are absolute experts at what they do. Not only that, but they are both genuine and kind humans which isn’t always easy to find. Adding them to our vendor list very quickly became not just a want, but a need.
We had two years of communication before our wedding day finally arrived and every single time we spoke whether it be via email, phone or text, it was always so easy, enjoyable and stress-free. Grace was my saving grace (pun intended) throughout the pandemic and our postponement. She was so much more than just one of our wedding vendors but became a friend that genuinely cared about us. She provided a listening ear, advice, love, laughs, patience and understanding. In those two years, she was so supportive throughout not just wedding related endeavors, but throughout our own personal journey of back-to-back-to-back losses. Grace’s middle name should be empathy. By the time we finally met in person, it felt like I had already known her for way more than two years.
So many of our guests commented on how hard both Grace & Ben were working on our wedding day. They said they noticed they were everywhere, while simultaneously blending in and being completely in the background - AKA true professionals. They also make you feel so comfortable being on the other side of the lens.
Weddings are an investment and finding someone to capture those memories that can stay with you for a lifetime is absolutely an investment worth making – especially if you choose to work with Novae. I’ve always said Grace & Ben create magic, and it felt so surreal to be on the receiving end of that when our final videos were delivered. I now cry every time I watch our own Novae videos of our own wedding. They captured every emotion and moment so perfectly and watching them truly transports us back in time to the best day of our lives. The joy and love were tangible and getting an opportunity to relive those moments every time we watch our videos is truly a blessing that we cannot wait to share with our future children. And to think, we almost lost out on that had we not included videography in our budget. Ultimately, choosing Grace & Ben as our videographers was without a doubt THE best decision we could have ever made for our wedding day. We are eternally grateful and cannot recommend them enough!! -

Amazing people with amazing product!
Grace and Ben were wonderful! They are super fun to work with, made us feel comfortable, and we love our wedding pictures and video!
From the beginning, they were very responsive, they helped us choose a location to do our engagement shoot, and even with covid putting a wrench in the initial plans, they helped us find a backup location with wonderful views! My partner initially hated the idea of photos, but they made him so comfortable, he even admitted to having fun on the engagement shoot day!
The day of the wedding, Grace got all of the photos organized, helped me get my family together, and even politely, and firmly, managed a specific family member, who certainly needed it!
Ben got wonderful shots with his video camera, was very polite and respectful of the girls getting ready in the am, and he got amazing views with his drone!
I am so glad we did a first look, because it happened to rain our entire ceremony! Grace and Ben were awesome when it came to switching up the family photo plan because of the rain. We had to switch our remaining photos to indoors, and when things started to go south, as we were unable to gather/locate all family members, she could tell I was getting frustrated. We decided to call it quits with the current photo situation, and she let my husband and I go eat. She also knew it was important to me to get one large family photo, so when the rain stopped, she pulled everyone out doors for the photo, and only pulled us away from dinner when everyone else was set up for the pic! That was huge! Despite the rain, the photos and videos turned out amazing!
Ben was able to incorporate all of our ceremony and everyone's speeches into the full length video, which was so fun to watch months later too!
Highly recommend these two! -

Grace and Ben were HANDS DOWN the best business we hired for our wedding day. They were discrete yet with us every step of the way! Organized and hardworking are understatements as they worked their TAILS off to help keep us comfortable, relaxed, and "flowing" through all the stages of the day. On top of their incredible professionalism, they are wonderful human beings that are personable and so easy to work with. Grace is hilarious and Ben is just the sweetest thing. If you're wedding film/photography is a priority for you, drop your stuff and book them while you can. We are planning to shoot with them again in the future even though we live a few states away. Thank you Grace and Ben!

I could not recommend going with Novae enough. Grace and Ben are truly the nicest people and they are so incredibly easy to work with. Grace was very responsive on the days leading up to our wedding, and she and Ben were so thoughtful about capturing the true essence of our day. Having our wedding highlight and ceremony captured has to be the most special memory we have of our big day! -

Life Changing
Ben & Grace are literal artistic geniuses! We were told in the beginning of the process having a wedding video is one of the best investments because you usually forget or don’t get to see all the moments of your day. So we had no hesitation making the investment with Ben & Grace! It’s actually a family tradition at this point as we are the third in the family to go through them for our wedding photos/video. They are really just becoming part of our family at this point.
We got to know them best on our engagement shoot, they got a feel for us and we got a feel for them and how they works all just got really comfortable with each other, so we highly recommend utilizing them for that as well!

We also highly recommend hiring them for photos and video. Because these two are so in sync with each other you have a seamless video! I’ve seen people hire separate photographers and videographers and they are in each others shots and usually one ruins a capturable moment for the other, we did not have this issue with Ben & Grace.
Grace is also like a wealth of knowledge if you need suggestions for anything! Thankful for her for telling us about our wedding venue after Covid forced us to cancel our big wedding.
Honestly they are a dream team and worth the investment! Promise!

Grace and Ben were absolutely amazing through out the shoot. We had a winter wedding and they captured all the winter wonderland beauty in all its glory. They knew what to do for every shot, and were even crawling in the snow for the perfect shot.
My husband and I don’t feel very comfortable in front of the camera but Grace and Ben walked us through everything and directed us. We were stress free and comfortable.
The edited pictures arrived In the timeframe it was promised. We highly recommend Novae Film and Photo. You won’t regret it. -

We were beyond thrilled with Grace and Ben’s work! Our wedding film turned out to be an absolute dream and I will cherish the footage for the rest of my life. They were a pleasure to work with (excellent communication, speedy turn around creating the film, as well as just being overall lovely people to connect with on our big day) and we were so happy to share our wedding with them. They were professional as well as approachable which is a rare combination to find. Grace and Ben were SO awesome to work with. I think Grace was more excited about my wedding details than I was haha! They were very easy to communicate with and were overly generous with their time. Grace + Ben are true gems. They love hard and give so much time for those minor details that make such a big impact in the overall production. My wife + I are not the most overly PDA kind of people. We are super weird but love that about us. They didn't force us to be something we are not. They didn't rush anything. They understood what was important to us. We hired them because they have such great personalities that balance one another out. Grace is super amazing in completely different areas than Ben and vise versa. My wife loved them because they made things simple and made her feel dapper AF. Hire them. Pronto. Especially if you want something unique. -

Where to even begin? If we could give more than 5 stars we would. The amazing partnership of Grace and Ben that makes up Novae Film and Photo is absolutely top notch. During our wedding planning, we went back and forth trying to decide if we could afford video into our budget. After talking and working with Grace, it was a no brainer. And after watching a bunch of stranger’s videos on their website that they had already done and bawling our eyes out, we knew there was no body else we wanted to do so. From the beginning, they were extremely thorough and reliable. They always responded to my countless emails in the most pleasant ways. We started with engagement photos. We had never had professional photos done before but that was no issue with them. They made us feel extremely comfortable and guided us the entire time. Our engagement photos were SO BEAUTIFUL and got us so much more excited for our big day. Leading up to our wedding, Grace made sure we were on the same page with everything so that I (the bride) did not have to stress at all. There were some special moments I wanted captured and they made it top priority. On the day of the wedding, Grace, Ben, and their assistant they brought were WONDERFUL. And let me just tell you, the final products blew our minds. When I watch our wedding highlight video I still cannot believe its us! The quality of the film & photos are unreal. The song choice, the audio clips, the intimate moments, ALL OF IT was documented so perfectly in the film. I get the feels all over again watching it. Friends, family, and so many others have reached out to tell us how emotional it made them feel. The video truly did exceed our expectations. Also, when it comes to the photos they truly got it all. The colors and quality of the photos are absolutely stunning. Its almost impossible to pick our favorites to hang on our walls because there are just TOO MANY that are perfection.
All in all, if you’re looking for a business that can do both film & photo FLAWLESSLY then look no further. SERIOUSLY. Grace and Ben are beautiful souls who will work their butts off for you and deliver the highest quality you could ever ask for. We love them and would choose them over and over again. -

Amazing - a MUST hire!
We were absolutely in LOVE with Grace and Ben. From the moment we met them, I knew they were going to make our dreams come true. They were both beyond amazing to work with and I can’t stress that enough. These are not your standard wedding videographers…We were blown away by our wedding video they created. Tears, laughter and everything in between. They seamlessly captured all of MAGIC on our wedding day. Their expertise in cinematography and video productive shined thru in their work. Speechless - Grace and Ben do an incredible job and do not disappoint! They seamlessly fold into your day like they are family, but leave as so much more. When you finally receive that video you've been dreaming about, be prepared for it to exceed your expectations. It left my husband and I speechless and sobbing. They didn't just capture our day, they captured the emotions, and allowed us to relive the moments like we were right back there highlighted it by how they piece the shots together and the music they choose. They are one of a kind and absolutely worth every single penny you give them. We are forever grateful to them for the lifelong gift they've given us that we'll cherish forever! I booked Grace and Ben as the videographers for my wedding this summer, and I highly recommend them. They were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. Grace was very quick to respond to emails and helped me figure out some of the logistics of the wedding day, such as when and where to have our first look. It rained most of the day leading up to our wedding but Grace and Ben made it work and were still able to get beautiful footage of us outside during our picture time before the ceremony. Our wedding video turned out better than I could’ve ever imagined. It perfectly captured the feeling of our wedding day. We had so much fun with our friends and family and every time I watch the video I feel like I’m reliving the day. I seriously can’t stop watching it—I’ve rewatched it at least 10 times since we got it last week. Grace and Ben, thank you SO MUCH for your amazing work!!! -

It's taken me over a year now to write a review because I was afraid I would never be able to find the right words to correctly portray how wonderful our experience was and I still don’t think I can fully capture how I felt about our experience, but I will do my best!
Our wedding was on September 16, 2017 and we used Novae Film and Photo for their wedding film services. The process before the wedding was simple and enjoyable. I had a couple of phone conversations with Grace so she could get a feel for what my husband and I were like as a couple and to also understand better what we were looking for in terms of final product.
On the day of the wedding I was really nervous about being filmed, especially during the ceremony, but I was immediately put at ease when I met both Grace and Ben. The process was so effortless (or so they made it seem!) I trusted I would be more than happy with the final result. Throughout the day, both Grace and Ben were super discreet and the interactions we did have with them directly were so much fun!
After the wedding, I was kept updated with the process quite frequently. Our 1-minute teaser was BREATHTAKING! I was SO pleased with the footage and the music. Next we received our 10-minute highlight video. Again, we this video exceeded any expectations we ever had. When we received our full-length film, I was in awe. This video was perfect in every way: the quality, the editing, the music, the footage, the feeling the film evokes, EVERYTHING.
Without our wedding film, I am certain so many details of our special day would have been forgotten forever and we are both so thankful so many special moments are forever available to us for the rest of our lives. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Grace and Ben, and we hope we get the pleasure of working with them again in the future!

I have rewatched our video countless times and cried and laughed each and every single time. Grace and Ben were there from the conception of what we wanted as a vision for that day to the start and finish of our big day. Grace made sure I looked picture perfect, literally wiping the sweat away to catch the right photo. Ben followed my handsome groom all day to catch the little tidbits otherwise lost. We hired them for our engagement pictures and they were super flexible in accommodating the ideas that I had. We even had an issue with the timing of our shoot due to a mishap with traveling, and they still found a way to work with us. Once we got to the actual shoot, Grace was so awesome in making us comfortable in front of the camera, and had done research on photoshoots similar to ours and Ben is a great photographer so we were able to get the absolute best shots! We parted ways and they got the first edited preview back to us before the end of the night (I was so eager)! The rest of the photos were sent a few weeks later, incredibly timely. Grace warned me that her clients said they usually had a tough time choosing which picture they loved most, and she was spot on. 10 out of 10, can't recommend enough! -

Absolutely Stunning!
We hired Novae for our wedding in September 2019. They were super responsive the entire time and flexible when we were way behind on getting them information. They captured our day in photo and video that we absolutely love. They even extended the length of our video because they said they had so much footage they wanted to include, which was really very sweet. The day-of the wedding they were on time, kept us moving through family portraits and never in the way. After getting our photos we were surprised at the shots they were able to actually capture! They do absolutely stunning work and all of our friends & family could not stop raving about how beautiful everything turned out. Their romantic, moody style is (in our bias opinions) exactly what you want for such a romantic and special day. We turned our prints into a book so we can look at these memories for years to come. They gave us all the highlights as well as extra special small moments that made the entire experience very intimate and truly wonderful. -
