  Nathan is wonderful! We loved our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos! Nathan is easy to work with and helps make things to flow smoothly! Our families and friends were very impressed and we would recommend him to anyone! Thank you Nathan!

  Oh my word was Nathan great! He was nothing but kind, has SO much great advice and expertise, and made 2 relatively photo-awkward people feel good in front of the camera! He also was a huge help with the timeline of our wedding- when we should do things and in what order- had awesome picture ideas, and helped us to organize and prioritize what pictures and moments we most wanted to capture. We only met him the actual day of the wedding, but exchanged about a hundred+ emails and phone calls before then and we were thrilled with his professionalism, happy demeanor, and calm guidance. He even went out of his way to come for our rehearsal dinner and take beautiful pictures there as well! Nathan is awesome to work with, his pictures are great, he is a wonderful/reliable/expert person to work with, and we received a ton of compliments on him and his organization/demeanor/picture taking at the wedding, before the pics even got to us (some even 48h later!). You will NOT regret this hire! Thanks for everything, Nathan!

  Nathan brings everything you want in a photographer to the table. First and foremost, his images are gorgeous – but it's not just the end result that makes him so great, it's how he gets there that's so incredibly valuable. He's a seasoned professional, so he knows how to walk you through every aspect of the experience – from scheduling photography for your wedding day to making minor adjustments in poses so that you look your absolute best – he holds your hand through the whole thing. He has a calming and positive presence that makes you feel relaxed in front of the camera. The best piece of advice I got from the person who recommended Nathan to me was to listen to his advice.   There simply is no one better than Nathan for your wedding photography. Nate shot our engagement, our City Hall ceremony, AND all events from our destination wedding in Mexico. Yes, he's that consistently amazing. And beyond that, Nathan KNOWS weddings - their inner workings, the timing, the order of operations, what looks good, what will not translate well to photos, even when to put your dress on and how to keep a flower secured in your hair. As a bride and groom, you couldn't possibly anticipate all these things (and why would you? You don't do this very often!). But Nathan does, and it is so helpful and makes him a truly special addition to your big day. Ultimately, it's his stellar and out-of-this world photography that truly differentiates him from the rest. You couldn't possibly choose someone better!

  Nathan is a true artist. He was amazing for our wedding in August 2017. He made sure everything was taken care of and even helped with the timeline of events. He made everything so smooth for my husband and I. His work is gorgeous and every photo turned out beautiful. He really works so hard to capture every moment for the couple.   Nathan is a wonderful photographer, I could not have asked for a more professional or good natured person to capture the most important day of my life! He went out of his way to travel to a wedding location he had not photographed before and the pictures turned out way above what I expected.

A photographer with a plethora of experience who can charm a stubborn kid to laugh loudly or have a person pose for the most flattering pictures. He took the time to get the right angle or lighting to take the perfect pictures. Nathan is extremely personable and caring, making any time spent with him a pleasant experience. You will not regret hiring Nathan!

  We had the absolute best time shooting with Nathan! He was so open minded to us dragging him out in the middle of the lake on a boat... He was very helpful teaching us aobut posing and things to that nature since neither of us had ever done those kind of pictures before. Not going to lie, my husband was not thrilled at the idea of having pictures made but we both agreed 100% that he made it a very comfortable experience and the pictures turned out fantastic and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Unfortunately the website will not let me upload my pics, it just keeps freezing.

  Photography is a passion my husband and myself share. So finding a wedding photographer who was artistic, professional and easy to work with was a top priority to us. Nathan encompasses all those values and many more. We were more than pleased with his work, and everyone loved him! It was a pleasure working with him!

When my husband and I were looking for wedding photographers, the sheer artistry of Nathan's work caught our eye -- he has an eye for composition, resulting in photos that were leagues above the other options we looked at. His prices are extremely reasonable for the work that he does. And if all that isn't enough, he's a genuinely wonderful human being. He took the time to get to know us before the wedding and was the one who ended up making sure my husband and I both took the time to sit down and eat during our reception. We have several gorgeous wedding prints hanging in our home (planning to order even more), and I am so, SO glad that we took the time to find a top-notch photographer to capture those moments.

  When we found and fell in love with our venue, we knew we were in for some hard work- our venue was 6 hours away and we had no idea how to figure out the rest of our vendors. Nor did we have the time to come back and meet them all. Luckily our venue recommended many of them to us. After looking at Nathan's website we decided we liked his style and it fit us most. So we booked him without ever meeting him. A month later we met him at our venue for an engagement shoot and immediately it felt like we were old friends. Nathan has a very laid back presence that fit our personalities perfect. He let us be us, and we were able to have a blast! Fast forward to our wedding. Nathan was timely (while the rest of us were not!) and super patient. On top of that he's definitely a calming presence in what can only be described as a whirlwind of a day. Not once did we feel rushed or pushed or anything else but relaxed that he was getting all the best shots. He even checked the time for sunset and pulled us out for some shots as dusk fell, which are gorgeous by the way! Since the wedding he's been in contact constantly to keep us updated on when our pictures would be ready, and has always responded to emails/texts/communication in a very timely manner, which when you are planning a wedding and have an idea/question it is super important because you need to know right then! We are actually seriously considering returning to our venue for a 1 year anniversary shoot (and 2, 3, 4, etc...) or a pregnancy shoot, and there is no doubt in my mind that we will use anyone BUT Nathan.

  Nathan Baerreis was incredibly professional in every aspect. Punctual, kind, forthcoming, understanding, obviously well-trained at his craft. I particularly liked how he treated the bridal party and family during more "staged" photos, which could have been a chaotic time...confident and efficient without being bossy or overbearing. And the photos that I have seen this far of the event are beautiful-a true visual documentary of my wedding. I would recommend Nathan wholeheartedly for any photographic work.

  Nathan was so awesome to work with! He photographed an engagement session as well as our wedding day, and we have received tons of compliments on the photos! Nathan really captures the mood of the day in his photos, and he is definitely not an "in your face" photographer. His photos are all very natural and do not have a posed feeling. He will, however, direct you on how to place an arm, hand, etc so that the photo comes out well, and you will not look awkward! - We can't wait to use Nathan down the road for other life events. I would absolutely recommend him to others!

  I didn't know anything about Nathan or his work when we picked him to do our wedding and engagement pictures, but he was most definitely the best choice!! He was so easy to work with and is so creative with his shots. You can tell he loves what he does. All of our pictures are gorgeous so far and I cannot wait to see the rest.
