Nick was an absolutely amazing musician and DJ to work with! He played live music and deejayed at party we had last weekend, and everyone was raving about how talented he was. The dance floor was crowded all night, Nick did a great job reading the room and playing songs that got people up and dancing. Highly recommend hiring Nick for any event you are hosting! -

Nick is such a multi-talented musician. We had him playing acoustic guitar and uke at our ceremony and happy hour, and then DJ and announcer for the reception. He did such an amazing job with all of it!! We were so excited to have one person for all our music needs. Everyone loved it, and the dance floor was hopping all night! Thanks Nick!! -

Blown out of the water by Nick! He was so easy to work with, very straightforward with what he needed from me regarding song preferences and suggestions a month before the wedding. We hired him for both live ceremony/cocktail and DJ at reception. I let him know before hand (warned him) that both my mother and my mother-in-law would be a lot to handle (lol) at the wedding regarding trying to grab the mic and trying to convince him to play “their” music. Kudos to you! You honored my request to play what my husband and I wanted only! Thank you! My husband and I had a moment during our cocktail hour where we actually looked at each other and heard one of our songs “Yellow” by Coldplay and it felt magical. My husband and I danced all night and that’s all that matters!! -

If you are looking for an incredibly talented, professional, kind, and enthusiastic wedding singer who can also play acoustic guitar and ukulele exceptionally well, then stop your search because you have found all of that in Nick Weiss!
My husband and I hired Nick to sing and play an acoustic music set for the farewell brunch during our wedding weekend in Palm Desert this fall, and we could not have been more thrilled with the experience! First, we decided fairly late in the planning process that it would be such a treat to have an acoustic singer for part of our wedding weekend, and Nick made himself readily available only 6 weeks before the event. He reached out to us for inspiration regarding the vibe we were hoping to achieve, and even requested that we send a list of songs we would like to hear during the event. I absolutely love music and sent a pretty ambitious list of favorites about a month before the big day. By day of the event, Nick had mastered every song we requested, and he included them all in our set! We were so impressed by this, as it really exemplified his obvious dedication to and love of his work. I also shared with Nick that one of the reasons we were initially drawn to working with him was the beautiful cover of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” he played on his website, which was my late mother’s favorite song. When he played that song at our event, my dad, siblings, and I all gathered around him and sang with him. This small gesture was such a special surprise for my family, because it was one more way in which we could include my mom in our wedding weekend, even though she couldn’t be there in person. Nick totally understood that and it made the experience even more memorable! Finally, Nick was also truly a joy to work with. He was hardworking, professional, kind, and easygoing, even staying longer than his original contract specified until the last guest had left. We were so incredibly happy to have Nick as part of our special weekend, and our guests have continued to compliment his work regularly in the months since the event. We can’t recommend working with Nick Weiss Music highly enough for your special day, and we feel confident that you will be just as happy with his exceptional work as we are!

Sharon Sent on 01/20/2018I am not musical in anyway and my only request for a DJ was that he not be annoying as an MC. My husband took on the task of finding a DJ and was thorough in his search. We had a great call with Nick and felt confident that he could meet my husband’s needs and not mess up my one request. Nick was fantastic. He played acoustic guitar before the ceremony and our requested songs during it, he played and sang during the cocktail hour, and became our DJ for the party. He was a great MC when needed and a great DJ all night. We provided specific song requests for key moments and talked with him about what we like. I appreciated that he did a great job of appropriate music selection with very little guidance from us (although I know he would have taken more specifics into account had we provided them). Thank you Nick!!!

User1106481 Sent on 03/10/2013Nick did a fantastic job playing accoustic guitar and ukelele at my wedding. I was a destination bride and heavily relied on contact via phone and email. Nick was very responsive throughout all the planning. I live in Hawaii and had the wedding in San Diego so I was thrilled that Nick was able to provide some Aloha with his uke playing. Having live music is key during the ceremony and first dances. Nick will learn a song if he doesn't already know it, though we did not need him to do so since he knew everything we wanted. We didn't have a set list of songs for the entire event, but we didn't need one since Nick knew our style and knew what songs would work. You won't be disappointed if you pick Nick. -

Kira Sent on 07/06/2011Nick played at our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was PHENOMENAL. He worked with us to customize the ceremony and played absolutely beautifully! We were very particular about what music we wanted and he did such a great job - I was very impressed.
Our friends and family absolutely loved him at the cocktail hour and everyone asked where we found him! He is very talented, has great taste and is a really genuinely nice guy. Really easy to talk to and plan with as well - which is a bonus for wedding vendors! -

We had him play acoustic guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour and take over traditional DJ and emcee duties for the reception. We were very happy with how everything worked out and enjoyed both the music Nick performed himself and chose for the reception.
He was good about asking us what songs we wanted and styles that fit our personalities. The music selection kept the party going and all the guests enjoyed it.
