  I and my bridesmaids and mom got our alterations done at Nikki's after trying all around the DC area and getting the most unreasonable prices for what were the most simple alterations for their dresses. My dress on the other hand I needed to completely change from a zip up back to a corsette back and Nikki did an excellent job on everything that she touched. I was very happy with her professionalism and the value of her work. I highly recommend her not only for alteration but for dresses because she had a lot of great items.

  This is a good place to everything that you need on a budget. I looked all over for my dress and nowhere that I went I got that feel that the dress I had on was the one. I found Nikki's by mistake was looking for party favors and saw a sign in the window "Wedding dresses $99.00". I went inside tried on several dresses and found the one that made me cry. She does alternations right there at the shop. Donna is really great.

  When i was in search for the perfect wedding dress i had a hard time finding one often spending hours at a time looking for that perfect fit. I became very frustrated in my search and then heard someone recommend Nikki's Bridal. From my first initial visit i pulled a Maggie Sottero dress off of the rack, put it on and new i had the right one. I could not believe the price of the dress, especially by this being a brand name designer, it was hundreds of dollars less than in other bridal stores and also online. The expertise of the service associates in the bridal shop they helped me from picking out bridesmaids dresses to the right accessories to take my dress from beautiful to gorgeous. I highly recommend this vendor.

  I got my bridal gown (Anastasia by Maggie Sottero) here. I loved the dress, and even though it came in at the last minute Nikki took care of the alterations and also hemmed a bridesmaid dress a couple days before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, there were a couple problems - a seam on my dress loosened a little, and we couldn't find one of the loops for the bustle, but everything held up okay, and these may have been due to my walking outside and down stairs quite a bit in the dress.
  
  Price seemed good, I found the dress elsewhere and was given a price several hundred lower here.

  I had a great experience here, and I will go back anytime I need a formal gown for a special event in the future. They are very nice and helpful, and the prices were very good. When my gown came in, she did all my alterations exactly how I wanted them done, and it was all done on time.

  I will go back here again, again, and again. Nikki, was great. I have a seamstress on hand to make a dress design that my daughter created. She backed out 4 weeks before the event. I went to Nikki's 3 weeks before our event and had the dress done in 1 1/2 weeks. I was very pleased, I will say that she did begin to run a little behind schedrule because it was wedding season, but she came thorugh when we needed her the most. I would reccomand her to my closest freind. I am not sure what happend to the customer who wrote the review under me but I had a totally different experience. Nikki was great and the dress was absolutlty stunning.

  i had both good and bad moments when purchasing my dress. im still unsure how i feel about my experience. at the end of the day my dress was PERFECT. but I'll start from the beginning. i went dress shopping in a few stores. i found MY maggie sottero dress at kleinfelds. my fiance wanted to see it so we went to the website and found a dress shop close to our house in MD that had the dress. we went and we found out the price was cheaper at this shop (by a few hundred dollars). i tried it on and ordered the dress July 31 or August 1(a size smaller than i was at the time). she said the dress would arrive by January. i didn't hear from her in January so i called. she said the dress came in the wrong size and had to be returned. i would have it by late January. late January came and i didn't hear from her so i called. she said February. by this time i had my matron of honor calling for me. to make a long story short, i received my dress in March. i did feel stressed but at the end of the day i did get my dress.

  You may find your dress cheap here but it's not worth it! I bought my Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses here because they offered the cheapest price in my area. They are a small shop that's not aesthetically pleasing. I was very worried and nervous after ordering my dresses from them b/c they did not seem very competent. The dresses took 7 months to come in, which was way past the date Nikki said they would ship. I called to ask the status of the dresses and Nikki told me she'd call when they shipped. Never did. I had to keep calling to see if they came in yet and magically one day that I called the dresses had shipped. Didn't hear from them again. Called back and Nikki said the dresses were delivered but she was out for a family emergency so the shipment went back to the warehouse and would have to be shipped all over again. Once again, I was told I'd get a call when they were in. I was very patient and kind until I didn't get a call back, called them instead and once again, magically that day the dresses had arrived. I asked for assurance that the dresses were in and asked why she didn't call me, I totally got yelled at and hung up on. One of my bridesmaids called right after to defend me, and she got yelled at and hung up on too. No professionalism, terrible service, rude rude owner (Nikki). Dresses turned out fine but DO NOT GO THERE! It's so not worth the stress and worrying, amidst all the other wedding planning you have to do.
