  Incredibly passionate photographer

  Matt is fantastic! He booked us on pretty short notice, was open to working with our budget and delivered an incredible gallery while making the photo-taking process fun. My fiance doesn't love taking photos and he was surprised what a great time he had. He had a very quick turnaround for delivering our photos and upon first review, I cried! He made our dream engagement shoot a reality!

  Incredible photographer!

  Could not imagine my wedding day without Matt / New Hope Photography. Not only did he take the most magical photos, but he was professional and knew EXACTLY what to do. He was a ninja at our wedding - he moved around so expertly that no one knew he was there yet he captured the most perfect moments. I have yet to meet anyone that has mastered their craft as well as Matt has. I cried of happiness when we got our photos back, I could not be more thrilled with his work. THANK YOU NEW HOPE PHOTOGRAPHY! :)

  My husband and I have shot with Matt a couple of times and he is wonderful! He has a unique eye for photos, always makes us feel comfortable, is completely professional, quick and efficient!

  Matt was a dream to work with from the moment we signed our contract until the day we received our photos in the mail! I had a very clear vision for what I wanted our wedding photos to look like, and Matt brought all my ideas to life. Neither my husband nor I are very comfortable in front of the camera, but Matt made us feel relaxed and honestly I forget he was even taking pictures sometimes! I would recommend his services to anyone in a heartbeat!

  Matt has the rare quality of being equally professional and creative. He traveled across the entire United States to shoot our wedding, and the images are absolutely stunning. He will do whatever it takes to get those breathtaking photos, so if he suggests something unusual, I suggest you roll with it, he has the ability to make what would be a great photo, absolutely exceptional.

We chose him because of his personal style he saw through the camera, I knew I didn't want a bunch of cookie cutter wedding photos. He knew exactly what we wanted, he was the only photographer we met with and liked his personal style and personality. Our wedding photos came out beautiful, the schedule that he provided went through smoothly with the other great photographer he brought. He even brought frappucinos the morning of for my bridesmaids and I. Best part, he captured all of our wonderful moments and then took the time with me to put my wedding book together. It came out so perfect and we will have it forever. We wish you a lot of success Matt! Thank you!

  Matt was by far the best photographer we could have ever asked for when it came to our wedding. He was very flexible with our requests and gave us space throughout the day (unlike most wedding photographers!). To this day I still get compliments on our photos about how we had such a great photographer! When the day comes I'm sure we will have Matt fly back to Rhode Island to photograph other family members weddings :)

  Matt was fantastic to work with for our honeymoon shoot in Iceland. As a mixed race couple we have different lighting needs and he worked with us incredibly well. He had great ideas about how to use the light and scenery to bring out the best photos. He has boundless energy and we fed off of him during the sessions. Matt's professionalism could not be beat and we had a fantastic time. The photos are all over our home and I have no doubt we picked the right person to shoot us in Iceland. I recommend him without reservation especially for travel because he has a great personality and was fun to be around which is important when you're traveling with someone for multiple days.

He also is incredibly creative with light and color; my family and I really felt that our pictures were works of art, more than just photos (which we felt was particularly impressive as neither my husband nor I typically "take a good picture"). Matt was friendly, easy to work with, and comfortable to be around. In addition, we felt that he was VERY reasonable with his prices- I've known what some of my friends paid their wedding photographers, and I felt that Matt was much better with the work that he did, for much less than some of my friends paid. I have no hesitations in recommending him to anyone.
