  Beyond dreamy and brought our day to life

  Our wedding was on a Sunday morning and extremely intimate with only our parents attending the ceremony followed by a 50 person brunch reception, where the quartet played. The musicians arrived right on time and my venue got them taken care of so I didn’t have to worry about them at all. The music was perfect and really contributed to the intimate, light, and airy vibes we wanted. Absolutely recommend. Totally worth the money if you’re on the fence about it.

  Absolutely Phenomenal!!

  The Nelson Quarted recently played for our outdoor wedding and the whole experience was a dream.
  
  They were responsive, flexible, and consumate professionals from start to finish.
  
  Beautiful music set the perfect tone for welcoming our guests, our ceremony, and cocktail hour. Pop and jazz on strings creates the perfect wedding atmosphere, fun and familiar while still elegant. We received so many compliments on this group!! 12/10-- absolutely recommend the Nelson Quarted for your next event.

  Our guests loved them!

  Working with Nelson String Quartet was easy and fun! Gavon was very responsive and helped develop my dream song for the ceremony, which is now in their repertoire. It was exactly as I imagined it would be! We selected classical pieces for before the ceremony and had our guest pick what they would like to hear during the cocktail reception and we have received so many compliments on their performance! It was that extra detail that only live performances can carry that helped set the ambiance of the evening. As the bride and groom, we were not able to hear many of the songs while we were ushered around, but the snippets we personally heard were indeed great. Based on that and the amazing feedback we received, we are seriously considering hiring them again as an anniversary performance just so we can relive the magic of that day! Well done!

  You're in good hands!

  Great experience having Nelson Quartet play our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They had no problem learning and performing two original pieces when provided with sheet music in advance. Very professional and easy to work with on the big day!

  Variety of talent to offer, and classy music!

  I highly recommend these guys! We used a trio and picked traditional hymn music for the ceremony, and then switched up the vibe for more modern music during cocktail hour. I got a lot of great feedback from guests, they have a super wide variety of music to offer, and they're extremely flexible/helpful with any questions, planning, or music advice. One of my favorite compliments I received from some guests was that the reception felt classy walking into with their beautiful music. Give these guys a call!

  The Nelson String Quartet

  The Nelson String Quartet played 4 songs (one of which had to be specially made) for my Mother’s Homegoing Celebration and it was the most clear sounding, perfectly played, soothing music that I’ve heard. It really brought my Family and I Solace and Comfort on such a hard day. I greatly appreciated their patience and professionalism. I will never hire another quartet for my events.

  Perfect in every way!

  Nelson String Quartet was absolutely perfect for our outdoor wedding ceremony! They had a *huge* selection of songs, which made it possible for us to pick our favorites! They were talented and professional. The music was the magical cherry-on-top that made our ceremony extra special. Thank you Nelson String Quartet! You were fabulous!

  You can't go wrong with live musicians for your ceremony and cocktail hour and Nelson Quartet are some of the best in the business. I love working with them and they always surpass expectations.

  Perfectly amazing at the ceremony & cocktail hour!

  Nelson String Quartet did an amazing job for our daughter’s ceremony and the cocktail hour. They played a splendid mixture of classical pieces, religious hymns and music of today! Everything flowed flawlessly and our guests were so entertained! They are a class act! Highly recommend!

  Magical experience!

  What a lovely evening we had, music is magic, it sets the tone. Our Cellist and Violinist were wonderful playing a wide array of music and some very special requests...we all so enjoyed listening to them..Thank you for making such a special memory in such difficult times!

  Book them for your wedding!!!

  The Quartet was beyond amazing!!! 
  They were a great addition to the ceremony and cocktail hour. I could hear them play while we waited to walk down the aisle and their music made everything seem even more like a fairytale. They played some of our favorite songs during the cocktail hour and they did so good with more modern songs too. My only regret was to not have a camera recording them the whole time. I'd love to hear everything all over again!! We received so many compliments from our guests.
  Besides being extremely talented, the musicians were punctual and professional. 
  Can’t thank you guys enough for making our day even more special.

  Played beautiful music for our wedding

  Thank you all so much! We had a violin and cello duo for our wedding and they did a beautiful job. They played our selected songs perfectly and set up on time with no issues. Definitely confirm with them the specific verbiage for their ques before hand. Helped to make sure everything flowed.

  Although I was not outside during the prelude - we had so many guests compliment us on the musicians in the string quartet. They played the songs we asked during the seating of parents and entrance of the wedding party, and the song I walked down the aisle to was one I will always remember playing! It was beautiful!!! They answered all of my questions in a very timely manner and ensured I felt comfortable with the plan for the day. They also worked very well with my wedding coordinator. I am so happy we chose Nelson String Quartet to be a part of our special day and would pick them again in a heart beat!

  Wedding Trio

  We had a string trio for the start of our wedding. While I didn’t hear them, as I was the bride and hiding, we had several compliments about them.
  David was amazing to work with and there is a vast song selection to choose from.
  Organized and professional and highly recommended.

  As a wedding planner, I rely on all vendors to do a great job in order for the wedding day as a while to run smoothly. David’s team of musicians were prompt, friendly, and very professional... making my job very easy! And of course, they sounded beautiful. Their music was the perfect ceremony backdrop!

  Nelson String Quartet did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. David quickly responds to emails and they were very willing to accommodate me with the various unique song choices I wanted for the ceremony. They also did a lovely job during our cocktail hour. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone reliable, responsive, and accommodating.

  From the very beginning with booking I knew we were in great hands. So professional and the song list was amazing. I was blown away when walking into my ceremony at our wedding. My guests are still raving how awesome the quartet was and what a great touch they were to an elegant evening. Will definitely recommend them to everyone!
