He did the most amazing job, and from the first meeting with him he was an absolute pro and helped make the planning process a breeze.

He paid extra close attention to every detail and helped us more than we could have ever expected.

Highly Recommend!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was having Nick as our photographer. As we were planning our wedding from out of state, Nick was very flexible in being able to meet with us virtually several times. Our photos were one of the most important things to us and as an interracial couple, it was important to us that our photographer had experience photographing couples with different skin tones. Nick did a great job making sure we both looked our best in all different settings and lighting. He also listened to any requests or ideas we had and made sure to incorporate them into our day. As an experienced wedding photographer, Nick was able to help us plan a timeline that helped our day flow smoothly. He made sure that we were on time for pictures, transportation, and different events throughout the day. He also gave us advice on different things, from choosing locations to shoot to the order for different speeches and dances at the reception. Since we did not have an official wedding coordinator besides the day-of coordinator at our reception venue, Nick helped us plan our day which took some stress off of us. He helped make our day seamless and brought a sense of calmness to our day. As someone who does not like to be the center of attention, I was a little worried of how I would feel being in front of a camera all day. However, Nick made me feel comfortable and our pictures with my new husband and our wedding party ended up being one of my favorite parts of our wedding. He made it so that I didn’t have to worry about the timeline for the rest of the day, which allowed me to be in the moment during our pictures and take it in fully. We also had a relatively large wedding party, and Nick was able to manage everyone efficiently. Our package included a second professional photographer, which Nick arranged and worked very well with. We highly recommend a second shooter to capture more of your day, especially if the groom’s and bridal party are getting ready at different locations. We also coordinated our photo booth through Nick which was a hit with our guests. It was a busy spot the whole night! After our wedding, Nick had some sneak peaks ready for us within a few days and even sent us a beautiful picture book as a gift the next week. He also helped us make our photo album and plan our wall art which we can’t wait to get. He also gifted us a copy of The Five Love Languages at our photo reveal meeting, and shared some advice as we start our marriage. You can tell that he really cares about his clients and takes a lot of pride in his work. We loved how our pictures came out. They allow you to feel all the love that was shared that day. We are so happy that we chose Nick to capture our day and would not have had it any other way!

Fun, Professional and Personable!

I got connected with Nick Dantonio, after being highly recommended by my family.. as he did my step sisters wedding as well! Nick’s not just a “regular photographer”, he cares, is personable, professional, enthusiastic, and there for you and anything you may need!

The best thing about Nick is he doesn’t just go and take pictures.. because of course he can do that anyday; but he takes his time to sit down with you in person to get to know you and your spouse better, take the time to figure out what package is best for you without any pressure, gets to know each of you as individuals as well as together as a couple, and of course gives you killer photos in return!

Not only is Nick a professional photographer, but his role at an event is truly impeccable! He’s taking photos, taking charge, getting people where they need to go promptly but professionally, making sure we’re doing good & checking in on us, pulling us aside to just take a moment, or get an amazing photo that we didn’t think about, asking us what we needed.. and even if it wasn’t photo related Nick was doing it!

I can sit here and go on about how amazing he was, and why all the reasons you should book him.. but I’d be here all day; honestly don’t hesitate you will not regret it. Wonderful Experience

We highly recommend Nick to anyone who is looking for a truly gifted, experienced, and encouraging photographer!
My husband and I spent a lot of time researching and interviewing wedding photographers in the Western New York area. We knew that we wanted to work with someone who would be able to photograph real authentic moments throughout our day while also being a positive presence. We put so much time, thought, resources, and heart into our wedding, and having a skilled photographer/videographer to capture all of our memories was a priority for us.

We ultimately chose Nick because of his beautiful portfolio, clear dedication to his craft, fun personality, and specific experience with weddings.

We are so thankful to him and his team for their hard work, both leading up to our wedding and especially on our wedding day. Before our wedding, Nick met with us to make sure he knew us as a couple, our story, our wants, and any priorities we had. He even helped us create a thoughtful wedding timeline. On our wedding day, he and his lovely team arrived promptly and prepared. From the moment they arrived, they truly encouraged us to be ourselves and to have fun. He listened to us throughout the day and consistently checked in to see if there was anything we wanted. He was impressively efficient and helped us get so many shots in different places. He paid close attention to details, from fluffing my dress throughout the day to gently making sure our dance floor was clear for our first dances to helping us know what to do with our hands during some of our posed photos. He had lots of creative ideas for unique shots in our venue.

I didn’t realize before my own wedding how much time you will spend with your photographers. They were with me while I was getting ready, during my first look, as my extended family gathered for the first time in forever, as I exchanged personal vows, as I celebrated, and through lots of happy tears and big emotions. While it could be uncomfortable to spend such personal and significant moments with a stranger, Nick and his team both gave us space and felt like old friends who were genuinely happy for me and my husband. It was a dream to have someone who was as personable and warm as he is talented. He clearly knows how special wedding days are and has the skill set to help you navigate all of the things that can happen. We are forever thankful for Nick, for the beautiful photos, and for the candid moments of love and joy he captured for us.

The right choice to capture our special day

We can’t say enough about how wonderful Nick was to work with. He absolutely was 100% the right choice for our engagement photos and to capture the most precious moments on our special day. He made sure throughout our wedding day we got all the photos we requested with our bridal party and with family. Incredibly talented and personable

Our experience with Nick was amazing. He is incredibly responsive and took the time
to get to know us as a couple prior to the wedding day. He is an artist and he just knows how to get the best pictures in an efficient manner which is huge on the wedding day for stress levels lol. We opted for the second shooter and it was the best choice as well. Jeb was awesome and they worked so well together as a team. We've only gotten our sneak peek back and we are obsessed. He sent us a little album booklet as well with a trifold of our bridal party and it just goes to show he adds that personal touch that is so worth it. Pictures from your wedding day will last a lifetime and I'm so glad we went with him! I cannot recommend Nick enough he goes above and beyond!

Look no further then Nick

Nick did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and wedding highlight video. Each photo was amazing! He puts thought and pride into his work. Nick consults with you before the wedding day to walk through timeline, any specific photos or locations that are wanted etc.. While taking the photos Nick puts you at ease while taking the photos and has you pose correctly to make the most of each photo.

When your photos are ready, Nick has you come to his studio to see the masterpiece he has created. He even has a wedding album put together for you to look and purchase if you like (no pressure whatsoever to buy).

If you are looking for a professional photographer who puts you at comfort and ease through the wedding process, then Nick is your guy!

Incredible

Nick is not just a class act but an incredibly hard worker who takes his business seriously. Not only does he work with premier wedding venues in WNY, but he personally drove to Maine to take over 100gb of photos for a wedding. Standing in mud and a Tidal River to get the perfect shot, nothing was too extreme. The photography is beautiful, full of natural light and very little filters to bring you memorable photos that never look fake or littered with photoshop work. From 11am to 9:30pm he continuously took photos to capture every moment possible throughout the day. His professionalism shined every moment and always made sure you were happy but that he was in control. It’s the perfect balance! HIGHLY recommend using him for your biggest day as well as other important life events to ensure you’re getting the best quality and best bang for your buck. If you’re in WNY, look no further.

Great shot, after great shot...

We did our engagement and wedding photos with Nick. I would highly recommend doing both (you will see why later). In our engagement session, we needed a lot of coaching to get the right shots. Nick was great at giving us tips so we felt natural, and we ended up having a great time despite being nervous before the session started. We were excited to share our
"save the dates" featuring the great shots we had. When it came time for the wedding, we already were very comfortable with Nick since we did the Engagement shoot. The last thing you need on your wedding day is to feel nervous in front of the camera. Nick made sure to catch all the great moments and get a feature shot that I am sure you are familiar with if you visited his page.

My favorite part about working with Nick was his lifetime perspective on weddings. His shots are different. There are plenty of great shots for Instagram and Facebook, but he also captures the day in a way that you will want to share with your family for many years. I'll let him tell you the story of why he views it that way. Our wedding album is truly a family heirloom and something I personally count as a prized possession. I would definitely recommend Nick to any couples looking for a photographer.

Nick is Amazing!!

Nick was great to work with, he has an eye for detail and that comes across in his photos but also how he creates a timeline of the day. Due to COVID the venue and date changed for our wedding, Nick was so helpful and was able to find an opening in his schedule to still do the photos! The photos came out amazing and the day was perfect! I recommend hiring Nick to anyone looking for a photographer!!

Best Photographer in NY!

I knew of Nick because he did my sisters wedding. Picking the right photographer for a wedding is one of the most important things to do for your wedding day and thankfully, he made that day a whole lot easier and took a load of stress OFF our shoulders.

With a pretty healthy sized wedding party, Nick knew how to arrange us and helped out tremendously with the agenda beforehand as well as the day of. Nick was also extremely professional and was such an ease to work with. He knew all the questions to ask in our consultation which helped capture all the moment that WE wanted on our special day.

Not only were our pictures PHENOMENAL, but he helped ease us when we felt overwhelmed by our guests. He even reminded us to EAT! Nick truly cares about his clients and we are living proof of this. I would recommend him to any couples getting married, you will NOT regret it.

Wonderful to work with and fantastic photos

Nick came at the recommendation of a friend who had a great experience with him at her wedding a couple years ago. I appreciated Nick’s questions about our day, eagerness to help plan our timeline and candor with information and pricing. He was on time to our venue and took the initiative to get shots of small details and the environment without prompting. Group shots were very important to me and Nick was sure to make them happen. I’d recommend bringing a printed list of the group shots you want and have your MOH check them off as they happen.
Since our wedding was a COVID wedding, we had a very small number of guests in attendance, so I was worried we would have repetitive shots of the same people throughout the day. This didn’t happen – Nick was resourceful in discovering interesting shots in each of our locations to add to the story of our day through photos.
My contract included a wedding album and I greatly appreciated the fact that Nick lays out the album with suggestion images for our review. I would have been overwhelmed trying to craft a visual story like he did. My dad who went to school for photography was very impressed with Nick’s work (as were my husband and I!) and his eye for capturing our beautiful day.

Beyond Amazing

Great guy & photographer

Nick helped guide us throughout our wedding day. He helped us schedule our day and we didn't have to worry or stress about where to go next. Nick is an excellent Photographer/Wedding Consultant

We first met Nick at my best friend's wedding. The way he handled the wedding party at the time and the photos they received afterwards made it an easy decision for our own wedding day. He managed to exceed our own expectations, a tall order when you're being measured against yourself! It is very obvious that Nick cares about mastering his craft, and he produces high quality work.

Nick is extremely courteous, professional, and personable. He fully understands his clients needs at every stage, whether your wedding is a year away or moments away. He genuinely cares about making this a special day and he captures it beautifully, almost with ease.

Nick provided sound advice and it seemed tailored to our specific situation. He is an excellent listener and he uses his expertise to provide the best outcome for everyone involved, especially for the bride and groom. Your wedding day is stressful, yet Nick finds a way to slow you down, ensure you are soaking it all in, and he ultimately brings a sense of much needed calmness.

You won’t be disappointed!!

I cannot put into words how satisfied my husband and I are after working with Nick. I filled out an inquiry form and was expecting a generic email back letting me know someone would be in contact with me. Nick called me within the hour of submitting the inquiry, it actually caught me off guard! He was very professional from the first conversation to the last conversation we had. He was very helpful early on in discussing a timeline of our wedding day and kept it very realistic. About a week or so before our big day Nick and I went over the timeline again and really fine tuned the details. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it was the perfect day and everything went smoothly, I have Nick to thank for how smooth the day went! Throughout the day we were always on the same page because we knew where in the timeline we were and there weren’t any surprises. The photos came out incredible, I find myself going back through them constantly! We just got our wedding album and the quality of that speaks such volume for the brand that Nick has created for himself. Constructing the album and going back through our wedding day while being able to sit back, laugh and reminisce about our wedding day was one of my favorite parts! If you’re debating a second photographer through Nick I would highly recommend it. We had the pleasure of working with Jeb, he was just as professional as Nick and the shots he took were just as innovated as the ones Nick took so it was almost like Nick was in 2 places at once. Needless to say we are very happy with our decision to go with Nick, and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who is looking for A photographer who is professional, punctual, organized and full of personality that helps make you feel like you’ve been friends with him for years!

Five stars hands down!

Nick was amazing from the start. I found him when I was in my best friend’s wedding. He made the day run so smoothly and I didn’t even want to look for anyone else.

Nick was very professional throughout the entire process. He helped us plan everything out minute by minute. I didn’t have many requests for specific photos because the locations were key (waterfront on family-owned land and New Era Field). We had a once in a lifetime opportunity and Nick was able to capture everything.

We opted for the largest package with two photographers because I wanted every detail documented.

The final pictures came out wonderful and there are plenty to choose from for albums.

I would hands down recommend Nick to anyone searching for a photographer dedicated to making your day amazing and documenting every moment.

Professional without the hassle

Nick was very easy to reach and made sure that this wedding was about us. He was able to expertly balance capturing moments before/during/after the ceremony and allowing us to enjoy the after party. Amazing photographer

Nick was amazing from the moment my husband and I met with him. We knew immediately that he was the photographer for us. Nick was extremely professional, informative, and more than willing to be flexible with everything that we asked of him. Our big day had a few curveballs thrown into it and Nick went with the punches and did over and beyond what we expected. The final product was amazing! Both my husband and myself would highly recommend Nick for photography for anything, not just your big day. He was able to capture amazing moments and his use of scenery was impeccable! We must add Nick also took our engagement photos in the middle of winter and truck through snow like a champ. They also turned out amazing! We truly would recommend Nick 100 times over to anybody looking for a photographer!

You're going to want to hire Nick

Choosing Nick to be our wedding photographer was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. Not only is he professional in what he does, but his photography and moments he captured look real, genuine, and authentic to the day. Our photos look timeless- and that is exactly what we wanted in a photographer. When we got our engagement photos done, we insisted on still going through with them even in a rainstorm and so did Nick! We knew from the beginning we wanted to use our photos as Save The Dates and Thank Yous. We told Nick certain shots we were wanting to use and he got those to us almost immediately! He responds quickly to emails and listened to all our requests that we had leading up to our wedding day. Not only did Nick do an amazing job with our wedding video and wedding photos (there was not a bad one in the bunch) but he also put together our wedding timeline for us. This was a huge help because we didn't realize we needed to create one prior to and how to even go about it. With Nick's experience and advice, he knew what times certain things should take place and how long those moments would last for photo opportunities. We were as stress free as we could be on our wedding day because Nick made sure the day went calmly and smoothly. Our bridal party and family loved working with Nick and they still talk about how amazing our wedding photos turned out. He made taking wedding photos fun and arranged the family shots seamlessly when it could have been chaos! He was even amazing with our ring bearer! The quality of our wedding photos, wedding video, and wedding album are top notch and we could not imagine having any other photographer there that day. We chose to have Nick bring a second shooter which was well worth it, especially when they were filming for our wedding video, we were still able to get photos of those moments as well! We got all the photos we could ever want to look back on the best day ever. 100% you need to hire Nick as your photographer + video vendor. He is simply the best.

Nick went above and beyond on our big day

I first met nick at a bridal show and as soon as I saw his pictures from previous weddings I knew I had to have him photograph our wedding. After meeting him and talking to him we signed up at the bridal show without meeting other any other photographers....it was the beat decision we could’ve made for our wedding. Nick was fully invested in our day as soon as signed with him from our engagement photos, to planning the timeline out for our whole day, he was 100% committed to making sure our wedding day went smoothly. On our actual day he made sure everything was on track which took much pressure off of me, not only that he made sure both my husband and I were fully present in the moment of the biggest day of our life. Hiring nick was THE best decision we made on our wedding day and I would 100% recommend him to any future brides

Fantastic photographer

Nick was our photographer for our wedding last weekend, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He was so nice, and wonderful to work with. He really helped us feel relaxed and helped our day run smoothly. And we have already seen a “sneak peek” where I can see that he got absolutely phenomenal photos. He even went way out of his way to get a night time photo we asked for which turned out beautifully. Highly recommend him!

Nick, MVP of my Wedding!!

I first met Nick at a bridal show. We were blown away by his sample pictures. After talking to him, there was no question he was going to be our photographer. We met with other photographers, but they just did not compare.
The first time he photographed us was for our engagement pictures. We loved the pictures and the location all thanks to Nick. Again, no question we went with the right guy! Leading up to the wedding, he helped with the timeline, which was something I was nervous about because it was an early wedding. He helped friends and family with the album registry, which was a nice touch.
During the whole wedding process he was so nice and helpful that on the wedding day it felt like a friend was taking our pictures. It was really cool just to watch and observe him work because he and his team were such professionals. His assistant helped me with my dress all day. The second photographer got some amazing shots. Nick used everything around him, including standing on his car, to get the best shot. He got every shot I asked for, and even more.
Because he photographed us before, he knew I scrunch up my forehead, so he would tell me to relax my face, and the most flattering ways to stand, which were so helpful.
Where I was married was recently renovated and Nick had not shot there since that. He walked in, he knew exactly where to go and what to do. The photos look like he photographed there a million times.
The pictures were more perfect than my wildest dreams. The pictures turned out so light and bright, just what I hoped for.
Nick is a wonderful photographer and even better person, he made my wedding day perfect! Thank you Nick!

Our experience with Nick was truly incredible!

We could not be happier with our choice of Nick as our wedding photographer. He is genuinely one of the nicest people we have ever met, and he truly cared about our special day. Our photos turned out absolutely perfect, and we are ecstatic to share those timeless moments with our kids and grandkids in the future. Nick was absolutely professional during the entire process, and was very flexible in his scheduling. One of his best qualities was his calm demeanor which really helped bring our nerves down on the big day! He did an awesome job during the day in turns of developing a timeline that allowed us to get countless amazing photos, but also enjoy our night to the fullest. We built a special bond with Nick and are beyond appreciative of all the work that he did for us. The wedding albums came out amazing too! Worth Every Penny!

Nick Dantonio is the whole package. You get what you pay for, and he was the reason our wedding went so smoothly. I would most definitely recommend him to other brides. Nick not only connected with my husband and I, but he also was a hit with our wedding party. Everyone felt like Nick was just another friend joining us on our wedding. Our photos came out beautiful- he captured us in our element, and they looked natural which is exactly what we wanted! Nick not only captured our entire day perfectly, but he also was essentially our wedding planner! He discussed our timeline with us to ensure that we ran on schedule throughout the entire day which helped keep everyone calm! Because of his knowledge and commitment to our timeline, it allowed my husband and I to actually enjoy each moment of our wedding day! Everything I dreamed of

Nick’s work speaks for itself. I knew from the beginning that his photography was how I dreamed my day would be captured. His relaxed demeanor made the entire process fun and exciting! He helped decide on a timeline before the big day which made everything seemless. I have received so many compliments on our pictures, with one being more beautiful than the next. On top of everything else, our wedding album is gorgeous. The story it tells, the details of the day...it will be cherished beyond our lifetime by many generations to come!

I cannot say enough good things about Nick and his work. He is a consummate professional, and yet a totally remarkable and talented artist. He gets along with everyone and miraculously managed to capture even our most curmudgeonly guests smiling! We are so impressed with Nick’s work and his dedication, attention to detail, and the way he just instinctively knew what we wanted. We chose Nick Dantonio photography for our wedding this past June and couldn’t be happier with the choice to do so. Nick was very attentive, keeping touch throughout the entire wedding planning process so he could plan for how to take the best shots. Nick went above and beyond for us, drafting up a wedding day timeline that we could follow so we weren’t rushed from place to place on our wedding day, and so we had time for all of the special events and picture opportunities we had mentioned. Overall, it was Nick who pulled the entire wedding day off for us, letting us know what was up next and keeping us laughing and calm throughout what would ordinarily be a very busy day! Nick knows how to make pictures naturally beautiful and un-forced which we appreciated as well. Both of our families were astonished with the quality of pictures we received from Nick, and we so value these memories that will last a lifetime.

When planning our wedding, we knew that the most important thing to book was our photographer. My husband and I knew that the photos taken on our wedding day would be the memories of the event that we would have for the rest our lives. We had almost committed to another photographer, someone that a friend had used, when we met Nick at the bridal show that Pearl Street in Buffalo hosts every year. It was the first bridal how we had gone to, as our wedding was still 2 years away at this point, and we fell in love with Nicks work right away. We booked a consultation with him right there and met him one-on-one a few weeks later. We knew before we even went to that meeting that we were going to book him as our photographer.

We selected the package that included engagement photos, and 2 photographers the day of the wedding for the whole day. We were excited and nervous when we took our engagement photos, it was the first time either one of us had done anything like this, but Nick made us feel completely comfortable and we almost forgot he was there. Those photos turned out fantastic!

The days leading up to the wedding Nick always responded quickly to any email I sent with questions or requests and was always very helpful with advice and support. We met for a final consultation right before the wedding and he helped us solidify a time line for the wedding, with extra time because I wanted to make sure we had the time to get a bunch of photos, and he stuck to that and made sure we stayed on a good timeline the day of the wedding.

The day of the wedding Nick and his assistant photographer did an amazing job, showed up early and stayed late, making sure they chronicled our entire day for us. Our photos turned out amazing and he made sure to post a "sneak peak" and blog barely a week after the wedding. Over all Nick was the best decision we made for our wedding and by finding him we found a photographer that we will use for any photos we need in the future.

After seeing Nick's pictures online, I was certain I had to have him for our wedding. We were not disappointed! To us, pictures are the most important part of the wedding day, they preserve all those amazing memories. He was great to work with and made sure to get the pictures in the places/times that we asked for. His option for a wedding album registry was great and I'm gad people gifted us money towards our upcoming album. We could not have asked for a better photographer and we highly recommend him! Can't wait to see all the pictures!

My husband and I had a wonderful time working with Nick! The pictures he took of our wedding (what we've seen so far, we only got married two weeks ago!) are absolutely amazing and we cannot wait to see the rest! Nick is very easy going and great to work with! He really sticks to the timeline you lay out, and we were able to take pictures in between the ceremony and reception and still make it to the cocktail hour with our guests. My husband and I could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding and would recommend him to anyone looking for a stress free wedding day!

I met Nick at a bridal show in Rochester. I was amazingly impressed with his work, and although we decided to go with a different photographer that fit better with our budget, he was so incredibly professional and pleasant to correspond with. Nick was great from beginning to end! His communication was great, he made sure he was prepared and spent a lot of time making sure everything was in place for our big day. Nick is definitely our family's go to guy when it comes to photography! Nick captured the wedding of 3 of my cousins and when it was our lucky turn, there was NO doubt that he was the photographer we wanted! There are certain areas where brides may have to compromise in order to meet their wedding budget, but photography was just not one for me! The quality of my wedding photos meant the world to me, because after the big day, that's all you have left. I still look at my wedding photos from time to time and I'm just so amazed on how Nick captured every moment so perfectly. Thanks to Nick I have memories to share for a lifetime!!!!! We were thrilled with the way our wedding photos came out. At the beginning we talked to Nick about our love for candid shots and he couldn't have took them more perfectly. We haven't even found a single picture we don't like! I really love how he showed us the photos with different filters on them, including black and whites. He is truly a gifted photographer!
Nick helped us make a timeline while planning for the wedding. I was so impressed and grateful to have him at the wedding because he ran the show! He kept the evening organized and was even able to round up my crazy family! My wedding day/night could not have gone any smoother and I thank Nick for so much of that!
From the first time we met Nick at the Rochester Bridal Expo he was not only professional but also just a down to earth good guy. He and his 2nd camera man were on time and kept the evening on track based on our timeline. He was so easy to work with and his sense of humor eased the nerves!
While planning the wedding the timeline was my biggest stressor. After talking to Nick, we felt so much more at ease. He has photographed a lot of weddings and knows exactly how the evening should run. He was able to take all my requests and vendors and information and organize the perfect timeline.
Nick brought a sense of calmness to the day. He showed up at my peak of nerves while I was getting my hair and makeup done, he cracked a couple jokes, and reminded me that everything was going to work out perfectly. His confidence and his humor are what calmed me (my MOH and my mom) down the most!
I was very impressed at how easily Nick handled my large wedding party of 16 people! We used 2 photographers so Nick was with me (the bride) during the day and the 2nd photographer was with my now husband. The photos after the wedding went quick and smoothly so that we were able to have a cocktail with the guests before being announced.
I already have and will continue to recommend Nick to other brides!

I know every bride thinks their Photographer was the best but Nick truly was the BEST! I stumbled upon Nick at a bridal show and instantly fell in love with his work. Nick captured the real moments of the day not the fake poses and forced smiles. Hiring Nick for our special day was by far the best decision I made throughout the entire process. I don't know if I can adequately put into words how very fortunate I was to have found Nick Dantonio at Pearl Street's Bridal Show. On the big day he kept me on schedule, at ease, and entertained! Not many photographers will scale rocks to get you the perfect picture but, when Nick sees a shot in his head, he commits. His talent is so evident and, whenever anyone brings up our wedding, the first thing they say is how beautiful the photos are. I always reply with, "best wedding choice I made!"

Nick's pictures are stunning, and he was such a huge help keeping us on schedule. Hiring Nick was easily the best wedding planning decision we made. Nick's presence was calming and reassuring during our pre-wedding "getting ready" photos, when there was still so much going on. It put me at ease seeing how professional and attentive he was to every detail. He had great suggestions for locations, poses, and overall getting comfortable in front of the camera. Hire this guy. Not only did he make taking pictures fun and exciting, but he also basically ran our entire wedding for us so that we could sit back and enjoy ourselves. He is a rare find...someone who does his job well AND goes the extra mile to care about the people he is working with. He held our happiness above capitalism, payments, and business deals, making sure that our wedding was picture worthy vs. just taking pictures. A true old-school artist of his trade that exceeded "monetary transactions" to build relationships, offering service far beyond what he was paid to do. Professional, on time, engaging, organized, and fun. In a world where people are happy to be mediocre, doing the minimum to get by, Nick settles for nothing less than his best...and his best far exceeds "more than good enough."

Nick Dantonio was incredible to work with leading up to and including our big day! My husband and I honestly couldn't imagine our day without him! He was on time, and kept me calm in the morning when things went a little array. We had a large gap in time from ceremony to reception, and he gladly went around town with us for all our requests of locations, including our home for pictures with our dog! He never thought twice about our wants and needs! Our albums, canvas and wall art are breathtaking! Anyone who looks at them is speechless! I recommend Nick any chance I get! We have continued using him for our growing family pictures as well. His professionalism, talent and personality are unlike any other, which is why Nick Dantonio is unlike any other photographer and will forever be our go to for all special events in our life! :)

We chose Nick first and foremost because he seemed like a cool and fun guy to be around on our wedding day.
Second, we loved the candid style of his photography, his work is very real and mot cheesy like so many wedding photos are.
Nick spent the whole day with us and didnt rush us at all. He made our day even more fun, but at the same time kept us on schedule. When we received the photos we were blown away. We thought our wedding was a great time, and the photos proved it. He captured so many perfect moments of us and our guests having a great time.
We recommend Nick for anyone who wants exceptional quality photography, and great service.

Many parts of wedding planning can be very tedious for a bride and groom. After choosing Nick to capture our special day, we would tell any couple that we were immediately relieved with one of our biggest decisions of wedding planning. Nick asked questions to learn more about James and I as a couple and what we are comfortable with. He provided us options of photos we had not considered and carefully explained how different picture schedules of the day could benefit us and he was more than happy to accommodate any decisions we made. When our wedding day arrived he was prompt and remembered all of our wishes for the layout of our day. My husband and I had become so busy with wedding details we had forgot to tell Nick we had arranged for a horse and carriage to be apart of our wedding ceremony and had a limited time to use the carriage for photos directly afterward. Nick quickly adjusted and managed our time frames perfectly to capture these moments for us. It was such a relief to have someone so focused and experienced to take advantage of changes that came up and walk away with great photos! He never missed a beat! My husband and I were so comfortable to be ourselves working with Nick on the day our wedding, we had a blast outside of our reception at sunset taking photos and it really showed in the pictures! When we received the photos, we were blown away! All of our posed photos were just perfect and it was amazing to see so many candid shots we fell in love with. Nick provided us with so many view points and options between black and white, color, soft, and vivid aspects of our photos. It was impossible not to fall in love with them all! He perfectly captured our personalities and exceeded our expectations! Each time we look at our wedding photos it truly feels like we are reliving our most favorite day. When friends and family see our photos it feels amazing to hear them say "Wow, these are gorgeous!" time and time again.

I met Nick back in 2010 when he was my brothers photographer. Before I even saw the pictures I told Nick that I needed to have him at my wedding (I was not even engaged yet) but what caught my attention was his genuine interest in making this special day for my brother as stress free as possible. He connected with our family and was super friendly, patient and flexible. He was so good that in 2014 my other brother got married and just had to use Nick and once again I told Nick he will also be my photographer. Looking at the pictures that he took for both of my brothers I was blown away and as the years passed he hasn't ceased to amaze me. May 2nd, 2015 came and I had no doubt in my mind that I was going to have the best memories of that day forever because I hired Nick. He is an amazing photographer that really captivates the landscape in every photo. His quality and positioning of photos are perfect ensuring that he catches the best shot every time. He knows how to have fun and keep the party going. He does creative things that I haven't seen any other photographer do. He listens to all requests and tries to honor them as best as he can. If you are looking for a photographer that is able to capture your special day and make you remember all the special moments, Nick is the way to go. Nick is an amazing photographer! He captured our day from beginning to end so perfectly and easily! He was focused and helped keep all of our bridal party on track! Nick was everything we could have hoped for in a photographer and more. We fell in love with his photos after seeing some of his work from a mutual friends' wedding. We were somewhat discouraged when we discovered he was from Buffalo, NY and our wedding was in CT, but after all, Nick made the trip to NYC and CT to get us the perfect wedding and engagement photos that we were hoping for. From the second we met him, his charisma, positivity and professionalism made us immediately comfortable, excited, and sure we made the right choice (it can be a stressful decision because it is so important!). After receiving both our engagement and wedding photos (in an extremely timely manner) it was confirmed that we made the best choice possible when picking Nick Dantonio. Our friends and family could not stop saying "Wow, how does he do that?!" and "I have seen a lot of beautiful wedding photos but yours were so unique and outstanding, your photographer was amazing!" Honestly I tried to think of a category in which I could give a score of less than 5 and I couldn't find one. Nick and his staff met and exceeded our expectations In every category. The quality and beauty of the photos he captured speak for themselves but on top of it the experience was great as well. Nick not only had great suggestions for photos but also listened to our ideas and was always willing to take the shots we wanted in addition to capturing everything we didn't think of!
The pricing is perhaps more than other photographers but this is definitely one of those cases of you get what you pay for. Nick is not simply a wedding photographer, he is an artist. The photos we received range from traditonal posed photos, to amazing candids and all are executed with a clear eye for lighting and composition that puts Nick's photography in a class all of its own. Someone said to my wife and I during the process that the wedding goes so fast and when it's said and done your photos are what you have to relive the day so it is one area to perhaps splurge on and I am so glad we did. Everyone is blown away by our photos. I would recommended Nick to anyone who truly wants the best.

Nick was really great to work with. He was very attentive on the wedding day working on all the shots I wanted. Everyone who saw Nick's pictures was amazed at how beautiful they were. He did an amazing job and I would hire him for any pictures that I needed in the future.

The final book was amazing and I love showing it to people, he did such a great job at telling the story of our day and I cant say thank you enough!

Nick was the photographer for my daughter's wedding in May 2014. He was absolutely fabulous. We were so happy to have met him and his lovely wife at the Bridal Show in Buffalo. One of our first questions to him "are you a full time photographer?" We were not interested in having someone who does this as a part time hobby for extra money. These are photos that you will only take once and they should be the best that your budget allows. This is not a place to cut corners. It's really not all about taking the photos either. The editing is just as important. Any photographer who just hands you a disc after the wedding isn't worth your money. Ask to see the difference in a photo just taken and one that has been professionally edited. It's a tremendous difference. Nick is as wonderful an editor as he is a photographer.
Nick was so helpful when we were putting together a wedding day timeline. He was quick to answer phone calls and emails. His advice was invaluable. Take his advice and set aside time for the bride and groom to have portraits at sunset!!

On the day of the wedding he arrived on time, dressed professionally, and ready to work. He immediately put the bridal party at ease. They all commented on how much fun he was to work with. It was a long day and he stayed with us the entire time. Nick got every single shot we asked for and so much more. He truly captured the magic of the day. We could not be happier or more grateful.
And oh the book! Luckily. Nick chooses the photos for the book and puts them together so beautifully. I'm incredibly glad he did because there is NO WAY we would have been able to choose from the 400+ photos.
Do not hesitate to hire this wonderful photographer and editor for your special day. I promise you that you'll be so glad you did.

Nick is a total professional. My wife and I had a great time shooting with him ... we did our shoot in NYC's Central Park. He is fun, engaging, and knows how to bring out the best shots (and reactions) from his clients.

He used several different lenses and utilized the outdoor light impeccably. He selected the late afternoon / early evening to make sure we had great lighting.

We absolutely loved working with Nick! From the beginning he was very flexible working with us even right after Christmas when Robby was in town for only a few days. On our wedding day he went way above and beyond directing and helping the flow of our entire day. He found ways to fit in shots we really wanted even when we were running behind and never rushed us. And the pictures! Just perfect, everything we were looking for and more! We cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Nick. We had Nick do two separate family photo sessions and they both went great. He took pictures of our daughter when she turned 1 years old and then again when our second daughter was only a few months old. Nick is an amazing photographer. He made us feel so comfortable and we had a lot of fun with our pictures. Nick has taken pictures of our family several times. From newborn stage and older, he has captured the feeling of the moment and personality of each one of us. Nick was so friendly and helpful I felt proud to have him as my photographer. He was flexible with his time and was there for basically my whole wedding, beggining to end. Wedding Sept 1, 2018

Nick was fantastic! To start off, we are a couple living in Buffalo, with busy work schedules. Nick worked with us and skyped whenever necessary. He's easy to talk to and it's obvious that photographing weddings is his niche. We weren't into having a huge engagement photo session and Nick worked in prices to allow us to capture a few perfect pictures for a great price. Flash forward to our wedding day, Nick was not totally familiar with our venue as he had not worked there very often, however, he worked the place well. He found the most perfect spots and capture incredibly beautiful pictures. To be specific, my venue had some beautiful willow trees that made for a perfect backdrop. Nick captured our bridal party and our couple photos so perfectly. They are photos I'll always cherish. I was never looking for the vintage, overly edited photos. Those were not our style. Nick is your go to when looking for someone with a great eye and to give you your classic wedding photos.

Nick is wonderful. He has a great personality and put both my husband and I at ease! He was super understanding when I was disorganized and had to ask the same questions over and over. While Nick works for himself, he has a second shooter that he can utilize (and we did). Nick was instrumental in helping get the timeline organized and let me know realistically how much time things would take. Nick has a great eye and is truly an artist. He worked to get flattering shots of everyone and stayed calm when things got a little hectic. We used his photo booth add-on for our reception and I am so glad we did!! Our guests took full advantage of it and we got some awesome photos! The photos go to a website where you and your guests can download the files and/or order prints.

Nick was very quick to put up "teaser" photos starting the day after our wedding. He also offers a registry via his website so that your friends and family can contribute to your albums.

Talented photographer

We had nick for our engagement and wedding photos. We loved our engagement photos ! So far the sneak peaks we’ve gotten back from the wedding has been so beautiful. It’s basically photography art. He was great to work with and when I asked for extra sneak peaks for a holiday photo he sent me a few extras which I really appreciated. The day of the wedding he made me feel SO at ease. He was like on point with our timeline and did such a good job at wrangling in our wedding party for the pictures. They even said how great he was. He’s your guy if you want beautiful pictures and a smooth day of !

Great vision!

Nick helped us create some beautiful photos that we will always have as memories from our big day! He was able to take my ideas and put them into action, as well as capture some awesome scenes that I wouldn't have even thought of. I loved his style of photos, and that is why we hired him in the first place. Early on sometimes it would take a while to hear back from him, but as the day got closer he made sure to answer any questions we had, and helped us put together our final timeline as well. (He also didn't bail on us when his baby was born the DAY BEFORE our wedding!!) The second shooter he used was also very professional, and got some great candid shots. Overall, I would recommend Nick to my friends and family!

Relaxed, personable and professional

Nick worked with us during the very difficult process of a cancelled wedding venue during COVID. We had to reshape everything we were planning. He was flexible and fair as we ventured into developing our new wedding plans. He helped us plan the day and worked diligently throughout to stay on track and capture what we were hoping for. The wedding album (which I originally wasn't thinking I wanted) and the video brought a lot of joy back to our day that I'm glad we have both to look back on!
