David is literally the best! I am so happy we decided to book him for our wedding in Sonoma. We got the videos back quickly, and they are absolutely amazing! We are crying looking back at them. Our experience with David from Nice Shot Films was nothing short of amazing. We hired him for our wedding in Carmel Valley in May 2023, while it was his first time at the venue he effortless got amazing shots. Working seamlessly with our photographer, he exuded professionalism and teamwork, making it seem like they were longtime collaborators. David not only embraced our ideas but elevated them creatively, such as orchestrating a unique tunnel formation with our bridal party after our basketball-themed introductions.
In the face of unforeseen challenges during our wedding, David's commitment shone through as he graciously stayed extra time, ensuring our wedding video captured every special moment. Remarkably, he delivered the final product the next week, allowing us to relive the magic instantly.

David is the best in the business. From the beginning, he was communicative and 100% supportive. On the day of the wedding, he continued to make us feel supported, ensured we were having the best day, and captured the sweetest moments that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime. He is not only a great videographer, but also an amazing person that added to our magical day. We received our wedding videos not long ago and they are so cinematically beautiful. Not a detail was missed from when we said I do to our loved ones’ heartwarming toasts to dancing the night away. We love reliving our day and it is all thanks to David. I cannot say enough about how amazing David is. I only had to watch a few seconds of his wedding videos on his Instagram to know that this guy was TALENTED, and we had to hire him. We set up a phone call with him to talk over details and other specifications shortly after reaching out to him. Side note, this guy is super responsive. It is impressive. With most vendors, my fiancé and I would speak with them and then say we would get back to them once he and I had talked a little more. Not with David. We told David that night that he was hired. He was so fun and easy to talk to. Our personalities matched and worked well together. He could get down to business but also have fun at the same time. When it came to the day of the wedding, David was extremely punctual, professional, and clearly passionate about his career. He and our photographers worked really well together and made an excellent team! We can’t wait to see our video! Oh yeah…turnaround time is 3 weeks which is unheard of! We will be getting our video tomorrow and I think I am more excited about it than Christmas! Thank you David for being everything and so much more!

As a Bride who wasn't sold on getting a wedding video, I now can't be more pleased and thankful that David convinced me to get this memorable film and that he was our videographer!
Not only were his reviews convincing, but watching his films online made me cry over happiness for total strangers! Any one who can do that is talented!!!
David was willing to answer all of our questions, listen to what we liked/disliked from wedding videos we've seen, and work within our budget and day of timeline! We received numerous compliments from our guests over the fact that he was so non-intrusive while filming on our wedding day and we didn't know he was present for some moments until we watched the video back! He's exactly what a videographer should be!
He was quick to get our teaser trailer to us after our wedding day and before we knew it we had all the films in our inbox! The moments he captured were priceless and his edits are smooth and natural. He let us have as much or as little say in the outcome of the film and was even willing to change some of the clips in our video!
He captured every moment and feeling of the day and we're so grateful to him that ourselves and our families will now be able to relive the dream day over and over again! -

David and Rhyne are absolutely amazing at what they do and captured our wedding day beautifully! David was incredibly responsive to all our questions and put us at ease with his friendliness, experience, and professionalism, which is great with all the other hectic parts of wedding planning. On the day of, they showed up early and worked seamlessly with our photographer. They deliver the films in three weeks (!!!), which is already super fast compared to others in the wedding industry since some people wait months and months.
The wedding highlight video was AMAZING and everyone who's seen it raves about how well crafted and edited it is - brings me to tears every time! We also enjoy the full footage of the ceremony and speeches. Plus, the drone shots are incredible and add a nice touch to your wedding films! We will look forward to watching these over and over again as the years go by. Thank you Nice Shot Films, you guys are the best!! -

Nice Shot Films (David D. Myers) came highly recommended to me [us], but it’s not always about the work that makes choosing someone the “perfect” and right fit, but also the “chemistry” and connection that is shared.
Selecting the right videographer is such an important and crucial part of a wedding; having someone help capture and illustrate the love and relationship that is shared- is a sacred thing and having absolute trust in them goes without saying!
Even from the first telephone conversation David and I shared, I knew he was perfect; that we would have a special and unique bond together, one that would last even after our wedding, and I was right!
He is personable, professional, warm and kind hearted, and his work- both beautiful and brilliant.
While getting to know him, it wasn’t long before he became so much more than our amazing videographer, but also a good friend that WE were honored to have during the most incredible and memorable day of our lives!
Thanks to David, we will always be able to relive the raw emotion, beauty, and love of our wedding and couldn’t be more proud and appreciative to have them on our magical and unforgettable journey!

I'm a professional film producer who has worked on productions in LA and New York so you can imagine how picky I am when it comes to video production companies. When my sister was planning her wedding I helped her select a vendor to capture her special day. Nice Shot Films is by far the best company we could have asked for. David was so easy to communicate with and he was very professional while filming at the ceremony, reception, and send off. We got about an hour behind schedule on the wedding day and David worked with us to make sure every special moment was captured. The final deliverables (highlight, ceremony, and extended cut films) were fantastic. My grumpy old Stepdad who never cries said he teared up during the touching highlight film Nice Shot Films created of my sister and her husband. You will not regret choosing Nice Shot Films to capture your special day! -

Chanel Sent on 12/03/2017First off, I'll start by saying David and Rhyne are not only incredibly talented but also incredibly kind and fun people to be around---especially on a day as important as your wedding day.
David kindly met with us at our reception venue and allowed us to not only witness his creative genius but also get to know him as a person! We signed NSF that day because we knew they were "the one".
Nice Shot Films did a phenomenal job on our wedding highlight video. We cry every time we watch it which means they truly captured the beautiful emotion of our special day. I appreciated them taking the time to tell us what to do in order to achieve the best shots as well them being so positive which allowed us to feel comfortable real quick! I loved how we received our own website with the link to our video and the sweet blurb they wrote about us and our wedding day. There was a super quick turn around of all our materials as well. Also, they use the same cameras HBO uses for documentaries, need I say more?
Out of the many decisions we made for our wedding day, hiring Nice Shot Films to cover our wedding was one of the best. -

From the first meeting to final delivery, he was professional, accommodating, great to work with, and (most important of all) he showcased our wedding with a cinematic and artistic eye. Both our highlights film and feature film made our families cry with joy, and this last-minute decision to hire Nice Shot Films was one of the best things we did for our wedding. I am writing this review so that anyone considering hiring Nice Shot Films and its owner, David, is fully aware of my experience.
When we first met David while planning our February 2025 wedding, we were genuinely excited. He came across as personable, professional, and confident in his ability to deliver exactly what we wanted. He met with us multiple times, often alongside our wedding planner, and repeatedly assured us that every important moment would be captured and produced. Based on those assurances, we hired him for 13 hours of coverage and paid for the extra time to ensure nothing would be missed. Unfortunately, our trust was misplaced.
To his credit, the highlight reel he delivered was well produced. However, to this day, we still do not have the full wedding video we paid for. What he provided in place of a complete film was essentially the highlight reel with speeches added and a few scattered clips. It was nowhere near the full coverage we were promised. The most heartbreaking failure was the church ceremony video. The footage was practically unusable—the audio was never edited, leaving only raw microphone feed where the only sounds are my wife and me breathing or shuffling. It looked as though he set up a camera on a tripod and walked away. For a once-in-a-lifetime event, this was devastating.
When we raised these concerns, David’s proposed resolution was troubling. He offered to refund our money only if we accepted the raw footage without any independent review and agreed never to share our experience or leave a review. While at first it seemed fair that he was willing to refund us, the condition that we remain silent and accept potentially useless footage without outside verification left us deeply uneasy. Having already seen the quality of the church video, I wanted an independent video editor to confirm whether the rest of the footage was usable before making such a decision. David refused.
This left us in a painful position: either accept a refund under restrictive conditions that silenced us and risk being left with unusable footage, or hold him accountable and lose any chance of recovery. For newlyweds relying on professionals to capture the most important day of their lives, this was not only disappointing but deeply unfair.
Instead of being proud of our wedding and sharing it with family and friends, we are now forced to litigate this matter to obtain what is right. We only had one wedding, and the opportunity to properly preserve it was taken from us. -

David came highly recommended. After viewing his work on his website and social media, we felt confident he would capture our wedding well. Our wedding was not traditional — my husband is Assyrian and I am Mexican — and included important cultural events we told David about.
We originally booked 10 hours of coverage, but about 10 days before the wedding we became concerned that would not be enough to capture all essential moments. After discussing this with David and the photographer, we increased coverage to 13 hours so the day’s events — from the morning ceremonies at both bride and groom homes through the reception dancing — would be documented.
When the videos were delivered, we received a ceremony video, an 11-minute highlight reel and an “extended cut” that included one of the first looks (there were three but only one was captured), the venue entrance, speeches, first dance, and parent dances. No other footage from the day was provided. We initially assumed a longer main edit was missing, but David told us that was all the footage he had.
Many important moments were omitted completely or shown only for a second or two. For example, the Assyrian “taking out the bride” ceremony — when the groom and his family arrive to the bride's home with traditional zorna dabula music, request the parents’ blessing, present gifts to my brothers who block the door and then escort us to the car — was reduced to brief highlights. We wanted a minute-by-minute record of that event and other cultural elements, not just fleeting clips.
There is little or no substantial footage of the groom and groomsmen getting ready, me and my bridesmaids getting ready, me pinning boutonnieres, cocktail hour, or the reception dancing. It felt as if David did no advance work to understand our expectations and priorities. When we raised these concerns, he offered a refund only if we signed an agreement preventing us from speaking negatively about him or pursuing the matter further. He also refused to allow a third-party video editor to view the raw footage to see if the video we want can be produced before signing the agreement. We never asked for our money back; we asked him to deliver a complete video that reflected what we paid for.
Rather than addressing the issue or producing the video we requested, David effectively tried to buy our silence. Our wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event and worth far more than the fee he charged. His refusal to correct the problem or release the raw footage to an independent editor has prevented us from hiring another editor to create the video we expected. Other videographers we consulted agreed that 13 hours of coverage should produce a substantially longer edit that captures the key moments we repeatedly emphasized — especially given we confirmed the extended hours shortly before the wedding.
David maintains he fulfilled his obligations, but when the majority of essential moments we specified are missing, or reduced to a few seconds, that claim is unfounded. It’s like hiring someone to make a film and receiving only the trailer. Delivering roughly two hours of usable footage from a contracted 13-hour day does not satisfy the agreement or our expectations.
