    The Exact Person You Want By Your Side On Such a BIG Day!

    I am long overdue in writing this glowing review for Nicole. We were married in 2018. We were new to San Diego and knew nothing about weddings and all the details. Nicole was so transparent and helpful. She is an excellent project manager, event planner, coordinator, and communicator. I enjoyed every detail with her! She offered vendor recommendations in our price range, helped us understand budgets, review contracts and details. She made sure avery minute was thoughtfully planned and accounted for in our plan. Hiring Nicole was THE BEST DECISION we made for our wedding (aside from marrying each other). She is fun, has a great design eye, and shares her priceless experience to inform your decisions. I feel very lucky to have found a wedding coordinator and planner that was so helpful, positive, creative, and down-to-earth. She was great at herding the cats on the wedding day and for rehearsal as well. Nicole offered coordination packages at various price points as well, which was super helpful to maintain our budget.     Simply a joy to work with!

    Hiring Nicole George's team to help us with our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Our coordinator, Rebecca, was calm and professional from the start and we appreciated her well-paced approach in the months leading up to our big day. She took the time to understand what aspects were really important to us and made sure that every detail was covered. Throughout the planning process, we felt supported through every decision and didn't feel pressured in any way.

    Most importantly, we were able to enjoy and savor the entire day (and the days leading up to it) because we knew our vendors, guests, etc. were all taken care of, and any question or worry we had was addressed kindly and promptly. We whole-heartedly recommend Rebecca and Nicole to plan and coordinate your wedding!

    Planning a wedding from 3000 miles away could have been a nightmare, but it was a dream come true because of Nicole George! Professional, organized, capable and kind doesn't even begin to describe what a Godsend this wedding coordinator was. Questions answered promptly, emails returned quickly, and a treasure trove of recommendations, connections, and creative ideas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Nicole is the way to go!

    There are no words that could describe how amazing Nicole and Kathleen were on our wedding day! Our wedding was filled with a lot uncertainties due to COVID-19 traveling restrictions and Nicole was very accommodating in all the last minutes changes we made throughout the planning process. We can truly say that our wedding planning was very smooth and stress-free (thanks to Nicole!). Nicole and Kathleen brought our wedding vision such as the love letter wall, which was definitely the highlight of our wedding, into life and we couldn't be happier with the result. We can't ask for a better team to be a part of our wedding! Thank you Nicole and Kathleen! You guys are AMAZING!

    Amazing support with making our wedding SO perfect!!

    It was so incredible to work with Nicole George Event Planning and Design!!! Nicole and her team were on top of all communications, had such a clear and detailed planning operations & system, and was so kind and thoughtful always!     Nicole George Events

    Let me just start off by saying that Nicole and her team were amazing! I was very particular about how I wanted my wedding and Nicole was calm and gracious throughout the whole process. She was very organized and got back to you within a few hours about questions or concerns. I sent her my vision and stuff I specifically did not want and she did amazing with listening to my needs and concerns. Even in the last minute, when we had issues with our florist, Nicole and her team went out of their way to find me a new florist that did even BETTER than the one I had before. You cannot go wrong with Nicole! Thank you Nicole and team for making our day so memorable and amazing!

    Our Wedding was so Beautiful and Perfectly Organized!

    We knew booking Nicole George Events for our wedding was the right choice from the first phone call with Nicole George herself. She was so professional and detail-oriented which is exactly what you want from a wedding planner. She listened to our needs for our wedding and helped us decide that going with her wedding coordinator package would be the best choice for us.

    We then continued working with Kathleen who was amazing from start to finish. She met with us about 7-8 months before our original wedding date to get a better understanding of how we wanted our wedding to go. She asked all the right questions and covered all details. Kathleen was also very helpful when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and she was with us every step of the way. She kept us on track and we never felt rushed when wedding planning.

    On the actual day of our wedding, Kathleen and her team took care of everything and all we had to do was sit back and relax until the ceremony. She coordinated with all our vendors to arrive accordingly and she took care of all set-up. We were blown away by how beautiful both our ceremony and reception were, and we continue to get compliments from our guests about our wedding. We highly recommend booking Nicole George Events for your wedding!

    SoCal Planner Perfection!

    Nicole was a recommended planner from our original venue, and we are so glad we found her. We hired Nicole in 2019 and finally got married in June 2021. She was calm, courteous, and extremely thorough, ALWAYS. I never shied away from sharing my opinion and she was so patient through the ups and downs of my emotions with all of the wedding uncertainty that COVID brought. From a change of venue, change of wedding day, and going from 175 guests down to 60, Nicole was able to coordinate all of the communications and changes with grace. Our big day was SO special, and SO fun. There was never a doubt in my mind that Nicole would cover every base and be prepared for every scenario. We have family still telling us how special and intimate our ceremony was, and how delicious and amazing our reception was. So much of that we owe to Nicole George Events!

    NGE is the best!

    Nicole and her team were incredible! She helped us seamlessly navigate all the twists and turns throughout our 2-year planning process due to the pandemic. She was thoughtful, detailed, communicative, and an absolute joy to work with throughout our entire planning process. She also has a great roster of vendor recommendations, and knows exactly how to de-code the world of vendor communication! Simply put, she made wedding planning look easy. Her flexibility and creativity were very much appreciated, and my husband and I would highly recommend her!

    Simply the best wedding planner imaginable

    Nicole and the NGE team were, as the title suggests, the best wedding planners we could have ever imagined. We had to go through a Covid postponement and she handled all of the logistics with our vendors without a hitch and with incredible patience and flexibility. In terms of our actual event at the Darlington House, it was better than we could have ever hoped for. Nicole's planning and unique design touch really made the difference. We cannot recommend enough.

    Exceptional wedding planning services

    Since the day I first spoke with Nicole, I knew NGE was the right planner for my wedding. Kathleen & Nicole have made everything so easy and stress free for me. On top of providing exceptional wedding planning services, they have really been there for me through this difficult time. Its not easy to postpone your wedding but with NGE by my side, it has made the process so much easier.

    Nicole's team was excellent!

    We had our wedding at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and Nicole and her team need a wonderful job working with us. Totally accommodating and on point. She made sure we were taken care of with everything before and on the day! Even last minute changes, she was on top of and making sure that our day was extremely special. the Vendors she provided were excellent. We could not have done it without her!

    Nicole made our day absolutely PERFECT!

    This review is long overdue, but as my husband Jake and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary this past weekend we could not help but reminisce about the impact delivered by Nicole George as she helped turn our dream wedding into reality. Nicole showcases an innate, uncanny ability to organize weddings in the most professional manner. In preparation of the big day she scheduled multiple check-ins and walkthrough visits of our venue.

    During the first time we met with her she listened carefully to our vision and asked thoughtful questions to gain further clarity when needed as we walked around the premise. The second meeting included a blueprint diagram Nicole designed on her computer of the property layout so we could easily see how she began bringing our wedding to life - the venue themselves even asked for a copy of the design for their records!

    Over the course of the next couple months Nicole coordinated multiple vendor meetings for us. Each time we concluded a meeting we left feeling confident that Nicole’s goal was to help optimize our budget by finding items that provided the greatest impact without compromising our vision.

    On the day of the wedding Nicole’s organizational skills continued to shine. A flawless timeline left no awkward gaps at any time during the day and nothing ever felt rushed. In fact, both independent vendors working with Nicole for the first time and multiple wedding guests came up to Jake and I with positive comments about the flawlessly executed day.

    All in all, weddings can often feel chaotic. Nicole not only delivers on everything she both promises and one would expect from a top-tier wedding coordinator, but her eye for design and last minute adjustments to provide a dream wedding left our wedding guests in awe and reliving the event more than a year later!

    Intimate Destination Wedding with NGE

    I feel silly because I'm getting slightly emotional thinking about how amazing of a job Nicole and Nicole George Events did planning our intimate, 25 guest destination wedding in San Diego. I'm not sure how to accurately convey all that they did for my husband, but I'll try! :)

    As we live across the country, I found NGE on social media and immediately knew I HAD to contact her about being our wedding planner. When I saw her eye-catching and original ceremony/reception design in photos, I knew she would be a perfect fit with the non-traditional and modern vibe we were going for. We used the Full Service package for our 7 months of planning time and it was worth every penny. She helped us find the perfect venue and vendors based on our style and budget like she had known us for years! I felt 'understood' by and comfortable with Nicole from the very first phone call.

    As we weren't able to have many meetings in person, I knew communication would be CRUCIAL in the planning process and Nicole did not disappoint. Her ability to compose and organize emails in a way that clearly outlines and explains her thoughts, questions, and reminders was excellent. She was flexible with her schedule for phone conversations and always made herself available if I needed to call on short notice. She always let me know every detail of what was happening and when as I requested- I wanted to be involved in the planning 100% and I was via email even all the way from Florida! When I felt stressed or worried about anything, she was there to calm my nerves and reassure me. She gave me the confidence to trust our decisions and that what we were planning together would be amazing- and I did, and it was! On the other hand, she also spoke up when she thought something wasn't looking right or didn't fit with our design aesthetic, which I really appreciated and respected.

    Nicole excelled at every aspect of planning our wedding, however I was especially impressed by her on the day of. When I walked into the venue, I was in awe of how every piece of furniture, floral arrangement, signage, and decor fit into the space seamlessly. She really listened to my vision for the wedding vibe/design, understood it, and made it come to life perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised to see she made last minute layout and decor positioning changes because despite our planning diagrams, it didn't work out as planned on the day of. I love that she recognized the problems and made changes on the fly, ultimately making a significant improvement! Also, her coordination of the timing of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dances, and dinner was on pointe. Everything happened on time and I wasn't even sure she was there lol despite quiet and helpful reminders about the beginning of cake cutting, speeches, etc. Our wedding day could not have gone more smoothly and I'm sure that's just how she planned it to be!

    Finally, I am so thankful to have met a person like Nicole. She is warm, relatable, diligent, and most importantly professional- definitely the kind of person you wouldn't mind emailing back and forth with multiple times a day. You can tell she is very passionate about her work and making your wedding the best it can be which was clearly demonstrated throughout every step of the planning process. It was MY pleasure to work with her and I would recommend her highly.

    We are soooo thankful that we decided to work with Nicole and her team! We could not have done it without them, seriously. So if you’re reading this (unabridged version)…do yourself a favor, stop and go book them for your event! We met with Nicole and Kathleen and were impressed by their organized, approachable and detail oriented natures. They explained the services thoroughly, addressed our questions and better yet, we felt ZERO pressure to book right away. Since our wedding was less than 4 months away, we chose the partial planning package but Nicole offered to create a custom one. She mentioned that Kathleen’s specialty was partial planning and was available! Kathleen is so awesome and it was clear right away that it was indeed her specialty! She took over and created a schedule prioritizing all of the remaining tasks. She closely reviewed all of our contracts to catch errors, offering suggestions on ways to save money as well as adding things we had not considered. She was very communicative with us and all of our vendors. For other vendors, they both provided contacts that fit our budget and style. She sent gentle, yet assertive reminders (I needed that for sure!) Kathleen is such a genuinely sweet and thoughtful person. She was compassionate about a sensitive family situation making sure to take that into consideration in planning for the wedding day. She is seriously amazing and helped it all feel 100% less overwhelming. I can’t even express what a relief it was to have Kathleen facilitating on the wedding day itself. She coordinated everything regarding the wedding timeline, vendor arrivals, set-up/breakdown and and and… If there was an issue, she handled it. Everything was just beautiful. She seamlessly arranged every detail to create the style we wanted. Having her there allowed us to enjoy the day to the fullest. We are both so grateful to her for everything she did to make our wedding the most memorable. We highly recommend them! For real though.

    We just got back from our honeymoon, and we are still blown away at how perfect the big day was and how much Nicole had to do with that. She was amazingly attentive and has the process down to a science, including monthly checkins and to-do lists that are manageable and make the month leading up to the wedding extremely laid back. On top of this, Nicole's experience working with lots of other vendors in the SoCal area was worth its weight in gold, as she had valuable insight on comparing quotes and services. Overall, Nicole was far and away the best choice when it came to our wedding, and while I don't plan on getting married again.. if i did, I'd call Nicole!

    If I could offer only one bridal tip, it would be to hire Nicole. She was organized, thoughtful and consistently available. She went above and beyond the "month of" duties I had hired her for. She was my voice in a world that is unknown and kept me grounded during the most stressful portions of my wedding. She made sure I ate, stayed hydrated, and remained calm. The mantra on my wedding day was "Someone get Nicole!" She was not only the most important part of my day (Minus marrying my best friend) but she was so wonderful, I feel like I've made a lifetime friend. If you do nothing else, hire this girl!

    A dream come true!

    Nicole George and her team are absolutely incredible! We had a very specific vision for our wedding, with two separate venues, a small intimate ceremony and dinner with 40 individuals followed by a reception party at our favorite neighborhood bar with nearly 100 attendees. Nicole brought our vision to life and delivered us an experience that exceeded our expectations! She flawlessly guided us through the planning process, which allowed us to enjoy the creation of our dream wedding, while she skillfully managed the execution. We felt totally taken care of leading up to, and especially on, the day of our wedding. She really helped design the most magical experience for us and our guests. We were able to be fully immersed in every moment of our day as everything unfolded seamlessly. Not to mention, she and her team are a joy to be around, and exactly the calm and professional presence you want around on your wedding day!     Efficient. Nice. Understanding. Nicole is the best.

    Nicole stuck with us through a pandemic (our original wedding date was March 2020) for over 2 years - kept in touch with us throughout, coordinated with our many vendors, helped tough through 3 schedule changes - and then absolutely nailed it on our eventual wedding ceremony in June 2022. She’s the best. We highly recommend her. She has an amazing taste for aesthetic; she is efficient, and above all else, she is nice and helpful and understanding. Just a wonderful human being all-around. Thank you, Nicole!

    The Best of the Best

    Nicole George was a literal angel to work with. She was was height of professional while also being kind and thoughtful.

    She managed our wedding before and mainly during the pandemic. We started in 2019 and got married in 2021. We had to move our event twice for safety. I thought about backing out a million times not because of her, but the situation. I was/am maybe the most checked out bride/person ever but, her system made it possible for even me to mange. And we are both very happy we stuck it out to have celebrated, but also keep it as safe an event as possible.

    She thought of literally everything from a beautiful bouquet she sent to honor our original wedding date (which we even forgot about it) to dropping off my dress/flowers at our hotel after our reception when my entire family drunkenly forgot their one responsibility that night… everything at my wedding was perfect.

    The experience made me want to have more events to throw in the future just so I can use her services and I’m the least social person I know. She was wonderful!

    Best Decision We Made!

    Hiring Nicole and her team was the single best decision we made regarding our wedding planning. Her title “owner and creative director” is exactly correct - she strikes the perfect balance between completely handling the logistical element of wedding planning and understanding the emotional and visual impact we wanted our wedding to have. From the design conception to running the show on the day-of, Nicole was the perfect person to have. She went along with our wacky ideas and nudged us in the right direction when she needed to.     A dream team!

    My husband and I have been imagining what our perfect wedding would be like for a very long time and the NGE team really brought all we hoped for to life.

    We started working with Rebecca and Nicole in January and, in only a few short months, we got married in April. During that time, this amazing team helped us secure the right vendors and make key decisions even during a very busy wedding year when many venues and vendors were already booked up.

    Rebecca was on top of our to-do lists and timelines, and was always available to offer guidance, recommendations and to answer each and every one of our questions. She was always organized, and planned two steps ahead for everything, but was warm, friendly, and fun through it all.

    Nicole helped us design a wedding that felt true to who we are as individuals and as a couple. She understood our vision and made it better. It was important that the wedding felt like us, from the actual design of the space to the comfy vibe of the evening—both Nicole and Rebecca definitely delivered on that in their respective ways.

    The day of the wedding went so smoothly and we had the best time of our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better team and will always be grateful to Nicole and Rebecca for making this day simply magical.

    Nicole George makes planning your wedding easy

    We recently had the joy of working with Nicole George and Rebecca Lissoy in planning our wedding and they made the whole process so convenient and wonderful.

    They really helped with organization and planning by providing a web platform to keep track of tasks, giving regular reminders, and excellent recommendations. Their professionalism in the industry has made them familiar with many other vendors, so they were able to recommend services we were missing with people they knew, and whenever we mentioned Nicole George's name, other vendors instantly recognized them.

    We didn't have a lot of experience with attending weddings and weren't familiar with a lot of traditions, but Nicole and Rebecca have a lot of insight and were understanding with our lack of experience. They explained traditions and ideas that they had seen other couples do and gave us options on what to do, so we got to customize the experience with them.

    On the day of the wedding, Nicole and Rebecca helped guide the event behind the scenes and checked in only when necessary, which allowed us to feel comfortable and relaxed. Everything went amazing and we were able to really enjoy the event. Thank you Nicole George and Rebecca Lissoy!

    Absolutely perfect!!!

    Working with Kathleen at Nicole George Event Planning & Design was absolutely perfect in every way.

    From day one, Kathleen took time to really get to know my husband and I- what we cared about most and what we envisioned for our wedding reception. She was extremely responsive and always willing to lend a hand. It really put my mind at ease knowing that she was there- and she always answered so quickly which I appreciated.

    When COVID hit and we sadly had to postpone our reception, I turned to Kathleen and she couldn't have been more helpful. She contacted each and every one of our vendors and helped us pick a new date. She constantly stayed in touch with us and stayed on top of the vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch as we got closer to our new date.

    Finally the day of the reception came! Kathleen was at the venue early making sure all the vendors were on time and that everything looked perfect! She even texted me the morning of- and it was the reassurance I completely needed. The reception honestly could not have been more perfect- it was everything we dreamed of and more- and this would have never been possible without Kathleen's help. She event we so far as to take pictures of all the details of the venue because she knew I wouldn't have time or would forget!

    I can honestly say that Kathleen went above and beyond. She made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with and gave our reception 110%. I would recommend her to anyone and have already given her name to a few close friends.

    How to enjoy your wedding

    Our wedding coordinator, Kathleen, made all the difference in our wonderful weekend of celebration. Planning a wedding in another city during a pandemic can be high stress. She understood what we were trying to create and kept everyone on plan to make sure it was a fabulous wedding. We couldn't have done it without Kathleen.
