True Professional, Excellent Artist

Nick is great to work with and a fantastic artist. He recently played for an intimate dinner party I hosted for my wife's birthday at the Westin Galleria (also great venue)). Not only was Nick's playing exceptional, he is extremely personable and mixed with our 20 guests easily. He connected with the Westin event planner I was working with, arrived 45 mins early and entertained us for 3 hours with a great variety of music. I had something special in mind for the recessional and he was able to deliver! It was so special to walk down the aisle to his music. All my guests commented on how much they enjoyed Nick! Thank you Nick! I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a professional musician.

Amazing Jazz & Classical Guitar music on our wedding day!!

We were so fortunate to be able to work with Nick. He is an amazing musician and was very flexible and patient on helping us prepare our big day. We spend time talking about what kind of music we would like to infuse to our wedding, and Nick and the Jazz Trio set the tone perfectly. His music is fantastic and the Jazz Trio was a blast on our wedding day. My Dad is a musician and it was amazing for him to be able to meet Nick and the Jazz Trio. Our family and friends enjoyed and praised on our wedding day music a lot. Again, it's such a pleasure working with Nick, and we hope everyone who is reading this post will immediately contact Nick! It's just so lucky to have Nick on our big day!!

Best Quality Guitarist

Nick is so talented. He made my ceremony! He learned three songs completely from scratch for us and they were phenomenal! So very happy to have had him. I will definitely use him again!

We hired Nick to provide background music at our reception for Stanford Law School alumni. He was prompt, flexible, dedicated, and attentive to the event and my needs as an event manager. He was also extremely pleasant and easy to work with, and of course he is very talented at his craft. The next time I am in Dallas and need a live musician, Nick is the first person I will go to. He is an excellent teammate and I'd highly recommend him for any event.

Nick's Trio was the highlight of our evening. We created an event for 250 in a lounge setting and Nick's music was enjoyed by all. The trio was professional, talented and very easy to work with. We look forward to having them perform at our events in the future.

Nick was an absolute joy to work with for our conference reception.
We held a Parts and Service Manager conference for Porsche dealers and each night we held a reception welcoming the attendees. Nick played for each nightly event and it was the perfect music for our dinner. Nick was extremely easy to work with and he was very flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend Nick if you are planning an event.

Nick was amazing! I reached out to Nick last minute for a corporate function where we needed a solo musician for ambiance. Nick was super responsive and helpful from the get go. Nick completely understood our need for his beautiful music while also understanding that our networking among executives was most important and the music could not interrupt this. He totally respected this and his playing was not only amazing and perfect for our event but also at the perfect sound level. I would highly recommend Nick and will most definitely call on him again in the future!

Nick was fantastic and so easy to work with. He played during my ceremony and also during my brunch reception! He worked with my venue to make sure everything was set up perfectly on the day, and he even brought a microphone for my officiant to use. He was so accommodating with my music choices, I had something special in mind for the recessional and he was able to deliver! It was so special to walk down the aisle to his music. He also provided perfect music for the brunch reception. All my guests commented on how much they liked the music! Thank you, Nick! I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a musician.

If there was a 10 star option, I would rate this trio a ten! Professional, prompt and always prepared. Most important - the music is outstanding! 250 people attended our event and many compliments were received on the fantastic, elegant music. We couldn't be happier and will definitely book again in the future.

Nick was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. I cannot speak highly enough to the service, flexibility, and performance that Nick gave for our event. He continued to accommodate us from start to finish as we had many moving pieces. Nick was patient and willing to work with us every step of the way. As a musician, the care and quality of his instruments reflects in his performance and it set the mood for our event. He played a variety of music all found entertaining and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend him for future events - professional or personal.

The music at our June 30 wedding was lovely and Nick was sweet about accompanying our wedding singer as additional service music. I relied on his experience and website to make the anxiety level manageable. The Laurel was absolutely right to recommend him.

I had a wonderful experience with Nick and his duo (saxophone player) and trio (sax/bass). They were very professional and did everything I asked for. Nick has played at our corporate board meeting dinner at the George Bush Library museum and the performance was absolutely wonderful. It was perfect and subtle and just the right kind of music for the dinner. I would highly recommend Nick for any event and we hope to work with him again in the future.

Nick was a real treat for our event. Our family gave an 80th Birthday Party for our mother. There were 16 people there and I was concerned before the event the music would be too loud for conversation. But that was not the case. Nick played at a level that was a perfect compliment to the event. Nick was so good that I asked him to play during the dinner itself!

I would highly recommend his services to anyone. I will also use him again in the future.

Highly recommended. Nick played before and during our daughters wedding ceremony, then afterword with his trio for the reception. Both were excellent. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Nick and the members took time to learn special request for first dance. A great experience.

They have person selection of the ceremony music and there are a lot of choices. Just a reminder that if your venue has their own professional sound system, it will be better. Ashton Gardens only has that in the chapel , but not the reception. If they have, the reception jazz band will sound a lot better.

Everyone loved the guitar music at the ceremony. Nick also played during the cocktail hour but the acoustics at our venue did not allow his wonderful music to be heard even though he had an amplifier. I would highly recommend him.

I had a very non-traditional wedding as far as music goes and they were very accommodating. I had them play an instrumental version of a Journey song and a Sam Smith song and it was amazing. I also had a vocalist that they accompanied during the ceremony. It was seamless and felt like they had been working together for years. They also played during the cocktail hour and so many people have told me how nice it was to have live music. They played beautifully.

Nick and his trio provided dinner music for our 50th wedding anniversary seated dinner party and it was just what we imagined!! He had the perfect blend of period music and contemporary, familiar sounds appealing to the cross section of ages-- able to modulate the volume in an intimate setting so as to be entertaining while at the same time guests were able to visit. Everyone loved it!!

A VERY SPECIAL TOUCH--- upon our request Nick was very willing to learn an unfamiliar-to-him piece of music and provide accompaniment to a visiting vocalist with only a brief period of rehearsal.--- and accomplished that beautifully!!!

We would highly recommend Nick DiGennaro and will definitely use him again. This was actually our second time to have Nick provide music, the first time being in our home for a Christmas party. We LOVE his style!!!

From the very beginning, Mr. DiGennaro was extremely easy to work with. He was very accommodating and fulfilled our wishes, not to mention his music is so beautifully played. We received many compliments from our guests after the ceremony about how amazing his music was. I would definitely recommend Mr. Digennaro to a friend, and would definitely use him again should the time come.

Nick did a fabulous job at our holiday party. He was prompt, extremely patient and played the guitar beautifully. Unfortunately we only hired him to play for an hour at our event, but based on our guests positive remarks, we might have to have him play throughout our whole party next year!

My wife and I have asked Nick to perform as our wedding and several parties since then. He plays beautifully, and is always prompt and professional. We always receive high praise for having him play. My husband and I were so pleased by the professionalism and quality of Nick and his colleague. We went with the guitar/flute combo for our outdoor ceremony at the Dallas Arboretum and were pleased beyond belief, it was beautiful. Nick recently performed for our companies client appreciation event as a solo acoustic guitarist at the George W. Bush Library and Museum. We hired a George Bush Impersonator and Nick, at the last hour, was asked to strum Hail to the Chief while the Impersonator greeted our guests. It was a hit! There were several guests who commented on the music throughout the evening. Nick plays elegantly and with Texas charm.

Nick and his ensemble performed for our wedding and reception. We couldn't have been happier with the music for our day. The guitar music was exactly what we wanted and he even learned a special song for our first dance. Guitar, Cello, and flutist played through out the night. We received so many compliments about the music. Nick also provided a sound system and mic for the officiant. He was so easy to work with and wouldn't not hesitate to use him again.

Nick was an excellent addition to our ceremony. He played solo acoustic guitar for our outdoor ceremony and it was a perfect fit for the venue and for our ceremony. I had specific song requests that he happily learned and played for us. He even learned the accompaniment to a song that my brother sang for us during the ceremony. Guests loved the casual but elegant feel that the guitar added to the ceremony. Nick is a true professional and I would recommend him to any bride!

I needed last minute musical entertainment for a Monday evening event, and after MANY industry professionals suggested Nick, I sent him a message, and he responded immediately. Nick was very accommodating and worked with my tight turn around. The trio showed up on time, professionally dressed, and began to play at exactly the time we contracted. Nick played classical guitar accompanied by a violin at Bella Donna Chapel, a replica of a 15th century Croatian chapel and the sound was surreal, absolutely beautiful. I received many compliments on the sound as many of our guests felt they were transported back to another time. If you are debating on whether to have recorded music vs live music, listen to what Nick has to offer. our guests were treated to a classical sound that most had not heard before. Such a beautiful occasion as my daughters wedding was enhanced but classical music played by professional, skilled musicians. Outstanding.

Nick quickly changed his classical guitar for jazz and his trio with a bass and saxophone player. the sound was crisp, clear and well balanced and a great way to kick off the cocktail hour. Again, my guests commented on the music and the energy from the jazz trio was a nice start to our party. I will have to come up with more venues to get Nick and his trio to play as I wouldn't think about a party now without live music.

Nick was awesome, perfect for our rehearsal dinner. His music selection was perfect, not overpowering, he was not center of attention, but a lovely compliment to a beautiful event . Our schedule changed a couple of times and he was very flexible. This was my first son getting married, I have three to go, if they get married in the area, I will for sure use Nick again.

We used Nick as a solo classical guitar player for our ceremony music. He was extremely easy to work with from my end as well as my planner's end. He played the exact songs requested and played them beautifully. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a simple sound during the procession and recession. My parents threw in a surprise with the band that we used for our reception at the end and he was flexible and worked extremely well with them on executing the surprise!

Nick was excellent! He was quick to reply to my emails and offered a wide variety of music. We had a large wedding on a garden lawn and the sound was beautiful, light, joyful and well heard. He was very organized, making sure the venue had the capabilities to plug him in early. He played solo classical guitar for the seating of family and guests and the processional. For the bridal entrance, he played "Here Comes the Sun". This song was a surprise to the groom and he loved it. He also played jazz guitar for the cocktail reception. His music set a fun and intimate mood for our cocktail reception. We are so thankful we found Nick. I would highly recommend him for any size wedding or venue.

Nick DiGennaro and his trio are a one of a kind, class act. From the minute they walked in, they were courteous, respectful, kind, helpful, and also fun and easygoing (and not only to the client and guests, but the wait staff, and anyone else who was there). I can't imagine a more perfect setting than the Rosewood Mansion for these gentlemen to play at. They were able to read the crowd and adjust their volume to what the group needed. Total class. I've worked with Nick for many years on numerous corporate events and fundraisers. Whether playing solo at smaller receptions, or with his trio at larger events, he has never disappointed. He's extremely reliable, always professional, and man, can he play. He has always gone out of his way to make sure the style of music is appropriate for the event. And it's understated, not overpowering. He's perfect for receptions and events where you want guests to be able to chat and mingle, but also add the depth and sophistication of live music. I just cannot express enough how amazing Nick's customer service and responsiveness meant to us! I want to thank Nick DiGennaro for his beautiful ceremony music and cocktail hour music. He is an extremely talented and gifted musician. He truly captured the most amazing sentiment for our wedding in his music. Most importantly- he was able to play all of our special requests: Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Cavatina, and my husband's favorite: Dropkick Murphy's- Shipping off to Boston.
I am so happy I decided to use a guitarist for our wedding and found it to be a truly unique and intimate experience. My guests all remarked at how beautifully he played.

Thank you so much for playing your wonderful music at our rehearsal dinner event. We have a diverse family with the younger generations residing in Texas and the seniors residing in Florida, New York, Michigan, Canada and Spain and Italy. We hired Nick to play classical guitar music (solo) for our wedding and dinner held at the Warwick Melrose in Dallas, Texas. Nick was very responsive from the very first email sent until the end of the wedding. He provided beautiful music while guests were being seated and while I (the bride) walked down the aisle, and throughout the following dinner and dessert. Our wedding was very small (less than 30) and in a small suite of rooms, and his solo acoustic guitar playing was perfectly suited for that venue. He never showboated--sometimes musicians have difficulty realizing that the occasion isn't all about them! Nick was also very flexible with his time--our event ran a little over our allotted time, but after a brief conversation he kept playing. I would highly recommend Nick DiGennaro for any special occasion, but especially a wedding. It is nice to have one less unknown to stress about when planning a wedding--frazzled brides, he will not disappoint you!

Nick and his trio did a FABULOUS job playing music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I had many family and friends tell me they enjoyed their music and thought that was the best "touch" to the wedding. Set the tone for a romantic and festive evening.

We hired Nick to play classical and jazz guitar for our 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal party and dinner held in Dallas, TX. Nick was extremely professional, provided beautiful classical and jazz background music during the cocktail hour and dinner. He also made suggestions and helped us select the music he played during our ceremony. I would highly recommend Nick DiGennaro Music for any special occasion.

I wanted you to know how much Tamara and I loved the music for the wedding ceremony and reception. The combination of your beautiful classical guitar playing and the architecture and acoustics of The Little Chapel in the Woods was a perfect match. We wanted something different than the ordinary organ or piano, something very intimate, and you certainly delivered. Your jazz playing at the reception was also wonderful, but I already knew it would be. Everyone loved your playing, and that was from a room full of musicians. Thanks!

We had the 3 piece band play at our ceremony and it turned out amazing! The sound and quality of the music was more than we could have asked for. Nick was able to even coordinate with my cousin who sang a solo in our wedding and it sounded BEAUTIFUL! They are very good at what they do and I would definitely recommend them for anyone I know getting married in the future.

We had the Allegro String Quartet play during our ceremony. The members of the quartet were very helpful--especially when it came to choosing the music. Mr. DiGennaro was very professional in our communication together... and always gave very prompt replies. I would definitely use the quartet again!
