Nicole is FANTASTIC. She was the first and only photographer that we talked to, and we knew right away that we would be hiring her. She's felt like a friend i've known for years. She provided great service from our engagement pictures to planning the wedding and on the actual day. On the day of, her and her second shooter Jessica got every shot we wanted and more, with time to spare. Our families and bridal party were nothing but impressed with the two of them. Her pricing was affordable (compared to others in the area) for what was truly incredible service. I would 10000% recommend Nicole (and have, she's shooting our friend's wedding next month). The best! -

Nicole is absolutely amazing and we are so, so glad we booked her as our engagement/wedding photographer. Her portfolio undoubtedly speaks for itself and shows off her incredible talent, and her energy and spirit on our wedding day were unmatched. We received SO many amazing photos and they capture the entire day so perfectly. It is actually impossible for me to choose a favorite because there are just so many great ones, both posed and candid. Nicole is also incredible to be around. She was helpful, kind, the ultimate hype woman, and FUN! All of our wedding guests actually thought she was a long time friend because she was with us on the dance floor, documenting the night. We truly couldn’t have asked for better and are so grateful to Nicole for delivering photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives! -

Book Nicole - You won't regret it!
My wedding photos are everything I've dreamed of! Nicole and her team were FANTASTIC! I am so grateful the stars aligned and I was able to book her for my Oct 2020 wedding. When we moved our wedding the first time, I couldn't make our previous photographer work and I was so upset. but Nicole came in and blew us away!! She is an expert at what she does!! She knew right where to jump in at all times. She directed us so well so all of our portrait and family photos while completely respecting all social distancing needs. Photos went by so quickly and came out so beautifully. I am very very pick about photography so it was so important to me to have someone capture our day perfectly. The day of our wedding, there was a unpredictable traffic emergency that closed the bay bridge and delayed nicole from getting to us as planned and she did not skip a BEAT! Her assistant Jess showed up and filled us in and we didn't have any issues. She handled it so incredibly professionally and did not show any stress. Nicole showed up right around our first look and jumped right in. Our wedding photos are something we will treasure forever and I highly recommend you book Nicole! -

We love Nicole!
We had the best time at our wedding and Nicole managed to catch every single minute of happiness! Not only is she a trooper for sticking with us through 3 different wedding dates (thanks Covid) but she kept the energy high and everyone engaged on our big unseasonably 100+ degree day. Everyone was sweating buckets but she managed to hide every bead of sweat in our photos, we are so impressed! Not only did she get all out requested shots in but she also managed to sneak us away for more private portraits in a more secluded area within the venue which turned out incredible. The best part was our spontaneous trip to Thomas Sweet for some ice cream thanks to Nicole! Best way to get rid of those pre-nuptial jitters and were so grateful she made us do it and captured the moment for us! Nicole brought our garden wedding to life and made all the colors pop. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos! -

Nicole and her assistant went above and beyond at our wedding. We had an issue with the weather…aka a giant hail storm and thunderstorm blew through right when we went to take pictures…Nicole immediately regrouped and captured so many fantastic moments. I was really impressed not only with her work, but with her overall demeanor and personality. She did an amazing job!!! -

Nicole was an absolute amazing photographer. Extremely professional and so easy to work with. On the big day she knew exactly which photos needed to be taken and executed each one with amazing efficiency. The photos turned out great and she provided over 1000 photos in our gallery. Overall working with Nicole was the one of the best decisions we made. I would highly recommend her services. -

Tired of the washed out wedding photos all over your instagram feed? Want photos that beautifully capture the light AND are vibrant and colorful? Want a photographer who is reasonably priced but knows her stuff? Go with Nicole Barr photography.
We were initially drawn to Nicole because she specialized in night time photography and we knew we were having a clear top tent. A few other photographers we considered working with encouraged us to reconsider this plan, but Nicole assured us it would be no problem.
I knew we made the right choice when we met for our engagement shoot and Nicole immediately put my nervous then-fiance at ease. She made the entire process fun and relaxed, and our engagement photos turned out beautifully.
On our wedding day, Nicole worked with our coordinator to make sure the trains ran on time and captured every moment beautifully. She knew when to interject to get the right shot and when to let things play out naturally. Our gallery is a gorgeous mixture of posed and candid, vibrant color and black and white, decorative details and the people we love most.
I can't say enough good things about Nicole. Book her today!

Ashley Sent on 06/30/2018Nicole went out of her way to make our day extraordinary! She was excited to give us recommendations for other vendors and sit down to plan for our big day. Nicole could direct our bridal party efficiently but in a kind way! She captured little moments that we missed on our wedding day. Her photos capture our happiness and excitement of friends and family. She was able to capture dance moves and sunset photos all at once. We would reccomend Nicole hands down!

Her responsiveness and all around help in the months leading up to our wedding blew me away - she offered wonderful advice and suggestions for not just pictures but overall for the whole day. On the day of our wedding, Nicole was such a calming, fun presence and I had multiple family and wedding party members comment to me how much they enjoyed her and how fun the pictures were to take. Nicole was incredibly flexible on the day-of, and adjusted our whole timeline when some transportation issues threw off our timing for the day. She is such a professional and a wonderful photographer to work with! -

Crystal Sent on 08/18/2015OMG, Nicole is amazing to work with. She makes you feel so comfortable, I found her on facebook from a friend of mine who used her for her wedding. Her photos speak for themselves. She pays attention to every detail and listens to everything you want and is open to suggestions on additional shots you may want to add. She is extremely responsive and will even respond to you late night at 1am if you are up at that time and need to talk through an idea. She is dedicated to her work and will make sure you are a priority when she is with you. We got the whole package with Nicole from a wonderful person to great photos quickly. She worked with Kyle and I on our busy weekend schedule while trying to get engagement photos done to our crazy large families on wedding day. She was there bright and early on the wedding day taking as many photos as she could. She goes above and beyond what is asked of her and I completely trusted her. She will capture all your moments you are looking for as well as through in some shots you would have never thought you would like but you actually LOVE. She keeps to the schedule you go through with her ahead of time and she makes sure she is prepared. There are many email exchanges that occur as well as final client meetings to review the day of details and shot list as well as for our package she was there for rehearsal and rehearsal dinner as well, which was something I never knew I would want but when she was there I was so thankful. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease but she makes sure to get things done efficiently. Overall I would highly recommend Nicole for any future Brides. She will not only be your wedding photographer but I have a strong feeling she will be my only photographer going forward for anything and everything I may need. Nicole thank you so much for all you did for Kyle and I. We are extremely thankful! -
User1644205 Sent on 06/03/2014Nicole was my absolute favorite vendor of our whole wedding experience. She takes amazing photos, beautiful candids, and makes hours of photography fun. She captured every single photo I hoped she would, all while remaining unnoticed during special and intimate moments. She had great ideas for group shots and was up for new ideas we threw at her. Some people take classes to become photographers but Nicole was born with the eye for it! -
