Do yourself a favor and book Nadia's Beauty Spot! They did hair and makeup for our wedding and were a true pleasure to work with from start to finish. Not only were they extremely responsive and knowledgeable throughout the entire process but they did a great job at listening to what each person wanted and worked their magic to make everyone look and feel absolutely beautiful. I really cannot say enough great things about them and their work and will recommend them to everyone that I possibly can. Thank you Nadia and Kristy for making each and every one of our visions come to life! -

Not sure if I've ever felt more beautiful! I started working with Nadia almost two years BEFORE my wedding (we took our time planning) and every step of the way, she was patient, communicative, and just so fun to work with. I was floored after my trial. I really don't love wearing makeup, but Nadia's airbrushing technique made it so that I felt comfortable. We discussed some changes after the trial, and by the time my wedding day rolled around, absolute PERFECTION! Nadia, Alexis, and Melisa made all my best girls feel their best on wedding day. Everyone looked stunning. Hire Nadia and her team, that's all there is to it! -

Our crew of ladies has a range of different hair, skin, preferences and personal style. Each and every one of us came out looking and feeling so beautiful, so comfortable and so uniquely ourselves on our best day (not to mention all night long!).
Here's the thing every bride should consider. It's an intimate day - and you're inviting your glam team into that space. Julia and Bianca made such a lovely and wonderful addition to our experience. These two are cool, calm, collected, creative, collaborative and FUN. Would refer them to anyone - and yes, I already have.

June 2024 Bride here! Melisa, Krista & Julia (all hair and makeup stylist provided by Nadia) were amazing. They were all excited to be a part of our wedding day, each took time and effort to make sure each person got the look they desired. When all the makeup was complete they sent us with little bags of the make up they used on us so that all of our happy tears wouldn't ruin our look! I am so happy with my choice to use Nadia and her team. We couldn't have looked any more beautiful! -

I am so glad I booked Nadia for my wedding! I do not typically wear makeup, so I did lots of research on makeup artists in the area. She is just as kind and down to earth as all of the reviews say! My bridesmaids and I loved that she asked for inspiration photos beforehand, she made all of us look just like our photos! Melisa did an incredible job with all of our hair, as well! My bridesmaids and I cannot recommend them enough!! Thank you for making us all look and feel beautiful! -

I was so happy with how my makeup looked on my wedding day, thanks to Nadia! She did an amazing job. My 6 bridesmaids and mom/MIL were so happy with the way their makeup turned out. It can be nerve wracking, especially if you aren’t used to wearing a lot of makeup, but trust Nadia- she will make you look perfect. She was on time, had all of us done early, and added to the fun laidback vibe for our group! I ended up doing two trials with Nadia to try airbrush and regular makeup, and she made sure to listen to all my feedback and execute it perfectly so I still looked like myself, but flawless. Also- it was very humid and I was sweating the entire day- but my makeup didn’t budge! I couldn’t recommend Nadia enough! -

Winter Wedding!
I am beyond thrilled to write this review for Nadia's Beauty Spot. Nadia and her hairstylist, Alexis, provided exceptional makeup and hair services for my wedding, as well as for my bridal party and family. From start to finish, their professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor made the entire experience a joy.
Nadia and Alexis arrived at my parents' home fully prepared and ready to work their magic. Their attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-notch service was evident from the moment they set foot in the door. The convenience of having them come to our location made the day even more special and stress-free.
I had the opportunity to do a trial for my makeup at Nadia's salon, and I must say, her salon is absolutely lovely. The trial coincided with my bridal shower, and the compliments I received on my makeup were endless. Nadia truly understood my personal style and preferences. As someone who doesn't typically wear a lot of makeup, she provided helpful recommendations and worked with me to achieve a look that felt comfortable yet stunning.
In addition to the makeup, Nadia assisted me in choosing the perfect set of hair extensions, which was a first-time experience for me. Her attention to detail and willingness to find the right match, offering several recommendations, showcased her dedication to ensuring my satisfaction. I wish I lived in the area to have her take care of my lashes all the time!
I must also highlight Nadia's responsiveness throughout the entire planning process. Her prompt and helpful communication made me feel valued as a client. Additionally, her pricing was reasonable, considering the high level of expertise and professionalism she and her team brought to the table.
Overall, I cannot recommend Nadia's Beauty Spot highly enough. The exceptional service, combined with Nadia and Alexis's fun and professional demeanor, created a memorable and enjoyable experience for me and my entire bridal party. The best!
Nadia is phenomenal! Found her through a list of recommended vendors from our venue. When we first met for my wedding makeup trial, I wasn’t even sure what I wanted as I dont know much about makeup. Nadia took the initiative to get a feel for the vibe of our wedding by asking for photos of the bridal parties attire/decor/venue, and then SLAYED my makeup! She’s quick to respond, down to earth and super funny (have you checked out her instagram 😉). When I had a few last minute changes to the services needed, Nadia was super accommodating. Nadia was hired to do our makeup, but closer to the wedding I realized my hairstylist was not going have enough time to do one of my bridesmaids hair, and Nadia told me she would get it done! She is amazing at her craft and it’s obvious! 🫶Nadia, THANK YOU for everything! It was so much fun working with you and having you hang out in the bridal suite before our first look. Can’t wait to stop by your new location whenever I need my makeup done next!

I hired Nadia and her team for my November 2022 wedding and they all did a great job. Nadia was very responsive and helpful in figuring out what I wanted to go for makeup wise and was happy to make adjustments to make us all happy as we decided the looks we were going for. We had a lot of fun getting ready the morning of the wedding and the whole team she brought was easy going and easy to be with and communicate with. Nadia and her team did an unbelievable job! I had the pleasure of utilizing different members of her team throughout my wedding year for various events and each one went above and beyond every single time leaving me truly speechless.
Even with a last minute hair change wish on my part the morning of my wedding due to insanely high temps they were able to pull off the most beautiful updo that I received SO many compliments on.
Not only do they travel to you, but have a beautiful studio space as well I could not recommend Nadia and her team more, they made me feel like such a beautiful bride. I will absolutely be using them in the future! -

My husband and I got married on July 2nd this year (after postponing for a year) & Nadia and her team were simply the best! She was so flexible & accommodating with our date change, traveled to Water’s Edge and we’re miracle workers getting hair & makeup done for 13 ladies! It was also a special treat that Nadia did my lashes for months leading up to the wedding and they were perfect. I’m so grateful and would recommend Nadia and the girls whole heartedly. I loved my look and loved how it was captured in pics! -

Nadia was amazing
Nadia’s beauty spot was amazing to work with! I had Nadia for my bridal makeup and Kristy for my bridal hair. They both absolutely crushed it making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Nadia is amazing at creating a natural look which was really important to my bridal crew and she couldn’t have done a better job. I also had Julia and Mia help with hair and makeup. The girls worked so well together, were super personable and did an amazing job. Nadia was very flexible allowing me to do 3 separate hair trials to get the look I wanted. If you are looking for a makeup artist that can nail a natural look, look no further! -

I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist to have for my wedding day. She was super sweet from day 1 and always was responsive any time I had questions or last minute requests. She traveled all the way to NY for me and was so worth it. My makeup came out AMAZING! I was in love with it the whole day and not only that but everyone else that got their makeup done by Nadia also loved theirs!! It felt super light and kept its look till the end of the night - didn’t budge at all! She was also very affordable and worth every dollar. I would 100% recommended her -

Wonderful wedding hair and make up!
Nadia and Kristy were so great to work with. I had to change my wedding date three times because of COVID and they were so responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. Then, on the big day, my girls couldn’t stop talking about how great they were and how gorgeous we all felt. Even my mom and my husbands mom, who usually do not want other people doing their hair and make up felt totally comfortable and loved how their hair and make up came out. I couldn’t recommend them any more strongly! -

I had Nadia and her team come to do make up and hair for my wedding on 1/23/21. There were 10 bridesmaids and myself getting ready and we started around 9am, ending around 1:30. Nadia and the rest of the team were SO much fun and were so friendly, chatting it up with the girls all morning, did INCREDIBLE hair and make up that lasted until the following morning, and were just so helpful and accommodating to last minute requests. Personally, my hair stayed in place and curly until the following day (probably longer if I didn’t decide to wash my hair) and my make up lasted all night as well! I can’t recommend Nadia’s Beauty Spot enough!!! -

Flawless & Amazing
Nadia provided such amazing service from start to finish. I was a last minute addition to her schedule for the year and she did everything to accommodate me; even doing my makeup for my shower which was just a few weeks from when I first contacted her. The makeup was stunning. It felt natural, the air brush was flawless, and Nadia was open to any ideas I had. My makeup lasted all night and well into the next day after my wedding. She is a professional and did makeup for all 8 of us with time to spare before we got on the bus. And most girls got air brush, while other went traditional. She can do it all. I am so grateful she was able to fit me in. I felt beautiful and confident! I received a ton of compliments at my shower and wedding. You can’t go wrong booking her! -

Beautiful results, responsive, attentive
I used Nadia’s Beauty Spot for my small wedding during the pandemic. I liked her so much, I am planning to use her for my larger reception after the pandemic. Makeup by Nadia (airbrush), hair by Kristy. We did a trial first I figure out what I wanted them to do for the wedding. Nadia asked questions to understand exactly what I wanted. For the wedding, Nadia and Kristy listened closely and produced what I described, and it looked great. Nadia responds immediately by email and coordinates with Kristy on hair. Both were friendly and upbeat, fun to work with. -

Nadia helped me do my makeup for my small elopement ceremony. She was on time, SO nice, and very knowledgeable about makeup. I chose airbrush and I was so happy that I did, my makeup STAYED PUT until I took it off at 11pm. It looked amazing in my pictures and did not feel heavy in the heat of a July day. I looked like me!! Nadia was amazing on my wedding day! She was called in last minute when my original makeup artist was 3 hours late! I should have went with her from the start, she completely saved the day. She came in with a very fun attitude and was able to get everyone done in time! She was able to give me the look that I wanted for my special day. She is very skilled and knowledgeable in her field but most importantly she is a delight to be around. There will be plenty of people who can apply makeup, but her fun, laid back, and bubbly personality make the experience so much better. I would definitely book her if I ever need professional makeup done again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a makeup artist! -

Really great experience (from the girl who was afraid of too much)
Nadia was really great. The thing I was most worried about on my wedding day (out of literally everything) was how my makeup would come out. I generally wear very little make up and I was really nervous I would end up having too much on and not look like myself. I showed Nadia a few pictures and described to her my concerns. She understood exactly what I wanted and I was MORE than happy with the outcome. I looked like myself, only fancier. It was kind of like how I would have applied it myself if I had the ability (which I definitely don't). AND it stayed all day! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Nadia to anyone getting married in Connecticut... And she was really sweet, which is a plus! -

Nadia was my makeup artist for various wedding related events for over a year. She did my makeup for my engagement pictures, bridal shower, wedding day trial, and wedding day. I absolutely loved how she worked. Nadia listened to my concerns, looked at all of my inspiration pictures, and wasn't afraid to give me some advice based on her expertise. I received so many comments about how beautiful my makeup came out for each event. She was excited to work with me each time and was extremely professional. She was able to do 5 girls makeup within a few hours and made sure that everyone felt their best. The thing that stood out to me most was that she was also willing to do a trial of my mom's wedding day makeup. She was super nervous about getting her makeup professionally done and Nadia was quick to calm her fears! I highly recommend Nadia to any future brides looking for a fabulous make up artist.
