I have way too many good things to say about Nora to list them here. She was an absolute godsend throughout the wedding planning process. I had the honor of being the first groom she worked with. I had no idea where to begin and was so anxious I was going to fall short. Nora constantly reassured us, guided us, and helped us through every turn of the wedding planning process. Our wedding day was truly the day of our dreams and its all credit to Nora. Let this be your sign; yes you need a wedding planner and it should be Nora!

Invaluable

Hiring a wedding planner was the best decision I made in planning for the wedding. If you have the option to do so, you won't regret it. It was so helpful to have someone assist in the process from day one, keeping us on track month by month and bringing our vision to life. The ability to hand off discussions with vendors to someone else who works in the industry the month prior to the actual wedding was such a blessing. I am definitely one of those people who thinks they can handle it all, and I absolutely love planning and running events for others but when it came to our own wedding I wanted to be able to focus on us and enjoying the time leading up to the wedding as well as the event itself. The day of went by so fast and there were some hiccups that we were completely unaware of because Nora and Lorinda took care of them. We even got compliments on Nora and Lorinda from our venue owners and our photographer. This was the first investment we made for the wedding (outside of the engagement ring 😉) and it was so very worth it. I would recommend Nora and Lorinda to anyone looking for help with their wedding & events.

Nora was a lifesaver!

Nora was absolutely amazing! We decided to go with her month-of package, and we’re so glad we did! No matter how much you plan for a wedding in advance, there are so many details to plan and organize in the month leading up to the wedding, and Nora was a huge help for that. She was also very responsive before that one month period started whenever I needed advice or recommendations. During the month before the wedding, Nora attended our venue’s one month out meeting, helped me finalize my centerpiece idea, made a detailed timeline for the day of the wedding, coordinated all the little details that hadn’t even crossed our minds (such as reminding us to ask a friend/family member to pick up all the decorations, gifts, etc. from the venue after the reception), and was in contact with all of our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Nora was extremely helpful with making sure our ceremony rehearsal ran smoothly, which really put us at ease! On the day of the wedding, she made sure that all the vendors and professionals were following the wedding day timeline, set up all the decorations exactly how we had planned, helped make sure every detail of the day flowed smoothly, and broke down all the decorations after the reception. There are a ton of other ways Nora helped us, but that would make my review ridiculously long, so I’ll end this by saying Nora was a lifesaver, and we’re so glad that she was our month-of coordinator!

Great Experience!

I can not say enough about NoLo Weddings. We worked with Nora and from the beginning she was excellent.... I mean my now husband thought she was really cool which meant a lot coming from him. She was easy to access, answered my questions, provided suggestions, and made day of activities work soothingly. While I know there had to be hiccups day of, just because that how things work, I was never aware of anything during the wedding and thats what I LOVED the best. My favorite memory is have 40 people show up for our rehearsal (most not in the wedding) and she was able to handle it and keep everyone inline. Thank you Nora for a great wedding experience!

Nora from NoLo is the best!

Do yourself a big favor and contract Nora from NoLo Weddings & Events to work with you. We were on the fence as to whether we wanted to spend the $s needed for a day-of wedding planner for my daughter's wedding. Then we spoke with Nora. Before we even met her face to face, her personality came through clear on the phone. Turns out, one of the best decisions we made was to hire her. My daughter lives in the Seattle, WA area but was getting married in MD. Although Nora was our day-of planner, she jumped into action way before that. She gave us valuable guidance on different aspects of the plan, toured the venue, made contact with all vendors, reviewed our contracts and assisted us with our minute by minute timeline. She did all of this while pregnant and then just post delivery. She never missed a beat. Her manner and demeanor is very professional yet so friendly and approachable. My daughter felt very comfortable contacting her to bounce any question off of her. I personally found her to be very calming. Possibly the best value came on the actual day of the wedding. After attending the rehearsal, the bridal party and our family members were able to put a face with the name. If they needed anything, Nora was their contact. She arrived early for the ceremony and the reception and was the connection between all vendors and activities. She took care of every little detail that we had no idea how we would accomplish. She picked up, unloaded, set up, re-packed, assisted, directed, etc. Her presence allowed everyone to have a wonderful time without having to worry about how any of the multitudes of details and chores would be taken care of. She did it all with a smile and the grace of a true professional. We couldn't have been happier with the service she provided.

So Worth It!

My husband and I were really on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, but I am so incredibly thankful that we did! We hired Nora for day-of coordination and she was simply amazing! I realized that I didn't want to be worrying about details the day of my wedding, and once I knew Nora was there with us, there was nothing to worry about! She had things 100% under control and I knew that I could trust her to make the ceremony space and ballroom meet my vision and keep the day running smoothly. She had some challenges our wedding day but she handled them without us even knowing until the following day. Looking back I cannot even imagine what this day would have been like without her! Both of these ladies are truly easy to work with, kind, fun extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Exactly what we needed!

We worked with Lorinda at NoLo Wedding +Events and utilized their 3-month-out package. Lorinda was great. We hired her after we picked majority of our vendors, but we were planning from across the country and wanted a planner to assist with logistical details. Lorinda was exactly what we needed-- attentive, helpful, and very professional. We didn't worry about a thing day of, and had so much fun at the reception because Lorinda kept to the timeline and led us where we needed to be without being pushy. Having Lorinda really took the additional planning stress off of my husband and I, because weddings can be stressful enough! I would definitely recommend Lorinda and NoLo to other couples needing a bit of assistance.

Amazing! Nora was a god-send!

I want to start off by saying, hiring Nora was the best decision we made in our whole wedding planning process! She was fantastic! Very attentive, receptive to all of our crazy ideas & super patient with my extreme type A personality! She was on top of all the communications with our vendors - the last 2 months, we didn't need to do anymore coordinating with our vendors, she took care of everything, and it was so helpful! One of the most important thing to us on our wedding was staying on time, and making sure everything happened when they were supposed to - Nora nailed it! We stayed on time throughout the ENTIRE day, which is rare for a wedding! She also was the boutonniere wizard - one of our groomsmen knocked his off and basically lost all the pedals & Nora somehow rigged it up and made it look normal again-- also, the Father of the Bride's boutonniere just fell apart right before walking down the aisle, and she had one right on hand, pinned it up and we were off like nothing happened! She was just great- she was everywhere you needed her to be, without asking her to be! Not only was she great at her job, she was a pleasure to work work! 10/10 would recommend to anyone planning a wedding!

Nora is an amazing day of wedding coordinator! I have worked with her as both a bride and a bridesmaid. Each time her calm nature and professional attitude made the day go smoothly.

I first met Nora in 2016, when my sister hired her to help plan her wedding. All day Nora was everywhere, solving the minor problems that are unavoidable and answering the questions that other vendors had about set up, decorations, etc. Because of that experience, when my fiance and I got engaged, Nora was the first person we hired to help us plan our big day. This time around I realized how much more she did to help each of her brides. We spoke over the phone several times throughout the planning process and she was always quick with advice, but never made me feel pressure to do things a certain way. As most people in my situation, I had never planned a wedding before and there is A LOT that no one tells you. Nora was the one that made sure each detail was attended to and the big day would be exactly what my fiance and I wanted. Nothing was overlooked thanks to Nora and our wonderful team of vendors. I walked down the aisle that day knowing everything was taken care of and I could focus on my husband and the family and friends who were there to celebrate with us.

Bottom line...Nora was a gem to have throughout the whole process and I would recommend her to any and all of my friends planning a wedding :)

Nora is AWESOME!!!! I used her "day-of" services, and they were worth every penny. Nora took all of the stress off of myself, my family, and my bridesmaids, and coordinated everything on the day of my wedding (timeline, the vendors, table setup, etc.). She even put everything into my parents' car at the end of the evening, which was so helpful. She kept me so organized. I would hire Nora again in a heartbeat. Where do I even begin? If you are a bride- or groom-to-be who is wondering whether or not a coordinator is worth the additional cost or whether or not this is the company for you, let me stop you right there and tell you to book NoLo immediately. Take it from someone who has seen both sides of the day-of coordinator spectrum and knows that a coordinator—the right coordinator—for your big day will be invaluable. Specifically, NoLo will be invaluable.

I am one of the most Type-A people I've ever encountered in my life. It's admittedly a source of both pride and often anxiety. I knew that, if I didn't take the proper precautions and surround myself with the best team of vendors on my wedding day, I would single-handedly ruin it for myself by letting my anxiety take over. Now, it takes a LOT for me to relinquish my control of things I'm passionate about and have worked painstakingly on. That said, for me to be able to hand over the baton on my wedding day, so that I was free to smile, laugh, breathe, celebrate, and love with ease—knowing full well that everything was taken care—made ALL the difference in the world. NoLo transformed me into the bride I always hoped I could be because of it and I make no exaggerations.

Throughout the process, Nora was diligent, responsive, and incredibly supportive. I'd spoken with other coordinators that were pushy and rather big know-it-alls, which is NOT the type of vendor you want for your day. I was lucky enough to have both Nora and Lorinda there the day-of and they simply knocked it out of the park. They were decisive for me and my now-husband; they were proactive, organized, and intuitive; they were, again, supportive—I could go on forever. They did everything in their power to make sure that my husband, our families, and I did nothing but bask in our day, and we did.

In short, I can't thank them or sing their praises enough and I mean it when I say invaluable.

We had the pleasure of working with Nora & we really couldn’t have gotten through our wedding day without her! We selected the month of coordination package, however Nora was still extremely responsive & helpful throughout the whole planning process.

On the day of our wedding, they were calling for a chance of rain. With our ceremony being outdoors, this bride was more than a little worried. As mother nature would have it, it rained during our ceremony. I really thought the rain would've ruined EVERYTHING, but somehow I was still so calm & collected. Nora lifted a huge weight off of our shoulders. Knowing we had someone handling the chaos & making the tough decisions behind the scenes made all the difference in the world. She helped me realize my vision, by keeping me informed just enough to make the ceremony outdoors happen. She was able to herd the guests out the door quickly with the break in the rain & made it all happen without me lifting a finger.

I never once had to worry about our wedding day timeline. Nora was behind the scenes communicating with & keeping our vendors on track.

Towards the end of the night, I remembered thinking about our rental items. I was unsure of who would be packing it all up (since these items had to be returned I wanted to make sure we had those items taken care of). When I approached Nora, she simply smiled & said "It's all taken care of!”. This was such a relief!

Nora executed & delivered & we really can't thank her enough!

I knew the from the second I talked to Lorinda on the phone that I would love her. Lorinda was my month-of coordinator and brought along Nora for the big day to help set-up my very tedious to-do list. Everything I had imagined and more happened because of them. I never had to bat an eye, they took over and made everything such a seamless experience, from my timelines, from placement of every item to make the ceremony/reception beautiful, from removal of items, carefully putting all of my one million decorations back into my parents' cars at the end of the night. They are the ultimate dream team, making dreams come true. I would highly recommend these ladies to everyone, they will make your life so much easier and will make you feel at ease during a stressful time. I can't imagine my day without them. We booked NoLo Weddings for our day of coordinator at Historic London Town. Nora was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was so organized and the day ran so smoothly. My mom cannot stop talking about how great Nora was and how she kept everything moving along like it needed to.

Nora came to our month out meeting at our venue as well as had a detailed questionnaire for us to fill out prior to the day of which we also went through together. She thought of every detail. I don't know how we would have done it without her! She is so sweet and would highly recommend her to anyone.

I 100% recommend working with NoLo for your event. Nora was absolutely wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to help with everything I needed. My fiance and I wanted to have fun without any worry on our wedding day and NoLo allowed us to do so. Nora was incredibly professional and made our wedding day go as smoothly as I could have ever imagined. She gave us great recommendations as far as vendors go. The month before our wedding she was very helpful and made sure all of our contracts were finalized and all of the fine details were taken care of. She reached out to all of our vendors individually and made sure that everyone was on the same page as far as how our wedding day was going to run. I absolutely loved working with Nora! She made my day amazing! It poured right before my outdoor ceremony at Smokey Glen Farms...the reception venue was flooded. And within 10 minutes, she put the crew to work to get the water out of the reception area and we only started the ceremony 5 minutes late! Meanwhile, I had no idea it was even flooded until the next day!! That's how amazing she made the reception area look. She made my day so amazing and I didn't have to worry about anything going wrong! I would definitely recommend Nora and Nolo Weddings and Events :)

NoLo made my wedding day absolutely perfect! During the planning process people kept telling me to "expect things to go wrong," and I really did prep myself for that. However with Nora's help I can honestly say that nothing went wrong. We got Month of Coordination service, but honestly Nora was helping me with vendor recommendations and small ideas throughout the entire engagement. Once we officially started our month I felt like I could hand the reigns over to her and let her make the magic happen and it did! My day ran like clockwork. Every vendor and shuttle was on-time, we flowed through pictures AND my husband and I were able to enjoy our cocktail hour and spend as much time as possible with our friends and family. Aside from the logistics being top notch, Nora understood the vision that my husband and I had for our reception. When I walked into our venue when it was all done, I literally started crying because everything was so perfect. Finally, our other vendors and our could not stop raving about how wonderful Nora was. We had a DJ company come down from Philadelphia for our wedding and they said that Nora was their saving grace in getting everything together and organized. My husband and I enjoyed planning our wedding, but if it was not for the month of coordination efforts of NoLo weddings and Nora herself, I know that our day would have been a 4 out of 10 instead of an 11 out of 10. I really cannot stress enough how thankful we are for their services.

I knew right when I met Lorinda with my sister-in-law that I wanted her to help me plan my special day. She was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. She really made sure that the day expressed exactly how my husband and I wanted it to. She made everything on our wedding day run so smoothly. There was a hiccup with transportation and she had it taken care of before my ceremony was even finished! My husband and I were able to enjoy our beautiful day with our friends and family knowing she was there to take care of anything. The other side of NoLo, Nora, helped out on our wedding day and she was amazing as well. Even my friends and family after the wedding were asking about my planner and commenting what a wonderful job she did. They both went above and beyond my expectations and I highly recommended BOTH Lorinda and Nora to anyone! You cannot go wrong with choosing NoLo Weddings + Events!

NoLo Weddings & Events provided day-of wedding coordination services for our wedding. Nora was our point of contact prior to the wedding. She's very warm and easy to work with, providing resources of her own to help my husband and I think about how we wanted certain things organized. We had our rehearsal dinner the night before and Nora came before the dinner to facilitate a rehearsal with our wedding party, which we really appreciated. On the day of the wedding Nora and Lorinda were amazing! My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything and everything went so smoothly. We definitely feel so thankful to have had them there to ensure we could enjoy every moment of our perfect day with their behind the scenes support. I was having trouble with my bustle and Nora came to the rescue sewing on a button that had fallen off! She was calm and assertive at the same time, great qualities and energy you need on your wedding day! Thank you again NoLo!

I was on the fence about whether or not we needed to hire a day-of coordinator for our wedding, but Nora proved her worth to me time and time again! She helped me come up with decor ideas for the reception venue as well as created a timeline for our wedding day and made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes! She was very responsive to all of my questions and met with me several times at the venue to go over details before the big day. We used NoLo Weddings & Events for day-of coordination, and they really beat all of our expectations that day. They both were extremely helpful with setup and keeping everyone on schedule. Nora came to our rehearsal dinner the night before to run through everything with the party. She even took the time to sew an emergency button for my wife's bustle during cocktail hour! Everything at the wedding was very easy for us, we didn't have to think about anything, which I think speaks to the quality of work that NoLo provides.

My husband and I debated whether or not we would need a day of coordinator in the months leading up to our wedding. After reading reviews on Wedding Wire we selected NoLo Wedding & Events. To say that we couldn't have done our wedding without Nora is not an understatement. Nora's attention to detail was impeccable! I am a bit of a perfectionist and she brought things to my attention prior to the wedding that I hadn't thought of before. She set up all of our personal items and captured our vision perfectly. During the event, she fielded questions from the vendors and addressed issues that arose--allowing my husband and I to enjoy our reception. And at the end of the reception, she personally delivered all of our personal items to our hotel room nearby. To quote my mother, "Nora was worth her weight in gold!" For anyone that is unsure whether or not they need a day of coordinator, please consider all of your hard work leading up to your event and ask yourself if you would also want to "work" your event. Nora will allow you to relax knowing your wedding day is in the hands of a professional!

Nora was extremely helpful during the planning for my daughter's wedding and during the ceremony and reception. She worked with us on some ideas for table decorations and assisted when we had difficulty with one of the other vendors. She and her partner did a lot of the set up for the reception and all of the cleanup and took care of many small details to make things perfect!

I absolutely recommend using NoLo Weddings & Events to help plan and execute your wedding! We used their "month-of" coordination service. Lorinda was our main contact and we were lucky to have Nora as the second coordinator on the day of the wedding. Lorinda was prompt to respond to emails, highly professional, and very pleasant to work with during the planning, night of the rehearsal, and day of. It was amazing to know that the wedding would go off without a hitch with Lorinda overseeing the logistics. Our wedding stayed on time and everything looked perfect! After the wedding, they took everything back to our hotel room so there was no clean up required by family members or the wedding party... this was amazing and something I had not even thought about before working with Lorinda. The only thing I would change was to book them for partial or full planning service instead of just the month of coordination because of how knowledgable and helpful Lorinda was! I would book this team again without hesitation and recommend you do so, too.

I booked Nora for day of coordination for my wedding. I thank God that I did! I have a hard time giving up control, but from the moment I met Nora I knew she was the person I wanted to entrust my special day with. She is responsive and organized. Nora was there for my rehearsal (the night before my wedding) she new exactly how to organize people and how everyone should go down the isle when I had no idea how it all it should be done. She also kept everyone in line when they were not paying attention. My venue was a DIY venue and I could not setup because my hair and makeup team were coming at 7am (my wedding started at 2pm). Nora also took all of my decorations the night of my rehearsal since I would not be able to take them the next day. I had mentioned that my mom did not iron my 25 table clothes for the wedding and that I didn't care if they were wrinkled. Nora texted me that night that she had ironed them all (without me asking). I was ecstatic and appreciative. My wedding started late, but she handled everything and adjusted to keep the timeline on track. She kept all the vendors on time and constantly communicated to them and to me throughout the event. At the end of the reception she cleaned up, packed all my decorations, the leftover alcohol, gifts and even put everything in my Mom's car! She truly went above and beyond and my day could have not been possible without her! She is amazing at what she does! You will not regret booking her. Thank you so much Nora!!

Hiring Nora for NoLo's full planning package was one of the first decisions we made about our wedding and also one of the best. Neither of us had any clue where to start with wedding planning, but Nora patiently walked us through every step, meeting about monthly with us over a period of more than a year. She was flexible, punctual, responsive, creative, patient... I could go on and on. On our wedding day we were 100% focused on enjoying the moment, without a single distraction related to the logistics of our wedding, because Nora had every single thing precisely planned and under control. It was no small feat because we had MANY vendors involved in our wedding, and we had also hired her to plan our post-wedding brunch the next morning. It's hard to put a price tag on peace of mind and the ability to fully experience your wedding day, but I definitely think NoLo's planning packages are an excellent value. It can seem like an overwhelming decision to choose a wedding planner (especially if you're looking for full planning) but you can't go wrong with NoLo!

Lorinda did a phenomenal job with our wedding. I feel like she had every curve ball thrown at her that day and she handled it great. Our beautiful beach wedding poured down rain and I made everyone stand outside in the rain so we could get married on the beach. Lorinda and her team made sure everything went smoothly and my groom and I got what we wanted for our wedding day... rain or shine. We even had a difficult wedding guest and NoLo did a fantastic job troubleshooting and taking care of the problem. We appreciate so much everything they did for us! We were definitely a difficult client and we would recommend them to anyone getting married!

I met Nora at one of my best friends weddings (Nora was her day-of-coordinator), and even though we had already hired her as our day-of-coordinator, I knew I made the right decision during my friends reception. I accidentally left my flip flops in the "getting ready" area in Peabody Library. So obviously, by the time the dancing was getting started, my feet were killing me after walking around Baltimore in 5 inch feels. Myself and another bridesmaid were told that the room had to be cleaned out and everything (including my flip flops) had to be taken back to the hotel. Just as I was about to head back to the hotel to get them, Nora came up to us with 2 pairs of flip flops and says, "I thought you guys might want these!" Since that moment, I knew Nora would be the best decision we made when hiring vendors. When it came time for our wedding day, she made the entire rehearsal and wedding day flow perfectly. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her and Lorinda! The bride and family has enough to worry about without having to set-up all of the decor, handle the gifts, packing everything up, etc. Nora did everything and more. It had rained every day the week leading up to my wedding day, and my ceremony was outdoors. My photographer had us in the grass and the next thing I knew, I looked down and saw a giant mud stain on the front of my gown. I had to stop myself from freaking out and Nora came and continuously reassured me that she would get it out. And 5 minutes later, with a lot of club soda, the stain came out! I almost cried with gratitude! She was there anytime we (or anyone) needed anything. The one piece of advice I would have for any bride, if they are not already hiring a wedding planner, is to hire a day-of-coordinator. Nora was invaluable and I could not recommend her and Lorinda enough!

As the parents of the bride we were relucant to get a day planner for the wedding, feeling that we could handle things. Now that the wedding is over, we couldn't have been happier that we did hire NoLo. Every detail was taken care of by Nora before, during and after the wedding. She had many meetings with us, had all of the contracts, and contacts and handled everything beautifully. At some of the meetings Nora gave us ideas/suggestions that we weren't even thinking about. She was also there to help with any vendor suggestions. Even my daughter's gown getting soiled right before the ceremony was not a problem for Nora. She calmly assured us that the stain could and would be removed and somehow performed the miracle of removing the stain. Everything was set up beyond our expectations, things flowed smoothly during the wedding, and the removal and repacking of items was fast and efficient. I highly recommend NoLo, if you are planning a wedding or event. They are very professional, personal and definitely are worth their weight in gold. I can never thank them enough for making my daughter (and son-in-law's) day so special.

We hired Nolo as a day of coordinator and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made for our wedding! We worked with Nora who was absolutely amazing! From our very first meeting to 11pm the night of the wedding everything was taken care of! We had been to weddings where the wedding party and immediately family set up prior to the wedding and have to stay after to tear everything down. We said from the very beginning of our planning process that it was important to us that our guests, family, and friends actually enjoy the day and relax instead of being put to work. Nora made sure that is exactly what happened. Nora and I had emailed multiple times leading up to the wedding about how we wanted things set up and how the day would run. When we got to the rehearsal Nora was already there and helping to get things in order for us. The morning of our wedding Nora sent me a text to say when she would be arriving at the venue and that everything would be ready for us! Nolo set up the entire venue from lawn games for cocktail hour, escort cards, table centerpieces, guest gifts, and tent decorations. Everything was done exactly as we had talked about without me ever checking. At 11pm when the last shuttle arrived Nora already had everything packed and ready so that we could simply get on the shuttle and leave with our guests. I never heard of any problems, concerns, or questions. Nora handled absolutely everything! We couldn’t have asked for more and were so impressed! We would highly recommend Nolo to future couples.

Although I have not had my wedding yet, I just HAVE to rave about NoLo Weddings & Events. I am doing a partial planning package with them and they have already been so helpful and my wedding isn't until next year. Lorinda was able to help me find a MUCH better photographer in my price range after I called very insecure to confront her that I hadn't been honest with myself and I hated the work oh the previous photographer we had signed a contract for. I really did not want to take my engagement photos or wedding pictures with the prior photographer but they were in our price range. Leave it to Lorinda, to recommend the most awesome photographer ever and in our price range. I am so happy with the work that my engagement photos are already on our stairwell walls.

NoLo has always been prompt to the meetings requested so far for my big day coming up next year. Not only have these ladies help ease tension or issues I have been facing, but has helped ease the stress of my Mom as well.

So far we have picked some very elegant table settings that are within my price range. NoLo has really helped me select a talented group of other wedding vendors for my big day (photographer, florist, cake etc.). NoLo has really understood my idea of an antique/vintage wedding.

We used NoLo (Nora) for Day-of-Coordination for our fall 2015 wedding and it was quite possibly one of the best vendor decisions we made. We were originally on the fence about hiring a DOC, because that our venue provided a "coordinator" as a part of our package. We very quickly learned that a venue coordinator is not the same as DOC, and having Nora there to execute our vision gave us peace of mind. One of many fantastic things that stands out about Nora is her ability to quickly think on her feet. In our " one month out" meeting, I mentioned to her that we wanted to play the shoe game at our reception. Fast forward to the wedding day and I was ready to cancel that portion of the reception because I did not have time to research any questions beforehand. Knowing how much we were looking forward to playing the game, Nora researched questions on the spot and gave them to the DJ so that we were able to move forward with our original plan of playing the shoe game. This ended up being one of our favorite parts of the reception & I'm thankful to Nora for her quick thinking. NoLo was completely amazing. Lorinda was so easy to work with- and I think what made me so comfortable working with her is that she and I think/organize in a similar way! She has so much experience wedding planning that some of the questions she asked me leading up to the big day, I was like wow, I would have never thought of that! From our first meeting/consultation, to the end of the wedding, she was amazing. We hired NoLo for their day of coordination package. Since we wanted a wedding in our own backyard, hiring NoLo took a lot of the stress off! She met with us in the weeks prior to the wedding, collected any vendor contracts that I had, and made sure that everything was delivered and each vendor provided the service they were supposed to. Also, she ran our rehearsal, which was amazing. It was nice and quick, and we were off after that to enjoy dinner with family and friends. She and her assistants showed up to our home and set up all the linens, centerpieces, décor, etc. She made sure that everything that I wanted to happen did. Her timeline that she sent to each vendor really helped the day go as smooth as possible- she even had time to watch the weather and alerted our photographer to when we could actually step outside the tent to get some great pictures. At the end of the reception, she and her assistants cleaned up all of my décor and linens and made sure that everything ended up where I specified. I honestly don't think my wedding would have been pulled off without her. She was an integral part of my day since I wasn't even at my house getting ready that morning! Thank you so much Lorinda!! :)

Early on in my planning process, someone told me their only advice was to hire a Day of Coordinator... so I did, and quickly realized that had been the best advice I received! I worked with Lorinda, and she was absolutely amazing. I had a weekend wedding at a summer camp, just in time for Hurricane Joaquin. A LOT of what I had planned needed to be changed on the fly, and I can't imagine what I would have done without Lorinda. She quickly answered a million of my questions, coordinated with my vendors, worked on multiple weather plans, and so much more. Most importantly, she kept me calm on the day of the wedding... despite the crazy weather. I just knew it would all work out, and it did! Lorinda ran around like a little magician all day long and made sure everything was perfect. It relieved so much stress on my end, and I couldn't be more happy about my decision to go with NoLo. What can I say that hasn't already been said about NoLo?! Listen to all these reviews and just book them already!!

I was an EXTREMELY detail-oriented and attentive bride, and even I would not have survived without a wedding planner. Nora was there for a seamless hand-off about a month out, after I had arranged all my vendors. For those brides that want a more hands-on approach, I can't recommend this enough. As soon as I got busy with other life events leading up to the wedding, Nora took over all communications with my vendors and I didn't have to worry about a thing. If she was unsure of anything, she would always check back in with me.

Fast-forward to the day of: you will NOT enjoy your wedding as much without a planner like NoLo, believe me! You and your families should relax and savor every minute of what will inevitably be a hectic day, and concentrate on getting ready, thinking about the commitment you're making, going over your vows, exchanging presents with your wedding party, spending time with your parents, etc.! Leave the logistics, decorating, and troubleshooting all to NoLo!! They handled everything completely flawlessly, and even added some unexpected lovely touches because they have a great sense for aesthetics and what looks good at the wedding. They're also experts at hanging lanterns. ;)

When it comes time for take-down, Nora and Lorinda will make sure every guest is happy and every important gift (or card with cash!) is stashed safely with someone so that, again, you can go on your honeymoon or to your after-party and not have to worry about it.

At first I thought planners were just part of the crazy Wedding Industrial Complex. Trust me, now I know better. If I could do it again, I would pay a lot more than these ladies charge for what they ultimately gave me -- peace of mind, and a phenomenal, enjoyable wedding day for all involved.

I 100% recommend working with Lorinda and Nora for your event. They were not only easy, but fun to work with. If you are thinking of whether or not to hire a planner, my personal opinion is that if it's in your budget, definitely get a planner. I regretted only hiring NoLo for Day-of services , as I know they would have been so helpful and beneficial to the wedding planning. But Lorinda was available throughout my planning to answer any questions I had along the way.

Our wedding day, they took care of everything, and I was so happy not to have to worry about anything. At the end of the night they packed up all our things neatly and put them in our hotel room for us (hotel was the wedding venue). They worked well with our vendors and did all the coordination on our wedding day. Don’t think I could have managed the day without them!

I worked with Lorinda as my day-of coordinator, but both girls came and helped with my wedding- so a huge thanks and shoutout to both Lorinda and Nora! These two made sure my day flowed perfectly. I was constantly updated on timelines, and asked what I needed all through the night. They are both so sweet and comforting, and they are a godsend for putting up with my crazy family! Prior to the wedding I had a meeting with both girls at the venue and they were so professional and excited- they put my worries at ease! I was able to give them all of the decorations and trust them with setting everything up. They even cleared it all out at the end of the wedding and I picked it up a few days later. The whole process was flawless and so worth the money for the peace of mind! Since setup was only an hour and a half, they helped out majorly! Working with NoLo Weddings and Events was an absolute dream come true. Nora and Lorinda were incredibly professional, responded quickly to any/all questions that I had throughout my wedding planning, and attended several meetings with various vendors with me. Their organizational skills were top notch; our wedding rehearsal and reception ran according to the schedule. While I contracted Nolo for its day of coordination services, the services really begun the moment I contacted them, which was well over a month prior to the wedding. Nora was very responsive to my constant emails. Even with the most ridiculous questions, she would patiently address them. On the day of the wedding, Nora was on top of everything. I spent almost 95% of my time that morning getting ready in the bridal suite, as I knew that I could trust Nora with all the decoration details. I was right and the decoration was absolutely flawless. She was also on top of the schedule, made sure everyone was in the right position, fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle, and helped organize all the leftover stuff. My wedding was perfect and I have Nolo to thank for that.

A wedding planner?! I didn't need that. I could definitely do this all by myself! WRONG. You NEED NoLo! I considered myself more of a "laid back" bride as we had a more intimate wedding. I found that no matter how big or how small your wedding is, you ultimately want it to go just as you had imagined and I can't stress enough how nice it was to have these two ladies as coordinators. My husband mentioned numerous times the day after the wedding how wonderful they were and I was SO thankful to have found them. Several of my girlfriends wrote down their names to use them as they look to plan their weddings in the next year. I did most of my wedding planning on my own while juggling a million other things and a few months before the wedding I found myself drowning in to do lists and worrying about the organization of our ceremony with our crazy family (including 4 kids under the age of 7)! NoLo stepped in, put my mind at ease and made sure our rehearsal and ceremony went seamlessly. Everything was set up beautifully and better than I could have imagined. I'm honestly afraid of what it would have been like without them. Thanks for playing a key role in making our wedding day perfect. You two are THE best. If you're looking to plan the perfect day big or small, away or at home, book NoLo. You'll spend 5 x the amount on your own if you try to do all of those little things yourself - take it from me! I can't imagine my wedding day without Nora and Lorinda - they were truly incredible. Because of their presence and hard work on our behalf, I was able to focus on my husband, my guests and enjoying myself without worrying about the logistics and timing of everything. From when we first arrived to final break down they were totally on top of everything.

Having a person to hand something off to and to problem solve was just the best. They were so responsive to everything that we asked not only day of, but also in the months leading up to the wedding. Lorinda was always quick to respond to emails, which I always appreciate. And I left the month out meeting with weight lifted from my shoulders - before the walkthrough with NoLo I was stressed out about details and event flow, afterwards I was confident that my event was in capable hands. They said they would take care of everything and they delivered.

Nora and Lorinda also managed our rehearsal the day before. A friend was our officiant, but having never done this before he didn't know how to run a rehearsal. Nora and Lorinda had everyone lined up and managed in no time. They were efficient at wrangling the wedding party and parents to get us through the rehearsal in no time.

I have told all my engaged friends that hands down the best decision we made in wedding planning was hiring a DOC. And I have told all my engaged friends in DC to contact NoLo. They are amazing!!

I wish I could give Lorinda and Nora of NoLo Events 10 stars! That is the type of quality you can expect from these two professionals.

My husband and I hired Day Of Coordinators because we had a large guest count and wanted to ensure our night ran smoothly and without delay.

Lorinda & Nora went beyond our expectations from having our back when other vendors tried to overstep our wishes, to adhereing to our timeline and making sure everything we wanted to accomplish was accomplished. My husband handed them a box of all our decor/signs etc (he forgot to put the instructions on where everything needed to be placed) and without instruction they placed EVERYTHING out perfectly.

From the beginning the kept the lines of communication up and I never had to worry about getting in touch or receiving necessary information. During the wedding planning process it is amazing how many vendors I would struggle with to get information from and mere questions answered.

NoLo allowed my fiance and I to do the one most important thing on our wedding day HAVE FUN WITHOUT WORRY.

Nora & Lorinda, you guys are amazing. The care and concern that you handle you clients with is outstanding. I am SO thankful that we found NoLo to help us with Ally's wedding day. Truly, I am not sure what I would have done without you. Everything was perfect from start to finish. It was like you were reading my mind. My husband and I were not sure that we were going to use a coordinator as we were comfortable planning the wedding ourselves. About a month before our date I started to get nervous about not having anyone there day of who knew about all of the details of the day as well as we did. I emailed Lorinda and she was great. She and Nora met with us at our venue, took detailed notes about everything we went over and promptly responded to all of my emails. They were at the wedding from the time we arrived until the last guest left. Nora and Lorinda made sure everything ran smoothly and we heard from our friends who were MCing that they never had to worry about when to make announcements because Nora and Lorinda made sure they knew when to go on. I was also pleased that they were able to go with the flow when it made sense for things to move at a different speed than we'd originally discussed. I would highly recommend them and my mother even took them around at the reception to introduce them to some friends who are currently planning their own weddings. Also, NOLO is a great value for the price!

My friend recommended that I use NoLo after I attended her beautiful wedding in DC that they had done day-of planning for.
I had a meeting with another event planner but the personalities of Lorinda and Nora won me over. It turns out it was the best decision I made for my wedding.
Lorinda was in touch with me from the beginning, thanking me for the random emails I would send to her with updated vendor information or mundane details.
But it was the wedding itself that they saved. NoLo showed up to the venue earlier than I had asked and began setting up without any prompting from me. They were so well versed with the details I had gone over with them that I didn't need to direct them to do anything, they took it upon themselves to set up whatever they could, including my ENTIRE reception space.
Unfortunately the catering company I chose did not live up to anyone's expectations and created a massive timing and morale problem at my wedding. They were supposed to set up the reception and did not. They were also 30 mins late with dinner and the set up was so poor it took almost an hour for guests to get through the buffet. I was panicked and upset and NoLo stepped in and took care of it all. They handled the caterer, kept me informed and stayed so CALM it helped to keep me calm and enjoy my day.
Lorinda and Nora are awesome, my future in-laws praised them throughout the wedding and for days after and my husband and I were thrilled with their services. Use them! They are wonderful!

NoLo was on the money when it came to day of wedding planning. I am a DJ and they were on top of everything including assisting vendors so that they could do their job better. I would recommend them to any bride!!!!

Thanks to these two amazing ladies, Nora and Lorinda, our day came together beautifully. They are young but very professional and very knowledgeable. We only used NOLO for a "day of planning" and I have to say that this was the best decision I made throughout the planning process. They were always on time always ready to take over anything I asked them to. I WOULD HAVE BEEN A REAL MESS WITHOUT YOU. I wish the girls all the best in their business and future.

Lorinda was AMAZING. She came in to help last minute and completely understood my vision about a week before my wedding. Originally, I was going to go to the venue the morning of (because we had to do most of the setting up ourselves), but because of Lorinda, I felt comfortable enough to relax the day of and give her control of everything. She kept everything running smoothly (both during the rehearsal & the day-of). She was so organized and knew all the right questions to ask; questions I hadn't even thought of! Use NoLo - you won't regret it!

I recommend NOLO very highly. There were a lot of details that required a lot of attention the day of our wedding, and because of Nora and Lorinda, everything ran smoothly. Before I met with the girls, I really had no idea how everything was going to happen -- you can buy the sparklers, but if you don't have capable people to make sure everyone lines up and lights them quickly, they're useless, and you can have buses to take your guests from the ceremony to reception, but if you don't have someone to make sure your guests know and know where and know how, then the buses are unfilled and your guests are late. They made sure everything went off without a hitch. They know what to ask, know what to watch out for, and know how to get things done -- and they're really sweet. NoLo did an amazing job providing day-of coordination at my wedding. During our meeting with them to review what we had wanted they were incredibly thorough and helped my groom and I work out some things we hadn't even considered.

During the actual day, I was so impressed. Our setup was intense and when I arrived I was blown away. I will never understand how they managed to accomplish it all down to the last detail, but everything was perfect. And throughout the night they were there to help solve problems, make sure our guests walked out with favors, and even kept our glasses full! They were incredibly affordable to boot! Highly recommended!

NoLo Events did a great job as my day-of-coordinators on my wedding. My entire wedding party really enjoyed working with them. They also went above and beyond to ensure the "little things" were in place. I had the perfect wedding weekend and I owe much of that to NoLo Events who took care of all the details so I could enjoy my family & friends. I absolutely recommend NoLo Events to any bride who wants to leave the stress to someone else. Hire NoLo, you won't be dissappointed!

I deejayed a wedding that they worked as day-of-planners. I had an amazing experience working with Nolo Weddings & Events. They were extremely professional and on top of everything. As we all know, weddings have little obstacles that are out of our control. Nolo made sure these obstacles never presented themselves. Best-in-class all the way through. Nora and Lorinda were my wedding day saviors. I tried to be pretty proactive and on top of my planning but since I’m no professional, of course some details slipped my mind. NoLo had those details covered! I planned my wedding from 1000 miles away so having Nora and Lorinda was a true lifesaver. They were incredibly responsive to emails which helped my peace of mind so much! They asked questions about things I hadn’t thought of but that would have been bad to miss. My biggest planning concern and the main motivation behind hiring coordinators was that we used the same space for our ceremony and reception and we needed someone to set up the reception while we took pictures. I gave NoLo a picture of my centerpieces and they ran with it. The ballroom looked even more amazing than it had in my head and everything was set PERFECTLY! I’ve heard that no wedding goes without a hitch. But, from my viewpoint, ours did because if there were any little issues that came up Lorinda and Nora handled it without having to involve me. Every time I thought of something I needed or something that needed to be done, I’d go up to them and ask. Every time though, it was already done and handled. I couldn’t believe how on top of everything they were. It helped me be completely stress-free, and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my wedding day because I wasn’t having to deal with little things. Nora and Lorinda are incredibly professional as well and so kind! My family and friends since our wedding have commented on how nice they both were to everyone and how they always looked in control. I am so happy I hired them to be a part of our special day!

Where do I even start????? My wedding day would have been lost without Nora and Lorinda! They were incredible!!! I hired them for the day of since I am a meeting planner by day, I handled the planning myself. We corresponded through email and they always had a prompt reply to help me with my planning. We met the week before the wedding and they came with their big file on my day in head. It was refreshing to work with someone as organized as myself. From the moment I met them, all my worries melted away. They ran the rehearsal for me always having amazing ideas how to make things just a little bit better or smoother. I am not very well versed in wedding traditions and they knew everything I asked! The day of the wedding was perfect. I kept trying to help set up and they kept shooing me away, they had everything under control. There were soooooooo many little things that went wrong that I had no idea about initially because Nora and Lorinda took care of EVERYTHING! They kept me on my timeline, but we flexible when we weren't quite ready to do things. I can't stress enough how I could NOT have done this without them. No chance!!!!!! You get your bang for your buck with these girls, they truly went above and beyond, resetting chairs, setting up tables, you name it! They will do anything to see you have a perfect wedding day and that level of caring is hard to find! I will reccommend NOLO to any friends I have that are getting married, cause you should not do it without them!

We used Lorinda and Nora's day-of planning services and it truly was the best decision we made in our wedding. They made sure EVERY detail was planned and executed exactly the way we wanted it! They gave us several new ideas and brought up some aspects in the planning that we definitely would have overlooked without them. They were probably the only people that could keep order of our 10 bridesmaids and 9 loud and inattentive groomsmen. I am such a control freak, and was actually able to let go and have a ton of fun on my wedding because I trusted them. They stayed for my entire wedding and were very accessible and ready for anything that I asked for. They were always so willing to go above and beyond to help with whatever necessary.

Having them a part of our big day made everything so much easier. I can say after all the time, energy, and money you put into making sure your day is everything you want--having reliable day-of planners make all the difference to making your day a success. We had so much fun and so did our guests, which was something very important to us. Our wedding day had a somewhat unusual schedule, but Lorinda and Nora made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at any given time (and kept all other vendors on the same page!) The girls from NoLo Wedding & Events were wonderful. Initially, I wasnt going to hire anyone to coordinate due to my budget but then realized that it would be best to have one for the "day of". I received an advertisement email from NoLo and decided to give them a call. I'm happy I did. I initially met with Nora and Lorinda and thought that they had a wonderful personality and they knew what they were talking about. I decided that I did want to contract them for the "day of". Their wedding packages are very reasonable.

I dealt with them via email for the most part, Nora was very responsive to emails. We met two more times before the wedding. Nora came to look at the sites prior to the day of which was great so she had an idea of what the places looked like and she provided tips on how to decorate it.

Nora and Lorinda both were present at our reception, things ran smoothly. If any issues did arise, I let them know and they made sure that the problem/issue was resolved. I'm so glad I hired them because it made my day stress-free. They made sure all the details (decorations, timeline, food) of our cocktail and reception were put together right. Everything looked beautiful with the help of NoLo Wedding & Events. :)

Nora and Lorinda were amazing! I decided to get a day-of coordinator about a month before my wedding and not only were Nora and Lorinda the most helpful, they were also the most affordable. I was able to sit back on the day of the wedding because they took care of any of the details that needed handling. Whenever a situation arose, they were right on top of it. Because of them, my wedding ran so smoothly and I was never stressed out. My only regret is that I didn't contact them sooner!

Nora and Lorinda are amazing. I was very impressed with the pair from the minute I met them. I think they are well equipped for the wedding planning business given their experience and day jobs in general event planning business. They came to each meeting armed with lists and tools to help me in organizing the wedding. My wedding would have been a challenge, putting it mildly, for any planning team. My fiancée is Nigerian, my family loves tradition and we had 2 receptions. Each situation added its own set of obstacles but Nora and Lorinda were not phased by any of it. They jumped right in to help out, researched the traditions and offered amazingly helpful suggestions. On the day of the wedding and the rehearsal Nora and Lorinda helped out in a million ways including running my rehearsal. They were everywhere I needed them to be and everywhere I could not be. There were my eyes, ears and willing bodies for the day and I cannot imagine doing the wedding without them. Thanks ladies for helping to make my wedding day so special!

Lorinda and Nora really made my day so stress free! From the beginning of my planning process, they returned my emails and phone calls very quickly.There were a lot of little details that I never thought of that they handled when thrown at them the last minute very efficiently. They took my centerpieces and other decor over to the venue the day of. They got with my DJ and Venue to make sure different events were timed out right (ie. cake cutting, garter toss) and solved different problems without me ever even knowing about them. I don't know what I would've done with out them. I definitely recommend hiring them for at the very least a day of coordinator!

I can not speak highly enough of Lorinda and Nora. From the first email, about 20 days before the event to the day of, these ladies were nothing less than exceptional. We planned from Arizona, so we didn't meet them face to face until Sunday before the wedding. On the day of the wedding you would have NEVER known that they had just met us and gotten all of the arrangements. They made everything incredibly easy. From transporting everything to the reception site, to getting umbrellas for the inclement weather, to operating the IPad at the ceremony, to completely setting up the reception! They had every detail in place! They were just wonderful!

My husband and I are so happy that we selected NoLo Weddings & Events as our day of coordinator. We worked closely with Nora, who was phenomenal. She was always so responsive, easy to talk to and extremely helpful along the way. She was much more than a day-of coordinator! My husband and I did a first look before the ceremony out on the Baltimore Inner Harbor and my veil blew off into the water. We didn't ruin our day at all, and Nora gave us laugh by running out with a broom offering to get it out of the water! I don't think many planners would offer services like that! I highly recommend NoLo to all brides out there searching for a wedding coordinator/planner.

I hired Nora of NoLo Weddings as my month-of coordinator. Her company was recommended to me by a friend in the wedding business, and she did not disappoint! From the very beginning, before I had even decided on a wedding venue or decided if I was going to hire her, she was very responsive and helpful in brainstorming ideas and sharing useful resources with me. Once I chose to hire her, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. It was such a relief to know that the final details of the wedding would be off my plate. As my month-of coordinator, I had unlimited access to her via email throughout the whole planning process, and then the month before the wedding, she was to take my contracts over and become the contact person for all the vendors. I will say that I still felt like I was taking care of several details myself during the last month, but that may be because I am a bit of a control freak. Even so, it was still helpful to have her input on the last minute changes and decisions via CC on email with my vendors. It was also extremely helpful to hand off the bulk of my decor items to her prior to the wedding, so that she could bring them in her car. As for the wedding weekend itself, her services were INVALUABLE. She ran my wedding rehearsal, put up ALL the reception decor and brought my vision to life, managed the flow of the ceremony and reception, and broke everything down and packed it all up at the end of the night. I seriously don't know how I would have done it without her. She is extremely reliable, professional, and fun to work with! Highly recommend her and her business partner, Lorinda.

We would recommend NoLo Weddings and Events to anyone. They were extremely helpful, professional, and responsive to all our needs and concerns. Our situation was unique in that we were planning a wedding long distance. We live in Japan where my husband is stationed, he is in the Marine Corps and is often away on exercises or deployments. Because I am Japanese, I was not very familiar with the area we wanted to hold our wedding. We tried planning the wedding on our own, but very quickly discovered that we needed help. NoLo was exactly what we needed. We selected the planning option where we would have someone available to help plan the whole wedding for us and Lorinda was there with us through every step of the process. She helped us select the right church, the reception venue, and all the vendors (photographers, dj, flowers, etc). She kept in constant contact with us and built up a relationship with us so that we had a lot of trust and confidence in the recommendations she made and everything paid off. The photographers were excellent (a husband and wife team that were great to work with) the DJ was very friendly and made everything run smoothly, the flowers looked wonderful, the food was great, everything was wonderful. She also made sure to get little details right such as incorporating certain parts of Japanese culture that I wanted to include in our wedding.

The best part of it all was that having Lorinda allowed my husband and me to relax and focus on each other and enjoying the moment much more than we ever could have if we had tried to plan everything ourselves. On the day of the wedding we had both Lorinda and Nora there to focus on catching all the last minute details and arrangements so that we could enjoy ourselves as much as possible. We would highly recommend NoLo Weddings and Events to anyone trying to plan their wedding.
