My reception at Nauvoo Grill was absolutely perfect! Sophia is amazing and I never had to worry about a single thing. Then entire event staff made our day special. The food is good, the bar is good, everything was great! All my guests told me how much they loved the food and how good of a time they had.

Everything We Dreamed Of and More
I don't know where to begin. Nauvoo went above and beyond my expectations to create the perfect wedding for my husband and I. The service was amazing. The wait staff was attentive and quick and happy. The chef made our boardwalk theme cocktail hour so fun and delicious, with also making a room full of just charcuterie for us, which we thought was the coolest experience to have at a wedding. The event planner Sophia did everything we ask and added amazing extras that we didn't even think of. She made all of our thoughts come to life and was so enthusiastic and on top of everything every inch of the way. We are so grateful to have had our wedding at Nauvoo. The atmosphere was beautiful for our fall wedding date as well. I can't wait to plan another event at Nauvoo.

An amazing experience at the Nauvoo Grill for our client appreciation dinner with 65+ guests in their beautiful upstairs dining space. It was a white glove, first class experience from the wonderful event coordinator Sophia, the talented chefs, servers, valets and bartenders. Fantastic menu, caring staff and a warm easy-going atmosphere made us feel like we were in someone’s home. No rush and the flexible nature made the bride feel so special, knowing the day was hers completely. We had a great day weather wise and the window lined room allowed for such a cheery, bright mood. Sophia was excellent to work with and kept in touch with me throughout the process.
Food and service were beyond expectations. I received a number of compliments from the invitees.
This was probably one of a half dozen special occasions I’ve enjoyed having at The Nauvoo and Sophia and her employees are second to none.

This was our 3rd family event here. Our most recent was a bridal shower. The food was excellent. Not one bad dish. Sophia is awesome ! She made the day absolutely beautiful for my sister. Perfect wedding at Nauvoo
We had a smaller (65 guests) wedding and wanted a space that was warm and cozy for our guests. Nauvoo Grill Club delivered exactly what we wanted. It is an intimate setting with fireplaces and wood paneling, and they let you fully customize your wedding. Sophia made the planning experience absolutely stress free. She was always available for a phone call or an in person meeting, and helped us plan the perfect day. There is no pressure to go above your budget at Nauvoo and while there are "packages" they are merely guidelines for helping you choose your options.

Nauvoo Grill was an incredible venue for my 100+ guest event. Sophia is very knowledgeable and skilled, and made planning & throwing my party so enjoyable. She worked seamlessly with my event planner to ensure every detail was perfect. Sophia is such a talented events coordinator, and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her.
The venue itself is beautiful, and the food was delicious. My guests raved about the food, and the drinks were great as well. Nauvoo went above and beyond for me in so many ways, and I cannot recommend them enough.

AMAZING venue for any event!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Sophia and the Nauvoo Grill Club. My husband and I had our Rehearsal Dinner here in December, and I can confidently say if you are looking for a place to have ANY event, look no further! Not only is the room upstairs so perfect, but Sophia and her team were top notch. Sophia responded before I could even get a chance to look away from my email, and was always the sweetest, most helpful and SO accommodating. The room upstairs for our December event was truly perfect. It was so warm, cozy, and decorated beautifully. The space is so large and is a perfect spot to host any event. On the day of, Sophia and her team were waiting for our arrival and helped us bring everything out of our cars to the room upstairs. She was so sweet and helped set everything up, and made sure me and my husband and guests were good the entire night. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was awesome. I truly cannot say enough amazing things! Our friends and family could not stop raving about the place.

Dreamy, cozy, intimate venue!
We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at Nauvoo Grill Club. The service, attention to detail, and atmosphere was impeccable. Our wedding was in late December, so we were surrounded by beautiful holiday decor - from poinsettias to Christmas trees. The rustic feel with the leather couches and fireplaces was a nice touch. The guests kept raving about the amazing food, large portions, and what a good time they had out on the dance floor. Many have told me that they want to come back to eat dinner. Sophia really helped us bring our dream wedding to fruition. I definitely recommend this super cozy, intimate venue for your wedding! We had the best night of our lives.

I hosted my husband's 30th "Great Gatsby" themed birthday there last month and it was absolutely amazing! We are so grateful to Nauvoo Grill Club and Sophia for making our anniversary party the best day of our lives! Sophia's assistance with planning, organizing and executing everything was amazing. She was super responsive to every question we had and seemed so genuinely happy to help. As a bit of a perfectionist, I was so pleased to see how her and her staff executed our decorations. Not one thing was out of place! Our guests raved about the beautiful space which was great for our fall theme. And everyone absolutely LOVED the food. It's not often you hear that at an event of our size (116 people) but many people told us how delicious everything was! If I could change anything, we just needed a bigger dance floor because everyone was up and grooving haha!

Returning Customer - Highest Form of Compliment!
After a wonderful experience for my daughter's wedding last year, we celebrated her delayed bridal shower this year! Once again, Sophia and her team combined their skills to make our event successful! The venue is beautiful on its own, but our friends at Nauvoo helped us enhance our day with our balloon arch, flowers, Welcome Sign, gold confetti and photo displays. I particularly loved the personalized menus that matched our invitations/theme. As always the food was absolutely delicious, the service professional and friendly. Amazing Venue for a Ceremony and Reception
This was the first venue we saw and we fell in love immediately. The upstairs NorthStar room is filled with natural light and light wood. We loved the open concept and the versatility of the space. We had our ceremony downstairs next to the natural stone fireplace. The staff was amazing as well, Sophia, Katlyn and Janice helped us all along the way making sure we had all the details in place and setting up our vision. The food was fresh and delicious and our guests loved the attention to detail and creative dishes, which accommodated our veg/vegan guests.
We would definitely rebook this venue for an life events we may have in the future.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my Daughter’s Wedding Shower!
To begin myself and my daughters friend went to check it out! Sophia the Banquet Manager was Kind, Very Helpful, Patient and explained all the Details we needed. We couldn’t imagine how accommodating , helpful and Professional all the Workers would be!

Excellent venue for a bridal shower
Nauvoo was a fantastic choice for a brunch buffet bridal shower. The food was excellent! Service was wonderful. Working with Sophia was a pleasure; she was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and was extremely reliable day-of. The space was beautiful and spacious, and we were able to hang and decorate without any issues! The bride to be loved everything. We will use Nauvoo as a venue for future events!!

Best venue for a celebration!
I have had 2 celebrations at Nauvoo Grill and both were amazing. Sophia, the event coordinator was great in helping make decisions and giving suggestions. You can decorate the rooms if you want where many other places will nor allow it. Sophia and her staff even helped us put up the decor before the events! The menu gives plenty to choose from and the food is very good. I would highly recommend Nauvoo Grill for anyone needing a great place to celebrate!

Sports Banquet
For two years we have had our High School Hockey Banquet at Nauvoo. They make it extremely easy and we are able to just show up and enjoy!

Guests are still raving about our party!
Sophia and her team at Nauvoo Grill were amazing! They helped us have a beautiful Baptism celebration during the pandemic where everyone felt safe and had a fabulous time! The food, responsiveness, creative ideas and the decor set up was stellar! I would definitely recommend having a party here!

Wonderful Wedding

Amazing, fun, beautiful, good food, great staff
Our wedding was 6/5/21 and it was the best day thanks to the best location, Sophia, and her attentive staff! The food was great, everyone kept giving compliments all night. The staff were nice and made the night run smoothly. Nauvoo has a beautiful, rustic feel. The price was reasonable for a wedding. From the beginning Sophia was great to work with, with being responsive, easy going, and having creative ideas to make our wedding day special! I would recommend Nauvoo for any event!

Absolutely perfect!
I was NOT the typical bride. I wanted a backyard wedding, a casual atmosphere, and 50 people tops. However...real life intervened. I quickly realized that with the size of our families and certain expectations I needed to find a venue that could combine what I always dreamed of and what practically made sense. When I first walked into The North Star room with Kaitlyn I looked at my mom and said "we can't afford this". Kaitlyn discussed every package with us in detail, and saw how my eyes lit up at the price points. It was BEYOND reasonable. We had around 80 people, and the venue felt spacious, yet still cozy. The food was AMAZING, people contacted me for days afterward to talk about how delicious things were from the crab cakes to the filet mignon carving station. They listened to every little detail and made the decorations I brought even more beautiful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and I still can't get over how attentive everyone was. You can tell that Sophia and Kaitlyn really love what they do! The dance floor was plenty big enough, and adding lights to the surrounding columns gave the room an almost fairy tale-like atmosphere. It was casual, yet still felt very much like a wedding. I can't say enough good things about my wedding day, it was perfect! Thank you to the entire staff at Nauvoo for being some of the best in the business!

Absolutely fabulous brunch wedding!
The best decision we ever made was to have our wedding at Nauvoo Grill Club! The service we received was second to none and the attention to detail was right on point. Our Consultants Sophia and Kaitlin made our experience easy and stress free. They were honest, upfront and always made us feel like we were special and well looked after. No request was too small or too large to make happen. The planning was meticulous and they had insightful suggestions to make our event flow smoothly. The day of our event was seamless. The staff at Nauvoo attended to all of our guests needs and there was never a time when we saw an empty glass or a dirty plate. To this day all of our family and friends still talk about our special day. They loved the venue, the food and the drinks. If we could do this all over again we would definitely go back to Nauvoo Grill Club! We are beyond pleased and grateful for all they did to make our day magical!

A Hidden Treasure
Our daughter's wedding at Nauvoo was perfect ! From our first visit to the venue, throughout the entire planning process, and up to the actual wedding day the staff was responsive, professional, and accommodating. An amazing night
Simply perfect. We looked around at other places and when we looked at Nauvoo we just knew it was the place. Caitlin and Sophia are so unbelievably sweet and I can’t thank them enough for making so special. Such a huge help from them both! They made is stress free for us with the whole planning of that day/night. The food was phenomenal and so was the service! That made sure EVERYONE was taken care of. We all had such a great night! Without a doubt I will have another event there in the future!

Perfect venue for a Bridal shower
Kaitlin and Sophia surpassed my expectations for my bridal shower at Nauvoo. They were flexible with dates and times for my shower as well as menu options and decor for our event. The menu included bottomless mimosas and bellinis which were all of the guest’s favorite. The brunch options were all fresh and delicious too. The room options are all bright and airy with wood accents and big stone fireplaces, it was a perfect backdrop for a shower. Guests raved about the food, service and ambiance of the day. Thank you Kaitlin and Sophia! Highly recommend for any bridal or baby shower event!!

Where should we begin?!? Sophia is amazing! She cares about your vision, always has a quick and helpful response to your crazy questions as a bride, and on the day of the wedding is right by your side. Her and the team at Nauvoo were always extremely attentive and provided exceptional service throughout our time planning the wedding and on the day of. Let's talk about the food.... UNREAL! So delicious and we are still hearing about the Filet Mignon, Lobster Ravioli's, and hors d'oeuvres - four months later. In addition, Nauvoo has a second kitchen upstairs for the reception.. so your guests are not competing with the restaurant downstairs. When it comes to outside vendors, Sophia has a list that she recommends personally! All of these vendors have worked with Nauvoo before and the process is so smooth.. and if we chose a vendor that Sophia or Nauvoo has not worked with, they are not afraid to reach out to these vendors to ensure a problem-free process. What more can we say?? We want to do it all over again!!! We could not have been more pleased with Nauvoo and give them 5 STARS for everything! Looking forward to visiting them in the future - whether that be for a delicious dinner or another amazing party!

Last month, we had our wedding at Nauvoo Grill Club/Raven & the Peach. We just cannot say enough nice things about both restaurants. We had our ceremony by the fireplace at Nauvoo which made it feel very cozy and intimate. The reception was at Raven & the Peach which has a totally different ambiance, but is also a beautiful space. The food was incredible. My husband and I did a tasting a month before the wedding with our parents. We were super impressed, but figured that when doing an event for 125 people they would not be able to meet the same quality, taste, and presentation. We were so wrong! Everything was delicious from the cocktail hour to the entrees. All of our guests agreed that they had never had such delicious and perfectly cooked food at a wedding. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. A special shout out to Sophia and her team for helping us from the moment we toured the venue for the first time to the end of the event when they packed up all of our belongings. They answered all of our questions promptly throughout the planning process and helped us to make the day exactly what we wanted. A wedding day can be very stressful, but they made the day feel easy and smooth and really allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves! We would highly recommend both restaurants for anything from a meal to a wedding! A perfect experience all around!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Nauvoo Grill Club and so glad that we did! The room was beautiful! They had the fireplace lit and our one long table was placed in front of it! It was beautiful! The food was fantastic! Everyone had a great time! The service was impeccable!! The planning process was so smooth, they were so helpful and accommodating!!! We had my future daughter-in-laws shower at Nauvoo yesterday. I can't say enough about how happy we were with everything. We used the Fireside room downstairs and it was absolutely beautiful!!! The guests could not stop raving about how pretty it was. It was a grey day, but the windows all around, the fireplace, the pretty lights on the tree outside made it a place that we were all happy to spend the afternoon. The food was delicious - everyone loved what they had. Last but not least they were all a pleasure to deal with. The service was pleasant and terrific! It was a day that none of us will forget and we are thrilled that we made such a good choice on picking a venue.

Two words; SOPHIA STRATIS. I cannot tell you how amazing and pleasant she is/was to work with. I am forever grateful to her for answering 3 am emails, and making our day PERFECT. We chose Nauvoo because we did not want a typical wedding hall, it's just not our style. Our December wedding was perfect, and the ambiance of the Christmas trees, and lights was so romantic. Sophia helped us with every detail, and assured me when I was stressed, not to worry as that was her job. Let me start off by saying, people are still texting me that we had the best wedding food they had ever had. The team of servers was absolutely amazing, and I can say unlike most brides I know, I was able to eat everything served at my wedding. This is a perfect venue if you are looking for something off the beaten path, that's affordable and has a dream team of a staff!

We had my son and future Daughter-in-laws engagement party at Nauvoo and it was perfection. The only thing missing was the Rabbi to perform the ceremony. This is my 3rd event at Nauvoo ( my daughter's bridal shower in Nov. 2011 and my Bat Mitzvah celebration in Nov. 2013) and we keep returning.
Sophia Statis is an absolute gem - she is easy to work with, very organized and has great ideas and suggestions. She goes the extra mile each time I have had the pleasure to work with her. She attends to every detail - nothing is left to chance. The staff she selects to run my parties are fantastic - I have had the same staff work on my events so it feels like home.
The engagement party was a blast. Our guests are still raving about the food - we had a capacity crowd and there was plenty for everyone. They were able to accommodate our DJ - and the room was set up to allow for the most space available to dance and hang out. Neither the mother of the bride or I had to worry about any details - Sophia was there to make sure everything was perfect and it was. I can not say enough - but I can't wait to have another event there.
We have referred friends there for their events and each one has been so pleased. It is my pleasure to recommend Nauvoo and especially Sophia to anyone of our friends that ask for a recommendation.
We are frequent diners at Nauvoo - we even celebrated New Year's eve there with friends and the service was impeccable.
I can not say enough but thank you for making all of our events perfect and special in every way.

We had our ceremony and wedding reception on 12/14/13 at Nauvoo Grill Club and I can not say enough fantastic things about the people, food, or venue; the venue was perfect for our Christmas winter wonderland! The staff went above and beyond for all our needs and were extremely flexible to work with, especially when we had a snow storm the day of the wedding. Sophia was exceptional as our event coordinator and always responded fast to emails; the staff set everything up the day of the wedding to perfection and it took a lot of stress off of myself. The food was amazing and we often go back for dinner, and of course they always remember us! Highly recommend!

We had our wedding on 10/12/13 at Nauvoo Grill Club and our guests are still talking about today, over a year later saying it was one of the best weddings they went to. People could not get over how amazing the food and service was! Nauvoo is such a beautiful place and we are so happy we had our reception there. The staff is amazing, so flexible and friendly. Sophia Statis made our experience there stress free and fun. We were very fortunate to book Nauvoo before Hurricane Sandy and we have no regrets. If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely have it there! We wish we could relive our wedding reception because the food was amazing. Thank you Nauvoo for making the most important day of our lives so memorable and special!!

I was so fortunate to find Nauvoo Grill Club. I planned my wedding from 3,000 miles away and Sophia was always there by email or phone when I had a question. I think we emailed back and forth over 100 times during a year and a half. Nauvoo has a very unique look and it was perfect for my White Christmas wedding. Many guests remarked on the architecture of the venue.
The food was amazing. I know many people wonder if the food is going to be as good as it was for the tasting, and this far surpassed my expectations. I had guests who have dined all over the world and they were amazed at the food. Everyone went home stuffed! This isn't your average wedding food. The food is incredible.
Sophia and her staff worked incredibly hard for us and we couldn't be happier. Everyone was smiling and congratulatory and very kind. I really felt like they wanted to make our day special and they succeeded!
I highly recommend Nauvoo Grill Club as a fantastic wedding venue.

I can not say enough about the quality of Nauvoo Grill Club and the services they provided for us on our wedding. Sophia, the event coordinator is amazing!!! She was so helpful and responded quickly to our every want and need throughout the whole planning process and big day! She has a perfect attention to details and made everything run seamlessly. The food was delicious! The staff are professional and attentive. I highly recommend Nauvoo!!!

Having our wedding at Nauvoo was he best possible choice we could have made. Everything from the early preparation to the tasting and through the wedding was simply perfect. The value for what we received by way of treatment and service was beyond anything we expected we could get in the area.
It is an absolutely beautiful venue, with fantastic food and drinks, and phenomenal service. Couldn't have planned a better day in a better place.

I had my ceremony and reception at Nauvoo and I have to say they did an amazing job! All our guests raved about the food and the selection of entrees they were able to pick from! From the event coordinator to the servers I couldn't have asked for better service!

The high quality of the food is still a topic of conversation among family and friends. Exceptional Proposal Party
We truly appreciate Nauvoo Grill Club for the excellent Coordinator Sophia, chefs, all the servers, all the Bartenders, they all gave exceptional service. Everyone had a great time. The Decorations, Food and drinks were Wonderful. We highly recommend them and will definitely use their venue again. Thank you all so much for a fantastic event.

Excellent Dinner Event
Hi, We booked a last minute Post High School Sport Season Dinner event. The service we received from Sophia and the banquet team was excellent. They rolled with our last minute decision making, etc. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Everyone enjoyed the night.

Favorite Venue
I looked into 25-40 places before deciding on Nauvoo. Out of everyone, they were actually willing to be flexible and accommodating our party's needs. So many other places would never get back to you, or would charge for minimum head counts whether you met their demands or not.
All the guests said they loved the venue, and the food was excellent. It so great working with them as opposed to all the other's who seemed like they were looking for reasons to not make it work for you. Would definitely recommend, especially for smaller gatherings.

Wonderful Baby Shower
We had my daughters baby shower in the downstairs room which as perfect . The staff at Nauvoo was great and the food was delicious. They helped me to transform into a beautiful country style shower. Sophia the event coordinator was great to work with.

We held our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah celebration in the North Star room upstairs.
It was the perfect venue for a winter affair - the roaring fireplace and twinkle lights provided such an elegant and cozy atmosphere.
The food was delicious and I really appreciated the flexibility in planning out the menu. We ended up doing two buffets —one for adults and one for teens, and everyone was happy.
I felt the pricing for the event was very reasonable, and they were happy to work with us to trim costs where we could.

We actually had a wonderful time planning our wedding and found Sophia Stratis, the banquet manager, to be extremely accommodating, flexible and upbeat, and she remembered all of the many details we had on our list. The tasting was generous and delicious and the food on our wedding day was enjoyed by all from appetizers to carrot cake! (That cake is the BEST!) The venue itself is just beautiful -- cozy, spacious, warm -- and on our sunny day the light and windows in the downstairs room made us all feel we were outside for the ceremony. Many people who had not been to Nauvoo said it was a "gem" of a place and perfect for a wedding (we agree!). The staff was responsive and professional and any time we needed anything it was handled immediately. Truly, we felt incredibly fortunate that we picked Nauvoo -- the entire event there was fabulous!

Setting up the event was great and Sophia was very helpful, but it seems that as soon as they receive final payment professionalism is out the window. Showing the venue area to potential clients during the event time I paid for is unacceptable and then rushing me the last half hour of my time because you have another event after, RUDE!
Overall, everyone was pleased with the event.
