If you’re looking for a wedding DJ (or a DJ for any event) look no further than Andres. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand the exact vibe and experience we wanted for our wedding, and he absolutely delivered. Not only did he meet our expectations, he went above and beyond them.
Andres was incredibly proactive throughout the entire process, always setting up meetings, checking in, and making himself available whenever we had questions or wanted to chat through ideas. He made the entire planning process feel easy and stress free.
We also had Raphael on saxophone, and he was absolutely amazing. He brought such an incredible energy to the night and elevated the entire atmosphere. The combination of Andres and Raphael together kept the dance floor packed all night.
The music was one of the highlights of our wedding, and days later people are still talking about how great everything was. Andres truly helped make our wedding unforgettable, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly. Your event will absolutely benefit from having them involved! -

I recently worked alongside Alex for a wedding where No Macarena provided lighting and DJ services. I was truly impressed with their service. From the outset, they were incredibly friendly and personable, making the entire event feel seamless. Their responsiveness to requests and questions was exceptional, ensuring that everything went smoothly on the big day.
The music selection was fantastic, perfectly tailored to the couple's tastes and the mood of the evening. The DJ kept the dance floor lively and engaged, with guests of all ages enjoying themselves. Their ability to read the crowd and adjust the playlist accordingly was impressive.

On the day of, DJ Rod handled last minute changes and venue restrictions with ease and helped the entire day flow seamless. As a day of coordinator, I really appreciated his stress free energy. We hired No Macarena for our wedding on 1/10/2026 at the College of Physicians in Philadelphia.
First off, their administrative process was very easy and helpful. No Macarena was on a list of preferred vendor we received from our venue/catering company. Their website was easy to navigate and gave us a very good sense of what they were about. It was important to us to have more unique song choices and we didn’t want to include certain typical reception games that just weren’t our style. In hindsight we felt they were true to their name (though they will play the Macarena if that’s what you want), they were comfortable working outside the box with us (not that we were all that far outside of it).
Their communication was prompt and helpful. The contracting process was easy. Their pricing was very reasonable, though we didn’t shop around extensively since they already came well recommended. We communicated with Sarah administratively and then were directed to Ryan who was our performing DJ for the event. They had us fill out a questionnaire and create playlists of music we wanted at different parts of the event. Then we had a very constructive meeting with Ryan where we were able to tell him what we wanted and he guided us through clarifying things we wanted, things we didn’t know we wanted until he offered it, and what we didn’t want, that in hindsight he did an excellent job respecting our preferences.
Preceding the start of the event, we only made it on-site shortly before our ceremony started due to our photography schedule. Ryan was very tactful and polite about asking us questions to assure things were setup the way we wanted, without overloading us while we were busy taking care pictures and preparing other aspects of the event. Nothing felt extraneous or burdensome, only helpful and perfectionist.
The event went better than we could’ve hoped, and a large portion of the credit for that, especially regarding our reception, can be attributed to Ryan and the company he was representing. We picked a lot of songs we wanted him to play, and restricted him on use of remixes and crowd favorites. He did an incredible job organizing the music to play through the event seamlessly, cutting and speeding song up without them sounding weird in order to play almost every song that we selected. He had great equipment, everything sounded good, but also wasn’t overpowering. Our guests had so much fun, we loved it, and it wouldn’t have been what it was without him. He even took some extra videos for us of some special moments, which was especially appreciated as we did not choose to hire a videographer. We can’t thank him enough!

Alex was so awesome!!! I was a bit worried about getting everyone on the dance floor knowing our guests were all across the map with music-taste. No Macarena sets their DJs up with a set of planning documents that help outline the flow of the evening–I cannot stress enough how helpful these are to make sure you and your DJ are on the same page logistically. We gave Alex a few inspo playlists, which are folded into the process with No Macarena, and boy did he deliver! There were robots, there were worms, dance circles, and shoes off all night long. He knew how to blend in the right mix of Spanish music to ensure everyone had a good time. He was such a joy to work with on the day of and we really appreciated his calm demeanor.
One thing that really stands out to us about Alex is his ability to think quickly and tackle tricky set ups. We had planned to have our first dance in the garden at MAAS, but when the day came we were advised against it because rain looked likely in the outdoor area. Having our dance in the garden was still our best-case scenario, so when the forecast cleared up later in the evening, Alex worked with our friends who were doing a live performance of the first dance song in order to make it happen. This is a special memory we’ll hold dear to our hearts for years to come!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding! DJ Andres was incredibly attentive to our needs from the very beginning. He met with us several times to make sure every detail was perfect, especially the timing of our entrance songs, which he executed flawlessly.
He even had his own personal assistant who helped ensure everything went smoothly during the ceremony, which gave us so much peace of mind on our big day.
The energy on the dance floor was amazing! He played absolute bangers that kept us and our guests dancing all night. It truly made the evening unforgettable for my wife and me, and we will cherish those memories forever.
We also loved the addition of live instruments—a drummer, Anthony Schelkonogov, and a saxophonist, Raphael Rodrigues—which added an incredible vibe to the music. If you’re looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond and delivers an exceptional experience, we highly recommend DJ Andres and No Macarena for their wedding DJ services. -

I would highly recommend working with Andres for your wedding. He was incredibly responsive, detailed and organized. He took the time to get to know my wife and I as a couple. He helped us create our first dance song working through multiple revisions. He took the time to work through every detail before the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. He even chatted with each of our friends / family members giving speeches at the wedding to be sure they were prepared and felt comfortable. He had a great set up which included lights and included an assistant to support throughout the event. After listening to how we valued a fun, filled dance floor for our wedding, Andres delivered. He played the music we suggested with many fun additions and transitioned seamlessly. One thing where Andres went above and beyond was recording the first dances and speeches when we didn't have an videographer. We would highly recommend Andres to anyone who is looking to have a great DJ for their wedding. -

My wife and I got married at the Knowlton Mansion in July 2025 and had the best day EVER! NO Macarena DJ Alex Miles was seriously the best DJ we could have ever gotten, and he was incredibly accommodating and helpful with my wife and I playing live music with our band for a few songs! The dance floor was red hot, and all our guests said it was the best wedding they ever have been to! We all know that my wife and I just ruined all other weddings for everyone now...because OURS was so GREAT!

Working with No Macarena was such a smooth process from start to finish which is what you always hope with vendors. What adds to this already great experience is that our DJ (DJ Rod) listened to our requests, no matter how weird, and made sure we had an amazing wedding, dancing the night away with friends and family!!! He took time and care to find and edit every song that was important to the night to make sure he had it right and on the wedding night itself he was an incredible emcee and kept our pop-punk throwbacks going! No Macarena and our DJ Jonas Oesterle were a perfect fit for our wedding. They were super budget friendly, which was important to us, and easy to communicate with. My husband and I didn’t want the traditional DJ/MC experience we see at many weddings and that’s No Macarena’s main goal. Jonas did a great job at keeping the night moving with necessary announcements, had just the right amount of energy, and really took our playlists (which were incredibly long) and played the perfect mix of music. We didn’t have a very large wedding but the dance floor was full for most of the night! -

From beginning to end, No Macarena was fabulous! Coordinating with Sarah, the owner, at the beginning was super easy. She was so kind and thoroughly explained the process and the options they offered. She also took the time to answer any questions I had between booking and the actual wedding. We requested Alex based on other reviews and he was amazing! From our intro call with him to the end of the night, he was easy to get along with and fulfilled all our requests. If you are looking for a DJ who lets you have a big say in what music is played or one who will do some research to find a certain song you are looking for (we wanted some Taylor Swift remixes and he found a few to play), Alex is for you! He made sure the night ran smoothly and was a great MC. And for the affordable price, I could not recommend No Macarena and Alex more! -

Exactly what we were looking for!
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Sarah and Chris. To say they made the entire planning process lift a weight off our shoulders in the weeks leading up to our wedding is an understatement.
They were very communicative over the last year and a half and were always happy to answer questions. We added-on amber uplighting at our venue which turned out beautifully, and our guests absolutely raved about the photo booth! They were so happy to have hardcopies of their photos to remember the night. At the wedding, they helped coordinate some final details for us and truly helped the night run smoothly. From the beginning the folks at No Macarena were so kind and helpful when planning our wedding. Sarah explained the process and was just genuinely friendly to chat with on our initial call. Leading up to our event, we worked with our DJ Josh on every detail & he was so flexible and accommodating to a ton of last minute song changes on our part. We had even planned a live song performance by the groom & wedding party relatively last minute that he swooped in and helped us manage with additional equipment, sound checking, and timeline finagling. He worked with our venue, coordinator, and their techs to make everything work seamlessly. Never once did they make us feel like a request was too difficult to manage - Josh was so nice and helpful the day of and everything went off without a hitch. I highly recommend No Macarena - affordable for the services they provide, and great to work with. -

Full Dance Floor!
Rod, from No Macarena, was the perfect DJ! We went over music and timelines two weeks before the wedding and everything went so smoothly. He made sure that he had the correct version of the ceremony and first dance music which was so helpful. We asked for our dance floor to have a Jersey Shore meets disco vibe and he did an amazing job and completely understood the vibe we were going for. The dance floor was packed the entire night! I’m fully confident that he will be able to match and vision a couple has for their day. He knows his music! We loved having a “no” playlist and a “must” playlist. I cannot say enough good things about No Macarena and Chris and Sarah. Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding, Chris and Sarah were professional, helpful, patient, and supportive. Every question asked, they had an answer for, every possible issue posed, they had a solution, every crazy idea pitched, they rose up to the challenge. From our first phone call all the way up to the day of our wedding, they were there ready and willing to help us make all of our big ideas become reality. Their outline was so helpful in planning the timeline for our big day and really helped us figure out all of the small details that we probably would not have even thought of. On the day of our wedding, they were punctual, able to set everything up without questions, and executed everything that we talked about with no issues. They played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and every event went off without a hitch. During the reception, they provided an excellent mix and kept everyone up on the dancefloor providing the exact atmosphere that we wanted. I can't imagine how different the planning process and our wedding would have been if we didn't choose to use No Macarena. I am so incredibly grateful for everything they did to help make our big day so special. I highly recommend them for literally any event. -

Jamya was a Joy
We can’t say enough good things about Jamya. She was a ray of sunshine on our day. She was considerate and accommodating at every turn, and once the reception started she made the whole thing flow perfectly without ever causing us stress. She mixed the music perfectly and accepted every request we had.
We decided on the song for the mother/daughter dance, no joke, a minute before the dance actually began, but Jamya made it work without a hitch!
She played music from the playlist that we provided, but also got a feel for our taste in music and added in more music that meshed perfectly! She also mixed songs so that guests weren’t stuck listening to the same song in its entirety. If you’ve been to other weddings, it can be difficult to keep people’s attention when the same song is playing for too long.
At one point, our dance floor started to slow down because people started to get tired (because the music was so good that we couldn’t stop dancing). Instead of slowing the music down on her own, she came over and checked with us to make sure we were okay with slower music and even asked us for some slow songs we liked.
It was this kind of consideration, kindness, and attention to detail that made Jamya such a joy to work with. She made our party amazing, and all without taking the attention away from us once.
Our guests (both young and old) were constantly telling us how amazing she was. Many of them took the time to even walk up to her at the end of the night to thank her personally.
You can tell that she really enjoys her job. Her love of music (and people) quite literally radiates out of her. She has this megawatt smile and seeing that on your wedding day is infectious
Do yourself and your guests a favor and book Jamya for your wedding!! -

They have a shared document that makes it easy to communicate all of your song preferences, speeches to announce, etc. Our DJ Alex was awesome! DJ Rod and No Macarena deserve more than just a 5 out of 5 review. Quickly, for No Macarena they are exactly what they advertise. They allow you to take complete control of the playlists for all parts of your wedding, if you want, and they did no line-dancing or anything specific that we did not want. We liked No Macarena for the originality and freedom offered, and that is exactly what we got.
Regarding DJ Rod, as a couple who stresses professionalism and friendliness most of all, especially for our wedding, DJ Rod was perfect. He was friendly to speak and work with. He handled set-up and our requests with respect but also an eager attitude like he WANTED to do it. He was an absolute pleasure. It felt like he was on standby for our few specific song requests, and we gave him creative freedom for the dancing portion of the night and his song choices were great! Everyone who wanted to dance was dancing and very much enjoyed themselves.

I knew from the moment I spoke on the phone with Sarah that this would be a perfect fit. Sarah and Chris understand music and production so well! They are incredibly skilled at being able to cater events to your exact preferences! They were INCREDIBLE to communicate with from start to finish. Kind, efficient, quick response time, and seamless all around.
We had a lot of unique preferences as we were combining different styles of music/cultures throughout the night, a singing flashmob of guests towards the end of our first dance, amongst other requests and Alex was able to accommodate all of it without question! We opted to add a live drummer to our event (who happened to be from Ukraine; my family is Ukrainian so they loved that!) Anthony (drummer) and Alex (DJ) were AMAZING and the guests were raving about the duo. Alex had the crowd dancing (of all ages!) all night long. We added party lights last minute which were such a good choice! We also opted for a PhotoBooth which was a blasttt and I highly recommend it! Worth every penny.

I cannot say enough great things about No Macarena DJ! Chris and Sarah themselves came to DJ my wedding in June and they were absolutely amazing from the jump. The first time we spoke with Chris over the phone our anxiety immediately subsided - he was incredibly kind, thoughtful and listened to our requests. We had kind of a weird request where we wanted our first dance song chopped up a bit to include my favorite part of the song at the end, and Chris was able to mix it with short notice, and he did an awesome job! They were spot on with the type of music we wanted, and when they showed up to the wedding, I felt like I had known them for years with how comfortable they made us feel. Cannot recommend them enough!!! -

My wife and I had a great experience working with No Macarena and our DJ Jonas. They were so easy to work with and were always clear in their communication. In helping us to prep, they asked all the right questions to ensure that we had everything in place with speakers/equipment, timeline for speeches, our playlist and more. Jonas did a great job reading the crowd to make sure both our younger and older guests had a great time with some great music. We got so many compliments from our guests on the music.

My husband and I are HUGE music people so we had a vision of what we did and did not want on our big day. Sarah and Chris of No Macarena ensured our vision came to life! Jonas did such an amazing job, we were blown away at the playlist and everyone kept coming up to us saying how good the music was. We might be self-proclaimed "indie-heads" and didn't want anything too cliché, but also wanted everyone to be up and moving on the dance floor. Jonas handled it with ease. The sound quality was amazing and the vibe was impeccable. Sarah and Chris were also great in the organization process making it all very seamless and easy. The initial conversations with Chris and Sarah were so easy, and they made us feel super comfortable. Our DJ was Josh, and he was great to work with. He was diligent in making sure the timing of our songs was exactly right and kept guests on the dance floor all night. I highly recommend this company, especially if you want a DJ who cuts a lot of the flashiness and focuses on the music. -

No Macarena came recommended to us by our venue. Both the previous and current owners (Kim, then Sarah + Chris) were responsive and great to work with. We were matched with Jamya a couple weeks before our wedding, and she killed it! She considered all of our requests, timed our ceremony music perfectly, and definitely read the crowd. No Macarena/Jamya were a breeze to work with and I can’t thank them enough for being the soundtrack of our big night. -

Super Fun DJ's!
No Macarena was so fun to work with! Sarah and Chris were super responsive & kind. They were so accommodating to all of my requests. Music is very important to my husband and I and they took everything we needed & turned it into the perfect night. Chris and Sarah literally had a baby the same week as my wedding and there were no issues in communication! My hair literally caught on fire & Chris helped lighten the mood with "fire burning on the dancefloor" & it honestly is one of my favorite stories to tell about our wedding lol. My guests also raving about & were so appreciative that Chris took all of their song requests because a lot of DJ's will not accommodate them. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ -

We had a great time working with Christian from No Macarena for our wedding! He had a great guide that helped us know when we needed to pick music throughout the ceremony/reception, he reviewed our preferences, then actually stuck to them during the event! He was able to pick the music up just right when we asked him to get people on the dance floor, and he checked in with us when the Groomsmen had a few special song requests that don't really fit at a wedding so we could approve/deny appropriately. Would highly recommend working with Christian! -
