  Dream Florals

  Lena Shedd is an amazing florist, she is super talented, communicates well and anticipates your needs before you think of them. The florals she did for my wedding were very elegant and her service was unparalleled. Though we never got to meet in person (as I was getting ready somewhere else), she was able to make the perfect creation just based off of my notes. She also understood budget constraints and made suggestions based on her vast experience. I can't thank her enough for making the day so special!

  Superb Florist

  My daughter married on 7/31/2021. This was my first experience planning a wedding and I lucked out in picking Newbury Bay for the florist. I cannot say enough about my experience. Working with Lena was a great experience throughout the process. She was patient with my questions and changes and the flowers that she delivered and set up exceeded our expectations. If you need a florist for your celebration, this is the place!

  Lena is amazing!!!!

  I reached out to Lena at Newbury Bay and her response to my inquiry was very quick. She asked all of the right questions and her proposal to my vision was breathtaking. Her knowledge of different flowers and accent plants is amazing I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect arrangement and within my budget. I could reach out to her and she would respond in such a way that I felt I was talking to a friend. I can tell how passionate she is about her business and about making my special day as wonderful as possible.

  Lena is amazing!

  Lena is a sweet and talented florist! She created centerpieces and bouquets for my wedding. I could not have asked for anything more perfect or breathtaking. She incorporated my tastes and preferences from my mother (gotta make her happy since she was paying for them haha) and it turned out amazing! Lena is very professional and answered any questions I had in a timely manner, as well as send tons of info and ideas. I am so happy I found her!

  My husband and I LOVED (and still do) our wedding flowers! Something I loved about Lena is that I never felt like a "sale" to her. Lena is an incredibly friendly and helpful person. I had a vague vision of what I wanted my wedding flowers to be like, but she helped me to figure out exactly what I wanted. She gave me time to finalize my thoughts and was extremely flexible throughout the whole process. She took care of everything and set the flowers up the day of the wedding. During our first meeting she showed me flowers she thought went with my vision (she was spot on) and before I got home I had an initial proposal with flower suggestions (with pictures) and budget estimate in my email. Her prices were very reasonable and she gave suggestions of things I could do if I wanted to cut the cost. Lena is an amazing florist and I would gladly recommend her.

  Flowers were one of the most important parts of the wedding for me, I love flowers. Lena is incredible and I am so glad we worked with her - in early summer 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. In the midst of all the stress and substantial changes to our wedding, Lena was a steady and reliable vendor. She remained in regular contact and provided updates on how the pandemic was affecting flower production around the globe, it was such a helpful insight. She worked with us on potential alternative plans several times. While picking out the color scheme and flowers, she was an inspired and creative planner. The results were beautiful, we loved ALL the flowers! We got so many compliments. Lena was also responsible and safe and followed all pandemic protocol. She is very experienced, friendly, and helpful. Definitely an amazing choice!

She's the only florist that sent me an initial proposal with flower suggestions and budget estimate before our first meeting, while other florists didn't want to share any information until they met you for an hour. Before the wedding day, she proactively kept me updated of any changes, no matter how trivial it is. It makes me feel confident and well-assured that she'll deliver what I want and will take care of all the details.
  
  Second, she's very personable, patient and listens to my request. She didn't impose her ideas on me, but really tried to create the flowers based on what I wanted, even though my descriptions were vague. I really feel that I was working with her together to build the flower arrangements. The end products were amazing and even more beautiful than I could imagine.
  
  Last but not the least, she's open to work with your budget, and really cool about the changes you want to make! I have met other florists who had minimum budget to work with (e.g. $2500+) and was not willing to make changes due to budget. Lena is amazing at creating gorgeous flowers from bouquets to centerpieces within your budget. She would propose the flowers for you based on that without compromising the quality.
  
  I feel very luck that I found Lena and hired her as my florist. Don't hesitate to contact her for an inquiry! Good luck to your wedding planning!

  My daughter just got married and being a wedding coordinator myself I was very picky about all details. I had never worked with Lean before but I cannot say enough great things about her. First off she responded to me quickly and got a quote to me in the same day. I had a tight budget and she worked miracles within it and never treated us less important because of it. She was completely professional and my decorator said what a pleasure she was to work with at the venue. On top of all of that the flowers were amazing. Exactly what we pictured we wanted but didn't think we could afford. All of the flowers lasted all day and then some. I will recommend her to every bride I work with in the area from now on. Thank you so much Lena!

  So far, Lena has been amazing! Our wedding is a bit less than 3 months away, but she has helped so much! I went in only knowing I wanted blue orchids, and she just kept throwing out ideas and letting me give my opinion. If I didn't like it, she threw out another one until we had the perfect bouquet set up! Then she had great ideas of the flowers for the rest of the bridal party. I'm doing our centerpieces myself to save money so I got her opinions on the flowers I was going to buy online for those, and she was extremely helpful and didn't mind that she wouldn't be getting my business for those purchases. She also didn't flinch when I emailed her telling her I added another couple to the bridal party and wanted to change the grooms flowers some. She just sent me the updated spreadsheet for the flowers! Amazing vendor!

  Lena was fantastic. She took our daughter's vision for her wedding flowers and made them happen. Our daughter's bouquet was gorgeous, all the decorations were set up exactly as discussed. Very happy!

  I sent Lena my ideas and she sent back this fabulous PDF with her ideas for each piece. The PDF included pictures of the different flowers for the bouquets, bouts, centerpieces, etc. I was so impressed! It was as though she read my mind!
  
  Then, when my mother and I encountered some challenges getting the vases (mason jars) to her, Lena went out and purchased them for us. Lifesaver! The final products turned out perfectly and they held up like absolute champs in the ridiculous 95 degree weather. Could not have asked for better service or flowers!

  Lena at Newbury Bay was a delight to work with. Very personable. She worked hard to make the arrangements look just as we visualized them. The quality of flowers she used was outstanding, making her designs gorgeous and long-lasting, We received many compliments on the flowers at the church, the bouquets and the flowers used in the table decorations.   Lena at Newbury Bay was a delight to work with. Very personable. She worked hard to make the arrangements look just as we visualized them. The quality of flowers she used was outstanding, making her designs gorgeous and long-lasting, We received many compliments on the flowers at the church, the bouquets and the flowers used in the table decorations. I would contract with Newbury Bay again in the future.

  Lena was absolutely wonderful to work with. She took my vision for my wedding flowers and brought it to life. I would absolutely use her again for any event where I needed flowers and would recommend her to any bride for their wedding. Her work was perfect!

  Lena Shedd, owner of Newbury Bay is absolutely amazing. She was perfect from beginning to end and she really went above and beyond for us. We found Lena on-line and set up an appointment to interview her at her home office in Olympia. It only took a few minutes for us to figure out that Lena was perfect for us. I didn't think I did a very good job expressing what I was looking for but she was able to read me so perfectly and right away came up with designs that I loved! We booked her right away and stayed in constant e-mail contact right up until the wedding (e-mail was easier for me due to my work schedule.) Lena is the consummate professional and very easily adjusted things as necessary along the way. I even asked her to do things that I would consider outside the scope of a florist and she was so helpful and graciously agreed to to extra things for us (like set up the ostrich feather centerpieces I rented from out of state....and she came back the next day, packed them up, and shipped them back!.) The day of the wedding everything was decorated so beautifully at the church and our bouquets and boutonnieres were so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. She and her staff then transferred flowers from the wedding to the reception and we didn't even know she was there! Lena and her staff decorated the ballroom at Indian Summer so beautifully and we were so happy with her talents and service. I feel like I could go on and on about her but I will just say this.....if you love quality, talent and service (and with all those comes a lot less stress).....book Newbury Bay!

  Lena, the owner of Newbury Bay, has been a dear friend of mine for many years. I have always been impressed with her floral designs and organizational skills. Not only did she do a fantastic job, better then I could have imaged, on my flowers and displays, but she hand collected drift wood with her family for the decorations and helped to make sure everything was organized for the day of. She really acted as a florist and wedding planner. He floral designs are also so unique I felt like my wedding was truly one of a kind!

  Lena of Newbury Bay did a beautiful job with my wedding. She is so easy to work with and has tons of great ideas. The flowers that she used from the bouquets to the centerpieces were so fresh and beautiful. I would definitely recommend Newbury Bay as a definite top choice for a beautiful wedding.
