  Spectacular! Not one bad thing to say about Nicole!

  She was a pleasure to work with, did my makeup and the makeup for my bridesmaids flawlessly. My sister, who normally doesn’t wear makeup, couldn’t stop staring at herself! Nicole is professional, cute, fun and easy to get along with. I look forward to booking her again in the future!

  Nicole was an amazing makeup artist for my wedding on 8/3/18. She was on time and provided flawless makeup for all my girls! I would definitely recommend her for all needs. She made the day go by so smooth and kept us on track throughout the day! Thanks again for everything!

  The most talented MUA in RVA.

  One of the upsides of having to move my wedding because of COVID was getting to book Nicole for 2021. She did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and myself--we are all of varying skin colors and types and everyone looked stunning. She arrived on time, finished on-time, and was fun to talk to while getting ready. Would recommend her to anyone before she goes off to be a celebrity MUA.

  Wedding Makeup

  Overall, Nicole (and her assisting MUA) did a great job on my make-up for my wedding as well as on my bridesmaids. She was easy to talk to and work with, hence me hiring her. Her contouring techniques are excellent. I paid an additional $50 for my make-up touch-up kit and I paid an additional $20/each for my bridesmaids touch-up kits. They were not complimentary, which was totally fine with me, and as to be expected. Unfortunately, the touch-up lip color she gave me did not match the initial color (which was a mix of colors) she used on me. I did not find this out until it was already on my lips and I was moments away from making my grand entrance. I didn’t like the touch-up color and greatly disliked how it showed up on pictures. Now unfortunately, I have many pictures from the big day that I dislike due to this bad mistake.

  Hello Katrina,
  I apologize for the custom lip color mix up. We spoke about this situation over the phone almost a year ago where I apologized but could not offer you any money refund because again the touch up lipstick was a complimentary gift.
  
  We ended your bridal trial without picking a lip color and was forced to make one on the day of the wedding. After putting the remaining amount of the custom color mixed that day I informed you it was not a huge amount but enough to touch up your lip later. You asked for more so I attempted to make the same color to add to your complimentary sample. Since you all were finishing and preparing to leave for the ceremony I was unable to test out the updated color on you. I could only eyeball the addition added.
  
  I was contacted by you very close to your wedding date and tried with short notice to provide you with everything you envisioned. These types of situations can happen. I also informed you and the bridesmaids, (who also got complimentary touch up kits), how to apply the lip color correctly.
  
  Your bridal makeup was completed with the correct lip color and you found the makeup job satisfactory. From the photos you sent it looks as the touch up color was applied right before the start of your reception.
  
  During our session my makeup chair footrest was broke by a bridesmaids. I never informed you or asked for a payment for my broke equipment.
  
  I apologize again as I did in our earlier conversation. The complimentary sample was made with the best intentions to please my bride. I am happy you were pleased with the over all experience.

  Update: All emails and messages have been saved with pricing info included. The quoted prices are incorrect. Nicole Gore Artistry did not charge $50 or $20 for touch up kits. In addition Nicole Gore Artistry funded all touch kits for all bridesmaids even the ones that were not serviced by her directly.
