We booked the service a few days before the date. We planned for a very simple ceremony and I didn’t know what or who to expect. We received a response immediately and thankfully there was an opening for our date. Minister Eugene has a soft spoken voice and warming presence. Absolutely wonderful
We were a couple from the UK and chose to marry in new york. We contacted minister Eugene explained what we wanted and where we wanted to marry in central park. But not coming from new york we didn't know the best places. Minister Eugene gave us options for a quiet location. Once the appointments for getting our marriage licence became available minister Eugene emailed us in the uk to book our slot and for the picking up of our marriage certificate. Everything was easy and we didn't need to worry about anything. The day of our ceremony was absolutely magical. The service was beautiful and the words chosen by the minister for our ceremony were personal and made it even more magical . The location was magnificent we couldn't have chosen better. I would highly recommend minister Eugene and his team , we had a beautiful wedding in a beautiful part of Central park and I can't thankyou enough.

Eugene is very sweet, timely and performed a beautiful short ceremony (which is what we requested)! I was afraid our Location and weather (9 degrees in the AM) would scare him away, but Eugene didn’t mind in the slightest… he was willing to go to our location early, during very cold weather and was still very pleasant! I couldn’t tell in any of our videos that he was even cold! He’s a true professional and honestly priced much better than most officiants I looked into.
The same day of our ceremony we received tracking information for the filing and a scanned copy to my email of the completed certificate. 10/10 recommend Eugene!!

Professional, Responsive, and Personable. Above and Beyond Experience.
Communicative: Minister Eugene communicated very promptly over email, and was very clear in what to bring, what to expect, and the entire process. No need for a lot of back and forth emailing and phone calls that just adds stress.
Flexible: Minister Eugene was flexible when we changed our time.
Professional: Minister Eugene gave a great speech during the ceremony, had napkins ready for the tears, held on to our rings, had a pen ready for us to sign the marriage license, and sent out our marriage license the next business day with the tracking number with an estimated timeframe of when we can get our certificate back.
Above and Beyond: When we didn't get our certificate back, I reached back out to Minister Eugene and he promptly responded with a contact within the government to reach out to, as well as an alternative to go in to city clerk and get my certificate in person.
Personable/Passionate: Minister Eugene was just a kind soul, and his passion for marrying people really shines through. After the ceremony, before leaving, he gave us his formal blessing as his final words before leaving! I was really touched by the whole experience. He made our wedding day special!

Perfect Wedding

What an amazingly kind and caring human
Minister Eugene is one of the most helpful, Kind, caring and compassionate person we've ever met. From the get go he helped us with all our worries and questions, as eloping from the UK to the US involved a few appointments, some paperwork, pre-planning etc Minister took that headache from us and help our hands the whole way, which he didn't have to, without his help we would've been stuck and not had our dream wedding. As for the Venue suggestion, he nailed it and advised such a great location to get married (Wagner Cover) such a beautiful spot on a hot sunny NYC day.
The ceremony itself was beautiful, the Minister has the most amazing softly spoken voice with beautifully elegant words that flow off his tongue in such a soothing and calming way, this made us very at ease, and he explained the whole process of how it was going to pan out before the ceremony, so we had an idea of what to expect. After the ceremony was done he gave us further blessings which we thought was so kind and touching, and we will cherish those words for life.
If you are thinking should I, shouldn't I, just do it, you will not find another minister with this much care, support and loving nature as Minister Eugene has we promise you he will make your day so much more special as he did for us, and we cannot thank him enough for this.

Eugene was the best choice we could have made for an officiant! He went above and beyond to accommodate the specific time we wanted to get married at. Whenever we wrote to him, he responded immediately and was very helpful. Meeting him in person was also a delight! He was very polite and kind, and made us feel happy about the whole situation. We Seriously Lucked Out
Minister Eugene was very responsive and informative from the beginning, and we booked him with less than a week of our elopement. He showed up when he said he would, looking and carrying himself in a very professional manner. The way he officiated our ceremony (including the vows he prepared for us) was intimate and even artful, using inflections and tones very effectively. He followed up with us after the ceremony, keeping us in the loop with the shipping process of our license. With his surprisingly competitive pricing structure and our time constraints, and considering the level of service he provided, we seriously lucked out.

Wonderful Alternative During Times of Covid
My now husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with New York Married and Minister Eugene! We aren't able to have a real ceremony now with friends and family because of Covid-19, so we opted for a simple elopement. Minister Eugene was amazing, the choices of officiants is wild, but I am glad we decided on Minister Eugene for our ceremony. He led us through a zoom ceremony that felt very personal to the two of us. He was very responsive and accommodating with requests by email, even 1 hour before the ceremony.

We wanted to have our virtual ceremony in the park and we were looking for an officiant online. When I found New York Married I sent a contact email, the response was right away, very friendly and informative. I had a lot of questions because I had no idea how a virtual wedding would be conducted. But all emails were responsive and cleared all our worries. We were able to choose the perfect package for us!!
On our big day, even though we were a little nervous before the ceremony, as soon as it started, we felt relaxed and we could enjoy every single moment. We are very grateful that we found New York Married because it helped us through our virtual wedding journey from the beginning until the end with the biggest support!

Minister Eugene was awesome! He was very nuanced and emotive during the ceremony, as well as being super friendly and calm. We had the in-person (intimate package) and he was very professional about the whole thing given it was during covid. He was also super helpful and responsive with the administrative side of things as well, going above and beyond where he could. We're so grateful this service exists! We had to postpone the wedding we've been planning for 3 years because of Covid-19, but we still wanted to get safely, and legally married on our original day. New York Married was the only place that had an affordable Zoom ceremony option, and it was so perfect! Our officiant was so kind and helpful and walked us through the process of getting everything signed correctly and submitting our license. My fiancé and I used NY project Cupid to get our license but needed someone to sign it. (We are planning a larger ceremony and reception once everyone can travel more safely.) While I was initially nervous about finding someone to officiate online, I was pleasantly surprised by Minister Eugene’s responsiveness, flexibility, and preparedness. He’s obviously helped a lot of couples and everything went smoothly. He had prepared some sweet remarks and also offered to record a video, let us make our own vows, etc. I can confirm we received our license from the city clerks office about 2.5 weeks later. Excellent officiant
He is a great wedding officiant, and the online witness is also nice. The officiant made our wedding become wonderful, romantic and beautiful by his meaningful sentences. I definitely want to recommend him to other couples and my friends.

Incredible Experience
We had an incredible experience with Minister Eugene. He has a wonderful energy, was very diligent and quick to respond and the ceremony was wonderful. All of our attendees, both in person and virtual raved about his energy and execution of the ceremony.

*Exactly* what we were looking for!
Since the rona crashed our original plans, we decided to parse our legal affairs (now) and personal celebrations (later). Minister Eugene got back to us right away and helped us set everything up just like we wanted. His thought and care made what could have been a very perfunctory event much more personal and memorable.

Amazing Experience
Our families and us were surprised by this e-ceremony. We didn't expect so much warmth and good vibes. Eugene was a calm, elegant and lovely presence throughout the ceremony. The "highlight" of the event was when we lost the connection 1 minute before saying "I do". Then we connected again and everything was great. After the wedding our families told us that Eugene was really fun, entertaining the guests until we got reconnected. So he actually turned an embarrassing incident into a fun and special moment.
We really enjoyed the ceremony and we were very lucky to find Eugene!
