Best day ever!

My daughter and I went back and forth about whether she wanted a DJ or a live band. Well, she's a very talented musician and felt like the variety would be better with a DJ. I talked her into hiring Nola Dukes and we were blown away! Not just by the talent but the professionalism, the communication, and the variety of music! They checked off all of the boxes. Ceremony music, first dances, second line, keeping the floor packed, and everything in between!

Do yourself a favor, hire the band!

Best part of the night - besides getting married

The band made the night. They were absolutely fantastic. Each musician was super talented, and they kept all our guests on the dance floor all night. Over two weeks have passed since the wedding, and I still have at least one person a day tell me how great the band was.

We also used them for ceremony music, and they did a wonderful job. As we prepped for the big day, we worked with Bryant. He was patient, professional, and incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend Nola Dukes Band enough.

Best New Orleans Wedding Band

We cannot recommend Nola Dukes enough! They were absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Randi was communicating with me from day one and their portal was so convenient to add services and input information. They helped pick music and plan the timing of the whole night! Their performance on our wedding day was spectacular! They had everyone on the dance floor and kept the reception lively all night. We are still getting compliments about our band from guests three weeks later!! Couldn’t have asked for a better band experience!

NOLA Dukes electrified the dance floor + made our wedding UNFORGETTABLE!

We had NOLA Dukes perform at our wedding in the Brennan’s Courtyard in December 2025. Randi worked so easily with us and our planner, and her professionalism, responsiveness, and friendliness put us completely at ease. She thoroughly went through all our desired details in advance through emails, phone calls, and the use of their portal (super helpful!). We were able to generate a playlist of our favorites as well as mix in the strengths of the band. They coordinated special song arrangements alongside the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra for our ceremony, which made the music feel personalized, emotional, and unforgettable. For the reception, NOLA Dukes brought unbelievable energy and talent. They played well with the crowd, mixed up the momentum, while keeping a great vibe throughout the night. The sound and lighting were perfect, the MC services kept everything flowing all night. All of our guests raved about the music and style Nola Dukes provided! Highly recommended for any wedding or event!!!

Randi and her team are PHENOMENAL!! They are the BEST wedding band in New Orleans!! They are extremely professional, dedicated, and care about giving the best music experience at the wedding! Randi is a superstar, and will surely make your wedding as memorable as possible.

The absolute best!

Nola Dukes Band is the absolute best!! They really went above and beyond helping me out. I worked with them initially to do a full band reception and a smaller ceremony trio and ended up calling off my wedding (the wedding not the marriage.) We eloped with 7 people instead and Nola Dukes was able to set me up with an incredible jazz trio for it. They even found me a banjo player! The night was fantastic, the band was incredible, they played our requested songs (even a jazz rendition of a Blondie tune for my hubs), and even did a request for my mother-in-law that brought her back to her youth and had us all dancing. I honestly cannot recommend them enough.

NOLA DUKES BAND!!!! The best wedding band ever! Super talented, great song mix, fun to work with, would recommend highly!

Played at my daughter’s wedding reception in October. The band was absolutely TERRIFIC!!! All of the musicians were SUPER talented but the vocalists, Colleen and her partner, were especially OUTSTANDING!!
The band really helped make the event extra special and we received rave reviews from our family and friends. The band really helped set the vibe and tempo for the whole evening. Thank you for a great performance! Would HIGHLY recommend the NOLA Dukes to anyone looking for a top notch band for their special event.
I also want to add that we enjoyed working with Randi during the whole booking and planning process. She is personable, well
organized and responsive and covered every detail. Made sure that the process was smooth and everything came off without a hitch!!

Amazing Performance!

The Nola Dukes were absolutely incredible at our wedding! Randi was amazing, both as the lead singer and as the person who organized everything. She was responsive, professional, and made the entire process so easy.

Amazing band!

Hired Nola Dukes for my daughter’s wedding would highly recommend. Band manager (Randi) was excellent, very informative, communicative and guided us through the music selection. Band was fabulous, fun, engaging with the guests and everyone was dancing. Numerous guests commented how much they loved the band and the lead singer. Researched different bands, Nola Dukes was definitely one of the more affordable options.

Nola Dukes made our wedding the event of the century!

The best choice we made out of the thousands of overwhelming choices when planning a New Orleans wedding was hiring the Nola Dukes. We got multiple texts the next day to the effect “Your band was SO insane.” They brought the big Nola sound, some modern hits, and most importantly, kept guests so engaged on the dance floor. Randi and her team are consummate professionals on the back end: responsive and ran the day so seamlessly. I can’t thank them enough for their incredible job. They were flawless.

Unforgettable and Unmatched.

We booked the Nola Dukes Band to perform at our daughter's wedding and WOW, they delivered! We went with the 9-piece band, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions we made.

From starting with cocktail music that set the perfect mood to dance-floor-packing sets, they kept the party alive for the full four-hour celebration. Guests are still raving about the band!

The entire experience from booking to the 2nd line that closed out the party was flawless. Randi's professionalism and talent is only overshadowed by her stage presence! The genuine joy they brought to our special day exceeded every expectation.

We love the nola dukes!

Incredibly easy to work with! Fun to talk with Randi... she made it all so easy! From understanding the set up of the band (number of players, instruments, needs for the venue) to talking about song choices, to ensuring the dance numbers for the bride and father and groom and mother were perfect, working with Nola Dukes was a joy! They are a FANATASTIC PERFORMANCE BAND... great instrumentalists, wonderful vocalists, and fun Fun FUN!!! Everyone had a blast, and, as the mother of the bride, I was so happy we made the right choice for our daughter's New Orleans wedding. You cannot find a better choice! WE LOVE THE NOLA DUKES!!

Exceptional Band

You will not be disappointed!

I don't even know where to begin. Bryant was amazing to work with; friendly, detail oriented, great communication and just overall super helpful! The harpist they provided during the ceremony did a beautiful job....the trio they provided for dinner were fantastic...then there was the band! They were so energetic, so fun, had the party going nonstop...they even let our friend (professional musician out of Fort Worth) get up and jam with them. Seriously, could not have asked and wished for more. They truly made our wedding so special.

Helped make our perfect day even more perfect!

We used the NOLA Dukes Band for our ENTIRE wedding and it was the best choice we could have made! Randi was super easy to talk to and extremely helpful. There's a planning page to keep track of everything as you go AND they have super helpful add-ons (mics, sound, DJ services, lighting).

We had a string trio for our ceremony - they were phenomenal, professional, and had a great list of songs to choose from.

We had a jazz trio for our cocktail hour- they were so fun and the perfect NOLA flair.

We had the 9-piece band for the whole dinner/reception and they were AMAZING! From our intro, to helping with speeches, to the music they chose and the ENERGY! WOW! People LOVED them. I saw so many folks during dinner just recording. Also- we had little kids there and the band was so good with them.

And here's the quote from the next day: "You know it was a good band when EVERYONE is out on the dance floor"

Highly, highly recommend the NOLA Dukes! Their recordings don't even do them justice.

NOLA Dukes Raised the Roof!

NOLA Dukes performed at our wedding on 12/2/23 at the New Orleans Museum of Art and exceeded our expectations at every moment. They coordinated the sound for our ceremony, coordinated a jazz trio to play cocktail hour and entertained our guests throughout the reception. From the first moment we met, Randi was so responsive, clear and asked lots of questions and was always willing to share her expertise. Finding a great band was a top priority for us and we greatly appreciated being able to see them perform live during one of their showcases in order to inform our decision. Their showcase validated everything we had heard about what incredible performers they are and the incredible range of music they can perform. The band learned an unknown song the week of the wedding to play for the mother-son dance which meant so much to my mother-in-law. In addition, Randi was meant to sing the hora- everyone was in awe and couldn't help but join in the dancing. Overall, I can't emphasize enough how much we would recommend NOLA Dukes to anyone looking to ensure your guests are raving about the band for days!

Nola dukes is awesome!

We had Nola Dukes for our wedding, 11/11/23, and they were GREAT!!! The band sounded amazing and they were so much fun. The music selection for the night was incredible and our dance floor was PACKED the entire night. Our guests loved them and everyone had only positive things to say. We worked with Randi from start to finish and she was great to work with. The entire process from start to finish was very smooth and easy. Nola Dukes took care of our ceremony sound, played piano during the ceremony, live band, live first dance song and a live DJ at the end- all that to say, they were essential for our big day and they were incredible. For so many moving parts, NDB did a great job and made it EASY! 10/10 for Nola Dukes Band and Randi!!

Highlight of our wedding!

This band is a 10/10!!! We did not want any cheesy wedding songs or pop music, so we were thrilled when they came with all the classics! People spent so much time on the dance floor, they barely had a chance to eat!! Randi was so great to work with and was able to accommodate special requests for our ceremony music and first dance. We LOVED the NOLA Dukes. We hired the 7-piece band for our reception and also had the band facilitate the sound and recorded music for the ceremony, and everything was flawless. We felt so seen throughout the planning process and the attention to detail and organization was amazing. The band, comprised of incredibly talented and quality musicians, played the perfect mix of music and were such kind people. Professional and talented

This is the band you want for your wedding or other special event. They are so talented and clearly love what they do. The music was outstanding - we got compliments from guests all night about it - and the music is very customizable. Bryant worked with us weeks and months beforehand to ensure we had certain songs played, certain songs avoided, and music style suited to our liking - including my request to fill their (short) set breaks with Bollywood music. They handled special requests with ease, including a two song combo first dance and a one live song / one DJ played song combo for the father daughter dance. At one point I wanted to sing to my new husband, so I did, totally unplanned. The singer joyfully gave me the mic, which I thought was so sweet and generous of her because it was an unplanned moment and the band did not know I could sing. On rewatch of the video, the band actually did several things musically to help me out! They slowed down the second verse to give my groom time to get on stage for me to continue singing to him. They truly used their talent for improvisation and adaptation musically to make the night special for the two of us. We were incredibly lucky to work with these super talents, not just for their musical ability but also for their kindness, respect, and humility. They do a great job of hyping up the couple and the families without upstaging the event, too, which is a tricky balance to hit well for many wedding bands / DJs. I love that they played Nola staples that me and the groom knew well, but that the guests did not, and upon realizing this, the singer effortlessly taught the audience the chorus so we would not have that pressure. Could not thank them enough for their attentiveness and care. Book them for your ceremony music too. The singer and guitarist were outstanding and added so much positive emotion to my walk to my groom. THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience from start to finish

Jon and Nola Dukes were an absolute dream to work with. We went with the 8 piece band, ceremony music (piano) and ceremony sound. Their online system made everything very straightforward and easy to see what services were offered and clear pricing. Jon was always available to answer questions through email or through phone meetings. They truly made my wedding night. The venue owner was so impressed they kept the dance floor packed truly all night that she asked for their info to recommend to other couples. I received nonstop compliments from guests on the band, their talent and their personality in keeping the crowd entertained and engaged. My only regret is not having a longer reception because no one wanted to leave the dance floor!

Hire them right now!

You should hire Nola Dukes Band right now! We hired a string trio for our ceremony and their 8-piece band for our reception. They also helped to connect us with Big Fun Brass band for our Second Line. Everything was wonderful. They played all of our first dance songs live and nailed each of them - especially my husband and I's first dance song (It's Been a Long Long Time by Harry James; it was really important to us that it was played live since it has such a good jazz band feel to it).

Randi was absolutely wonderful to work with. Her excitement and energy leading up to our wedding was infectious and her understanding and execution of our music vision was perfect - we don't love top 100 songs and we didn't hear any of them at the reception. Randi herself was one of the lead singers and helped to MC the night, keeping the crowd energized and engaged.

I was a bit nervous since there aren't a ton of videos available online of their live performances, but that is because other musicians have stolen their arrangements (if you ask, they will send you samples directly) and I shouldn't have been worried. Live music was the most important aspect of our wedding when planning and I would choose Nola Dukes a million times again.

The absolute best

We had Nola Dukes for our wedding last month and let me tell you, you’d be making a mistake to not hire them! All of our guests were asking the next day who our band was. The planning prior was so easy, Randi was wonderful to deal with and I couldn’t of asked for a better band on our special day. Do yourself a favor and hire Nola Dukes, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Exceeded my expectations

Randi and the Nola Dukes went above and beyond to make our night special. Our original date was cancelled due to covid and Hurricane Ida and were flexible to change the date with no extra cost to us! Randi was very responsive and made sure all the details and song choices were exactly what we were going for. Highly recommend! you won’t be disappointed

Amazing band!

This band was hands down the best band I have ever heard at a wedding and I have been to many weddings. From day one of talking to Randi, I knew they were going to be a show. And, they were! Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. The dance floor was full all night and that's exactly what we wanted!

Perfect Experience!!

Randi was amazing! Leading up to the wedding, she answered all my questions and was so communicative. I can't tell you how appreciative I am of that- as it can be stressful planning a destination wedding. She made it so easy and also had the best personality- Randi is definitely doing the right job :) So, the band itself for my wedding was amazing!! We wanted a true New Orleans style music and they brought it! Despite the rain and having a tent, they seemed to be so flexible and went with the flow and did everything that was planned- even when we had a few changes they pivoted perfectly. Book Nola Dukes NOW!!!

Where to start?? This band is AMAZING! Like most "Covid couples" we rode quite a rollercoaster getting to our wedding day but Randi was a DREAM the entire time. She was so responsive to email and actually picked up the phone to call and reassure me! After my first chat with her while planning I was sold - she's so warm and genuine and I knew whoever she aligned herself with was going to be the same. Now for the actual reception - our guests have not stopped raving about our band. We are a party crew and there was something for everyone! We just received our photos from our big day and I literally did not leave the dance floor once... If that's not a sign of a good band I don't know what is! This is an incredibly talented group (those horns!! that voice!!) and I wish I could have a wedding every weekend and hire them. Most fun I've ever had!!

Absolute Professionals

Nola Dukes was, hands down, the best band that I could have hoped for or imagined at our wedding. I had heard them and several other bands that we were considering, so I knew their musicianship was as good as it gets before I even booked them. Even having already seen them, they still impressed me at times throughout the night. I'm a guitarist, and found myself having trouble standing still during the post-ceremony pictures because their guitarist was very subtly ripping jazz arpeggios during the easy going cocktail hour set.

But anyone can go out and see them and tell they're good. What you're not going to get until you book them is the absolutely top tier level of PROFESSIONALISM that Randi and the rest of the band bring to the table on and off stage. On-stage, the sets they laid out were perfect, and not a song felt out of place for the mood of the room. A lot of this had to do with the process they had set up in preparing for our wedding, which just screamed "We've done this before, and you're in good hands." The personalized website made it easy to make request changes without feeling like I was bugging them, and when we did have to contact Randi, she was a saint. I literally felt like she knew us personally, and I could tell it was important to her that the band put on a show that was reflective of our musical tastes, not just what they play for every event.

All the non-musical, logistic off stage stuff was seamless too. Working with them felt natural every step of the way, and if you have a wedding with a dozen flaky vendors all asking about last minute adjustments while trying not to sweat through your suit, this is a blessing. They make it a point to set up an "ironing out the details" phone call about a week out, which I found was in a perfect timing window between "I'm gonna forget everything we talked about," and the crippling anxiety that accompanied me on my actual wedding day. When I got off the phone, I had a clear vision of the entire schedule of the night, and I'd go so far as to say that making the final preparations and payments actually calmed me leading into the week of our wedding. I really can't say enough about them, and if there was a way to give more than 5 stars, then I would.

Truly talented musicians!

NOLA Dukes made planning our wedding music a breeze. We worked directly with Randi who was super responsive and let me tailor our ceremony music - with custom sheet music for processional - into a jazz cocktail hour into a rocking band for the reception. We had an 8 person band for the reception and our guests continuously commented on how talented our musicians were and how much they enjoyed the music! Would definitely recommend NOLA Dukes for your event!

The NOLA Dukes brought the party!

Working with Randi and The NOLA Dukes for our wedding was such a great decision! From starting the planning to going through all the small details, Randi and Emily were so helpful and awesome through it all. Their online portal was extremely helpful and organized. The Nola Dukes Band is an amazing band to work with! Randi is the sweetest and is very helpful, reliable and dependable!

I hired their 8 piece band to play for my wedding and because of COVID we went from that, to a 6 piece, and then had to hire a DJ at the last minute because of restrictions. Randi helped us through the WHOLE thing, remaining positive and hopeful and got in touch with our reception contact to figure everything out.

If you are looking for band who you can trust and rely on at a great price, while also enjoying great music, choose them! (: I would highly recommend!

Randi is the best!

Through the recomendation from a friend, we went to listen to Nola Dukes Band at a local venue. After listening to them and talking to Randi we knew they would be a great band for our wedding. We went to hear them play one more time and then booked them for our May 2020 wedding. Randi was easy to talk to, made suggestions for what we needed, and was responsive to all my questions. Then Covid and stay at home orders! So our May wedding did not happen. After talking to all of our vendors we decided to re schedule for July 2020. (Our wedding was smaller so we were able to proceed.) Covid caused some extra stress and challenges (and lots of tears too) in re scheduling our wedding, but Randi was there every step of the way. She was flexible and we made the needed modifications in order to have our wedding in July. Our friends and family were so excited to celebrate with us and we all had a fabulous evening. It was an evening we all needed and the band provided the environment for us to celebrate being together. I would recommend Nola Dukes Band to anyone who is looking to have a celebration- big or small. I wish everyone success moving forward in these uncertain times. Fantastic!!!

Randi was just the sweetest and easiest to work with leading up to our wedding!! We had a destination wedding in Nola coming from FL and my husband and I are BIG music snobs lol! We really felt that a good band/music can make or break your wedding and it meant so much to us to hire a good band. They were 1,000% everything we had hoped for and more 🤗🤗!! We had an acoustic guitarist play during the ceremony and cocktail hour - just so beautiful 😍. We were supposed to have a marching band for a second line parade but unfortunately due to COVID all parades were canceled for the weekend. Regardless, Randi refunded is for that portion and played extra time at the reception!! They had the most amazing energy and were all truly amazing artists in their craft :) they played all of our requests as well as their own unique style , signature Nola Jazz/funk and party favorites- EVERYONE danced!! You've Found Your Band.

WOW. Randi and crew exceeded our expectations. We are music fans and go to a lot of live music. We are saying with all honesty that this band was tight, tight, tight!! Very professional, friendly, responsive to pre-wedding communications, and got everyone on the dance floor. We couldn't recommend this band enough-great song catalog and the Dukes were able to play some very difficult requests with ease. We used their acoustic guitarist for our ceremony and he was amazing. We then used the 8-piece band for the reception and they knocked it out of the park.

Best reception band in New Orleans!

Look no further for a reception band because Nola Dukes is it! Growing up in New Orleans, you see the same few bands play at every wedding with the same songs. When it came time for our own band research, we knew we wanted a band that was different and fun. My husband found Nola Dukes online. Since we live out of state, we listened to their demo CD and sent my sister to their showcase at a bar - from there, we were sold! We booked them without ever hearing them in person, which was a little scary, but I knew we were in good hands. We did an 8 piece band at our reception, which was priced very reasonably and in line with other bands we checked out.

Randi is absolutely amazing to work with as she is professional and prompt in her responses. Also, when it came time to talking through the reception, she offered solid advice and professional opinions on order of events and songs. For selecting songs, there were a couple "must play" songs, lots of "absolutely do not play" songs; but, otherwise, we left it up to the band as to what to play. Nola Dukes knocked it out of the park! The dance floor was never empty, and the range of songs and genres they played was awesome! Randi was great at interacting with the crowd and keeping the party going. Afterward, so many people told me it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to, and we owe most of that to Nola Dukes! Randi, thank you for everything!

Beyond Amazing

Working with Nola Dukes was the best and easiest decision for our wedding. From start to finish they were incredibly responsive, well organized, and fun. Amazing!!!

When we talk to our guests the one thing they always bring up was how amazing our band was. We had our wedding at a small plantation bed and breakfast so we knew we wanted to have both a jazz and contemporary type vibe for our wedding. Me and my husband are from California and the majority of our guest would be out of towners as well so we wanted to give them as much of a New Orlean's experience as possible. Nola Dukes Band went above and beyond my expectations with both working with Randi and the band itself! I couldn't recommend Nola Dukes Band enough! Fellow gigging musician: NOLA Dukes are 100% Legit

Randi and NOLA Dukes surpassed our expectations in every way. Honestly, if you want a band for your wedding in New Orleans, this is it. I talked with Randi (lead singer and band manager) for almost 9 months leading up to our day. We planned from afar and had a ton of moving parts -- from a String trio, to a Second Line parade, and then finally a 7-piece horn band. Randi and Co. put it all together and even learned some custom tunes for us. This amounted to what would be an outrageous price in the Northeast, where we're from.

I can't tell you how great Randi is to work with. Slacker musician? Hell no. On point business person? Hell yes. And after the great planning and communication, her and the band showed up with some chops, rocked the house, and set the mood for the party of the year that night. I can go on and on, but if you're considering hiring a band for your NOLA wedding, contact NOLA Dukes -- they are what you've been looking for.

Keep you dancing!

We were lucky enough to hear the NOLA Dukes at a friend's wedding a while before ours. We had an amazing time, and I was convinced we needed the NOLA Dukes for our wedding. Randi was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. We asked the band to do a special Mother's Day tribute with us, and they made it happen! They also learned our first dance song so that we could dance to live music. We found the NOLA Dukes to be the best deal financially- you can customize the size, which helped us because of some noise restrictions at our venue- but we also found out it helped our budget! Guests loved the band and about 20 people asked who they were. We wanted a band that would keep the dance floor packed all night long- and we got it!

Dance the night away with nola dukes!

NOLA DUKES IS AWESOME!!!! We held our reception in the courtyard/first floor at Brennan's. From the very beginning, I new I wanted NOLA DUKES. They did not disappoint!! They worked with me closely throughout the planning process, gave me an awesome website that I could type out a schedule, song preferences, etc. It was so easy to navigate. They worked with our schedule, help us outline the evening in terms of announcements, toasts, cake cutting, etc. I cannot say enough good things about how talented they are. If you have a wedding in NOLA, do yourself a favor, and hire NOLA DUKES!!!

Want to have a fantastic band? Choose Nola Dukes!

My daughter got married 12/29/18 and it was a 250 guest wedding at Broussard’s. The couple are both from New Orleans and wanted a wedding that reflected NOLA yet was unique. Cue NOLA Dukes and the objective was met! Fantastic music, excellent communication; Randi was the best to work with!
I’m always told I can’t keep a secret. Well I showed my daughter! She wanted a Second Line. I told her we couldn’t afford it and then promptly called Randi. She helped me pull off the perfect surprise with a second line! They offer both: second line and several band ensemble packages. There aren’t enough stars ⭐️ in the sky to give Randi and NOLA Dukes what they deserve!

So much fun and very talented

Nola Dukes Band is simply a blast to have at a reception. My husband and I first saw them at a friend's wedding and immediately knew we needed to have them at ours. Everyone was out on the floor the entire night, even some of the older crowd. We love their take on some our favorite hits, and we can't say enough about how easy it was to plan out how we wanted to reception to go with Randi. We highly recommend them if you want guests to remember how much fun your wedding was!

Very professional, and extremely talented!

The NOLA dukes talent was beyond our expectations. They performed r&b, hip hop, motown, country, and their performance/sound was better than the actual artist. Our guest never sat down. It’s been 6 months since we had our reception at the Beau Rivage and friends still talk about the amazing NOLA dukes band.

My husband and I love Nola Dukes, they rocked the house. They are just such a great band to work with, and Randi was so very helpful in helping plan out our reception. We got nothing but compliments from our guests and everyone was on the dance floor all night long. We highly recommend the Dukes for your wedding.

Nola Dukes were fabulous! They handled all their planning on their own which helped me have one less thing to stress about. They were able to play all of our song selections for both the ceremony and reception, and everyone kept asking us who the band was! They had so much energy and made our reception a blast. Would HIGHLY recommend for your next event!!

Nola Dukes is such a great band to work with! We were lucky to see them twice beforehand at some friends' weddings and fell in love with their energy and range of songs they could play. Randi is very easy to communicate with and discuss how you want the night to flow. The band is excellent at reading the crowd and playing songs that keep people moving on the dance floor. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a great band at a great rate...they are the best!

My now-husband found these guys because he was in charge of music; both because he’s much pickier in this arena than I am, and also because I really have no idea what I’m talking about. I loved being able to go see them play at Little Gems Saloon ahead of time, and I immediately loved their energy and allllll the options working with them offered. We started looking early and considered many bands, but we kept coming back to NOLA Dukes. We couldn’t find the energy or options anywhere else. Once we started working with Randi, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt we had made the right choice, and it was worth every penny. Randi walked the two of us through every step, brought up things we had never thought of and provided solutions, added a second-line band and took care of all city permitting and PO organizing, helped us figure out ceremony music last minute when we had no idea what we wanted, added an extra horn when my husband decided he couldn’t live without one at a NOLA wedding...all in all, incredibly helpful, thoughtful, kind, supportive, proactive, easy to reach and the end result was amazing. Our guests had an unforgettable time and nearly a month later folks are still getting in touch to tell us how amazing it all was. I’d go with these guys over and over and over again. If you’re not sure what you’re doing and want someone to walk you through things, or if you know exactly what you want, NOLA Dukes can do it all and we are so so grateful to have booked them, worked with them, and have them do our wedding absolutely perfectly. The NOLA Dukes are the perfect wedding band, in my opinion. Randi did everything she could to ensure that our wedding reception was a success, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to hire them. Our guests (and even the staff at our venue) were praising the band all night and the dance floor was full from start to finish. They played a great mix of classic and contemporary songs, and they weren't cheesy in the least. No regrets!

Not only are the Nola Dukes an incredible band, but they help a ton during the planning phase. Randi and I worked together on different ideas throughout our wedding. All we wanted was a giant party where everyone would dance, Randi asked what kind of music and then set a playlist. They were the topic of the night. Would buy them again!

Randi and the Nola Dukes were AMAZING! We checked them out beforehand at the Little Gem after debating for a long time on our band choice, and were so relieved once we saw them play. We knew we would book them right away! Everyone kept saying how great the band was, and I have had a few people so far ask who they were. Randi and the band did a beautiful custom rendition of our first dance song. Everyone had a great time, the sound level was perfect. Randi was one of the most organized vendors I worked with throughout the planning process. I also really enjoyed being able to choose how many band members to accommodate our budget (we ended up splurging a little bit on 8 members and it was a great choice; they have an option for everyone). My wife and I loved working with the Nola Dukes. Randi, band manager, was our point of contact throughout the process She is a PROFESSIONAL. She truly understands the flow of an event and what points are critical for executing a performance. Throughout the planning, Randi answered all of our questions very timely and thoroughly. She asked us tons of questions too! Randi asked us questions to try to understand what we were envisioning for the night and helped us formulate the type of evening we had in mind. There were many things that would never have crossed our mind until Randi brought them up. You can tell she cares and she knows what she is doing. This level of competence was carried throughout the whole band. We hired a 9 piece for our wedding in New Orleans and they were THE FOCUS of the night. They knew when to crank it up and when to be in the background. The night went flawless and it is a testament to crew we had at the wedding. It's one thing to be a great band. It is another to be able to provide an experience like the Nola Dukes can. The Nola Dukes were an amazing wedding band! We had our wedding in October at Broussards in the French quarter and Randi took care of everything musically for us. She arranged for our ceremony music, our second line brass band, and the of course the wedding reception music. We had a consultation call with Randi to discuss our likes/dislikes and then we filled out a questionnaire on the Nola Dukes website. The Nola Dukes Band took it from there! They nailed our musical taste and all of our guests were raving about how great the band was. My wife and I were a little nervous because we live in Atlanta and didn't have a chance to see the Nola Dukes Band in person. We only had youtube videos and reviews to go off of. We are so glad we took the leap of faith. The band was wonderful and Randi was very pleasant to work with. My wife and I would HIGHLY recommend this band. Not your typical wedding band. The band was phenomenal!! People are still raving about them! We hired them as the ceremony music, the MC and the band for the night. We also were able to second line at the end of the night. They were so flexible with our needs. The singer asked me what I wanted throughout the night to ensure that we were happy. Could not have asked for a better service or price!

The Dukes were absolutely fantastic -- they truly exceeded our expectations!! We were looking for a great band that wasn't your average wedding band.... and they nailed it. "Hurricane" Nate and our incompetent Mayor put a significant damper on and condensed the timelines of our celebration but more than anything else everyone commented on how awesome our band was! They performed our first song - "Lovely Day" and were also able to accommodate a particularly funky version of "Aint it funky now" by James Brown. Everyone ended up on the dance floor while they belted out a handful of wedding standards and a large number of high energy surprises that kept the party going. We look forward to re-living our Day at one of their showcase shows at the Little Gem for our First Anniversary!

Randi and Nola Dukes were absolutely everything we could of hoped for! With just a few simple suggestions and a bit of guidance, they seemed to entirely understand our music senses and translate it into a fantastic set that had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. The range of genres was exactly what we were looking for - everything from songs by the Black Crowes to Bruno Mars, and their Jackson 5 medley still has me blown away.

When in New Orleans, you need a horns section, and Nola Dukes is sure to deliver on that front! Randi was incredibly engaging and sweet, the perfect MC/host, and not to mention killer vocals (did I mention the Jackson 5 medley?!). Many of my family members are musicians themselves and are still raving about Nola Dukes.

There is not one single thing I would change in terms of music or Nola Dukes at our wedding. They picked up the vibe we wanted instantly and had as much fun with it as we were having. From leading up to the event and all of our interactions, to day of and after - not a single critique. It all was extraordinary!

Where to begin! We used NOLA Dukes at our wedding in February 2017, right around Mardi Gras. We had 2 bands, a second line for our ceremony and a jazz band for our reception. Both were amazing and really brought home our wedding weekend. Randi is truly a magical person, she heard everything we had to say and curated this wonderful day, even helping to organize our wedding timeline. She was fun and professional, even handled some noise complaints at our venue with Cindy the Degas House manager - without disturbing our fun. Our guests can’t stop talking about how amazing the band was, truly memorable.

Awesome all over. Our point of contact, Randi, was extremely responsive and patient in the face of all of my 2000-word emails regarding logistics and details and special requests. We had a few specific, somewhat complicated requests for our first dances, and they all went without a hitch. The band had great energy and kept everyone dancing all night. We got a lot of positive comments about them from our guests as well. As a bonus, they were an all-in-one package, meaning they were able to provide a string duo for the ceremony and a brass band for the second line (they also handled the route, police and permits for the second line). Hopefully I'll never have to get married again, but if I do, I'm definitely booking the NOLA Dukes again!

Randi and The Nola Dukes were absolutely amazing! From the very first email from Randi to the very last song, everyone was professional, supportive, and oh so much fun.

Not to mention the incredible music the band brought to the wedding! This is one talented group of musicians. I was blown away by their showpersonship and energy. Plus the selection of tunes they chose kept everyone moving and grooving.

The Nola Dukes were a highlight of our wedding, and we feel so lucky to have found them. If you're thinking about booking The Nola Dukes – do it! I can't recommend them highly enough!

The Nola Dukes Band was incredible! Randi was so organized and helpful and made everything smooth for my big day. The band sounded GREAT at the wedding.. it was an outdoor venue under a pavilion and the sound wasn't muffled or scattered.. it was on point! I would definitely recommend this band for your wedding.

What advice would I give? BOOK THIS BAND.

The Nola Dukes were so great in so many ways - so bear with me! If you're looking for a one-liner: book them.

1. Randi and the booking process - she's a doll, made things SO easy, was always on top of things and our timeline, just the sweetest. I had full confidence that I could have just shown up on March 4th and things would be amazing.

2. Felix and our string trio for ceremony - we booked a trio through Randi, and I had a very specific song I wanted to walk down the aisle to (one by DeVotchKa) and they were able to put together an arrangement for it, and played it beautifully at the ceremony.

3. THE BAND - You guys. This band is amazing. I had the most fun I've ever had at my wedding (I would imagine most people do) but I don't think we stopped dancing, they played things they knew we were hoping to hear, and this band had everything to do with it. I was so so happy that we went with Nola Dukes, they played so many great songs (everything from Beyoncé and Jay Z to Justin Timberlake to The Temptations) and it was just amazing. I've never seen certain members of my family dance so much! (Love you, Mom!).

I hope I get the chance to throw another party in New Orleans so we can work with them again - you will be so happy they're part of your day!

We could not have been more pleased with the Nola Dukes!! I found them online, and my husband went to one of their open-gigs in New Orleans while I was at work. He texted me and said, "if I had my checkbook with me, I would put a deposit on them right now!" We loved that we were able to build the band to our needs - we picked the exact singer that we wanted, as well as the number of band members. Because of this flexibility, we were able to have a high quality band but still stick to our budget. The planning process was so simple. The website makes it a breeze, and Randi was so easy to communicate with (via email and phone) when we had questions. We loved being able to have a conference call with her before the event. The band had told us that they would not be able to play our first dance song live because it was so specific (i.e. they would probably never play it for anyone else), but when we got to the dance floor, they surprised us by playing it live!

Armando was our singer, and he was FABULOUS! He did a great job of getting everyone up and moving. He was out on the dance floor with everyone. Our friends and family raved about the band and how much fun they had. Our out of town guests even asked if they could travel to Kentucky to do their wedding there!

This band is truly the best in the business. They know what they are doing, both musical and business! Don't break your budget going with the big-name bands... you will not be disappointed by the Nola Dukes!

Randi and the Nola Dukes Band were incredibly easy to work with and very knowledgeable about wedding receptions. NOLA Dukes band recently performed for our wedding reception on December 3, 2016. They were absolutely amazing! We first went to hear NOLA Dukes showcase at the Little Gem Saloon when we first got engaged and I knew right away this was our band. Randi is one of the lead singers and also appears to manage most of the booking/coordination. She's wonderful to work with and I loved how at the showcase she set time aside to discuss dates, availability, and pricing! One of the unique things, is that NOLA Dukes is very flexible and accommodating. You can pick the size of the band you want....which can really help with meeting your budget needs. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and all of my hopes and expectations were exceeded. I had originally planned to provide an exhaustive list of songs I wanted to be played, but noticed a blurb on their website stating that they do their best work when allowed to read the crowd and freely adjust. I decided this was the best approach as they were the professionals and what a great decision it was! Randi really knows how to work a crowd! The musicians are top notch as our wedding song (L.O.V.E.) has a trumpet solo and it sounded just like the original. Every single guest from the wedding has raved about how great the band was and in fact a recently engaged couple booked the band for their wedding in 2017. Thank you NOLA Dukes for making our wedding day a dream come true!!

The Nola Dukes make me want to get married every weekend. There is no question whether or not to have them play your wedding: you will regret not choosing them! They made our reception what it was - a totally rocking party with everyone dancing pretty much every song. We had several friends comment that we had "the best wedding ever," and I think a LOT of that feedback is due to the Nola Dukes. Not just an awesome wedding band, but an awesome band and group of musicians.

We were planning our wedding from NYC so working with a reliable group was super important to us. The NOLA Dukes were extremely organized which helped put us at ease. Randi and her band were more than happy to learn our first dance song and even helped us navigate using their set breaks to play music that was culturally relevant to our family. They kept the dance floor packed all night and really knew how to manage a crowd that had such varying tastes in music. From old school music to the more updated tunes, they really impressed us and our guests. We would definitely recommend them!!

We are so happy that we decided to book the Nola Dukes for our wedding. Randi was so easy to work with during the planning process, and helped us figure out when to do the toasts and everything. We had the keyboardist play during our ceremony, and we had a 5 piece band for the reception. There was a small hiccup because the guitarist got stuck in traffic and was late. That meant they weren't able to play the father/daughter and mother/son songs live, but they had them ready to go on an iPod and it went smoothly. They played low key music during dinner that allowed everyone to hold conversations at their tables, but really turned it up after dinner ended. They kept the dance floor packed all night, and played a great mix of old and new music that had young and old singing and dancing along. We planned on ending the night with a second line, so the band played "They All Ask'd For You" and we second lined, but our family and friends were having so much fun that they were calling for an encore, and the Nola Dukes willingly obliged and played one more song to close out the night. They were incredible! We got so many compliments on the band that night, we loved having the Nola Dukes at our wedding!

On March 19, 2016, I married my soulmate. My wife and I trusted the NOLA Dukes to provide the music and entertainment for our ceremony/reception and I am so glad we did. They were INCREDIBLE. Not only was NOLA Dukes LGBT-friendly, they were excited to be a part of a celebration that stood for so much. I felt that from the very beginning, which was extremely important to us. They had a wide range of song selections to choose from and even learned a specific song for our ceremony. My advice would be to first book them, then trust them. They are professionals and know what they are doing. Their talent is evident in their music and their personalities are icing on the cake. Hire this Band!

We found Nola Dukes after attending a friend's wedding 5 years ago. When it came time for us to tie the knot we knew who we wanted! They were every bit as great as we remembered. Randi made the booking process and everything ahead of time go smoothly, and was a delight to chat with. She immediately latched on to our vibe and communicated clearly about what we could expect. The band has a huge repertoire, which meant that our wedding felt different than the wedding we saw the Dukes at in 2017, as they were able to tailor the music to the tastes of the couples. The consistent things were the quality of the music, and that these folks know how to lead a great party!!! Because they really paid attention to what we like, they ended with one of our absolute favorite songs. We had not requested it, and were so surprised and pleased. I couldn't recommend the Nola Dukes enough!

Live music is the way to go

Randi was wonderful during the planning process. She helped create a flow and set list that was everything we could have asked for. The band performed flawlessly on the day of the event and everyone mentioned how much they loved having live musicians rather than a dj or playlist.

Hire Nola Dukes Band

Just stop your search now and hire Nola Dukes. They played and emceed our wedding and were phenomenal. During and after the wedding, numerous guests told us Nola Dukes was the best band they've seen play at a wedding (agreed). The band is full of absolute pros and it shows. Aside from one request, we left song selection totally up to the band and they put together a fantastic set list. The energy was always right. You can also arrange ceremony music through them with members of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Randi is great to work with and sets you up with a personalized portal where you can fill in all planning details and requests. Hire Nola Dukes—you'll be glad you did!

Best wedding band in New Orleans and maybe the South! They will get the party started and keep it going. Professional at all times and provide all services you could ask for. You won’t regret hiring them!!

Absolutely fantastic!

My wife and I decided early on we wanted live music for our wedding, originally scheduled for September of 2020. We booked NOLA Dukes early-on, before the pandemic really took hold in the US. Our original agreement was for a 7-piece reception band, a ceremony harpist, and a second-line through the French quarter.

Fast forward to 2021, and my wife and I had rescheduled the wedding for April. NOLA Dukes easily adjusted their schedule and timeline to meet our needs, and worked within the restrictions of the city of New Orleans to provide as much of their services as possible.

Leading up to the wedding, we had a backup DJ in place given the city of New Orleans wasn't allowing live music. In a divine turn of events, the mayor allowed live music indoors 3 weeks before our wedding. My wife and I decided to pivot away from the DJ and keep NOLA Dukes booked for our reception, assuming the risk that a rise in cases could sweep the rug out from under us. Ultimately we did host the 7-piece band, the harpist, and ended our night with second-line music as a replacement for having the actual parade.

Boy, did we luck out. NOLA Dukes absolutely owned the stage, and had our reception rocking well into the night. One of my groomsman stated, "I've danced more at your wedding the last hour than I did at my own entire wedding."

How's that for a ringing endorsement.
