    Wonderful Wedding Food

    We used Normandy Catering at our wedding at The Tanglewood Club in Chagrin Falls, OH and everyone loved the food! The tasting went great 4 months beforehand, so we were excited for everyone else to try the amazing food we had picked. The appetizers were great (chicken kabobs, crab cake) but the main entrees were even more fantastic! (prime rib, chicken, mahi mahi with brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes) Everyone had large portions with fantastic flavors and wonderfully cooked food. They also worked with us on dietary restrictions without any issues. It was a great part of our wedding day and would definitely recommend!

    Normandy did a FANTASTIC job with our catering! We gave them a particularly challenging job, too, since there were 14 different small plates, in five stations, and they all needed to be served at once. Our venue also does its own serving, which was probably also a challenge for them, but as bride, I did not hear about it (yay!).

    Pam was our event coordinator and she was just brilliant. She saved our butts, too, pointing out a miscommunication we had with the venue that would have delayed food getting to the guests by almost an hour. She was extraordinarily patient and kind -- and soothing!! -- especially given that I kept adding food and worrying about plates and glassware.

    There were nonstop raves from our guests about the quantity and quality of the food. Everyone was extraordinarily pleased. I would recommend Normandy without hesitation -- completely happy with their food and service!!

    Normandy Catering was amazing! We had our reception at Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland. Normandy brought the buffet to us! Kathy was easy to work with and very responsive. I could go on and on about the reasons why I would recommend Normandy, but I will list the top reasons below:

    1. The quality of food was exceptional! Everyone said that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! We had a buffet with salad, dinner roll, pretzel chicken, sliced roast beef, pasta primivera, roasted potatoes, and seasonal veggies. Delicious!!

    2. No one left hungry! My family told me that everyone was not only happy with the quality, but also with the quantity of food. We even had leftovers!

    3. The price was so reasonable! The price for 3 entrees, 2 sides, salad, and roll was $16.95/person. We also had the chef stay to slice the roast beef ($140.00 for 4 hours). The delivery fee was only $25.00. Even with the delivery fee and chef, the price per plate was about $10 less than the other caterers we researched.

    The food was fantastic, well timed, and beautifully plated. We will absolutely recommend this caterer to our friends and family!

    So far everything has been excellent. I am a bride that lives in Texas planning my wedding in Cleveland and Kathy has been great with helping with coordinate everything and being flexible with my schedule. Pricing is excellent value and bar options are awesome! Cant wait!

    We used Normandy for the catering for our wedding. The food was hot, staff was professional, and they made sure we were able to eat the hor'dourves. I would highly recommend them.

    Kathy was amazing to work with right from the beginning. She was so helpful and really made our planning for the big day super easy. When the day came , the team was professional, the food was delicious and everything happened/looked exactly how I imagined it. Everyone that attended had nothing but great things to say about the food and the atmosphere! =)

    We had our reception at the Normandy in Wickliffe and could not have asked for a better place. We were actually booked at a different reception hall and decided to change our venue and I am so glad we did. The food at the Normandy was absolutely amazing!!! I have had so many compliments on the food it has been crazy. "the best wedding food they have ever had" It was so easy to work with Kathy and she was so extremely helpful...we had a great time and would not change anything!! I highly recommend having your reception with the Normandy!!

    Everything was delicious and very elegant. The only thing I would of liked better would be that they would of served my wedding cake not just cut and then wrap it

    I used Normandy Catering for my wedding and they fitted my needs perfectly. Kathy the coordinator played a big role for me she let me days before my wedding take things to the venue for me. Everything was set up nicely, and the floor plan was exactly how I wanted everything to be. The food was delicious and very warm. Definitely I would use their services again!!

    We worked with Kathy and she really helped us make our day special. She made sure everything went smoothly. The food was amazing, the guests raved about how great it was. All of the staff was polite and was quick to serve each guest. All around great experience at Normandy. Very pleased with everything.

    This was the third affair for my family at The Normandy (both my sister & brother had their receptions here) in the past 3 years and their attention to detail never fails to amaze me. My coordinator was Pam and she was a God send. Not only did she work with me for the ceremony and reception held at The Normandy, she assisted me in finding and securing the perfect location for a intimate rehearsal dinner. Access to both her and the facility was exceptional. She listened, made suggestions and offered advice without being pushy. All the time working within my budget and more importantly my wishes. She worked seamlessly with the other vendors and was especially accommodating to my florist. The venue is beautiful, the service outstanding, and the FOOD! I had a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres & beverages and a reception with stations: carved beef, carved pork, tri-colored pasta with or without chicken, stir fry vegetables with or without shrimp. My guests had only one complaint: Each selection was so good and they ate so much that they didn't have room for more. Everyone had a great time. I had a ball and partied the night away, what more could any bride want?

    This was a GREAT experience. We had Normandy cater our offsite wedding reception and they could not have made it easier! We had access to the venue the night before, and Kathy came out with a few of her employees and they set up all of the tables the night before. We gave her a sketch of where we wanted the tables, and I set one to look exactly how I wanted with the centerpiece I made, and the next day when I came back to glimpse it, it was PERFECT.

    AND THE FOOD! The food was AMAZING! I always wanted Chicken and Steak Kabobs, not a traditional request for a wedding, and I told Kathy this, and the chefs came up with the MOST AMAZING dishes. Best Kabobs I have ever had, and all of the sides were DELICIOUS! They made us a vegan vegatable kabob plate for some of my guests too and during the food tasting, I debated if I maybe wanted to have it. IT TOO was delicious.

    Kathy also had the best catering staff I have ever seen. The bartenders were so professional, we provided our own alcohol for we found it more financially in our interest, but the bartenders Normandy provided were PERFECT. Also the wait staff was so friendly and curteous, it was perfect and I cannot recommend them enough! Go check out their food!

    I have a friend who has a lot of dietary restrictions due to a health condition, and they make the food in a way that NO modification wasneeded for her to eat the dinner. She was so happy and so was I. This is the way to go!

    Breakfast for Dinner!

    Normandy Catering was an excellent caterer for our wedding. They were very helpful in accommodating our somewhat unique request to have breakfast for dinner at our reception. The food was very tasty, including delicious waffles, the best and crispiest bacon we have ever eaten, and a range of delicious breakfast-centric appetizers. We worked with Tawny for most of our time wedding planning, and she was quick to respond to emails, on-time to meetings and calls, and very knowledgeable. She offered helpful suggestions when we had questions/concerns and was overall excellent to work with. After Tawny’s departure from Normandy, we also worked with Stacey later in the process. She was also quick to respond to emails and was very helpful in scheduling some in-person meetings when we had limited availability since we lived out of the area. She was also excellent to work with and was very fun during our linen selection process.

    We found the prices to be similar to those of the other approved
    caterers for our venue. We did find that the prices were not negotiable, so the rates were quoted stayed the same. But the prices were not overall unreasonable.

    During the reception, the Normandy staff were absolute pros,
    for the most part, going out of their way to make things run smoothly. One small complaint we heard from guests was that the waiters were very quick to grab people's drinks if left unattended for a moment (despite us providing coasters that said “don’t take my drink, I’m dancing”) and did not refill
    waters quickly, but beyond that, everything went well. As the bride and groom, our water glasses were always full to the brim and no one took our drinks unless they were empty. We'd especially like to shout-out the managers at our reception, who definitely went above and beyond. We would like to sincerely thank Susan, who kindly noticed that the bride was extremely hot (because the venue was warm) and jumped in to resolve it. She really advocated for us and our guests, and we cannot thank her enough.
