Wedding Reception

I am so happy that I chose NightBeat Entertainment for our DJ and photo booth services. From the first moment we had our phone call with Johnny to book we knew that he would provide us with a great time. The forms are all very detailed and Johnny thinks of all the right questions to ask! If you’re looking for a DJ who will make sure your dance floor is NEVER empty this is the right one for you. My friends and family are still talking about how great the music and dancing was from my wedding! The mirror photo booth was unique and such a huge hit! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Johnny and his wife Michele made sure to continue to check on us throughout the reception and made sure things were going smoothly. Highly recommend NightBeat entertainment for DJ services and Photo Booth! Thank you again Johnny and your entire staff for making sure we had the best night possible.

Amazing and Fun!

John and his wife were AMAZING!! He knew exactly what everyone wanted to hear and had fun with it, too! He even graciously dealt with pesky relatives that requested songs that didn't quite fit the mood, like slow songs during upbeat dancing, much to my relief! He was funny and easy to talk to, making a stressful time much more bearable. His lights and smoke machines were so much fun, too, my photographer was able to get even more fun and amazing photos with the cool atmosphere John created with his lights and smoke. He even helped plan the timeline of my wedding and gave experienced pointers that really helped and checked in occasionally to make sure I had what I needed even outside music for the months leading up to the wedding. It makes a huge difference when you can tell that someone genuinely enjoys their job and he definitely does. Highly, highly recommend!!

Best Vendor

We hired NightBeat for our winter wedding in January. Johnny was awesome! All of our guests were pleased. I was also very pleased with Johnny because he was in contact with us every step of the way. I didn't feel like I had to wait forever for a response, Johnny got back to me right away. NightBeat is awesome! My sister and my cousin hired him as well

I didn't want the night to end!

As an absolute honest review.... Nightbeat Ent. was the DJ for our wedding. The photo booth mirror was a hit! Our dance floor always had people on it. A variety of music was played. Johnny is very flexible, easy to work with, and always responded when we contacted him. Johnny and his wife made sure our night went smoothly and aimed to please! Our guests were impressed and I would recommend Nightbeat Ent. to a friend without hesitation.

Amazing Experience

Nightbeat was amazing, and Johnny was always a pleasure to work with. We received a ton of compliments on how beautiful the mirror was itself, but also on the quality of the photos. The Best DJ in Michigan!

My husband DJ and I got married on September 21st, 2019 at Stone House Farm in Bancroft, MI. Byron was our DJ at our wedding and my husband and I both agreed that we couldn't have asked for better. He was on time, professional, organized, energetic, and quite literally had our dance floor packed until we had to exit our venue. The sound system was great and even with an outdoor ceremony, had multiple microphones to assure everyone would be able to hear the readings and also in the barn as well. DJ and I even received multiple compliments from our wedding guests on how great Byron was! Whenever there was a formality (first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss) happening, Byron would come out and around from the booth an interact with our guests to get them all involved! Overall, the sound was great, the energy was great, he kept on our timeline, and our dance floor was hype the entire night!! Thank you to NightBeat for helping our night go so perfectly!! 10/10 recommend!

Best decision ever!

Johnny and his wife went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our wedding this week! The biggest compliment to our wedding was NightBeat! The planning process was easy - I lived out of the state the entire year prior to the event and Johnny even drove to the venue the only weekend I was in the state to finish planning! The entire day of our event they found every opportunity they could to make our day seamless - including stepping in as a coordinator during our ceremony to keep it on track! The little details they paid attention to was obviously seen. Many memories were made with our loved ones thanks to them. Best decision of our wedding!

Best DJ Ever

Nightbeat did an incredible job at my daughters wedding. The dance floor was packed all night up until the reception ended at midnight. Johnny and his wife met with us a few times to make sure we walked through the evening and desires. I still have friends and family commenting that it was the best DJ they have ever seen and the song selection was perfect for the wedding. I highly recommend their DJ services and the magic picture mirror!

Great Entertainment!

Great Company! I hired this company for our Photo Booth and I am extremely pleased! They are an amazing couple so professional, nice, caring and engaging! They made people want to come back and take more photos. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! The Photo Booth was extremely modern and all props were in great condition! NightBeat Entertainment is the best DJ that you could hire for your wedding ceremony and reception. Johnny made sure to keep in contact with us throughout the planning process and was great at listening to our timeline and helping tweak it based on his professional experiences. He was able to find all of the music that we wanted for the ceremony and it was perfect. Picking out music was so easy-everything is online and there is a huge selection of music. Throughout the wedding, Johnny and his wife, Michelle made sure that everything was running smoothly and kept checking in when we wanted to do the typical wedding things. If it wasn’t for him and his wife, I’m not sure we would have had as much time to dance and have fun at our wedding. Johnny got everyone on the dance floor all night! Johnny and Michelle went above and beyond being the entertainment; even helping refill our flip flop bucket. Johnny was absolutely phenomenal. His personality was amazing, he was very helpful and prompt during the entire planning process and during the event. Johnny and his wife Michelle were amazing! We had actually booked with another DJ for our wedding but our DJ was flaky so we ended up cancelling and losing our deposit when we met Johnny! He was always professional and responded quickly to our questions or requests. His website to prepare for the big day was awesome. We could go online and pick out songs we wanted to play and fill out the timeline of the big day. During the event he had the dance floor always full! The songs and the way he transitions are perfect. The uplighting really added to the room once the sun went down. The Disney castle monogram was spectacular and perfect for our fairytale wedding! Johnny and his wife were so sweet they even let one of our family members who is 8 years old get up to the DJ stand and put on the head set and play DJ! Our photographer was able to capture this sweet moment! Johhny and Michelle were amazing the day off always makign sure our expectations were always met. You will not go wrong if you decide on Nightbeat entertainment for your event! We are certainly glad we did!!

Working with Johnny was easy - everything is online on his website. You can log in and add song requests, make payments, add bridal party names, etc. The day of the event, Johnny and his wife arrived very early to set up. They made sure we were happy the entire night - checking in with the bride, bridal party and bride's parents regularly. He agreed to stay an extra 30 minutes for no extra charge.

The photo booth was very cute and high tech. They gave us a book with all the photos and our guests' messages. It was very well done!

Johnny and Michelle are the most amazing people to work with! They just did the photobooth, DJ, and cloud dance as well as up lighting and monogram for our wedding. They also did the back drop for the wedding and everything was perfect. They even went above and beyond that and got to know us and what we like and helped us create our ceremony and made it even better than I thought it would be! They went even farther and got us last minute chair covers! These guys did a phenomenal the! I would definitely recommend them to everyone. They are a huge blessing to us! I hired Johnny to DJ my sisters wedding and he was absolutely amazing! During the wedding planning he went above and beyond to help us make things perfect. He helped us make a wedding timeline, plan the ceremony decorations and music, table placement and everything else you can think of. We had one meeting at the venue where he had the best ideas for the ceremony and helped me make my sisters dreams come true without breaking the bank. our second meeting was over lunch with the bride and his wife who does the photo booth and we got the ceremony music picked out and went over all final details. There were no issues whatsoever, they were always polite and sure made us feel at ease with the wedding quickly approaching!!!! We will use this company for any and all future parties/events and have recommended them to many of our friends and family!! If you want a company that can do it all and DJ that cares about your event and wants it to be the best day of your life, This is the DJ for your event!!!!

Johnny and Michelle did an amazing job at our wedding, countless emails and phone calls with very quick if not immediate response. They turned our reception hall into an elegant romantic atmosphere. Throughout the evening we have numerous people come to us and say what an amazing DJ we had, with Nightbeat entertainment it isn't just your typical DJ, Johnny has state of the art equipment and the coolest photo booth we have ever seen, we could keep continuing with all the absolute amazing awesome stunning things that Nightbeat has to offer I would recommend them to anyone! Johnny and his staff were great! He cared about making sure everyone was having a good time, was engaging, and worked with us to make sure our reception ran smoothly. We loved the photo booth and appreciate the book of photo booth pictures. The packages he offered fit perfectly within our budget. Aside from being prompt, professional and patient, Johnny kept the dance floor packed. Johnny helped us organize the entire wedding day prior to us even thinking about the itinerary weeks before the wedding-he even provided a sample timeline to assist us with getting organized. We didn't have a wedding coordinator, yet Johnny doubled as DJ and coordinator as he announced all the events for the day by guiding our guests and ourselves for what was to happen next based on the itinerary. Johnny was extremely flexible when we started toasts/dinner service early and helped the flow of the evening go smoothly. Johnny even went above and beyond by taking pictures throughout the day and emailed them to us-it was such a nice and kind surprise. And most importantly, our guests spent a majority of the night on the dance floor and raved about how great the music was the next day! We would highly recommend Johnny!

Nightbeat Entertainment brought the party to life, and kept the whole room dancing for hours on end. This was the first time I have seen many of my relatives dance and have so much fun so this was truly a special night to remember. All of the services were top notch, from the lighting, cloud machine, photo area, and DJ booth. I have never met a more professional DJ. If another event arises I would not hesitate for a second on who to call, "Nightbeat Entertainment!"

Johnny provided a great time for my girlfriends surprise 50th bday. Didn't use the online services to select favorite music. Communicating to Johnny over the phone what types of music and from what era. He did an excellent job with keeping the music flowing and the dance floor full.

I did not worry about a thing all night . They were attentive to the wedding party and to us all night, making sure everyone and everything was perfect. They kept the evening flowing and the guest dancing.

Johnny provided excellent and professional DJ service at our wedding reception. He played every song that we had requested on our "must play" list. The goal of a DJ is to keep the dance floor packed all night long and Johnny definitely accomplished that goal. Johnny and his staff went above and beyond for my husband and I. Johnny worked closely with me on song selection and made a lot of great suggestions that I hadn't though of! The online portal was a great asset and helped me a lot through the process! On our wedding day, They provided a professional set up with the photo booth as well as the DJ station! The mirror-me photo booth was a HUGE hit!! Also, They were more than happy to have a separate outdoor set up for the ceremony, which was flawless! Our DJ Brian was fantastic and a crowd pleaser. All of our guests were more than satisfied with their services. The only suggestion was maybe having the DJ mic turned up a bit for this venue, since the layout was different than most. But overall, were so happy we decided to hire NightBeat Entertainment!

Overall our experience with NightBeats was positive. They're not a weekend DJ service - they do this professionally and it shows. The best aspect was the online planning tools offered. We were able to create our entire playlist AND create the reception timeline - all online. The DJ called us the week before to confirm all details of the ceremony and ensure that the music we did and DID NOT want to hear was listed. The DJ did a great job the day of. He was energetic and professional. He did a great job with our wedding party. Throughout the reception he made sure to find us and see if we needed anything. The other service they offer, uplighting, is a must. We were able to really bring the reception to life with soft, LED lighting.

Unfortunately I was highly unimpressed by NightBeat Entertainment and their services. The microphones for the speeches went in and out constantly. I understand that issues happen, however I wish the DJ would have made an announcement that the speeches would continue later when they were fixed. As it was we missed 2 of the speeches made from my bridal party and I can never get that moment back.

Also, I felt that the DJ was rude to me and I had several guests come to me after the wedding that said he was rude to them as well. At first meeting the DJ met with the bridal party to go over the details. I had a lot going on in my head as you can imagine and I just wanted to make sure everything was in order so I asked very nicely if he had everyone's names for the bridal party. He laughed at me and then very condescendingly said "yes".

My Aunt was the mistress of ceremonies and at the beginning of the event she approached the DJ and told him that she was the point of contact for the evening. He responded with "No, I will be going to the Bride" and he proceeded to come to me with details that I should not have had to deal with on my wedding day.

I will honestly never use NightBeat Entertainment again and I will recommend my friends and family do the same.

Johnny was very scatterbrained throughout the entire process. He would forget conversations we had and relied too entirely on this online setup. Our ceremony started at 2pm. He thought it started at 2:30pm. It worked out fine though. When we walked into our reception hall I was surprised how bare the walls looked considering we paid $500 for their uplighting add on a month prior to the event. At the reception, Johnny argued with me that we didn't have uplighting. Then he realized he was looking at an old contract after he went over this paperwork at the reception. He did give us a refund for the uplighting. He was rude to our photographer who had did an art piece for our guests to sign and took the pen that was sitting on the portrait so people couldn't sign on their way in but rather "he was going to tell them when they could sign." He also was going to skip right over our toasts and go into dinner. On the other hand, Michelle was awesome to work with and the photo mirror was a complete success and a lot of fun. This was the only hiccup that we had for the evening. Otherwise, everything else went great.
