Beautiful work

Love them! My bridal party and I all got our hair and make up done by them for my wedding. They showed up on time, they stayed right on schedule, and they did a beautiful job. I would use them again!

Exceeded my expectations

Great experience

I worked with N.AZ Glam Squad for my engagement pictures on wedding day for me and my wedding party. Everyone (Christine, Mariah, and Brianna) were a joy to work with and did a fantastic job giving me a beautiful wedding day look that lasted all night. When one of them realized they'd be running late on wedding day, another person was subbed in and they arrived on time, no issue, and worked with us until our original HMU arrived and set up. I would recommend them to anyone who needs HMU in Northern Arizona.

Great work!

I'm pretty clueless about hair and makeup, but Christine and her team did a wonderful job! I had a fairly big bridal party, but that wasn't an issue since they were so flexible and talented. I felt very glamorous on my big day!

Northern Arizona Glam Squad saved the day!

I contacted Northern Arizona Glam Squad a few weeks before my wedding when things suddenly changed with my DIY pandemic wedding in Oak Creek Canyon and I realized I wouldn't have time to do my own hair and makeup. I got a quick response from Christine with super reasonable prices, especially for the Sedona area! She traveled to our venue in Oak Creek Canyon for a reasonable fee and did amazing bridal makeup/hair for me (exactly the Old Hollywood look I was asking for!) and beautiful up-do braids for my maids of honor. It was even better than the photos I sent her for inspiration and lasted all day.

Amazing makeup service!

I used this group for my wedding makeup and the woman who came to the house was on time, professional, super friendly, and created a light hearted experience. I got airbrush makeup done and it lasted all night - through the tears and the rain!!

They went above and beyond!

My husband and I had decided to elope back in October after covid ruined our wedding plans. We planned on a sunrise ceremony so finding someone for hair/makeup became tricky. When I reached out to Northern Arizona Glam Squad, they said yes and opened the salon at 3:30 to make it work! Mariah went above and beyond. The makeup/hairstyle lasted all day - even during our hike to the ceremony spot. I can’t say thank you enough!

Chris was lovely. She did 3 of us in a reasonable amount of time. We all got exactly what we wanted and it stayed in place all night. I would definitely hire Northern Arizona glam squad again.

NA Glam Squad is professional, kind, on time and most of all GLAM CRITICAL!!

I hired NA Glam Squad sight unseen. We live in Miami and eloped to Flagstaff for a wedding on a ski mountain New Years at sunrise. Not only did they arrive to my place at 4 in the morning, they did such a beautiful job on my hair hair makeup: doing precisely the look I wanted on my wedding day. Every bride wants to look her best, and I definitely felt glamorous, pretty and taken care of that morning. And I’m tv for a living so I am very picky! Highly recommend.

Wedding Hair & Makeup Perfectionists!

I am beyond thrilled with my wedding look from Northern Arizona Glam Squad! Living far away and not being able to book a trial, I was a bit nervous going into the day but Christine & Holly took my example photos and turned them into reality! Actually, even better than I could have imagined! My hair lasted ALL day (through some very windy moments) and my makeup was perfect.
Christine's attention to detail shines through and everything was absolute perfection. You can tell these ladies take pride in their work and love what they do. I would hire Northern Arizona Glam Squad again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

I loved how Christine did my makeup and hair for my son’s wedding. What a professional job! She explained everything she was doing so I understood what she was using on my face. I wasn't planning on doing any makeup for our Sedona engagement photos. I never wear makeup but maybe once or twice a year. It was strongly suggested by a few friends. So, the day before the photo shoot I was running around trying to find someone to fit me in for makeup and a blow out. Northern AZ Glam Squad fit me in as the only client that day and WOW! What an experience. Christine was so patient, cheering me through the makeup application. She made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The end result was absolutely perfect!!!! I can't thank her enough! She's truly an artist!

The Northern Arizona Glam Squad was amazing to work with and I highly recommend utilizing them for any event. Christine is very responsive and professional. I hired Northern Arizona Glam Squad for my wedding at the Grand Canyon in June. Since I was planning a destination wedding, I was unable to have a hair trial prior to my wedding day which made me a bit nervous; however I had no reason to worry because Christine and her team did a beautiful job styling hair for me (the bride), my flower girl, and 6 bridesmaids! I absolutely LOVED how my wedding hair turned out and received compliments from everyone, it was perfect! : ) Christine was very professional and worth every penny, I highly recommend her!

Christine was amazing! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding at the Grand Canyon. I told her what I wanted and showed her some pictures (which the hairstyle was for longer hair) and she adapted it beautifully to my shoulder length hair. For my makeup I told her what I wanted but I wasn't exactly sure of the precise details (such as color of eye shadow, eyelash type etc.) and I let her decide - she did such a good job! I would definitely trust her when it comes to making you look good on your wedding day. :-) She is definitely the best if not one of the best hair stylist and makeup artist I've seen.

Christine is fantastic, very knowledgeable. I paid for bridal services plus bridesmaid services and I was very pleased. The bridal hair and makeup trial is DEFINITELY worth it! It gives you a chance to see what really looks good on you, plus Christine is very patient and will keep adjusting your hair at the trial until you come up with something you are happy with.

Christine with Northern Arizona Glam Squad was super sweet and helpful throughout the whole process. My original hair stylist fell through about 2 months before my wedding. I felt pretty panicked because June is wedding season and figured it would be impossible to find a replacement. Luckily Christine had just added a very talented stylist to her Glam Squad and I was able to book my entire party within a few days. They did such an amazing job and had such positive attitudes. They operated very efficiently and the girls all loved their looks! They were even able to incorporate flower wreaths and flowers into all of our hair. My hair held up the whole night even after hours and hours of dancing. I would book NAZ Glam Squad a million times over again and I couldn't have been happier. I'm still enjoying my new haircolor that Christine did the week of my wedding. Many compliments on the color :) Thanks Chrisitine!

Chris was excellent and willing to help me create a unique hair style. I brought her pictures from online of the styles that I liked and she was able to create a beautiful hair style that made me feel like a beautiful, unique bride!!! She also was able to create a make-up style for my special day, all I did was tell her to make me look beautiful and she picked amazing colors and made me look and feel incredible. To top it all off, she offered to stay until I was fully dressed to make sure that my hair and make-up remained perfect.
I highly recommend her services to others, you will be pleased and look fabulous for whatever event that you are getting ready for!!

Northern Arizona Glam Squad added such a fun touch to our wedding. My hair was amazing... Christine really went above and beyond to ensure that I had exactly what I was dreaming to make my look unique. I had wanted a real '40s look, and she made it happen beautifully!!! She has a real passion for her skill and for her clients' happiness. I would recommend Christine and her crew for any wedding or important event. My make-up was perfect for me, and the compliments I received on her hair and make-up job were through the roof. Our photos were perfection... certainly beyond what I had imagined. These girls were amazing! They worked with my schedule, met all my needs, and surpassed my expectations. Christine did an amazing job on my hair but especially on my makeup! The week of my wedding I went to get my eyebrows waxed (don't ever do it this close to your wedding) and the lady who did it ripped off almost the entirety of the skin directly under both eyebrows. It was horrible and scabby and I looked like a mess. But Christine worked her magic with the airbrush makeup and you couldn't tell at all! It was seriously amazing and I am so thankful for her!

As someone who does not wear a lot of make-up normally and doesn't spend a lot of time on my own hair and make-up, it was such a relief to have a professional take care of this important detail on my wedding day. I loved the fact that she was able to come to wear I was staying and I didn't have to worry about getting to a salon the morning of my wedding and running around. It also allowed my sisters and my mom to get ready at the same time and we could all be comfortable and not rushed. Christine really understood the look I was going for - more natural and minimalistic - and didn't try to push me towards a look that was too over-done or glitzy. Having Christine do my make-up and hair was one of the best decisions I made - I felt beautiful all day and it was such a relaxing way to spend that morning.

They were fabulous!! I looked and felt fabulous and the squad was super flexible as a couple of the girls decided to get their hair or makeup done at the last minute. AWESOME!!!!! What a great experience :) Christine was very responsive - always emailed me back right away. Her team was amazing. Ashley did my hair/makeup and mani/pedi. She was outstanding!! She was super professional, but also felt like one of the girls. She came to my hotel room and did my hair and makeup for the wedding - it was very relaxed. She made my makeup look amazing - I didn't think I could look that good lol! It was natural, but had just the right amount of color to make the pictures look awesome. I highly recommend the air brush makeup, it stayed ALL night and into the morning and I cried A LOT!
Christine and her team also came the night before and did all the bridesmaids pani/pedi's at the hotel. I thought that was neat because they worked around our schedule. I highly recommend the Glam Squad!

What else do I need to say, my wife was Stunning! She wears little makeup and when she came around the corner all done up I swooned. Christine did an amazning job on her and the bridesmaids makeup. Everyone commented how beautiful my wife was, and they were not just being nice it was awesome.

The makeup lasted all night and when she woke up the next morning was still perfect, quite the sight after a beautiful but exhausting wedding.

I am not a makeup guy, but after seeing my wife all done up, might change my mind

The comment I hear the most when people see my wedding pictures is, "oh my god your hair looks gorgeous". Chris did an amazing job. She finds out who you are and majesty you look beautiful for your special day. I don't wear a lot if makeup usually. Chris created a makeup look for me that I was comfortable with, but also made me feel absolutely beautiful for my wedding day. And when we were leaving for the ceremony she even called the front desk to have the room freshened up for us. I was really happy to have her be part of my day. Her special touches made it even more special.

Christine recently did a spray tan party for myself and a few friends. She had shades to suit all of us and all the tans turn out beautiful and natural. Christine’s work is immaculate. When I first met her, it was immediately apparent that she is a true professional and is fantastic at what she does. She made me feel at ease, and had the perfect balance of listening to what I was looking for, and advising me of what she recommended. This was wonderful because even though I had an idea of what I wanted, she was able to help me fine-tune the details. I am so thankful I listened to her advice because she was right about all the details I questioned. In particular, she advised that I should use hair extensions for a particular hairstyle. Thankfully I did, and it came out perfect! She applied airbrush makeup on me and it was absolutely flawless. She took pride in her work and it truly showed. Take my word for it; her services are worth the money. You will be so grateful that you decided to pay a little extra for quality work, I know I am. I cannot thank her enough for her expertise and beautiful job done!

Christine was great! She was so patient with my inability to decide on a hairstyle and was able to book me after I contacted her just a month before the wedding. She was also very flexible with my timeline changes. It took a few emails to get in contact with her (which is why I only gave 4.5 stars), but everything turned out perfect! My hair looked beautiful and lasted all night!

Excellent work!

Glam Squad got all of our hair & makeup done on time and their were 10 of us! They were flexible with letting girls add last minute flowers to their hair and everyone looked beautiful!

Easy and proffesional

My husband and I were eloping at the Grand Canyon, we live in Colorado, so I was a bit nervous about hiring a makeup person. Thankfully I asked my photographer and florist and both of them recommended AGS. So I immediately put down a deposit and hired them for my day. On the day of, everything went so smoothly, was so easy and I got exactly the look I was looking for.

I'm very pleased with their staff and their service. I definitely recommend them for hair and make-up. They got my 7 bridesmaids, myself, and my mother done in about 5 hours and we all looked great! Well worth the price.

The glam squad was great! The only problem we had was that one bridesmaid didn't like her hair. She was too shy to sat anything but everyone's makeup was especially amazing! Great job!

Christine was wonderful to work with. From the moment we started, I felt that I would be in good hands. I was a bit apprehensive to not have a full hair and makeup trial in advance (I did have a hair trial the day before the wedding) however, everything worked out perfectly. She made sure I was comfortable with the style and checked in with me along the way. I felt we were a team creating my perfect wedding day look.

As someone who does not wear a lot of make-up normally and doesn't spend a lot of time on my own hair and make-up, it was such a relief to have a professional take care of this important detail on my wedding day. I loved the fact that she was able to come to wear I was staying and I didn't have to worry about getting to a salon that morning and running around. It also allowed my sisters and my mom to get ready at the same time and we could all be comfortable and not rushed. Christine really understood the look I was going for - more natural and minimalistic - and didn't try to push me towards a look that was too over-done or glitzy. Having Christine do my make-up and hair was one of the best decisions I made - I felt beautiful all day.

Christine did an amazing job! She walked me through everything that she did and is great at listening to how a bride would like her makeup. She is so talented and I would highly recommend her services.

Tip: If she does not respond right away, follow up again as she is busy and can sometimes be hard to reach or takes a little bit of time to respond.

Overall, I had a great experience with Christine and the glam squad. She was able to meet with me before hand and talk about what I was looking for. I never had a trial, but I felt comfortable with her and her services based on the consultation. I sent pictures of my bridesmaids and the styles that they were looking for as they were all out of town. Once the day was here, Christine and two of her girls arrived right on time. They were able to set up quickly and get right to work. I would have given them 5 stars, but one of the women that she brought was rude to my maid of honor and did not pay attention to how she wanted her hair to look at all. It all worked out fine in the end, and I was very happy with how everything turned out. They were able to redo my maid of honor's hair and remedy the situation. The other two women were incredibly polite and kind and I really enjoyed them. They were flexible and made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. I love the way everything turned out and it looks amazing in pictures. the one woman she brought definitely brought the experience down but they were able to come back from it. If it weren't for her, I would have given a perfect rating.

Northern Arizona Glam Squad helped make my wedding day beautiful! They were extremely flexible in coming to meet me in Sedona. My hair and makeup artist Mariah was a great listener and helped capture my personal style. I loved the natural and bohemian look she was able to create. Would highly recommend!

My hairdresser came to my house and produced a hairstyle that truly did last all day. I can't believe how incredible she maid my hair. I wish I hadn't used her for my bridesmaids because she put so much into me and their hair was average. She is worth the money for bridal hair but not bridesmaids' hair.

Christine was very responsive to my emails and communication all the way up to the event date. She was on time and explained everything she was doing. The only negative thing I would say would be that while she was putting on the make-up, she mentioned I had bags under my eyes and was putting some powder on them to cover them up. After the wedding looking back at pictures, I had white circles under my eyes in most of the non-professional pictures and in some of the professional pictures. It was a bummer to look at pictures and see white circles under my eyes. Other than that everything was great, and my mom's makeup was wonderful!!

Poor communication/lack of professionalism

The lady came in with attitude and was upset because of a personal matter. Did a poor job on hair, had to re pin and restyle after she left. Asked for pictures prior to wedding for both hair style and makeup, kept asking for the pictures even though she had them in her email. Talked to my daughter and bridesmaid horribly, called her out on it and she gave me attitude for it. Totally ruined a special moment I wanted to share with my family, instead now all I remember is arguing with her and having to re do make up and hair style! Not worth the $1,300 I spent on them! I am sorry but I will not recommend or will not refer to a friend!

We hired Northern Arizona Glam Squad to do hair and makeup for my wedding in Flagstaff. 7 total services - 3 hair and 4 makeup - were to be done at the venue by Christine and another girl. Christine was not easy to communicate with via email and phone, and in-person started out to be the same on the day of my wedding. She started to prep my hair (curling, pinning back, etc.), after she insisted she did not need to see a picture of the hairstyle I wanted. When my sister asked if my hair was going to turn out the way I wanted (half up-half down), she said, "no!" and yelled at me and questioned why I didn't say anything. "Didn't you feel that I was putting all your hair up?!" I told her that I don't do hair, so I had no idea what her process was. She then told me to pull up the email with the picture of the hairstyle, while complaining how she was going to have to take my hair down and do something completely different.
I pulled up the email I sent her with the pictures of the hair and makeup I wanted, and she insisted she never received them, even after I showed her the email I received from her replying to that email. She then said she had received my original email, but there were different pictures attached, which was ridiculous because I had the original sent email pulled up on my phone. The email I sent to her with the picture of the updo was sent in a separate email that specifically stated that this was the hairstyle one of my bridesmaids wanted.
She finally did my hair the way I wanted, and it looked very nice. She also did my makeup, which looked really nice as well. My girls also looked very beautiful, so I am grateful for that. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone, based on how poorly I was talked to on the day of my wedding. I also did not like how they added 18% gratuity on before the services were performed. Based on our experience, I can see why. It is highly likely I would have given much less or nothing at all.

Profit over service.

I had booked for myself and three guests for hair and makeup at my wedding. Due to Covid-19 flight restrictions being implement the day before they travelled my three guests could not attend my wedding. When asked for a partial refund I was told that was not possible. I was happy to pay for my own service but it seems unfair to profit from and unprecedented event such as this. I am now trying to get my guests money back through my credit card company as they are already out of pocket. The fair thing to do would be to refund the guests fees. I would be wary to book with Northern Arizona Glam Squad for your special day as dealing with Christine is difficult so say the least.

Profiting from Covid-19

We recently travelled to be Married in Arizona and booked hair and make-up for the Bride plus 3 girls attending the Wedding.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak the 3 girls were unable to attend as they were travelling from places restricted by the US with travel bans.
This was dropped on us the night before we were due to fly.
We contacted Christine to ask for a refund for the 3 girls unable to attend.
Christine replied and simply pointed out the cancellation terms on the contract. When we explained that we did not cancel, but had no way of attending due to the virus, Christine just ignored any further contact from us. This was an unprecedented situation, and I am bitterly disappointed that you chose to unfairly keep the money we paid in advance. The virus has impacted all of us, using it to profit speaks volumes about how you run your Business. I would not recommend dealing with this company.

I hired Christine to do both my hair and makeup and well as the make up for all of the bridesmaids (as part of their gifts). First off the trial went okay, the hair turned out good but the makeup was a bit much, which I told her and she was totally fine with lightning up the eye make up. So here comes the wedding day and she ended up not even knowing what she was supposed to do. Luckily I had my contract on me so I could show her all that I paid for. So she does all the bridesmaids makeup and then it comes my turn last. She did NOTHING like the trial (which I paid extra for). My makeup and hair did not turn out great at all and I just couldn't wait for her to leave so I could fix it. In the end, 2 of the bridesmaids took off all their make up and just applied it themselves as well as helped me look and feel beautiful by redoing both my hair and makeup. Also she makes you add gratuity in the contract which is fine, but unfortunately she didn't deserve it at all (since you have to pay for it before she even does the work). Not one of the bridesmaids said a good thing about her and even one of the other vendors made a comment as to how rude she was. I would never recommend her, maybe the other team members are great, but unfortunately my whole experience was with Christine.
