The very best place to get your wedding dress

we stopped by Norman's on a whim when our daughter Amanda was getting married and after the AMAZING experience we went directly back to Norman's for my Savannah's wedding dress. the only hard part is picking just one dress. there selection is by far the best! and the beautiful ladies that assisted us were so warm and energetic. i recommend them to anyone looking for not just a wedding dress but prom dresses along with mother of the bride dresses.

I said yes to the dress!

It was an amazing experience. I went because I saw a dress online and they had that exact dress in the store. They have an amazing inventory too! So many to pick from and a style & prince range for almost any budget.

Awesome experience!

Katie was wonderful! She was incredible at helping me hone in on what I was looking for when I had no idea what that was. She helped me find options that were in my price range and gave me all the information I needed up front to make an informed decision. She made what could have been a daunting and stressful experience pleasant and worry-free.

Go to normans!

I want to start this review by saying, Please visit Normans for your dress!! I went on whim since my mother bought her own wedding dress from Normans in 2014. Within minutes Patty was already walking me through the dresses and we had an armful. And of all the dresses I fell in love with the very first one Patty had chosen. She was attentive, funny, and very helpful. I can't sing enough praises for this shop and Patty!

Found my perfect unique dress for my BIG DAY

I had such an incredible experience. My stylist, Patty Smulski, knew my exact style I needed without even having to tell her. It was the first bridal shop I had been to and my dream dress was the third one I tried on! I never thought I would be so thrilled about finding a dress especially since I am very very picky. My whole group and I were teary eyed. Couldn't be more thankful for how wonderful and helpful the service was.

Wonderful!

Katie was very helpful with what I wanted and what price point I wanted to stay at. She helped my find the perfect dresses and veil. I has just come from another and was disappointed at the selection. This store had so many more choices.

Absolutely amazing!

Liz was wonderful to work with. I showed her very few of my inspiration pictures, and she immediately had an eye for what I would like. It’s almost like she saw my vision! Lol. She helped me find my dream dress, and I am beyond excited. I’m very grateful for the wonderful experience I had, so much that my bridesmaids & I booked an appointment to find their dresses as well. I would 100% recommend their services to any of you lovely brides on the search for your dream dresses.

I said YES at Normans

Normans Bridal came highly recommended to me from several places, so I planned on them being my first and last stop for my wedding dress. From the second we walked in the door, all of the staff were highly professional and welcoming! By the end of the day, everyone was cheering me on. My stylist, Tara, was the best consultant I could have asked for!! I had very particular styles I liked and didn’t like, she was very receptive and quick to catch on. When I started to feel overwhelmed with choices, she made the right recommendations and guided me. She was kind to my family and very receptions to the input from my MOH who was communicating my needs. There were plenty of styles available, many that could fit a more restricted budget. My overall experience was phenomenal!! I have already recommended to the other brides I know. Tara made me feel so at home and answered all of my questions. Truly an incredible experience! They also have bridesmaid dress options in a variety of colors & styles as well as promotions for mother of the bride dresses! We all said yes to the dress here.

Normans Bridal was a great experience

I would definitely recommend Normans bridal. The girl that helped me was Katie J. She was amazing. She found what I was looking for very fast and made me feel very comfortable. She found me the one in a short time. I think I tried on 6-7 before finding the one. The other girls in the store were very kind and respectful.

Norman’s is the BEST!

From this second I walked in, I knew Norman’s was the right place to find the dress I had been dreaming about. The dress I found was GORGEOUS, but I am leaving a review because of the EXCEPTIONAL customer service Brenda and Tara provided. Tara helped me try on dress after dress, helping me find ones that were not only what I envisioned but also ones that would please my family with me. She was patient, helpful and encouraging. She didn’t give up until we found THE dress. Brenda had helped my mom in finding her dress and remembered her from 25 years ago. She wanted my momma to approve, so she made sure to help Tara and I find the perfect dress that we all fell in love with. I never leave reviews, but I could go on and on about these two ladies because they deserve it! They know their stuff and they will make sure you leave a happy bride ❤️ So to Tara and Brenda, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Great Customer Service, Beautiful Dress!

I found my dream dress at Norman's Bridal! The ladies that assisted me were very knowledgeable about dress styles, shapes, and structures, and were respectful of my budget. They were lively and fun and seemed to really enjoy helping me find my dress. And gosh is it beautiful!!! They were also very accommodating about when I could pick up my dress (I'm from St. Louis but went to MSU in Springfield and the dress arrived in the store while I was home on winter break). They do not have a seamstress in store but they had a printed list of seamstresses that they trust and recommend. I am very satisfied with my experience at Norman's Bridal!

If your looking for an amazing experience I highly recommend visiting Normans Bridal! We were actually on vacation and we were just trying to get dress idea's since we wouldn't all be together again to find a actual dress. My first experience at another boutique was rather defeating to say the least. I knew exactly what i wanted in my head and because the first boutique had nothing like that the consultant tried to convince me out of my idea all together. Katie B at Norman's was absolutely amazing! I instantly felt comfortable with her and she asked me a few questions about my vision and knew exactly what dress i had in my head that no one else could envision! She nailed it on the first dress she picked out! I tried on a few more gorgeous gowns but the first one she picked was the dress. I never thought i would ever be the kind of bride to cry or have "the moment" but Katie B made everything so perfect that i cried when i stepped back into the first dress to show my family with a veil. If you want a bridal store and consultant that knows their dresses, styles and treats you like family than Norman's Bridal is it! Thank you for helping me find the perfect dress!!!

Best Experience

I had never dreamed about the style of dress I wanted so I did some research before going into Normans. I found that the dresses I liked, did not look good on my body (short). The owner stepped in and asked me to try on a dress she thought would look stunning on me. I tried it on and instantly fell in love! Everyone at Normans was great to work with. My dress was ordered and delivered earlier than expected. I would HIGHLY recommend Normans to any bride!

Amazing dress shopping experience with incredible customer service!

I had the best wedding dress shopping experience here and I highly recommend this place for their overall incredible customer service and amazing choice of dresses for all types of budgets. I had the pleasure of working with Patty and I am so glad that she helped me find my dream dress. She never pressured me to make a choice and she encouraged me when I finally found the one! Wonderful Experience

From the moment you go in, it’s really special. The shop is beautiful and the staff is warm & down-to-earth. Katie was amazing! She was my daughter’s consultant & she did everything for her: found dresses ( in the budget!), helped her change, gave us all very helpful hints, offered advice but not pushy or “sales-like” in any way. She found the PERFECT dress for Beth. Many beautiful $500 dresses to look at.

Beautiful dress for a beautiful bride

Norman's takes the time to allow you to try on dresses until you find that special dress. When we needed to do alterations it was easy to pick up the dress and drop it off. They pressed the dress before the wedding and stored until the day of. This is a professional, quality establishment.

Norman's is THE BEST

As soon as I walked into Norman's, I was blown away. The selection and atmosphere was incredible, and I was helped right away. After going to several other stores (and quite frankly being underwhelmed), Norman's was a breath of fresh air. The staff was understanding, and I wasn't having dress after dress shoved in my face. Despite being busy, I had a fantastic consultant., who was so very attentive. Kaitlyn was EXCELLENT, and after simply describing to her what I was looking for, she immediately picked out a dress that was EXACTLY what I wanted. It ended up being the dress I went home with! I'd recommend Norman's to any bride. I'm still blown away!

Patti was a lifesaver. My daughter Decided to elope and we had 3 days to buy the wedding dress and all the extras. Norman’s was our first stop and 1 hour later we had the perfect dress and all the extras at a very reasonable cost. I had put off finding a dress trying to avoid the stress of planning my elopement, but once Brenda started hearing about my vision and helping me locate my dress, there was no stress. I went in to shop the flash 500 sale, my very first time in a bridal shop so I wasn't really expecting to find my dream dress at the first stop. And especially not on sale!

Absolutely love Norman’s!! I had the best experience finding my dress and it only took three till I found the one. My dress was absolutely beautiful and got so many compliments on it. I even got the matching cathedral veil to my dress too! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

I am from Springfield, MO but have currently been living in NYC for the past few years. I scheduled appointments at Lovely Bride and Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. The dresses were beautiful and the customer service was great. However, I just hadn't found "the one". I planned a trip back home just so my mother, sister and best friend could have the chance to dress shop with me. I did not expect to find a dress. Norman's was our first stop. The FIRST dress I tried on was a winner! I was shocked. I am not a fast decision maker and usually think through things over and over again. I surprised myself on this day but the dress and the service here are above and beyond! After I purchased the dress I had the feeling I made too quick of a decision but tried to relax until the dress came in. I am happy to say after my final fitting that the dress is the one! The Norman's bridal team took the time to contact the designer for me and ordered some additional lace I need for alterations. I'm so excited to wear my dress! Thank you Norman's Bridal!

I bought my wedding dress here and it was perfect. I came during the Dash for the Dress event, and they had a lot of staff on hand to help assist customers with shopping and trying on dresses.

The girls at Norman's were the best! They were so helpful and sweet! There wasn’t single staff member that wasn’t ready to help. I went with just my mom to browse, and we ended up finding the dress right off the bat (mostly because the consultants know how to get you what you want in your budget). If I had an unlimited budget and could go to any bridal shop in the world, I’d still go to Norman’s.

I ended up purchasing the 2nd dress I tried on at Norman's Bridal. Their staff was so helpful and accommodating. They made my experience of finding the perfect dress one I will never forget! Katlyn and the rest of the Norman’s team were SO helpful. They care about each bride that comes through the door. They won’t stop until they have found you the dress that makes you feel beautiful and like YOURSELF. You cannot beat Norman’s vast selection and variety of dresses. Their care for the customer is tangible.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Normans, Brenda, my consultant, Lexus, and the bridesmaid consultant, Christian. Walking into Normans I was a little nervous, assuming that I would have a hard time finding the perfect dress. But, thanks to Lexus being amazing, and taking plenty of time with me during my appointment, I walked out of the store knowing that I had found the one. Their selection is amazing, and I loved that as a plus size woman, I could actually try things on that would zip and give me the complete look.
I thought that I wanted sleeves for my wedding dress, so the staff was easy to work with and ordered me the exact lace to match my dress. (Turns out the dress was beyond perfect without the sleeves, and I regret nothing!)
I was one of the unlucky brides to have chosen Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dresses for all 5 of my bridesmaids. I am so, so, so thankful to have chosen these dresses from Normans, because as soon as it was possible, Brenda was on the phone with me telling me what had happened, and she had a plan for us to go forward. Normans was extremely helpful and generous when it came to replacing our 5 dresses. In the end, I loved our replacement bridesmaid dresses more than the original Alfred Angelo dresses.
Thank you Brenda, Lexus, Christian, and all of the other staff at Normans. I'm so thankful to have had such an amazing experience!

Great customer service! I told them the style I wanted and they brought me everything they had to try on. It only took me 5 dresses to find “ the one”! The bridesmaid department was super helpful since I wasn’t 100% sure on what I wanted my bridesmaids to wear. They showed me multiple options until I found what I wanted! Super helpful and friendly!

The first time I went to Normans my experience was very disappointing. The skinny blond that was working at the time made me feel that if I was spending less than $1,000 I was wasting her time. (I ended up spending over 2,000). I told her I didn't know what I was willing to spend as I didn't know what price to expect or what I was looking for. She took this as a loss and showed me the sale rack with about 2 dresses in my size and didn't help me any further or offer me a fitting room. I said I would never come back but I did because the dresses were too pretty. The next time I came init was actually the owner (I didn't know at the time) and from the moment I stepped in to the second I left she was soooo helpful and kind! She really made me feel like she didn't care how much I spent but wanted me to feel beautiful. I described what I liked (lots of bling and princess look) and the fist dress she had me try on was a PERFECT fit and exactly what I wanted. I'm very busty and a bigger girl and never would have thought I'd find a dress that made me feel as beautiful as I did. I have recommended Norman's to many of engaged friends since!

Great selection in a variety of price ranges. Helpful staff. My Wedding Dress arrived much sooner than the store anticipated. I was treated like a valued customer. There is no reason to go to the big bridal chain store in town - you can get a reasonably priced dress here and will get superior customer service.

I went to Normans to try on a specific wedding dress while out dress shopping for the first time. Katie Jankovitz immediately found the dress in the photo, but she also thought of another dress for me to try on, but couldn't find it on the rack. When she led me into my dressing room, there hanging up, was the dress she had mentioned. It was love at first sight with this dress.
Katie was amazing throughout the entire visit, making me feel so comfortable and she was a great help in finding my perfect dress. Katie and the Normans staff were a big part of making that day, a wonderful one.

I came into the store as a walk-in on a Saturday, not expecting to get to look around since it was busy. However, I was immediately greeted by Liz, who said she had a 30 minute gap between appointments to help me find my dream wedding dress. I was nervous, but she delivered! She listened to my ideas for a boho, open back gown and my requests regarding budget. She was so encouraging and motivated. In that small window of 30 minutes she did indeed find me my dream dress and it was even under budget! I can't recommend her services enough. She was an angel and a life saver!!

This is where my mom bought her wedding dress over 30 years ago. Norma’s got me in the Saturday morning we called for an appointment and had excellent service! Only took about an hour to find my dream dress. They won’t put you in a dress out of your budget or try to talk you into anything extra. I also love that once my dress comes in they are going to store my dress until up to my wedding date! Everyone was so friendly. Made for a great experience.

My bridal consultant was absolutely amazing!!! The day before I went into Normans' I had gone to a different bridal place and they were so rude, I told my consultant about this and she was so sweet and tried her best give me the dress I wanted and my mom wanted. She even gave her opinions on the dress and how it looked, my mom doesn't do shopping very well and wasn't super helpful. I love the dress I got! My consultant was so helpful and understanding! I tell everyone about my experiences with bridal places and always tell them Normans is so wonderful! I highly recommend to everyone looking! ♡

I went to their annual Dash for the Dress Sale! I thought it would be super overwhelming and hectic, but it was the exact opposite! The staff was very helpful and styled me with a veil. I just bought my dress from them today. They are amazing I can in with a picture of the one I liked and that's the one I got. They were so much help and very professional. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

By far the best store of the 5 I have been to!!! My consultant was Lexus Weekley, and she was just (beyond words) incredible. Unlike some of the consultants we encountered at other shops, she was totally unphased by my small budget! She found me a gown well within my limit, and it is even more beautiful than the uber-expensive dresses other consultants pushed me to try on! I was floored with Lexus' genuinely caring attitude and budget-savvy style! She wasn't happy until I was in love, and didn't try to flatter me toward buying something I didn't feel comfortable in. I adore this shop, and these employees. And I am IN LOVE with my dress! Yay!

Make sure to ask questions. You don't have to go in there knowing what you want exactly. But they will pick out dresses they think will fit your style. So if you have a theme to your wedding. They will most certainly help you out.
