I cannot recommend Nelson Coleman Jewelers enough! The staff that work there are incredible and they have helped us with all of our jewelry needs. From engagement ring to wedding bands to day of wedding gifts. Nelson Coleman will continue to be the place we go to for years to come. Special shout-out to Marie and Cara for helping us every step of the way! You both are lifesavers!! -

I'm not much a jewelry person, so I was a little nervous when my fiance's family gifted us with some diamonds from his great grandmother's ring. We knew we wanted to incorporate the stones in my wedding ring, but didn't really have a clear vision of what that would look like. Jaci was AMAZING from start to finish. She stayed within our budget with zero judgement or pressure, and custom designed the most amazing ring....which unfortunately was too wide for my tiny finger ;_: I was heartbroken, and nervous with less than a month to our wedding, but Jaci came up with several more designs almost instantly. The turnaround time for the final ring was amazing. My husband also got a ring through Nelson Coleman - when it came in a little different than expected, Jaci quickly contacted the company and had it fixed within a day. Nelson Coleman definitely got two new lifelong customers! -

My husband got my engagement ring custom made from Nelson Coleman. We decided to buy wedding rings from them as well as we were happy with how the ring turned out. It was nice being able to support a family run business. We have worked with Susie every time we go and she is always wonderful. He also had diamond earrings made for me as a wedding gift. We will definitely continue to go there even though we have since moved out of state. -

Nelson Coleman has been amazing to work with - I bring my ring in every 6 months due to my insurance plan for it to be checked, tightened, and cleaned. They are thoughtful, quick, and easy to work with! My rings are gorgeous and so is my husbands! -

Courtney Sent on 01/05/2016My boyfriend (now fiancé) and I walked into Nelson Coleman without an appointment one Saturday to take a look at engagement rings and get an idea of what my style was. Michelle helped us right away and our service was exquisite. First, we talked about what I was looking for in a ring, then I was sent "away" (I just went straight to the fresh cookies!) while they talked budget. When I was brought back, she brought us some stones they had in stock and showed me some in each cut that I thought I was interested in. Once I picked a stone, the fun started! I tried on more settings than I can count, and then narrowed it down to just a few. I was then sent away again so my boyfriend could pick the setting he'd like to give me, he did his business with Michelle, and we were out! Well, that was a few months ago and he just proposed on NYE...they could not have put together a more beautiful ring for me! I'm obsessed and would recommend ANYONE to go to Nelson Coleman for their jewelry needs. I can't wait to go back for our wedding bands! -

Kelly Sent on 10/18/2012My now-husband and I had actually found the ring of my dreams at another store (one of Nelson Coleman’s competitors), but really did not enjoy the experience at this other store – we felt pressured to buy on the spot, but at the same time there was no follow-up made and no availability of the sales staff to answer our questions once they realized that we probably wouldn’t be purchasing the ring that day. Disheartened, we searched for other stores in Maryland that carried the ring that I had fallen in love with...there was only one other store: Nelson Coleman.
From our very first appointment with Susie, we could tell things were different at this store. We made it to the store just before closing time, and Susie actually stayed after the store was officially closed to sit and talk with us and let us try on different styles. While everyone we encountered at this store was courteous, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, it was Susie’s friendliness, dedication, and attention (she would even answer us via email after hours) that led to us to choose this store for all of our jewelry needs.
I highly recommend Nelson Coleman, and really cannot say enough good things about everyone who works there. My experience was an overwhelmingly positive one, and they did an amazing job in helping to make our wedding everything we ever dreamed it could be! My husband and I both adore our rings, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you again for everything! -

As a wedding gift he purchased me a beautiful pearl necklace from this jeweler too! I guess you can say they are going to be our family jeweler now! Would highly recommend their staff! They are so nice and easy to work with! -

Naomi Sent on 09/10/2010From the engagement ring to the wedding bands, Jaci from Nelson Coleman was absolutely amazing! They are one of two sellers of Mark Schneider jewelry in Maryland and I'm so happy that I chose to work with them. Not only was Jaci extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with, she was patient when I was having a hard time deciding between two gorgeous rings.
We also had our wedding bands custom made. Jaci and the Nelson Coleman staff couldn't have done a better job if they tried! They were a wonderful start to my wedding planning journey.

Heather Sent on 07/12/2016My husband and I got our wedding bands here. He went with a tungsten carbide with a simple design and I went with a simple white gold band with a curve to accommodate the gemstone from my engagement ring as it's a basket prong, so the gems sit a bit lower on the band.
We are happy with the rings we chose and our representative was very helpful when assisting us with picking out rings. -

My fiance purchased my engagement ring at Nelson Coleman, and he has nothing but good things to say about the experience. He has a modification made to a Tacori band, and they helped him pick the loose diamond for the center. Once I got the ring it needed to be sized again, in addition to another ring I used to wear on my left hand. They did both sizings in a matter of hours. And they gifted me a ring holder when I picked it up. Now they are helping me pick the perfect wedding band to go with my engagement ring.
They also sent me a cute package in the mail, with a pair of earrings and advertisements for other wedding vendors such as a travel agent.
They made the entire experience of getting engaged really fun and special!

Nelson Coleman refused to give me the 10% off they offered when buying a wedding band. They neglected to place my order for months and when it came time for me to pickup my ring, they took away the 10%.
I was stuck between choosing to pay 10% more than original or go without a wedding band for my wedding. This is criminal
