We are so happy we chose NTEC for our wedding venue! This was the best option we found for a lake front venue that was in our budget. And we love Kings Beach and the North Tahoe area, so it worked perfectly. The views are stunning and the terrace worked so well for our 60 person wedding (early June 2025). We did both the ceremony and reception outside and we were so glad we did! The atmosphere was top notch. It was big enough to fit everyone with plenty of space, and it was nice to be able to see your partner from anywhere you were at on the terrace. It can be so easy to lose them through out the evening.
We did not get ready here, we all got ready at nearby Airbnbs instead. The bridal room is small, just for getting dressed or storing things, but there are additional rooms you could rent out.
Brittany and Christina were great to work with and promptly helped me and answered questions via email as I planned our wedding from another state. I highly recommend this venue, and if we had to do it over again, we would choose it again! -

Thank you to everyone at the North Tahoe Event Center for helping make our wedding dreams come true! My husband and I got married in August, so the weather was a little crazy. We were having the ceremony in the sand and the reception outside. The winds started to pick up and we almost had to move inside, but we waited it out and had the most beautiful weather!
The entire event center staff were wonderful through the whole process and were very accommodating for us :) Also, the price is AMAZING for a lakefront Tahoe wedding!
We had the best wedding we could have ever imagined and we can't recommend North Tahoe Event Center enough! Thank you Charlotte and Cathy! -

North Tahoe Events Center
My daughter got married here in September. It was the perfect venue for a wedding. No matter the size of the wedding, they can accommodate you.
My daughter was married outside on the patio, overlooking Lake Tahoe.
The venue has a variety of options for arches and decorations.
We used the catering company that contracts with the venue. The food was delicious and their catering staff was friendly and professional.
My daughter’s friends who were from out of town are still talking about the beautiful wedding and venue.
If you want to have a Lake Tahoe wedding, this is the perfect place for not only price but location. -

Best venue with an amazing venue
From the moment we inquired about having our wedding at North Tahoe Event Center we felt like it was a great choice. Everything was explained in detail even questions we haven’t thought of yet was addressed before we signed the contract. Charlotte and Cathy were always very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. The venue options were great, we loved the collaboration with caterer and the venue. The selections were great and by choosing them it took a lot of our place for table set up. This venue really is a one stop shop, they’ve thought of everything. They are very flexibility and willing to work with you on your entire schedule. Our day was beyond magical due to the support of the venue as well as all of the amazing vendors we chose. We would recommend this venue to anything looking for a great place to have you event elevated with a great price. The view was an added benefit.

Beautiful wedding
We picked this venue for our wedding on June 8th, 2023 because they make it so much less stressful and they aren’t as high strung as other places. They help you plan and they really go above and beyond to make your day special. Planning a wedding is already so stressful and overwhelming. They made it so much easier. They are very laid back and super accommodating. The rental packages they offer made our wedding such a hit. It rained right before our ceremony and they did everything they could to make sure everything remained perfect. I would recommend this venue to anyone. It was so beyond beautiful and the best service I could ever ask for. I am so grateful for them. Great price for having so much, the price included ceremony, reception, and rental package. -

Best choice we could have made for our wedding venue!
I worked directly with Charolette and she was amazing. From the first call to the day of the reception, she was on it! The entire team during the day of the reception were so helpful and brought me calm (it began raining) and I was a bit stressed, but they are so professional and made this event one of the best receptions ever!! Beautiful view of lake and the inside lights make the place bling and sparkle. Reasonable price and great service, I highly recommend this venue!!! 🤩 -

The NTEC was just the venue we were looking for! Within our budget and located in such a gorgeous location! Charlotte and Cathy were the most organized and helpful event coordinators, I can't thank them enough for how easy they made things for us. They were so communicative and flexible, and had so much information available about how to run our event smoothly. The staff were wonderful and things ran without a hitch, even when it continued to rain through our ceremony time. They even provided cute clear umbrellas for many of the guests! We super appreciated the ability to bring in our alcohol and various DIY decor items the day before during our rehearsal, and pick things up the next morning since there were no other events that would be interfered with. Our wedding was so fun and the NTEC helped make it happen! -

We wanted to get married on Lake Tahoe, but were looking for something that didn't totally break the bank. NTEC is the perfect solution for this providing excellent value for the beautiful space they have. The venue coordinators Charlotte and Cathy were fabulous to work with - super flexible, patient with all our questions, responsive and a great source of info and support along the way. While the beach was a bit busy during our ceremony, it cleared up and we had the most beautiful outdoor wedding on the lake. Our sunset was gorgeous and dancing under the huge tree and stars was absolutely magical. -

Perfect venue and great people!
North Tahoe Event Center was the perfect location for our 200-person wedding in August 2022. We rented the whole venue and it was the perfect size. The back patio looks over the beach, which made for a lovely view during our ceremony and was a great place for our guests to stand and chat during cocktail hour and to take a break from dancing.
Our caterer was able to make use of the kitchen, and the venue provided a variety of items we were able to use for free (table number stands, table settings) as well as optional rentals (arch, tablecloths, etc.). They even have a projector and screen we were able to rent to show our wedding slideshow during the dinner reception.
Cathy and Charlotte were SO great. They were super responsive to our questions and concerns, helped put our parents at ease while clarifying information during the planning process, worked closely with our caterer to ensure clear communication about what the venue could provide, and helped us stay calm figuring it all out. We loved working with them.
The venue’s parking situation is not great, so we rented a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests at the nearby Tahoe Vista Recreation Area parking lot, and encouraged guests to take local lake transit or rideshare. Be aware that if you’re planning a summer wedding here, allow plenty of time for guests to arrive and build in wiggle room so things will still play out alright if the ceremony gets started late, like ours did thanks to traffic! -

Planning a wedding is stereotypically tough but planning a wedding during a global pandemic seemed impossible. That is, until we found this dream venue and team! Not only was this priced within our budget (win #1) but the responsive, help, support, and guidance from Cathy and Charlotte made this a near stress free planning process (win #2). Cathy and Charlotte gave us a comprehensive vendor list, that made finding all our vendors a piece of cake, but they also offered rental packages so that we didn’t have to buy, pack up, carry, pack out a lot of the décor (win #3).
While the inside carpet and chairs were a little too event center for us, the twinkle lights, location, and the views were beyond anything we could have imagined. Getting married in one of the most beautiful places in the world was nothing short of a dream come true (win #4).
Overall, we would recommend this venue and team to anyone in the beginning stages of planning your wedding!

I simply could not have picked a better location for my wedding. We hosted 50 people in the lakeside ballroom and enjoyed every second of the grand views of the lake. The best part was the caring staff I worked with went out of their way to make sure I had all my questions answered and are super responsive. The site they use keeps your documents and conversations (incase you forget) and truthfully all of that helps since I planned my own wedding. Out of 5 stars I give them 6. They made our wedding day totally worth it. ❤️ we planned for an outdoor ceremony and we're suprised by snow in April ❄️ -

Excellent Venue
We could not be happier with our venue choice!! We originally chose the North Tahoe Event Center because of the inexpensive pricing but we ended up falling in love with the view! The indoor lighting was exactly the look we were going for. The staff was extremely easy to work with and were quick to answer our questions. The view of the lake and mountains in the background were breath taking! The venue was available to us hours before the wedding began which made decorating and set up stress free. The surrounding area had plenty of nearby airbnbs and hotel lodging for guests. Overall WONDERFUL venue, amazing experience, incredible day!!! -

The North Tahoe Event Center was the perfect venue for our wedding! Scheduling, planning, setup, and the event were so easy. Cathy and her team were flexible and patient as we made change after change. They were able to accommodate all of our requests and offer many helpful suggestions, they were amazing in helping to relieve some of the planning stress! The lighting and decorations helped to create a beautiful ceremony and reception. The outdoor patio was perfect for the ceremony and cocktails. The indoor rooms were comfortable, fresh, and all the amenities were in great condition. We couldn’t be happier with everything the event center did for us to make our wedding day unforgettable. -

Everything I wanted & more!
I knew from the moment we walked into the venue, "this is it". We immediately felt comfortable and supported. Cathy and her team are extremely flexible and patient. I'm not a visual person so they were always available for any questions we had and allowed us to do as many walk throughs we wanted. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. -

Beautiful venue!
We are so happy that we chose North Tahoe Event Center for our wedding venue! It was so difficult to pick a venue for a destination wedding remotely, but Cathy made the process easy. She was so personable and easy to work with. She answered all my questions, no matter how small or last minute, in a timely manner. We were their first wedding after covid-19 restrictions were lifted in California and even had their CEO Bradley Johnson personally come to congratulate and thank us. We felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable at this venue thanks to Cathy and Bradley. Now the venue itself is so much more breathtaking and beautiful than pictures will ever do it justice. The multiple floor to ceiling windows facing the lake, connecting out to the patio, and then the beach is such a great set-up. Our guests loved being able to go back and forth from the indoor to outdoor spaces. We received so many compliments on our chosen venue. I would highly recommend North Tahoe Event Center for your wedding. Thank you Cathy! -

9/1/19 Wedding Went Great!
On 9/1/19 at North Lake Tahoe Event Center, our daughter married our new son-in-law. In January, we reserved their Lakeview reception room and patio for the wedding. Kathy and her team were terrific. All our plans were executed well and the event went smoothly. We created wonderful wedding memories there and would recommend it to anyone considering a Lake Tahoe wedding.

Denise Sent on 07/07/2014Kathy should just run for Mayor. She gets things done at NTEC and makes great recommendations based on her 700+ wedding track record there. She and her staff are friendly, professional, and are a delight to be around. Kathy helped us with seating charts, room layouts, and planning and organizing as late as the day before the wedding! She even caught a linen error count that was being managed by someone else at the last minute to save the day! My only issue was with NTEC was when I signed my contract, NTEC ran the nearby parking. When park and rec took it over 30 days before, I had to eat the cost to my guests since I'd already told them on weddingwire.com that it was covered. Not Kathy's fault...
