Working with Nancy for our May wedding at The Equinox Resort was an absolute dream!
Nancy is so easy to work with and was able to be flexible throughout our planning process as weather lead to some location changes. Her knowledge of flowers and the venue itself made choosing everything from bridesmaid bouquets to cocktail table arrangements incredibly easy.
Everything looked stunning and was exactly what we had envisioned for our day! We love Nancy and her team, they are truly the best! -

My partner and I wanted to express our sincerest gratitude for Nancy's exceptional work on our wedding. We had envisioned a black-tie wedding with minimal florals, letting the natural greenery of Vermont shine, and a gala atmosphere complete with tall centerpieces and scattered trees to ground the space.
From our initial conversations, it was clear that Nancy not only shared in our excitement for this vision but truly cared deeply about bringing it to life. Nancy did it flawlessly. I cannot say enough amazing things about Nancy! She did the flowers for my wedding on October 4th, and everything was absolutely breathtaking. From the bouquets to the floral arrangements to the gorgeous pergola corner piece—every detail was perfect and more beautiful than I could have imagined.
Her prices were incredibly reasonable, and she even squeezed me in last minute despite having *three other weddings* that same day. That alone shows her dedication and how hard she works for her clients.
I’ve known Nancy for years, and she has always been talented, but she truly went above and beyond for my wedding. She is by far the best florist around, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

She was able to take our small vague pinterest board and create the wedding of my dreams and beyond. She is incredibly professional, but also so very caring and kind. With so many weddings happening in the Fall she made me feel like the only bride she was working with and remembered every detail about not only my wedding, but everything else going on in my life. Best vendor we booked, hands down
Run, do not walk, to book Nancy for your wedding florals. She is INCREDIBLE. She was not only my favorite vendor from the whole wedding process, but an integral cornerstone of my wedding experience. She took an incredible amount of care to listen to my vision, what I wanted and needed, and collaborated with me in such harmony to make my dreams a reality. She is so warm and brings so much excitement and passion to each wedding, treating you as your own person rather than just another job. But she's also just insanely talented - I did an all-greenery wedding, which is nonconventional, but she knocked it out of the park, which is a testament to her creativity and talent. One of my favorite things about her was that she was able to tell me when my ideas didn't make sense, but at the end of each call would still ask me if she had talked me out of any ideas I loved because "weddings are about saying yes". When I told her that my grandmother wasn't able to attend for health reasons, she figured out how to ship a corsage all the way to California in time for my grandma to wear it on my wedding day. On the day, it absolutely poured rain, and she got soaked moving all the decor to a different location for the ceremony at the last second. She profoundly shaped my experience, and became a trusted advisor, source of stability and light, and a friend. I asked her to hold the train of my dress on the way into my ceremony. Nancy is something really really special, and I wish everyone could have a Nancy for their wedding! -

Working with Haley from the Nancy Bishop Floral Design Studio for our wedding at the West Mountain Inn in Arlington, Vermont was a total dream.
From start to finish - Haley worked with us as we worked through our early-Autumn color pallet, picked incredible seasonal blooms to bring our wedding to life (particularly the dahlias which were breathtaking), and really helped in threading special touches of sentimentality throughout our wedding (from the amber votive candles to the red ribbons tied around the bridesmaids' bouquets.
Haley is an absolute professional - kind, funny, thoughtful, and extremely responsive. The wedding day went off without a hitch and we were blown away by the floral beauty we were surrounded by - all thanks to Haley. We could not recommend her more highly.

My husband and I got married at the Wilburton Inn in Manchester. Nancy couldn't have been more wonderful to work with from start to finish. I booked her 11 months before my wedding and we had an introductory phone call that immediately put me at ease- I had no idea what I wanted yet! Once we got closer to the date, Nancy worked so thoughtfully about every floral aspect of the wedding- even parts I hadn't considered that she recommended. We rented other things from Nancy for the wedding day, such as a welcome board, table number holders, chargers for the tables, an easel for the seating list, etc. I also didn't have a massive flower budget- Nancy worked with me, meeting my budget exactly. On my wedding day, I was astounded at how beautiful Nancy's work turned out. She created exactly what I described and hoped for, and it was even better than I had imagined. She has impeccable taste and her arrangements, for both the ceremony and reception were breathtaking. I could not have asked for a more talented florist or a better person to provide the flowers for our wedding. -

Where do I even begin? Nancy was booked up with weddings that weekend, so I worked closely with her assistant Haley on all of the details. From our first phone call to all of the emailing back-and-forth, she was the utmost professional and understood my vision completely. She also worked within my budget and made adjustments as necessary. The value of what I got far exceeded what I paid in the end. The flowers were delivered the morning of the wedding, and when I walked into the venue I noticed my sister had been crying. She said it was because she saw how beautiful the flowers were. I looked around and started crying myself! They were more stunning than I could have imagined. My guests would not stop raving about them, and everyone wanted to take a centerpiece home. Several have even dried them to keep in their house as permanent decor, including myself! I can’t recommend them enough. Everything was perfection. -

Nancy is a talented florist and simply a delight to work with. When I was first deciding whether or not to get married in Vermont (since it would be a destination wedding for myself and all of our guests), I reached out to Nancy for a quote. She got back to me within 24 hours with a detailed price breakdown, and a comprehensive summary of what her services would entail. Fast-forward 2 years, we met with her at her studio when we were in town for a tasting at our venue and she spent something like 4 hours with us, discussing every little detail of our wedding, who we are as a couple and what our vision was for the day to make sure she had the clearest possible sense of what we wanted. We even called Nancy our unofficial wedding planner, because she gave us so many great recommendations of other Vermont vendors to work with who we ended up hiring (and were so happy to have done so). The flowers themselves day of were gorgeous. If you’re getting married in Vermont, hire Nancy, you won’t regret it. -

Décor to die for!
We were so fortunate to have a personal recommendation that led us to Nancy Bishop Floral Design. Nancy is a true artist in her work, but in our eyes what sets her apart is the care she takes in creating decor that truly brings to life the vision of her client. Art is, after all, a deeply personal experience, and Nancy was simply perfect at internalizing our vision and turning it into reality. She listened patiently and carefully as we rambled on about our tastes and style, our likes and dislikes, and the feel and ambience we envisioned for our reception.
Planning a wedding during a pandemic is a bit of a chaotic affair, and so we more or less handed over the reigns to Nancy when it came to the final decisions about what to decorate with and where to put it. We essentially told her, "you know the feeling we want, do whatever you want with it!" and she knocked it out of the ballpark! We both understand the value of a professional's experience, and Nancy is as professional as it gets. We wouldn't have changed a thing about the decor for our wedding day and we'd recommend Nancy to anyone without reservation. -

Best Florist Ever!
I am so happy that I booked Nancy as my wedding florist for our wedding this past summer at the West Mountain Inn in Arlington, VT! Nancy is an amazing floral designer and a wonderful person. She was such a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. Nancy made my vision came to life and was super flexible with any changes or additions up until our wedding day. The florals throughout our entire wedding weekend were absolutely gorgeous! Nancy designed the florals for our rehearsal dinner, church ceremony, and reception at three separate locations. She also helped us with overall design for the wedding beyond just florals, and executed everything perfectly. My bridal bouquet was everything I dreamed of and more! Out of this world florals!
When our wedding venue, photographer and makeup artist all recommended Nancy Bishop, we knew we'd found the right florist. My husband and I worked with Haley, and she is truly incredible! We showed her a few vague photos of what we were thinking, along with the color scheme of my bridesmaids dresses and an (also vague) description of: "wild, asymmetrical, fall colors." That was it. What Haley created was truly out of this world beautiful - the most stunning arrangements I've ever seen. She was respectful of our budget and created the most incredible ambience for our wedding - from the personal flowers to the chuppah arrangement, the table settings and the greenery around the barn roof chandelier. We received COUNTLESS compliments! You will not regret working with Nancy and Haley, two of the kindest people ever - they are masters at their craft! -

Absolutely amazing in every way!
Nancy was a delight to work with right from the start. She spent time speaking with me to get a true sense of our vision and made some awesome suggestions along the way. Her ideas were amazing and always welcomed. She coordinated all the floral and other decorations for multiple events we had during a weekend long celebration. She worked so well coordinating everything with the venue and the cake baker, it was seamless from my point of view. Nancy even reached out to, and met with our kilt maker for fabric swatches to ensure every detail was considered. I was so confident in Nancy and her artistic talent and she made me feel at ease with the entire process. Nancy is one of the most wonderful, kind, talented, and amazing people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. We had seen photos of her work and knew immediately that we would want her to do the flowers for our wedding. I loved what she did so much that I would have moved the wedding date if she had not been available! That’s how incredible her work is. Before getting engaged I really had no opinions on what I wanted my future wedding to look like, but the one thing I did know was that the flowers had to be beautiful and memorable. I love flowers. Most of the things I own: clothing, artwork, mugs and dishes (yes please feel empathetic for my husband here) are covered in flowers. Nancy and her team made all of my flower dreams come true and then some! She has such an exquisite natural sense of beautiful taste, and all of her suggestions worked perfectly with the end result. I was completely confident that even if some disaster happened last minute and none of the flowers that I had wanted came in (luckily this didn’t happen!), that Nancy would use her magic and everything would look stunning. She left no detail undiscussed, but she was also very patient and didn’t overwhelm me with decisions. I can’t tell you how many compliments I have received on how amazing our flowers looked for the wedding. Not to be forgotten, with all of these works of art in flowers that she creates, she is astoundingly reasonably priced and offers great ideas with how to make your vision work for your budget. Nancy Bishop is a gem and the absolute best wedding florist I could’ve ever dreamed up. From our first meeting with her, my husband and I felt like she understood who we are and the vision we were trying to achieve. After sending her a few ideas, she knew exactly what we wanted, made helpful suggestions, and nailed it flawlessly within the budget we’d set.
One thing that really sets Nancy apart is how thoughtful she is. Since I’m not local, Nancy went out and bought fabric that she suggested would look beautiful on my ceremony arbor, and wow, was it gorgeous, like everything she did! She and her staff added details wherever they felt was necessary to complete the decor, including putting rosemary on our guests’ dinner napkins—a detail that many complimented and blew me away. It was all so perfect. I am forever grateful for everything that Nancy and her team did to make our day so beautiful. -

Nancy did an incredible job with our flowers and her service was so personalized to us that everything turned out even better than we envisioned! All you need to know is I literally sent her 4 different bouquets and told her to combine them into one, and she somehow executed on that crazinesss with ease which led to me having the most perfect bouquet I wish I could keep forever. We were blown away with how Nancy was able to transform the barn at our venue into a whimsical fairytale garden.... greenery was hung from the ceiling and from an iron chandelier, the centerpieces were a Pinterest dream, and the bridesmaids flowers could not have been more perfect. Absolutely amazing work. They took ideas I had and brought them to life. Extremely accommodating and affordable. They were able to use centerpieces that I had purchased and bring them to life. Months before the wedding, I described my wedding vision and Nancy did everything possible to make that vision come to life. She is so passionate about her work and she truly cares about her clients. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the table arrangements and the bouquets were! I was simply stunned at how beautiful everything looked and Nancy is to thank for that!
Nancy not only does an amazing job, but she has a heart of gold and is one of the sweetest, most genuine and hardworking vendors I have ever worked with. She was SO easy to work with, great with communication and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend Nancy (and her team) 100 times over. If you are getting married in the Vermont area, you need to work with Nancy - it will hands down be one the best decisions you make! -

Floral perfection
Nancy did the flowers for our elopement, and we had a few additional requests that she nailed. She combined different photos of bouquets into one to make a unique, gorgeous bridal bouquet. Then we needed some floral garland for dogs and she made such beautiful ones that my guests wished they were fake so they wouldn't die! When I asked at the last minute a some arrangements for our altar and and flowers for the cake, she came through and never seemed like I was high maintenance bride! We can't thank Nancy enough. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. -

Her team is amazing and can totally make your vision come to life. I was a NYC bride planning a Vermont wedding and Nancy was there every step of the way. She'd respond to my emails in the middle of the night as we went back and forth on what I wanted. Hayley is amazing also and was on site the day of my wedding to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend working with Nancy since she is an amazing florist and an even more amazing person. Thank you for everything!

Meredith Sent on 12/08/2017We found Nancy through the Inn at Manchester where we held our wedding. She came very highly recommended and absolutely lived up to every expectation. We met with Nancy two times before the wedding. The first time was early on to get a feel for her work and make sure she was the right florist for us. From the start she completely got the vibe we were going for and we loved even her sample bouquets. We had many communications over the next year ironing out all the details. Nancy also helped us pull together our vision for the space including the right dishes, tablecloths, and more. Nancy was easy to work with and genuinely cared about making our wedding special. On the day of everything was absolutely stunning. We loved Nancy's work and all the detail and care she put into making the space look perfect. I cannot recommend her or her work highly enough! -

Their unique designs are unlike anything you have ever seen, taking from what's in season and even sometimes what's growing in their backyard! Both Nancy and Tria are very creative people and are able to suggest centerpiece and bouquet ideas that are out of this world! Nancy was one of my favorite vendors to work with. She is a joy and her work beyond exceeded my expectations. I met with her several months before our wedding and she picked up on every small detail -- things I had even forgotten that I wanted it. In that first meeting she completely understood the entire vision. The florals for the wedding day were beyond what I could have ever imagined. Everything was so well suited to our wedding, and to us as couple. She had a huge part in orchestrating the overall design of our wedding. She gave fabulous vendor recommendations, and took any last minute changes or requests in stride, making everything that we ever wanted possible. Even when she was had a busy schedule and some personal conflicts come up, she made sure our day was absolutely perfect. I truly loved working with and getting to know her. I cannot recommend Nancy and her team enough! -
