Nichole is a fantastic photographer!
Nichole is such a down to earth person and was so great doing our Estes park shoot and a small ceremony shoot a week apart from one another. She is so kind and the photos that she took are absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend hiring Nichole! -

Fabulous photography! We purchased the elopement package from Nichole which includes an engagement photoshoot beforehand, ceremony photos, and family/couple portraits after (I felt like a great value!!!).
Before our ceremony, Nichole went to our wedding location area (the chapel at Camp St. Malo in Allenspark, CO) to scout out a beautiful place in the national park area to take couples portraits of us after the ceremony! Nichole is the perfect photographer for beautiful outdoor portraits - she always comes prepared for changes in weather, and she's not afraid to hike/climb along trails to get the perfect shot! :) She was even flexible with rescheduling when the weather looked like it was going to turn sour for our engagement shoot.
Nichole is so helpful and makes suggestions along the way to ensure your photos are gorgeous. She went above and beyond helping me with the train of my dress throughout the photoshoot, and letting me know where my groom was before the ceremony so he wouldn't see me before I walked down the aisle. :) I couldn't be happier with Nichole!!! -

We got engaged just before moving from the East Coast to Boulder. Being new to the area, we did not really know where to start but Nichole helped us through the whole process! She suggested several shooting locations and even let us choose 3 different locations in and around Chautauqua Park. We really appreciated Nichole working within all COVID guidelines, wearing a mask, gloves and keeping her distance while shooting. The turnaround time for the photos was amazing and we were so happy with the final result! -

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Nichole and how great she is to work with. With plans to propose to my now fiancée in Colorado (we are from Chicago), I saw that Nichole came very highly recommended from quite a few reviews. I reached out to Nichole, and it couldn't have been a better decision.
Nichole went above and beyond to work through every part of the proposal process with me. She helped tweak my original plan to make sure it was perfectly executed, and was there to perfectly capture the moment. We couldn't be happier with our pictures and how great Nichole was to work with. She helped make the engagement process seamless and very special for us.

So happy with our wedding photos
We couldn’t be more happy with our wedding photos. Our photos were a challenge since we have never seen the property before the event. Not only was she able to see great places for photos but she took two non-photogenic people and made them look fabulous! I also appreciate the extra time and thought into incorporating photos of special family heirlooms (grammas bible). Highly recommend! -

One of the best wedding decisions we made!
Nichole did an AMAZING job as our wedding photographer! From our engagement photo shoot (she helped suggest a site and time for excellent photographs) to our wedding day, she was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When plans were constantly changing (boo COVID!), Nichole was the one thing my husband and I knew we didn't need to worry about. She even helped us look for a new venue and came up with suggestions for first look spots! Fairly priced, hard-working, and amazing shots. We couldn't have asked for more! -

Best photography decision I've made
Planning a destination wedding is incredibly stressful (Wisconsin to Colorado). Not being able to meet your vendors in person before the day of the wedding makes it hard to confirm that everything will go as planned. This was never an issue with Nichole Emerson Photography. From the moment I emailed Nichole asking if she was available on our wedding day, I felt like a priority. My fiancé and I had planned on a small, intimate ceremony (only needing Nichole from 2-5 pm), but Nichole never made it seem like our wedding was any less important than a full day event. Nichole made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted, from finding a nearby location for our "first look" to making a timeline for when everything would happen, Nichole did it all. Sometimes things don't go as planned, which is exactly what happened when the zipper of my dress broke, causing me to be over an hour late to our photo session. Nichole was incredibly understanding and quickly adjusted to work around our new schedule. After the ceremony, while we were doing family portraits, Nichole remembered all of the names of our family members and quickly put names to faces. It seems like a small detail, but it was something that helped the flow of pictures, as well as made everyone more comfortable. Before we were done with our session, Nichole took my new husband and me to take some more photos, as we missed out before the ceremony due to my dress disaster. She could have easily called time as our session was over, but she wanted to make sure we had every photo we wanted. I have never felt more at ease with a photographer, and this is someone I had just met in person that day. If you want someone that takes the time to make sure you are satisfied with your wedding photos, talk with Nichole Emerson Photography. After running around all day, making sure everything goes perfectly, your wedding photos are going to be the only way you will remember details of your day. Go with someone you can trust. So glad we chose Nichole to photograph our wedding. I had to hire her from out of state, but was able to meet with her in person a couple of months before the wedding. Nichole was flexible to put together a package based on our needs. We did our engagement photo shoot the week before our wedding and had so much fun with Nichole. We both enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Nichole was very organized and low pressure. She made it easy to get some great shots and everyone felt at ease! -

There are not enough good things I can say about Nichole. She is so kind, warm, and amazing. She captured our special day and helped our remarkable memories last forever (even in some extreme weather). She’s very responsive and comprehensive about what you’d like for your wedding day. Nichole was awesome! She was really responsive to our questions while we were still making a decision, and a pleasure to work with once we had. The engagement session was great and we were able to get to know each other and build some rapport that I think really helped her capture our day.
She has been excellent about communicating throughout, which has been really reassuring, especially in the last couple of weeks before the wedding. I would definitely recommend her. -

Nichole is the most professional, insightful and talented photographer I know! She captured my wedding in a classic, timeless style that I am so honored and proud of. She took direction for what I was looking for and over-delivered on the results of the photos. My family and friends were raving about the photos (my uncle is a professional travel photographer who couldn't stop raving about how talented our photographer is!) and since Nichole got us preview photos so quickly, it was like our wedding celebration was able to be shared and relived very soon afterwards. I cannot recommend her enough and feel as though she was an integral part of my wedding. We will look over these photos for years to come and cherish them in a way like no other. Thank you Nichole! -

Amazing photographer and amazing experience
We loved getting to work with Nichole!! She did a great job getting to know us, seeing the venue and understanding our needs - all before the big day! Day of was flawless. Laurie Sent on 08/12/2018Nichole shot our wedding in early June. First of all, the pictures are stunning! My husband and I couldn't be happier with them. We love the colors and the composition. We love both the candid shots and the posed shots (family groups and couple shots) equally. There are also a lot of them (so many to choose from)!
Nichole did an absolutely wonderful job capturing our day and the feel of our day. She asked us a series of questions prior to the day -- designed to help her capture everything we wanted -- and she expertly did. She also paid a lot of attention to the little details of our wedding -- the venue inside and out, the decor, the band, the food, a picture of our bartender, etc.. These are things I did not even ask her to include and I am so glad that she did!
Nichole was wonderful and good-natured. She was a dream to work with and very organized. We will use Nichole again -- for anniversary photos or professional photos or something -- she's our new go-to photographer. -
