Our wedding was “historic,” so we needed something other than regular limos. I’m so happy I found this trolley company! They were absolutely amazing: our driver was super laid back, a total sweetheart, and he played the best music for us while we danced inside under the color lights! The trolley trip was definitely the funnest part of the otherwise classic ceremony and dinner and we couldn’t be more grateful to the trolley company for all the fun! Definitely recommended! -

We used NY Trolley Company for our bridal party transportation for our wedding and it was a hit! The trolley was clean and our driver Reggie was kind and right on schedule. We communicated with David in order to book the trolley and he was also very efficient and quick to answer our questions. It was a really fun way to get around and it looked great in photos! Highly recommend NY Trolley for wedding day transportation! They were quick to reply to emails, reasonably priced, and our driver took great care of us. He was helpful with my dress, encouraged us to turn the music up, and navigated the narrow streets of Hoboken with ease. He even helped one of the bridal party carry the stroller onto the trolley. There was plenty of room for our whole bridal party and family members. Some of my favorite wedding memories were enjoying drinks on the trolley after the ceremony. -

We're so happy we hired New York Trolley Co. for our 10/1 wedding. They were super accommodating with our very detailed itinerary, and Daniel was a very friendly and professional driver. The trolley was a great way for me (the bride) to travel with my huge dress, but there was plenty of space for everyone else in the wedding party as we went from getting-ready location, to first-look photos, to the venue. Plus, it was a great shuttle option to offer guests who stayed in our blocked hotels. Definitely consider the trolley as a unique, fun, reliable transport option for your big day! -

We searched for weeks for the perfect trolley for our wedding. Wedding trolleys are expensive because they're white. We decided to go with NY Trolley company because they are your authentic trolley and built to have fun! They are traditional red and green and they make any bride stand out! Our driver Raynaldo was the best!! He hung up a just married sign inside the trolley and had a playlist ready for us. Use them for any event!! -

NY Trolley Company was a life saver for us on our wedding day. We needed transportation to our reception for close relatives and bridal party, lots of kids. After the church ceremony there as a time gap of about 1.5 hours and we needed to take some photos in between. The Trolley was perfect to keep everyone together and entertained while we took photos. The driver played music during the ride and he coordinated very well with my hotel which had our champagne and drinks for the kids. When my new husband and I got on (we were the last ones on) it was like a party on wheels. Everyone was comfortable and happy which is what we needed.
The company was very responsive and followed up with me for details before the wedding, which I really appreciated. The driver Reynaldo was awesome, he arrived an hour early. I saw him when I was leaving the hotel and he was so happy, he said I’m early! I was surprised but relieved to see him there.
Super fun and affordable idea. I was looking into private cars and I thought it was pricey and no point since everyone would be in different cars, this option created a mini party before our cocktail hour. It was very roomy too, we invited some extra folks on so as not to separate from their dates and some of my older guests.
We received many compliments and thank yous for inviting them on. -

NY Trolley was an easy decision for our wedding day in NYC. They were so helpful in getting our bridal party around town for photos and then all of our guests to the venue. We just gave them our scheduled for the day and they got everyone to the right places on time. The trolley was much more fun than a traditional bus and it looks great in photos, too - its very well-kept. Booking them was so easy, David was always available for our questions, and they allow you to put the tip in the invoice so its one less thing to think about on your big day. I would hire them again without reservation. -

We used NY trolley co to shuttle between a few hotels and our venue in September and could not have been happier. The driver, James, was very attentive to the passengers. This was the best and most fun way to travel from our hotel to the church then back to our venue. We were able to take great photos on the trolley, it fit all the bridesmaids, parents and groomsmen and Alan was the best driver who let us play our own music. I would HIGHLY recommend! -

Having a small wedding, we were able to hire one trolley to take our guests from the hotel to the ceremony location and then to the reception. We corresponded with David prior to the big day and he was incredibly responsive. Our driver, Angela, was absolutely fantastic and handled my rowdy Southern passengers with ease and humor. David was very easy to work with - he answered all our questions and was quick to reply to emails. They even accommodated some last minute changes to the itinerary. On our wedding day, they were timely and how the driver Reggie managed to get through the tiny streets of Brooklyn Heights, I don't know but I commend him for it. Overall a great experience. -

while i had some issues responsiveness from the company via email and had to request the final invoice a couple of times before i got it…i will still give ny trolley co 5 stars because of how great the trolley service was on our wedding day! our driver was amazing and the bus came stocked with alcoholic beverages which was a fun surprise!! it’s also nice being able to connect to the aux in the trolley. the driver was punctual and followed our itinerary perfectly. it was such an added bonus to our wedding day and i’m really glad we decided to use ny trolley co for our wedding transportation! -

Marissa Sent on 08/27/2014We liked our experience with NYC Trolley. We had two trolleys -- each a 34 passenger. We only used them for the trip ride from the hotel to the venue versus on the way home since we wanted to get nice photos on the trolley of our bridal party. We also thought it would be a fun experience in the day light. They were punctual, knew their way around the city, and my friends and fam got a kick out of them! I would recommend telling the type of music you want in advance or bringing your own, otherwise the driver will choose whatever he likes, and it could be something your guests won't want to hear (my dad needed to ask twice to change the music). Overall good experience. -

Do not do it!
am begging you not to book this company and am contemplating taking them to court regarding the way they handled my wedding on 6/17/22. Here's what went down: our pickup time was scheduled for 3:00PM. Around 3:00PM, the driver, Daniel, called me and apologized for his lateness, saying that he would be there in less than ten minutes. Daniel finally showed up at about 3:20 but I am a laid back bride and I was fine with the lateness. However, when we boarded the vehicle, it was sweltering hot. It was also literally filthy (there was all sorts of stuff strewn throughout, cleaning supplies like brooms and mops out, etc. it looked NOTHING like the photos on the website). When I asked David to immediately turn on the AC, he started removing window panels instead, stating that the trolley was going to overheat and that he needed to add coolant to the engine...immediately it occurred to me that this was likely why Daniel was late. My bridal party boarded the bus, and the heat was intense- it was 90 degrees in New York that afternoon, and it was about 10 degrees hotter on the trolley. I made it clear that there was no way that I would be able to spend a 45 minute ride in that heat after spending 500 dollars on my hair and make-up. I genuinely thought I was going to pass out. I went back inside to enter my air-conditioned home as I waited for the trolley to cool off, and contemplated taking an uber or having somebody drive me to my destination, because it appeared that the trolley was in pretty rough shape.
I was reassured that we would be fine, and that the temperature was cooling down. I reluctantly boarded the trolley, which was still boiling hot. Sure enough, about 15 minutes into the ride, the trolley died. Throughout this whole ordeal, I was repeatedly asking Daniel for his bosses' phone number, which he refused to provide. At this point, we were significantly behind schedule.
Mortified, I had my bridal party exit the trolley in the middle of a busy intersection and call ubers. As they stood on the side of the road with their hairstyles coming undone and their make-up melting off, we scrambled for rides for the 13 of us, which was not easy to do. People in traffic were honking at the sight of the stranded, crying, bride and her bridal party. At this point, we realized that we would need to make major changes to our itinerary. Because of this incident, I was unable to have my first look at my home or take any portraits with my puppy. I missed out on an hour of photography in general. I also was robbed of the opportunity to make memories with bridesmaids on my way to my big day, blasting music, having drinks, and having fun which is a part of the day that I was sincerely looking forward to.
I think possibly the most distressing part was that nobody from NY Trolley Company would provide an answer about the late-night pick-up, which we were contracted for. All of my bridesmaids and my bridal team at my venue tried for hours to get in touch with someone to understand if we would have a ride home after the event or if we would once again be stranded. During my reception, this was all I could think about it in the back of my mind. I was quite literally appalled when nobody showed up; I was certain that after the morning I had, NY Trolley Co would be there with the most reliable trolley in their fleet, a full refund in hand, and doing anything they could to make it right. Instead, there was ZERO contact, not even a "no, we won't be coming" so that I could try to scramble and plan accordingly. Again, I was extremely embarrassed as I had friends WALKING to my house from the venue at 12:30AM. I still haven't heard from them and it's 4:30PM the next day.New York Trolley Company's reply:

As you know, we refunded you immediately for the transportation. I offered to compensate you for your photography as well. We take a lot of pride in our small business, and I am very sorry for your experience. I really do wish you the best. -
