  Nini is an absolute dream to work with! She is incredibly talented and extremely professional, always quick to respond to emails and prompt with appointment times, even when I requested for her to start at 4am. I met Nini three years ago when she did my makeup and hair as a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding and really liked it, so I kept her in mind when I started planning for my own wedding. I asked her to do my makeup and hair for my engagement photos, and the result came out just as perfectly as it did three years ago. As I have flat hair and dry skin, she was very considerate in choosing specific styles and products that would give me more voluminous hair and moisturized skin. Since I had a destination wedding, Nini was exceptionally accommodating with travel fees and schedule requests; on my wedding day, she started my makeup and hair at 4am and worked through 5 more bridesmaids’ makeup and hair and my touch-up without taking a real break. She is an amazing artist and helped each of my bridesmaids personalize their own looks. She is extraordinarily hard-working and dedicated to her work but also friendly and easy to talk to, which made my wedding day preparations run quickly and smoothly. After working with her on three separate occasions, I highly recommend her services and would not hesitate to book her again for future events!

  Nini did my hair and makeup for my SF City Hall Wedding and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience and the end result. After having a negative experience with a different hair stylist/makeup artist I was very worried that my hairstyle wouldn’t hold and that my makeup would look unnatural. During the trial run, Nini listened carefully to all of my concerns and created a beautiful natural look that I loved. My fiancé was so impressed that he insisted on doing a mini photo shoot of me that day -and even with our cell phone camera the photos came out great. For the wedding day, Nini came to our house and recreated the look from the trial run. She was very professional, punctual, and pleasant to interact with. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and comfortable with the look and even custom created a colored lip gloss out of eye shadow for me since I have an allergy to most store bought brands. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day with almost no touching up (just reapplying lip gloss) and looked amazing in the wedding photos. I will absolutely be going back to Nini for future special events and photo shoots. Thank you, Nini!

  Nini did a fantastic job for my make up on my wedding day. Not only did she make me beautiful, the make up stayed on all day even after I cried during the ceremony. (not to mention it was a warm day and I was sweating too...) Nini was also super friendly and easy to talk to, so it was a pleasure getting pampered by her. Even though I did not hire Nini to stay for touch-ups, she was so kind in providing me a touch-up kit. I really appreciated it! Nini is an excellent make-up and hair artist. I'd be happy to recommend her to anyone.

  She did my make up and hair on the day of my wedding in November, and it was an amazing experience! Since my bridesmaids were doing their own make up and going to a salon themselves, it was only Nini that was working with me.
  
  Before my wedding day, we communicated via email and phone to set up a time to do a trial for both hair and make up. She was patient, friendly, and had a keen way of connecting to me in order to understand what style and look I wanted.
  
  On the day of the wedding, she met me at my house on time and very prepared. She made me feel comfortable during this process and though we made some last minute changes to our initial looks/goals, it turned out wonderfully! She was even very cooperative and friendly to my videographer team and photographer!
  
  Nini went above and beyond even on the day of my wedding! My husband and I rented a convertible Lamborghini and unfortunately a drive down the freeway before the reception caused my hair to be in chaos (but it was so FUN). I was fortunately able to catch Nini, that night, and asked if she could help me. She graciously re-did my hair and helped me freshen up for the rest of the night!
  
  I could not have asked for better support, service and expertise from Nini! She was absolutely caring and dependable on my nerve wrecking (but meaningful and exhilarating!) day! It was a load off my shoulders knowing that I was in good hands with her.

  Nini did a fantastic job for me on my wedding day. Before the day of the wedding, she was very attentive in asking me questions about the looks that I wanted. I usually do not wear makeup, so I opted for the natural look and trusted her in making the judgment on what would look best on me. Regarding the hair, she listened to how I envisioned it and executed it nicely. I was very happy with her skills, and I received a lot of compliments on her work. She's good at what she does!

  I was blown away at the phenomenal job Nini Yang did.
  
  I had my engagement party last friday which was this big fat Indian bash. I had called Nini to book her nearly a month in advance and she made sure she had enough room in her schedule to fit me in. Throughout the entire month I sent her my outfit colors and we talked periodically about which colors would look good and how fancy/subtle I'd like the make up. My mom also wanted to get dressed up and Nini happily did my mom's make up as well (despite the added time commitment that came in last minute).
  
  Now, keep in mind I was planning all of this from Boston. Of course, day of my mom and I were late getting to the venue. We were supposed to be there at 4pm but ended up reaching there at 4:30. Nini was there at 4pm sharp and instead of just waiting around she promptly went inside and got set up with everything organized and ready to go for us. I went first and she had organized everything I needed. She was fast, efficient, and made sure that the make up was good enough to be prominent in all of the photos.
  
  My mom tends to be very particular in how she likes to look and while Nini had never talked to my mom beforehand of what she wanted she was very patient in getting to know my mom's needs and wants of how to look.
  
  It was such a pleasure working with Nini. I've seen some preliminary photos of the event and both my mom and I look good (if I do say some myself) and it's all thanks go Nini. I'll try to post photos here as soon as I get them but I can't thank her enough for being so accommodating, professional, and friendly. I can't wait to start up discussions with her for my wedding!
