Perfect for our Bridgerton Inspired Wedding
We absolutely loved working with The Nelson String Quartet! From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless—Lauren was always easy to reach with questions, everything was handled through email, and payment was simple through their portal.
The hardest part was narrowing down our music selections because they offer so many options! Even then, we had two special requests, and they made it effortless to bring those to life. For our Bridgerton-inspired wedding, having a string quartet was a must, and The Nelson String Quartet truly elevated the entire atmosphere—light, airy, romantic, and exactly what we envisioned.
Our guests were raving about how beautiful the music was and what a nice touch it added. Personally, one of my favorite moments was while I was waiting in staging—I heard them playing “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” as my husband walked down the aisle, and I had to pull myself together so I wouldn’t ruin my makeup before my big entrance. Then, walking down the aisle to “In Case You Didn’t Know,” a song they learned just for us, was surreal and so emotional. It was absolutely perfect.
Their professionalism was top tier—punctual, polished, and so easy to work with. We would recommend them without hesitation to any couple looking for music that not only sounds incredible but also creates unforgettable moments.
A fun full-circle detail: we actually attended one of their Candlelight Bridgerton concerts the night we got engaged (11/1/24), and having them play at our wedding felt so meaningful and special.
The Nelson String Quartet will always have a place in our hearts—we can’t thank them enough for helping make our day magical. -

Our wedding was on a Sunday morning and extremely intimate with only our parents attending the ceremony followed by a 50 person brunch reception, where the quartet played. The musicians arrived right on time and my venue got them taken care of so I didn’t have to worry about them at all. The music was perfect and really contributed to the intimate, light, and airy vibes we wanted. Absolutely recommend. Totally worth the money if you’re on the fence about it. -

I highly recommend these guys! We used a trio and picked traditional hymn music for the ceremony, and then switched up the vibe for more modern music during cocktail hour. I got a lot of great feedback from guests, they have a super wide variety of music to offer, and they're extremely flexible/helpful with any questions, planning, or music advice. One of my favorite compliments I received from some guests was that the reception felt classy walking into with their beautiful music. Give these guys a call! -

Nelson String Quartet did an amazing job for our daughter’s ceremony and the cocktail hour. They played a splendid mixture of classical pieces, religious hymns and music of today! Everything flowed flawlessly and our guests were so entertained! They are a class act! Highly recommend! -

What a lovely evening we had, music is magic, it sets the tone. Our Cellist and Violinist were wonderful playing a wide array of music and some very special requests...we all so enjoyed listening to them..Thank you for making such a special memory in such difficult times! -

The Quartet was beyond amazing!!!
They were a great addition to the ceremony and cocktail hour. I could hear them play while we waited to walk down the aisle and their music made everything seem even more like a fairytale. They played some of our favorite songs during the cocktail hour and they did so good with more modern songs too. My only regret was to not have a camera recording them the whole time. I'd love to hear everything all over again!! We received so many compliments from our guests.
Besides being extremely talented, the musicians were punctual and professional.
Can’t thank you guys enough for making our day even more special.

From the very beginning with booking I knew we were in great hands. So professional and the song list was amazing. I was blown away when walking into my ceremony at our wedding. My guests are still raving how awesome the quartet was and what a great touch they were to an elegant evening. Will definitely recommend them to everyone! -

Lack of communication
If you’re on a budget, please disregard their email about being flexible. This was Lauren’s response after asking if I could possibly get pricing for a Duo or Trio based on their email. Very dismissive and arrogant. -
