I had an absolutely wonderful experience at New York Bride & Co.! I had my first consultation in August 2022 for my June 2023 wedding and Kayla helped me out. She was excellent and so kind. The dress selection is amazing and I told Kayla some ideas of what I was looking for. Fortunately, I saw a dress on display as soon as I walked in and it was like love at first sight! After trying on two or three dresses, I tried the one I saw on display and knew it was the one. Kayla placed a veil on me and the tears ran down my face! New York Bride & Co. contacted me as soon as my veil and dress were ready, and picking them up was a seamless process. I can't recommend or thank New York Bride & Co. enough!

From start to finish, I had the best experience buying my wedding dress at NY Bride & Co! My consultant Laura was beyond helpful! She made the process so easy! Perfect fit at NY Bride & Co.
I got my dream wedding dress from NY Bride & Co. after several recommendations from friends and they did not disappoint! I was incredibly nervous during the beginning of my appointment as I was afraid I wouldn’t find something, that nothing would feel right, and that I wouldn’t feel confident, but Cheryl and the other staff members put me at ease and helped me find “the” dress; they were wonderful throughout the entire process.
During the time that I was dress shopping, COVID was very prevalent and there were limits to the number of people who could be in the store, but the staff allowed me to set up a laptop in the corner to host Zoom call with friends and family who couldn’t come in-person and it worked so perfectly!
Not only were they accommodating, but they calmed my nerves and helped me narrow my search after the first few dresses which helped in my decision making process. I was also surprised by how affordable their dresses were overall; I was worried that there wouldn’t be a lot to choose from given my price range, but they had a wide variety right within my range, which ultimately made picking my dream dress even easier! While they don’t do alterations at the shop, they provided a list of seamstresses they recommended which was very helpful. Overall, they were patient, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me feel confident and beautiful.

Amazing to work with!
I bought my dress in the middle of COVID. For most brides, this probably sounds like a terrible time. New York Bride & Co made my experience so wonderful with everything going on. The selection of dresses they have is amazing, and they carried the designer I fell in love with (All Who Wander). I ended up picking the first dress I tried on! I felt like such a princess during my appointment. I highly recommend!

Perfect shop, lots of dresses in all sizes
Everyone was extremely friendly and making an appointment was easy - even during COVID in August of 2020. The place was clean, organized, detail-oriented, supportive, and all around a great dress shopping experience. As a plus-sized women they had a large selection of dresses I could try on in many different styles which was super exciting as other shops failed to accommodate for larger bodies. The dress came in an average amount of time, ordered to the right size though as with every wedding dress it did need to be tailored to fit. They recommended a local tailor who did a great job. Overall, would recommend to any bride.

New York Bride was such a wonderful experience for my wedding dress shopping! I went with my bridesmaids and Mother and Mother in Law and had the best time trying on dresses. They were able to help me find my dream dress and were so on top of things when I would say I didn't like something or loved something. I honestly thought my dream dress was just in my head and didn't exist, especially for my budget, but they helped me find exactly what I had always pictured!

It was great !
I had gone through a few bridals that day and was finding nothing that suited me. When I came New York Bride, I ended up not only getting THE dress but also a beautiful cathedral veil that matched perfectly. Everyone at New York Bride was kind, and offered insight, especially the nice woman who helped me with my dress Nancy! She also was the one who offered my beautiful veil to me, and all of it for a good price! Just married a few months ago and I felt like Cinderella, thank you much Nancy and all of you.

My experience at New York Bride was great from start to finish. I was extremely nervous about dress shopping since I don't like wearing dresses or being the center of attention and I had no idea what I was looking for, but the staff at New York Bride actually managed to make me feel comfortable! Leanne helped me and she was awesome to work with. There was no pressure at all, the staff was helpful and gave honest opinions. There were many dresses to choose from and I felt they were made with good quality. My bridesmaids' dresses also came from here and so did my veil. My seamstress was Alex (I don't believe the seamstresses work directly for New York Bride, but are located there and somehow affiliated), she was so nice and did a great job. I have been to a couple other bridal shops for myself and others and none of them made me feel comfortable like New York Bride did. I'm very happy I chose to shop here.

I had a really great experience at NY Bride. I worked with Sarah, who understood my indecisiveness and was so patience when I wanted to try on every dress in the store. On my third trip, I found 'the dress'. The ordering process was simple, and the store called me at every stage in the process like when the dress came in, when I needed to start fittings, ready for pickup etc. I worked with Alex to achieve the fit I was looking for, and she did an amazing job with alterations. The dress was stunning and I honesly never wanted to take it off. I'm so happy with my experience with every aspect of working with NYB!

From the moment you walk in the staff is so friendly and helpful and its all about you as a bride. I have nothing but great things to say about New York Bride!! This was the first bridal shop I visited, and I bought my gown that same day. They have a great selection of dresses. The consultant was very friendly and helpful. I had my alterations done there also, and my gown turned out absolutely beautiful. They also have a great selection of bridesmaid dresses and offer online ordering, which was so helpful since most of my bridesmaids live out of town. They also will send your dress out to a company to get it cleaned and preserved. You won’t be disappointed if you shop here!

I cannot thank NY Bride & Co. for a truly WONDERFUL experience. Due to the lack of bridal salons near my home, I traveled two hours to NY Bride & Co. and am SO glad that I did. I found the shop looking for a specific designer (Stella York) and, much to my surprise, I found so much more! The number of dresses and designers were amazing. I didn't want to overspend on a dress (<$1,100) and the stylists were easily able to accommodate me. The staff are accommodating and friendly, which makes the experience so much more pleasant. I had an issue with my alterations and the manager of the salon went above and beyond to fix the situation. I would recommend this salon in a heart beat!

I went to NY Bride after visiting at least 4 other stores in Syracuse. Their selection is unparalleled -- so many dresses to choose from! Their dresses were very reasonably priced to start with and they were very willing to sell off the rack, which made them even more reasonable and allowed me to come in under my budget of $1000. We worked with Nicole, who was excellent: not pushy and extremely helpful! It definitely helped that we went on a week night when it wasn't busy. I would highly recommend!

I purchased my wedding dress, 5 bridesmaids dresses and my hairpiece from New York Bride so I was there quite a bit and each time I was there it was a great experience. Since they don't make appointments, if you are wanting more one on one time with a consultant I would avoid Saturdays but all of the consultants that helped me were great and the seamstress (I wish I could remember her name) was AMAZING! She spent about a 45 minutes to an hour with me at each of my two fittings and she made my dress fit like a glove. The shop is adorable and the prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend New York Bride!

I can not say enough good things about NY Bride! To start, you don't need an appointment. The store is spacious, the dresses are plentiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly but most of all helpful! I ordered my dress, it came in on time, and the alterations were beautifully done. NY Bride stored the dress until pressing it the day before the wedding which was a tremendous help. During our engagement another bridal store closed and while this in no way effected my own dress, I was so impressed by NY Bride's assistance to the brides impacted. Thank you Nancy, Cheryl, and Alli! My dress was perfect and I'd wear it everyday if I could. I highly recommend NY Bride. I loved purchasing my wedding dress from NY Bride! I haven't been living in the Syracuse area long, so I was not entirely sure where to look for a wedding dress. Since NY Bride does not require appointments and had some of the designers I wanted to look at, I thought I would give it a shot, and that was a great decision! Every one at the shop was incredibly helpful. I was shopping by myself, so having someone that was able to find dresses that I might like just based on ideas I had or critiques I had of dresses I was trying on was very helpful!
I ended up not only finding the perfect dress (Essence of Australia D2224) at NY Bride, I also had my alterations and dress preservation done with them! After alterations, the dress looked perfect, and I looked absolutely stunning!

I received my wedding dress from NY Bride & Company and I couldn’t be happier. I loved the décor and style of the shop. When you first walk through their doors, there is always someone there to greet you and help you find what you need. I ended up finding my dress at another bridal shop but couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with it, so I asked them to order it for me. I never once regretted my decision. This company truly cares about their brides which is hard to come by nowadays. Definite perks are on site dress alterations, allowing you to store your gown at the shop and they'll even steam your gown and veil before the wedding!

They have a wonderful selection, and prices are VERY reasonable compared to other shops I visited. Staff is friendly and helpful. I got married in Rochester (and live in Washington, DC), but traveled to Syracuse to try on dresses because we had heard great things about NY Bride and they didn't disappoint! They had a great selection and competitive prices. The staff were friendly and approachable and didn't pressure me to make a decision right away. I went to New York Bride after visiting 4 other wedding dress shops in upstate New York. While the outside of the shop leaves something to be desired, the inside is like a bridal palace. They have tons of wedding gowns, veils and accessories and bridesmaid dresses, and lots of designers and styles. The staff are all incredibly sweet, helpful, and knowledgable, and they work hard to help you find your dress. They do not make you feel rushed or pressured into buying anything, and there are ample fitting rooms in the large space so you never have to wait even though they don't take appointments. The dresses are in much better condition than in the other stores I visited, and they are constantly updating their styles. I cannot recommend New York Bride highly enough. It is THE place to get a dress in upstate New York.

I love working with NY Bride!
While searching for my dress, I found it to be the most lovely dress boutique out of all the others in the Syracuse NY area. I currently live in NJ, but grew up in the area, so I was happy to bring business to central NY.
My dress and veil were so perfect, and after my fittings, my dress fit my like a glove. They took great care of the dress, and really made the whole experience very special.

New York Bride & Groom was the best bridal experience I have ever had! The staff were very attentive, professional and accomidating. From the very first time I stepped into their suprisingly large store, and all the way through alterations, the staff made me feel at home. I felt their pricing was very reasonable, and their selection makes New York Bride and obvious place to shop! Since I had a few bridesmaids from out of town, I was worried that we weren't going to be able to get all of the dresses at one shop, but a consultant (Cassie) explained to me about their 'out of town' bridesmaid form online that made ordering a breeze! She also helped me pick out the perfect wedding gown for my special day by offering helpful suggestions on which gown looked best for my body type. New York Bride & Groom is the obvious choice for anyone who wants an amazing bridal experience from start to finish!!

NY Bride was one stop shopping, we were able to get my gown, the tuxedos, and the bridesmaids dresses all from here. I also bought my tiara and my veil from NY Bride. Everyone at the store was so sweet and helpful. They answered a million questions and were so patient with my wedding party as we tried on so many dresses. The alterations were so quick, and they were really flexible with our schedules.

Best. Dress. Shop. Ever. Don't even go anywhere else. The price, service and selection stomps the competition. If you're not a sample size, like myself, the selection of dresses that you can actually get over your hips is more than the itty bitty size 4 samples most places have. It was such a relief going to NY Bride after visiting a few other places. You have racks and racks to choose from, and no one follows you around like they do at the hoitey toitey places. I don't need you to watch my every move thank you. They let you browse around and take as many in as you want! They also store your dress until the big day, steam it and alter it all in one location. The alterations were very reasonable and totally perfect. The store is gorgeous after being renovated earlier this year. I almost wish I could do it all over again! :)

My mother and mother in law bought their dresses from here. I was very pleased with the quality of service and flexibility. I wish I had purchased my dress and my bridesmaid dresses from there. Their prices were a bit higher however the service made up for that.

I absolutely love NY bride. My dress came in quickly and they did a wonderful job storing it for me. In my last fitting, I noticed a few dirt spots on the skirt and they got them out right away for me. The staff is friendly and helpful and I love that you don't need an appointment. Oh, and Capri, one of the women that does alterations is absolutely wonderful. She took away every doubt I had when my dress first came in and I tried it on (it was very large in the top and she made it fit like a glove). The whole store has recently been redone, so it's really pretty inside and has a very pleasant atmosphere.

New York Bride is a very unasumming looking place from the outside, however, from the time you step in the door and remove your shoes (to protect the dresses) it's a wonderland of dresses. They have SO many to try and there is no pressure. Thier alterations costs and professional and priced right. Go there!

NY Bride was a great vendor. I found a dress that was being discontinued that originally cost $1000 and bought it off the rack for $200. I was so happy with the price and service that I also got my dress altered through them. Eugene did an amazing job altering my dress. My dress had several layers and Eugene took the time to see what would be the best way to bustle the dress so that you could still see the layers. Everyone commented on how beautiful my dress was. Even the photographer said she hadn't seen one like it. I would highly recommend NY Bride to any brides in the Syracuse area.

The staff was very courteous and friendly and were generous in helping me find the right dress. They offered lots of ideas and suggestions which I appreciated. They were also very flexible, as I live in another state, for fitting appointments and other services. They were also very gracious to my bridal party and my mother and spent equally as much time working with them and their dresses, which I was very impressed with. Also, all the dresses came in earlier than expected...nothing came in late.

No matter who "my" consultant was, they all were willing to help me if I needed something. They were honest in their opinions and gave really good advice! The dresst that I ended up going with was actually a consultant's suggestion. The alterations, though quite expensive, were also right up to par and the alterations girl made sure everything was exactly as I was picturing it to be.

I loved getting my dress at NY Bride! You don't need an appointment, and if you go on a non-weekend day, they have no problem helping you for hours! They took dresses off manequins for me to try on, and helped me find dresses based on the ones I was choosing. Definitely recommend!

Shopping for a wedding dress should be an experience to remember. New York Bride made the memories of my experience one to remember! The staff were especially helpful and encouraged me to try on a variety of styles. I did not feel pressured into purchasing a dress, and I walked away extremely happy with my decision. The little pieces of advice, such as buying an ivory gown instead of a white gown because of my complexion, were greatly appreciated. The alterations department was so helpful as well! My dress was ordered a size too big, but you would never know that based on how well the dress fit the day of my wedding. I felt like a beautiful bride on my wedding day with much thanks to New York Bride!

I only went looking at two stores and saved this store for last because I knew they had a dress that I loved. I went and tried a few on and saved the dress I was in love with for last. Tried it on, cried, and said yes!
The shop attendant I worked with was great and super helpful. They threw in a tulle cathedral length veil for free for me as well. And recommended a few tailors for alterations since they no longer offer them in-house.
I also ordered my dress in January 2020 but had no issues relating to COVID delays. Plus because we postponed our wedding, they stored it for me for over a year which was awesome.

My dress was the start of the show on our wedding day!!!! The experience shopping at NY Bride was one that truly felt like "Say Yes to the Dress". I joined with my sisters, mother, MOH, and grandmother and they pulled dress after dress. I had to have tried on 20-30 dresses! Despite all of their choices (and my own) the consultant I worked with brought a dress that she pulled based on my "vision". On the hanger - I refused to try it on... but she convinced me! It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I was torn between this dress and another that I had liked but once the veil was on, I was sold!

I got my wedding gown in NYC but went to New York Bride for accessories. My friend worked there at the time so it was a smooth trip! But one of the things that I want to shout out New York Bride for is the flexibility and the friendliness that I experienced. So I was able to bring in my wedding gown, try it on there and have a couple of the employees help me with picking out my veil, as well as a belt to accent my dress. It was so awesome. My dress isn't one that they carry so everyone kept admiring it and just complementing it and saying such great things. It made me feel extra special especially since I had bought the dress last summer and dropped 30 pounds since then so the dress was gigantic on me and I was feeling self conscious and doubting whether I even liked it. So thank you NYB for making me feel beautiful and making me fall in love with it again. I ended up going with this beautiful veil and the most gorgeous belt. It was all ordered and came in no time. Literally, they had been a little nervous because I had gone two months before the wedding and so it could have been a little dicey, but no it came in like two weeks. So AMAZING! I would go there again for sure. One thing that I think they could improve on is when you call a customer and let them know that their item has come in, and they call you back, you should ask for their name and confirm, versus not even asking that, and when I went to pick it up it was also a weird experience. Like they just gave me the item and didn't ask my name. I am like what if I took someone else's thing. Other than that they were amazing.

I got my Bridesmaid dresses from here and absolutely loved them. Everyone was super helpful and they have a huuuuge selections of dresses and colors.
My only issue was that every single persons dress came in to big so everyone needed to get alterations . I understand them not fitting correctly but two of the girls were falling off and they hadn't lost weight or anything.
But other then that the dresses were perfect so it was a small price to pay!

The Staff at NY Bride was excellent from Day 1. They were very knowledgable and helpful and when it came down to sizing they were spot on for my dress.
My dress was a Limited Edition, NY Bride designer dress and looked like what I paid for it. The lace, beading, and details were exquisite and I got so many compliments on it on my wedding.
The Alterations department was just as good, and they took the time to make sure you were happy with your bustle and any other alterations you had.
I highly recommend NY Bride for any Bride looking for a Dress in any price range ~ The quality is much better then that of Davids bridal and Alfred Angelo.

As a bride, I had a wonderful experience with New York Bride. They were great to work with and were professional and courteous throughout my entire experience. NY Bride had the most bridal dresses to choose from all of the other places that I went to (David's, Alfred Angelo, Phiajames, Pickers, SpyBaby...) which I really liked. Some people don't like that they make you take off your shoes when you get there but it's so much cleaner that way. All the dresses are beautiful. There's a lot of mid price range dresses which is what I was going far. And they did have some larger samples. Not a lot, but some. Most dresses have long enough zippers anyways so that wasn't really a concern.
The girls are very very professional.
4 stars for flexibility: The only thing I didn't like was that the balance is due as soon as the dress comes in to their store, not when you pick it up. However, I work in retail so I know how it goes when something gets ordered and then sits there, not paid-in-full in the warehouse forever.
They also have a LOT of bridesmaid dresses! Lots of different designers, good size fitting rooms... 2 of my bridesmaids got their dresses here. (We did different shades of pink with different designs so it worked out that way)

I purchased my dress in October and I couldn't be happier with that experience. They had a large selection in my price range ($1000-$2000). The employee who helped me the first time I went in was wonderful. I must have tried on 15-20 dresses. She never made me feel rushed and answered any questions that I had. I narrowed it down to 5 dresses and brought my mom with me to try them on again. Another wonderful employee pulled all 5 dresses (the lovely employee from my first visit had written them all down on my form). We narrowed it down to two and spent nearly wo hours going back and forth between the two before deciding. The employee never once became annoyed or impatient.
I love that they store the dress until right before the wedding. I will be having my alterations done here and will be returning with my matron of honor to purchase her dress.
My only complaint is that when I had gone in to check my dress (horrible day-matron of honor backed out, church wasn't sure it could any longer garentee my ceremony time, and I wanted to make sure the right dress arrived) the employee (whom I only saw this one time) informed me that I would never fit in my dress and questioned why I purchased one so small. I cried and wasn't able to try on my dress for months. I was petrified it wouldn't fit.
I have since tried it on and it fits perfectly, it hardly needs alterations (it needs to be shortened and bustled). Had I gone with a larger dress, I would be spending a fortune to have it taken in. This employee didn't know what she was talking about, but she had a profound negative impact on a piece of wedding planning that should have been very exciting.
**My alterations experience went incredibly well. The seamstress was extremely professional. I only had to go in twice and my dress fit perfectly. I was able to pick it up 2 days before the wedding and it was perfect.

Oh my gosh was my dress beautiful. The care the whole staff exhibited was first class. They had a lovely selection. I was really frustrated trying to find the right one until I got here. I think you will overall enjoy the whole experience. I got a good deal on a great looking dress. My mother couldn't be happier (for a change) and I wanted to cry at many times. They were remodeling the outside when I was there and the contractor guy outside was kinda weird, but other than that, I give this place the biggest thumbs up!

I had a great experience trying on gowns and choosing my gown here. After my wedding I was told my cousin, a bridesmaid, had not had a great experience - but then she ended up purchasing her gown there for her wedding this year! My gown was stunning, and the alterations department made sure I was absolutely happy with it before letting me wear it on my big day!

AWESOME! so helpful and accommodating. They gave me honest answers and were very knowledgable. Would 100% recommend them, especially Eugene and Nancy in alterations. To tell you how helpful they are, my bridesmaids couldn't figure out how to bustle my dress and called NYB on the Saturday of my wedding and Nancy knew my dress so well that she walked them through, over the phone, how to bustle it.

NYBride was my first stop when looking at wedding dresses, and after visiting a few other stores, nothing compared to the service and professionalism of the employees. Plus I fell in love with my dress the minute they brought it over as a suggestion! Everything went smoothly with ordering my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses. And they were so accommodating with alterations! One of my bridesmaids was coming from another continent, and they did alterations in less than a day since she wouldn't be here until two days before the wedding. Everyone was so helpful and wonderful, they made the experience so enjoyable during the whole process!

This place was wonderful. They made you feel comfortable right as you walk in. They have hundreds of dresses and are very willing to help you find the perfect dress. They are willing to work with you on what you want and what you are looking for. They made sure that my dress fit me the right way and that it looked the best on me. They also helped me when it came to pick out the bridesmaids dresses. They helped with picking the right style and color. They let you and the girls come in and just try on your dresses when you wanted.

I had a problem with my dress after it came in and I was very anxious. They got me in right away with a seamstress who was able to offer some solutions. What felt like a catastrophe to me turned out to be an easy fix with the right tools and knowledge. New York Bride and Co. really cares about their brides, not just the sale.

I was impressed with how attentive New York Bride was and all the men seemed to get their tuxedos and get fitted fairly easily. They were also helpful in making sure dresses got to my bridesmaids that were out of town. My only criticism is that I was not made aware that water tends to stain dyed wedding shoes a lot more easily than regular shoes and are difficult to clean afterwards, and when I called to ask what to do to fix the problem just before my wedding, the woman on the phone made me feel stupid and more panicked rather than explain what I could do to fix it. This was the only instance I had that was negative - overall it was a good experience.

I bought my wedding dress from New York Bride. I traveled over an hour each way to this shop from my small home town in central NY. I was very impressed with the sales team; they were very helpful but I wish they would have forced me to try on some dresses outside of my comfort zone or my preferred silhouette. I never had a “say yes to the dress” TV moment. I found several dresses that I liked and chose the best of those options, but I wouldn’t say I fell in love. (which I don’t think is this shop’s fault). I liked that all of the dresses were under our $2000 budget; I didn’t have to worry about trying on something that I knew we couldn’t afford. We had some issues with alterations as they did not alter my detachable sleeves and belt. Although it was a real pain to have my sleeves fall down throughout the reception, I was very impressed with NY Bride’s solution to make up for the issue. I highly recommend double checking your entire dress all over and accessories to make sure there are no pins and everything has been altered. Maybe a third fitting or a quick try on at the shop days before the big day is a better fix. By the time I realized there were issues with my dress we were getting ready to take pictures an hour before the ceremony. Leading up to this issue, I was very impressed with the shop and now that it is resolved, I am still pretty satisfied with my experience with NY Bride. Do I wish everything got altered and we had no issues? Of course! But things happen, and we’ve moved on.

Price-wise, New York Bride is comprable to other bridal stores in the Syracuse, NY area. They do have a great selection of dresses for all price ranges. Ordering items can take months, but they tell you that up front. Overall I was very pleased.

I enjoyed my experience with NY Bride. They definitely provided more options then other vendors in the area. I found more top designers and beautiful gowns at their location then at the many others I had visited. My gown was gorgeous, and I enjoyed the day I purchased it. However, I would recommend that you do not get your alterations done there, especially if you know of someone who does alterations. It was extremely over priced, and not sewn well, in my opinion.

I knew I had found my dress when all of the women with me and with other parties started to admire my dress. You get botique quality treatment and never feel like you are in a dress factory. The only negatives is the not so favorable pricing for the taloring of your dress.

I loved my dress, and the sales attendant that I worked with, but the owner and some of the other staff are a bit snotty. The dresses are also pretty expensive. Found my dress cheaper at another store in the area.

This was the first place I went to look for my wedding gown for our May 2016 wedding. When we came in I was surprised when she asked me who was going to help me in the fitting room. My best friend tried her best to clip me into dresses but was struggling. We felt like we were alone for most of the appointment because she disappeared. I ended up loving a dress but was hesitant to buy because they were closing for the night. I went to Alfred Angelo later in the week not intending to find anything but ended up finding the perfect gown. They made me feel like I was on Say Yes to the Dress.
I went back to NY Bride with my bridesmaids though and it was very successful. They have the most amazing selection! My bridesmaids each have different styles but it was easy to find navy dresses they each loved. When my cousin's dress came in she was swimming in it. Everyone else had better luck with the sizes they ordered. Thank you for making my girls look beautiful!

They were decent to work with. I needed a dress off the rack since my engagement was too short to order one. They were willing to work with me some on the budget. The girl that was helping find my gown the first time was not too helpful. She must have been new to the place. It definitely wasn't the "bridal" experience I expected. My girls and I did most of the work ourselves. But I did fine one! When I went back to try on the dress again, the girl that helped me seemed to know more and was more attentive.

By the outside, you would not assume what was about to happen,. as soon as you walk in you are directed to take your shoes off, which is great... i set up an appointment and had to wait for someone for over an hour, after which she directed me to go browse and see if anything poped as the dressing rooms were currently full (why couldnt i do this in the last hour? who knows) i found three dressed and let the lady know.. she said let me see if a room is availble.. nope no openings, its been three hours, and i still have yet to try a dress on. i put the dresses on and walk out, i made an appointment and expect them to be somewhat on time, i dont even wait at the doctors office that long!! they do have some wonderful dresses though! worth a look if you have time & money!

This is where I bought my bridesmaid dresses. They had a very good selection and some great prices. Some of the attendants were not overly friendly however, but its a beautiful boutique. They charge extra for alterations.

I was excited to go to New York Bride because it looked like they had a great selection to choose from. Not only was the selection mediocre, the service was inconsistent. The young woman helping me was very laid back and pretty helpful. The older woman, however, who barged into the racks to bombard me with rushed, unnecessary questions made me feel very uneasy and anxious. I knew exactly what I was looking for but she didn't let me get a word in edgewise. This is the second dress shop I have been to and I would not recommend this shop to a friend.
I was surprised that I wasn't asked any of the following questions (which I find to be important for your consultant to know since they're helping you find "the perfect dress"): Where is the wedding? What is the date of your wedding? What sort of look are you wanting for your wedding day? Let me see your ring!
Overall, I was disappointed with the customer service between the rude older woman and the (although pleasant) younger girl who didn't seem to have been in the field very long. I am a girl who lives in jeans in a very low maintenance lifestyle. While I have a pretty good image of my dress/our wedding day, it would have been nice to have a positive collaborative experience.

Beware!!! While you are being treated like royalty remember all they want is what is in your pocketbook. They have ruined my daughters wedding and we strill have 5 months to go!!! we were so blinded by the royal treatment we did not realize important questions were answered with vagueness. My daughters dresses are NOTHING like we pictured and basically we got a "too bad, so sad.....begone with you". I'm sure somewhere in the paperwork it says no exchanges even if it looks like someone else's dresses....but we were lead to believeicking from a ctatlog was never an issue because they were there to make it right....WRONG!!!....My advice mother's is...as your daughter is so excited and floating with happiness...be diligent....I have alot of work ahead of me writing letters...warning people and filing complaints.....what was to be a wonderful experience NY Bride has turned into a nightmare.....if anything changes it looks like it will only be because I will NOT let this store ruin something so special. So DON'T be WOOED by them it's alot of smoke and mirrors to take your mind off your pocketbook while they empty it....and then leave you hanging in the end.....we have to go buy all new dresses because of their too bad so sad policy!!!

I was very disappointed with New York Bride. Although my dress was beautiful and fit me perfectly it was not because of the help I received. However 3 or my bridesmaids were guided into dress sizes way to big for them. One of them was told to order the extra length of 5 inches which cost her extra money. Then had to pay extra money to have 6 inches taken off!!! It seemed pretty fishy to me
