  The best!

  Nicodem Creative was nothing short of amazing during our entire wedding experience. From our engagement pictures in Chicago to our wedding day in June, they were the BEST to work with! We got to work with Andrew and his assistant Emily, and they made the picture taking experience so fun and seamless for us and our entire wedding party (and, our dogs during the engagement session)! We would recommend them to everyone looking for not only beautiful quality pictures but also genuinely great people to work with during such a special event in your life. We were super happy with everything!! :)

  Elegant and Timeless Wedding Photography

  Andrew and Marianne are such a joy to work with! They photographed our Rehearsal Dinner + Wedding Day last October and we couldn't be happier with all the sweet memories they captured! Their photography is classic, elegant, and timeless — exactly what we envisioned. They work incredibly well together, and are a lot of fun to be around! They were helpful from the moment we booked them, all the way through our wedding day and beyond. We are so appreciative of all their time and hard work!

  Amazing Photographers!

  I cannot recommend Marianne and Andrew enough. They are so talented and organized. I felt like they were both our day-of wedding planners - they kept the day moving so well with a lot of moving parts. We are so happy with our pictures. The quality, poses, candids, and colors are beautiful. Andrew made the trip to Wisconsin to take our engagement pictures, which meant so much to us. Photography was really important to us and Nicodem did not disappoint. Aside from their amazing work, Marianne and Andrew are wonderful people to share your big day with - they are fun, upbeat, and very relaxed. HIGHLY recommend Nicodem Creative!

  Five star photos!

  Marianne and Andrew are the epitome of a dynamic duo! We had the pleasure of securing them for our engagement photos (March '20), micro wedding (Sept '20), and formal wedding (Sept '21). Prior to signing the contract, Marianne thoroughly explained the entire process and offered so many great suggestions. Andrew was our photographer for our 2020 events but we will have both Andrew & Marianne for 2021. We can't wait to work with them again! Their photo quality is truly impressive. Thank you for creating everlasting memories!

  Best choice of the day

  Marianne and Andrew are incredible! They are the most genuinely kind couple I've ever met, and our entire bridal party said the same. They kicked off our wedding week by sending a note and flowers to our home--it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming way to start the week. Most importantly, they captured the most beautiful photos, and were intentional in capturing plenty of candid photos, as we’d shared were our preference.
  
  Things are a bit overwhelming on your wedding day, but Marianne and Andrew showed up early, and took things above and beyond when they arrived knowing the names of our entire bridal party. I've been in 6 weddings and have never seen professional photographers go that extra mile. That effort helped photos go smoothly and really made everyone feel seen and comfortable.
  
  We splurged a bit with pictures, and it was 1000% worth it. I recommend them to EVERYONE and my husband and I will hire them again for all of life's important moments. Marianne and Andrew, thank you for capturing the love in our relationship and in the room on our wedding day. We'll cherish the memories forever.

  Loved Nicodem Creative

  Working with Marianne and Andrew was the easiest wedding decision we made! During the planning process, it was SO helpful to have two people with a lot of experience and knew how much time was needed for everything. It really helped us prepare for what to expect and nail down specifics.
  On the day of the wedding, they gave great direction, were very organized, and there were no surprises! You could just tell Marianne and Andrew were professionals and that you were in great hands (which means we could relax and enjoy the day!) To top it off, we couldn’t be happier with the beautiful photos we received.
  By the end of the night, these photographers are more than just “vendors”. You spend the whole day with them so it really helps to have two friendly, down to earth, and FUN people with you. We are so glad we went with Nicodem Creative 😊

  LGBTQ+ Wedding Photographer

  We found Nicodem Creative as a suggestion from our Wedding Coordinator (Olive Fine Weddings) and fell in love with their style and photos off their website portfolio. We knew we had to have them as our photographers. We met with them over drinks at a great, comfortable location in Chicago and they let us know their approach to weddings. Basically, they approach it as a member of the family who just happens to have a camera. They could not have been more accurate in their description. The day of our celebration, they seamlessly became part of our family and caught so many perfect moments throughout the day. We are in love with every single photo, it is hard to pick just one that is our favorite. They were perfect with the small children in our extended family, coaching them through photos like a distantly related, cool cousin, who knew exactly how to work with small children, yet remained professional and calm throughout the hectic day. They really did become part of our family that day. Their work speaks for itself, but we cannot say enough about how amazing and welcoming they were. Being their first same-sex wedding was an honor, and we strongly recommend them to any couple tying the knot, LGBTQ or otherwise.

  10/10 Would Recommend!!!

  I've procrastinated writing this review. You know why? Because I'm a terrible salesperson and yet ALL I want to do is go door to door and explain to people why they should be booking Nicodem for all life events they want truly captured forever. I wouldn't even need to speak, just show these beautiful and honestly real pictures of one of the happiest days I'm my life.
  First- they take the time to get to know you! It wasn't just "so how did you meet?" (It was that too, because who doesn't like sharing that part?) but spent that extra time to learn about our lives and interests. They stayed in touch through the wedding planning process. They worked wonderfully with our planner. Any question I had? They either had the answer or could give us advice to decide it for ourselves.
  On our actual wedding day? There aren't words. I think at least half the wedding guests have told us how lovely they were to have around. We didn't feel watched, but instead often forgot we even were being photographed!
  They set clear expectations for when we'd receive our images and while waiting is the hardest part I'm so happy I did. The images are exactly right- they bring back the feeling of those specific moments (all 900+ of them!!). I feel beautiful, and I don't always love pictures of me.
  My one regret and advice to you- don't forget to ask for a picture WITH THEM! I can't believe I didn't ask for one, and wish I had. That's literally my only regret.
  I'm not going to tell you to rush to book them right away- but you should meet with them. Look at their work. Let it speak to you, because it does to me.

  I've been a fan of their work for a long time and booked them before I even booked my venue! Their photographs are clean and natural and totally timeless. And their video is super high quality. Our video blew us away!
  
  Shooting an Indian wedding is a big task! They perfectly captured all the important details and special ceremonious moments that mattered to us most. They also worked extremely well with our other vendors to ensure the three-day bash was executed to perfection.
  
  We've gotten so many compliments from our wedding party and friends on how friendly they were during the events and on the extremely high quality of their photography and videography.
  
  Book them! You won't regret it :)

  Marianne and Drew are a dream to work with. We have already communicated extensively and have had our engagement photos and cannot wait to have them shoot our wedding. I'll provide an updated review of them then, but they are lovely people, so positive, full of such energy and ideas, and a good price. Highly recommend!

  Choose Nicodem!

  Nicodem was amazing to work with! We did so much research into photographers, and we couldn't be more glad that we ended with them. Neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera, but from our first time working with Andrew at our engagement session, he made us feel comfortable immediately and we actually had fun! The wedding day was no different - even amid the anxiety and stress, Andrew had a way of putting us at ease and helped everything to run smoothly. Even in the time leading up to our wedding day, Nicodem was incredibly sweet - they sent us digital prints from our engagement session at Christmas, and flowers a month before the big day. We just got some sneak peek photos and they are GORGEOUS. We are so grateful we picked Nicodem for our photography and cannot wait to see our final photos!
