  Great overall experience

  We’d highly recommend Nelson Family Limo to anyone considering! We got a 26 passenger party bus for our wedding and are very pleased with our decision. They were easy to work with and responsive throughout the whole planning process. On the day of, the driver was punctual and friendly. Our wedding parties said they had a great time on the party bus. Very, very fairly priced!!!

  Wonderful and very accommodating

  Brian was so responsive and easy to work with. We had to adjust our plans a few times and he was more than accommodating. Our guests loved the party bus and Brian was so attentive to our needs. He even had a champagne toast ready for us as we all got back onto the bus. Highly recommend.

  Brian went above and beyond!

  To say planning a wedding is difficult is an understatement, but Brian certainly made the process much easier and exceeded our expectations! From the start, Brian was my point of contact and did an excellent job communicating with me to make sure everything went smoothly. We used the 26 passenger party bus and it really set the tone for the day! We all had a great time and Brian arrived on time to pick up and drop everyone off at the church and reception venue. He went above and beyond by setting up a champagne toast on the bus and was extremely flexible when photos took longer than expected at the church, causing us to go over our planned rental time. We are so grateful for Brian and his services on the day of our wedding and we cannot recommend him enough!

  After having bad luck with the responsiveness from some larger companies for transportation for our wedding, I reached out to Nelson Family Limo. When we called, we spoke directly with the owner, Brian, who was extremely helpful and flexible in finding a schedule that worked for us. As we got closer, we got worried that we would not have enough time in the schedule and did not want to cut our times too close. Brian was extremely accommodating with with us and helped us work this out. That day, the groomsmen left to get ready at a seperate location, and I noticed Brian was parked down the street 30 minutes before our pickup time. He was early for every pickup and so helpful throughout the entire day. He was extremely friendly and helped us have a good time. The bus was spotless with plenty of room for all of our passengers and the features in the bus were easy to use.

  Professional& timely

  Chris was an excellent driver for our wedding with Nelson Limo! He interacted with our family and friends throughout the night allowing for the dance party to continue even in the limo bus. He was professional, timely, and made sure everyone was comfortable during their ride. Thank you again Chris! :)

  We used Nelson Family Limousine for our wedding this past weekend on 4/8/18. We planned a CT wedding from Long Island, which made it difficult to select vendors without being able to meet with them first. We picked Nelson Family Limo after reading reviews and our initial discussions with Brian - not to mention because of the unbeatable prices. Brian was very courteous and professional, he arrived promptly and the limo bus was spotless. The interior looked brand new and was very comfortable, the bridal party loved it! Brian was a great driver and we felt safe - would definitely recommend this company to others!

  Brian from Nelson Family Limousine was a pleasure to work with. He was so accommodating and was patient with us changing the plan several times. The party bus we used was awesome and had all the bells and whistles! Including an aux cord and Bluetooth for jamming out on the ride! There was a champagne toast included after the ceremony and everything! We also used Nelson Family Limousine for a town car transport to the airport after our wedding which was very nice. Brian was kind enough to double back and return my husbands cell phone that he accidentally left behind in the car (whoops!). Friendly and professional! Thank you Brian!!

  We were so lucky to find Brian at Nelson Family Limo for our wedding. We used the 26 passenger limo bus, which was new, very clean, and beautiful. Brian and I were in contact in the days before my wedding because our itinerary had slightly changed and he was super flexible and responsive to those changes. On the day of, Brian went out of his way to make sure everything was set, including installing my nephew's car seat in the back of the party bus. He truly went above and beyond. He is super personable, professional and just a great guy! He had a champagne toast ready for us after the church, which was a nice touch! My wedding party commented on how helpful he was- going out of his way to make sure all were comfortable and enjoying themselves. The sound system was very easy to use in the bus as well- we just plugged in different iphones for great entertainment to the reception.
  My husband and I also used Brian for his car service to and from the airport for our honeymoon. He was even kind enough to bring us coffees when he picked us up in his beautiful, new car for our morning ride to the airport. We can't say enough about his service.   I usually don’t write reviews, and forgot about my experience with Nelson Family Limo for transportation to/from Newark for my honeymoon (went to Antigua now Newark). We had an early flight and the owner himself came at 4am. Great chat and great service. Next time I fly out of New York or Newark, or go to Met Life or Gillette Stadium, I’d absolutely use Nelson’s again. They were prompt, very professional in the planning phase, and overall had a great experience (even though he was a Giants fan). Highly recommended.

  Brian is easy to work with, very flexible and understanding. The only problem I had was not getting a response on time which made me nervous but he showed up 15mins before the set time. This is not a bad review. This is to show that we are human, to the couple that might expect quicker responses to know he will work with you but sometimes the responses will be a little delayed and there is more room for improvement. Thank you Brian. I will hire you any day!!!

  We heard about Nelson Family Limo from a family member and decided to book with Brian Nelson for our Saturday wedding date. The whole experience on the day of was great and very professional. He even had a champagne toast ready for all of our wedding party and ourselves when we got into the limo after the wedding ceremony! However, the communication and responsiveness with Brian wasn't the quickest or the easiest. After contacting him through email, I did not hear back from him until I emailed him again about a month later. Also, after speaking with him the week of the wedding, Brian texted me the morning of the wedding to confirm the pick up addresses, however, they were incorrect. He did show up at the correct pick up locations!

  If you're looking for a party bus...

  We are very pleased we chose Nelson Family Limo for our wedding day! The 26 passenger limobus was the perfect ride. Brian made it easy to plan everything prior to our big day. Chris was very prompt and attentive to all of our guests and the entire bridal party. His willingness to shuttle our guests to and from the hotel and venue was awesome! We were comforted knowing that our guests were transported safely at the end of the night. Also, our bridal party were huge fans of the Bluetooth speaker system that kept the party going even after the reception was over! We couldn't have asked for a better limobus! Thanks again!

  We were recommended to use Nelson Family by friends that utilized them from a trip to the airport but they must of had a different experience. At first communication with Brian was great but once we needed to make a change it became difficult and took several times to get it right. I finally sent a text and got a response and they were able to send out another limo for our guest which was great and helpful.   The only thing wrong with my wedding

  This vendor should do partial reimbursement for terrible service and not ignore people so he can keep his money by default.
  I think the problems stem from the top down here- unfortunately the owner when met with issues doesn't confront them. Don't expect to be reimbursed for poor service. I would avoid giving them your money until after the service has been completed or not book at all, otherwise you'll never see it back if you were unfairly charged for bad service. The owner acknowledged the bad service and didnt offer anything. I was 40 minutes late to my wedding and people were taking ubers because the driver who was supposed to be making "unlimited rounds" to a venue that was 8 minutes from the hotel was too busy on his phone to do his job. The owner acknowledged that he knew this driver had an issue but still stuck us with him and instead of reimbursing us has decided ghosting us x2 via email when asked for reimbursement, and only we only got any short, curt response when he was worried about a bad review, when he should be worried about long term success. I paid $1800 for a driver to make me late 40 mins, miss all my bridesmaids pictures and have people get ubers to our wedding. The unlimited trips for a wedding from 3pm-midnight probably totalled about 6 full trips back and forth which was definitely not worth the money. The owner doesn't understand that an immediate offer of compensation for bad service will result in more customers long term. Instead he has opted for short term gain and opted to leave the customer unsatisfied and highly disappointed by ghosting them and keeping his money.
  
  EDIT: This was never resolved- the owner never replied back to my email which is highly disappointing- he instead wrote the below response for "future customers", which I am no longer. No one is buying a review here- he missed the point- we paid full price for terrible service and there was no reimbursement or further email response, so it is left unresolved contrary to what he says. Very upset about this passive aggressive response to wedding wire and not my email. All he cares about is future money and holding onto his money, instead of satisfied customers.

  I think the problems stem from the top down here- unfortunately the owner when met with issues doesn't confront them. Don't expect to be reimbursed for poor service. I would avoid giving them your money until after the service has been completed or not book at all, otherwise you'll never see it back if you were unfairly charged for bad service. The owner acknowledged the bad service and didnt offer anything. I was 40 minutes late to my wedding and people were taking ubers because the driver who was supposed to be making "unlimited rounds" to a venue that was 8 minutes from the hotel was too busy on his phone to do his job. The owner acknowledged that he knew this driver had an issue but still stuck us with him and instead of reimbursing us has decided ghosting us x2 via email when asked for reimbursement, and only we only got any short, curt response when he was worried about a bad review, when he should be worried about long term success. I paid $1800 for a driver to make me late 40 mins, miss all my bridesmaids pictures and have people get ubers to our wedding. The unlimited trips for a wedding from 3pm-midnight probably totalled about 6 full trips back and forth which was definitely not worth the money. The owner doesn't understand that an immediate offer of compensation for bad service will result in more customers long term. Instead he has opted for short term gain and opted to leave the customer unsatisfied and highly disappointed by ghosting them and keeping his money.
  
  EDIT: This was never resolved- the owner never replied back to my email which is highly disappointing- he instead wrote the below response for "future customers", which I am no longer. No one is buying a review here- he missed the point- we paid full price for terrible service and there was no reimbursement or further email response, so it is left unresolved contrary to what he says. Very upset about this passive aggressive response to wedding wire and not my email. All he cares about is future money and holding onto his money, instead of satisfied customers.

I thank Therese for her insight into the service we provide so I can continue to improve service for future wedding transportation. I consider reviews to be an honorable practice to inform prospective customers about the service they can expect. I am very proud of my reviews throughout the years and stand by their intergrity. I did have an issue with a chauffeur that, to my own fault, gave every oppertunity to succeed. He was with me for many years and always had customers say good things but was difficult to work with. I have permantly corrected the situation so these types of things will not happen again. I expressed my concern the Therese and emailed her an apology. I was offered a chance to remimberse the family or I would recieve a bad review. Unfortunately, that goes against my integrity as a business owner and is something other companies do to purchase reviews. If their was a machanical failure, I would undertand. This issue has been resolved and I look forward to providing the best tranportation service that I can.
