Nancy was a complete pleasure to work planning our wedding! When working with Nancy, she was able to discuss all of the nitty gritty details of our wedding weekend vision that she, and her team, helped us bring to life! We didn’t have to worry about a thing the entire weekend because we knew that Nancy was on it. Nancy was extremely helpful in setting up the wedding and coordinating with all of our vendors and venue. With so much experience under her belt, she was able to provide us with expertise guidance for planning, in addition to get us to think through things we would’ve never imagined for planning a wedding. Nancy was able to lay out options and new ideas to help enhance the wedding weekend activities that we had planned. Nancy was a great planner for our wedding! -

Nancy is such a pro and her team is amazing, NJOY Event Planning executed our wedding weekend in Vermont to perfection and we could not have done it without their help. From the first time we talked to Nancy, we were impressed. She has extensive knowledge of the Vermont wedding scene and seemed to know every single vendor we asked her about personally which led to easy intros and made the logistics so so smooth because she had already worked with everyone we used. She consistently took things off of our plate while planning and her team made it so we could enjoy our wedding day fully and without any interruption or worry. We really appreciated how Nancy would always provide her professional opinion and recommendation while also letting us know that at the end of the day...it was our day and our call. She makes herself available at the drop of a hat and cares deeply about the couples she works with. Many say the planning process is stressful but not when you have Nancy and her team! I could not recommend NJOY Event Planning more highly -

From the first conversation with Nancy , I felt confident we had picked the right person to help plan my daughter and her fiancé 's wedding in Manchester ,Vermont. Nancy was very knowledgeable ,creative and patient ! Like all events in life there are enforceable hiccups and my daughter's wedding was no exception. Nancy held our hands through it all and made us feel heard. The team she brings with her is creative and very professional. Her 30 plus years in the industry shines through and she is able to pivot at any point to allow the vision for the wedding to shine through and appear to be effortless. Nancy and her team took a barn and turned it into a dream. Lastly , I can truly say that we started out as a client but ended up being wonderful friends. -

Vermont Garden Wedding
NJoy Weddings & Events produced our fabulous romantic garden themed wedding.
We valued Nancy's (principal designer and planner) expertise and advice throughout the planning process. Nancy's classic touches, like sheer flowing draperies, table linen advice, dance floor size and table shape/style recommendations all contributed to the feel we were looking for. Many of Nancy's suggestions helped eliminate the guess work that comes along with many choices in the wedding industry.
We were most impressed with the last few weeks of planning, as N Joy Weddings & Events pulled the years work of pre-planning all together in an perfectly executed timeline so that the wedding would flow smoothly based on our customizations.
We appreciate the VERY hard work of wedding weekend where N Joy Weddings and Events tackled last minute issues, and made sure all the elements involved were displayed and produced in what what many guests commented, "one of the best weddings they have ever been to."
We are forever thankful to the staff at NJoy Weddings & Events for producing such a beautiful wedding.

All I can say is I wish we could give Nancy & NJOY events more than 5 stars for this review...!!!! Hiring Nancy for our Vermont wedding was hands down the best decision we made in the entire process. From her incredibly kind and caring spirit, to her SUPREME organization of every single detail, to knowing each and every vendor personally up and down the East Coast and everything in between - Nancy and her entire team are simply the best in the business. With our outdoor wedding all planned, we had to last minute move everything inside due to inclement weather and given all the changes, our wedding **would not have gone off as smoothly as it did without her right there with beside us every step of the way. We hired Nancy for the final 3-5 months of wedding planning, and my gosh do I wish we had hired her the second we got engaged!! From day one of meeting her she grasped our "Fall in the Mountains" Vermont vision in seconds and from then on out took care of every outstanding item. to make sure we felt stress free and were able to sit back and soak in all the magic of our wedding day. I truly looked forward to every conversation with Nancy and now look back in "awe" of how much she took care of and executed on leading up and day of. We cannot thank Nancy enough for everything she did to help us in the entire wedding planning process and making our wedding the greatest day of our lives!!! -

We knew Nancy would be a great fit from the day we met. She came to our first Zoom meeting with a binder that already had a photo of us on it, and we were immediately impressed! Nancy has several decades of experience & expertise. As I like to call her my fairy-god-planner, Nancy truly cares about her clients and her life's passion is creating unforgettable, magical experiences. She is prompt, communicative, organized, and always eager to help with a can-do attitude. She is well-known & respected in both her industry & community, which made acquiring and working with vendors a seamless process.
She supported our vision with helpful suggestions. We had the best day ever and definitely have Nancy to thank for that!
On a more personal note, we developed a strong connection with Nancy, and even though our special day has come & gone, I know we'll keep in touch! Can't recommend Nancy enough! -

Dreams Came True
Nancy Jeffries-Dwyer and her team listened to my daughter and her fiancé in order to produce an event that matched and exceeded their hopes and dreams. They transformed a ski lodge into a magical, woodland wonderland and provided an extended weekend of detailed merriment. Since this was a destination wedding planned remotely it was critical to have people involved who knew the area. Nancy opened doors that we would never had known existed.
Forever thankful we had Nancy with us this past year. She amazed. -

Nancy is one of the best, if not the best, at she does!
In the initial conceptualization of what our wedding would look like, she took our half-formed ideas, improved upon them with excellent suggestions, and crafted a beautiful vision of the wedding far beyond what we initially had hoped for. From there, Nancy took great care to arrange all the different vendors and running quarterback - a no small logistical feat, with the utmost attention to detail and executing flawlessly all the way through. On the day of our wedding, Nancy took great care of us, letting us enjoy the day for ourselves, while executing on a military precision. One of the greatest and most heartfelt moment for us is when Nancy lent her own precious wedding necklace for the bride (fulfilling the "something borrowed"), which was so touching for us.
It is apparent to everyone that Nancy truly loves what she does and she elevates the game for everyone around her.
We are so honored and grateful that Nancy took us on as her clients despite her packed schedule, so we can be the happy recipients of her craft. -

Having had the opportunity to work with Nancy over the past 25 years as the producer of theatrical musicals that I directed, I expected nothing but excellence in her role of event planner for my daughter’s wedding in Stowe, VT. A producer needs to manage every aspect of a show, from its inception to its opening night. Planning a wedding requires the same tenacious attention to detail that will create an experience that will live forever in the minds, hearts and memories of all who participate on that magnificent day. The key difference between producing for theater and the wedding is the following: You have only ONE shot to get it perfect for the wedding. Nancy understands that and is committed to every client to make that one shot perfect. There is no detail too small to escape her consideration and action. Her ability to manage people, places, vendors and the unexpected, puts her in a category of Super Planner! Why, because she really cares about what’s important to the bride, groom and all family members who are involved in the process. She listens attentively to the “actors” to understand the wants, desires, and concerns they have for the big day; then as a great director she guides them to a place that allows them to relax and enjoy the experience. There are so many things that can go wrong, BUT Nancy with all her experience in theater and Event planning, has the ability to anticipate and solve issues before they become problems. Julia G- If you are looking for someone to put all your trust in and completely alleviate you from any stress during not only your wedding day but the whole experience LOOK NO FURTHER! Nancy (and her team) is absolutely incredible!!! My mom and I are very type A people and never thought we’d hire a wedding planner until COVID hit and we had to reschedule our wedding. Nancy truly saved us lots of stress and provided invaluable insight to helping create the wedding I’ve always dreamed of! Nancy came on after we rescheduled the wedding and about 10 months away from the new date. We “had” Nancy with us for monthly meetings several months out from the wedding, but as we got closer, we had more frequent and longer meetings. She and her team were with us for 3 days, coordinated numerous vendors, a pandemic, and several locations with ease. I’d gladly get married again if I knew I had Nancy in my corner! So happy we got the opportunity to work together, Nancy! Brides and MOBs, rest assured, you’re in the most capable hands! -

Magical Fall Wedding Weekend!
Nancy Jeffries-Dwyer of NJoy Weddings & Events did an amazing job planning (and managing) our destination wedding at the Edson Hill resort in Stowe, Vermont which took place this October. Our celebration was delayed a year due to Covid 19. Throughout the process, Nancy kept us well informed, gave us great advice and helped us make important decisions. Nancy has been planning weddings and events for a long time, so her recommendations on venue, vendors and theme were always perfect. In addition to having a warm and engaging personality, Nancy is extremely organized, detail oriented and focused. She's also quite the amateur meteorologist – her decision on the day of the wedding to move our ceremony up an hour prevented what would have been a very wet disaster! Pulling off a destination wedding isn't easy. Thanks to Nancy, our wedding was everything that we dreamed of. We will always be grateful to her for the memories she helped create. Working with Nancy was such a gift! We hired her as a day of coordinator for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day. The moment she came she confidently took the lead & got to work. She assisted with all aspects of the wedding from bridal bouquets to centerpieces to ceremony decor and steaming my dress (plus everything in between!). Her ability to work well with others makes her very pleasant to be around for such important occasions. But she’s also incredibly talented in her ability to turn chaos into magic in a very short amount of time. From making my dress look polished & steamed, to ensuring our ceremony & reception spaces were impeccable & magical to even capturing photos of the ceremony from unique angles we can’t say enough about how important hiring her was for us. Especially for me as the bride she was my tower of strength on my big day. From the moment we saw her bright & early on the day of the wedding everyone kept saying how energetic she was! Nancy Jeffries-Dwyer has impressed us more than we could possibly imagine. Who would’ve guessed that there is SOOO much to consider when planning a wedding? We would’ve been completely lost without her! She had all of the answers to our hundreds of questions, and was so responsive that she actually answered most of them before we even thought to ask.
Nancy just makes things happen. She made a to-do list and a timeline and held us to the deadlines that we needed to make. She knew exactly what vendors would match our budgetary goals, and all of her recommendations were spot on.
She is also clearly a born leader. When the big day finally came, she was somehow everywhere all at once, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Even when a last minute rainstorm forced a change in venue, she kept us calm and was the ultimate “cat herder.” She got everyone indoors for a ceremony that was just as magical as the one that we had originally planned. All of our guests were truly wowed!
You won’t do better than Nancy Jeffries-Dwyer. She’s talented, highly experienced, and thinks of every possible consideration. Our big day was AMAZING, PERFECT, and FUN! Thank you Nancy!!!!! -

Truly Grateful
I can’t begin to thanks Nancy and her team for making our daughter’s wedding the most wonderful event possible. I considered planning the event myself but quickly learned how much I didn’t know. In steps Nancy. Her attention to detail, her knowledge of the vendors in the area and her ability to adjust to any crisis (like an unexpected rain cloud for our outdoor ceremony) are unparalleled. She transformed our barn welcome reception into a charming Vermont soirée complete with Adirondack chairs, fire pits with s’mores, twinkle lights and a whiskey barrel bar. Then she coordinated a last minute switch from outdoor to indoor ceremony with barely a hiccup. And a ski base lodge was transformed into an elegant wonderland with dozens of small details. Most helpful was her knowledge of what needs to be arranged and when. We could not have pulled off such an exquisite event without her. She and her team truly outdid all of our expectations. What a special weekend we had. We are truly grateful! -

Nancy was an unbelievable wedding coordinator. She was a delight to work with on our end, she had so many good ideas and kept us on track with our own preparations, and she made our wedding day entirely stress-free. I think one of the ways that her impact was most obvious, was in the response from vendors-- they all LOVED working with her. I think that speaks volumes. I would recommend Nancy to ANYONE planning a wedding-- it is obvious that she excels at anything from a small backyard wedding to the most lavish of celebrations. I look forward to seeing pictures of her future projects :) -
Matt Sent on 09/12/2018We planned an August wedding in Vermont at my family's church in Stowe. Because we live in Tennessee, we wanted a local wedding coordinator who was a true professional. We asked around and were referred to Nancy Jeffries-Dwyer. Nancy proved to better than we could ever have hoped for! Of course, this was big deal for us and we actively planned for several months. Nancy is a very good communicator -- excellent with emails and conference calls. We found her to be excellent at follow through and rather surprised us with the extraordinarily LEVEL OF DETAIL she goes into in preparing for a wedding. She also knows EVERYBODY! She hooked us up with multiple people, including a bag-piper, a great local band, florist, photographer and The Green Mountain Inn, where more than 85 guests enjoyed an amazing reception and dinner.
Here's an example of her level of preparedness: After the wedding, we planned to a bagpiper lead us in a short parade down the main street of Stowe, between the church and The Green Mountain Inn. Great idea, but Mother Nature had her own ideas. Almost as soon as the service began, we heard thunder. We walked out of the church, in our wedding finest, to find a steady rain. What could have been a disaster turned into one of the most memorial parts of our wedding. Nancy has come to the wedding with 30 MATCHING WHITE UMBRELLAS!!! Rain proved to be good luck and the photos of our party -- a train of white umbrellas -- were amazing! Highly recommend. She is the consummate, hardworking wedding professional. Love her! -

I cannot say enough about Nancy Jeffries-Dwyer of NJOY Event Planning! I was married on July 29, 2017 at Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe VT and Nancy truly made this my dream wedding. She has an eye for detail and no detail was spared, down to the paper towels in the bathroom. Nancy was able to take my ideas and turn them into a reality, she knew when to make recommendations to enhance the occasion and when to let me take control. Over the year that Nancy and I worked together she became more than a planner, she became a member of my family. She is someone a bride can count on and can go to no matter what the circumstances, she truly personalizes the experience. I would recommend Nancy to any bride, I am looking forward to planning more momentous occasions with her in the future! -
