We got my groom's wedding band from the Tyson's Corner Mall location. The sales lady was attentive and helped us find the perfect band. I also got pearl jewelry to wear with my dress here, and couldn't be happier. -

My groom got my engagement ring here and it led us to getting our wedding rings there and all of my wedding jewelry. It's a must visit jeweler if you're getting married in Hawaii! -

I love my engagement ring and the significance behind the maile leaf design! We looked at dozens of stores before going here and all the rings at other stores looked the same! These rings were special.
The employees bent over backward to get my fiancé the ring on time for our trip, during which he proposed. Amazing customer service. -

We chose my rings together and after touring the traditional stores in the Tyson's Galleria in Fairfax, VA, we went into Na Hoku sort of "why not?" I fell in love with the Wave ring set and we bought it that night. The sales staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, even when we went back to have the rings sized. I love that I have something unique - just like me! -

I visited the store location located within the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes in search of a very specific color for my fiance's wood-inlaid wedding band. They didn't have one in stock that matched my specifications but offered to contact all their other locations for me. Less than a week later, I got a call confirming there were several options on hold for me to view. One of them was a perfect match and I purchased.
The store staff are very friendly and professional. If you are worried about finances, there is a 90-day layaway plan or you can also apply for a 6 month interest-free store credit card.
I highly recommend this jeweler! -

My husband and I got our wedding rings at Na Hoku. We wanted a wood inlay in it and we found at this store what we were looking for. The manager at the store was very helpful. She made sure our rings were going to be ready in less than a week. She also offered us engraving for our rings which was a really great idea. When our rings came in we were more than happy with them. Thank you! :) -

The staff at Na Hoku in Horton Plaza is amazingly friendly and welcoming. I was amazed at the quality of the jewelry and the overall professionalism of the people there. They have an amazing selection of unique finds and beautiful, high quality gems, pearls, and inlays. -

My fiance bought me my wedding band from here. It is a beautiful white gold ring with pearl inlay and diamonds. The fit is perfect and the ring is exactly what I wanted. -

I bought my jewelry at Na Hoku in the King of Prussia Mall. I showed them a picture of my dress, and explained my style and they found me the most perfect jewelry. It was a little over my budget, but I can see myself wearing it over and over. It flowed perfectly with my dress, and wasn't too formal. The pearls are beautiful and designed with a modern twist. -

Both my husband and I got our wedding rings here. I absolutely LOVE them. During the honeymoon a diamond fell out of mine and when we got back they took it in, checked it out, and replaced it within a few days with no cost since it was obviously a manufacturers defect. Hubby has had no problems. The staff is wonderful and don't make me feel like I'm being pushed and shoved around like many other jewelry stores.
Also, they have complimentary ring cleaning! Even if you haven't bought from there :-) They're my favorite jeweler on the island. -

Both mine and my husbands rings were from Na Hoku which is so fitting since we were engaged in Hawaii. We love the style, quality and flexibility of Na Hoku. My husbands ring was white gold but he wanted it black and they dipped it for us free of charge. I tell my husband he needs to buy me a piece of jewelry from Na Hoku for each anniversary! -

I love Na hoku's selection! They customized my brides wedding ring! I picked out a yellow gold ring and had it made in 14K white gold with free engraving. They're Timing is great too! They gave the ring the estimated three weeks to make and was surprised to say that it was ready in one! Great service and Great Prices! (Ala Moana Mall Location). -

Spent 799.00 for a ring. One of the diamonds fell out. Took it and paper work back to store of purchase. I was told it would have to be sent to the store in Hawaii for evaluation of who would cover the price of the repair. Hawaii is also the only store for repairs. I purchased this ring in Florida. Do not waste your money or time unless you live in Hawaii. -

Poor Warranty support
I love Na Hoku's jewelry and have purchased multiple pieces for my lovely bride. In 2014, while visiting Maui, we purchased one of their newest designs "The Wave" pendant. During the past 7 years, my wife has worn this perhaps 15-20x. In late 2020, we noticed that several pieces of opal had fallen out of the pendant. We visited our Dallas Na Hoku store and arranged to have the pendant returned for warranty repair on Dec 22, 2020 under their lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. AFTER 12 WEEKS, I was advised that the pendant was not covered under warranty, despite no abuse of the pendant. Further, the repair would take an additional 10-14 weeks. I understand that COVID has affected Hawaii and Na Hoku's suppliers, however, this has been a terrible customer service experience. As a lifetime customer purchasing jewelry when we travel, I am deeply disappointed with this factory response. I do appreciate the personal efforts of Brian, the Dallas Store manager. -

This is a scam
This jewelry store is not reputable and I only wish I had read all of the negative reviews before I made a purchase. My opal cracked within six months of purchase and they will not honor their warranty. When I bought the ring, I pointed out to the jeweler that the stone was loose and he assured me there was nothing to worry about and they stand by their warranty. I’m here to tell you that this is a scam and they do NOT honor their warranty! -

Support local, but not HERE!
This place has ruined our anniversary with a promise to deliver jewelry (signed contract / receipt & have spoken twice now to associate/salesmen in the store since $pending the money and paying in full!) in 8-10 weeks. With several weeks overdue, we've missed our special occasion and are sorely disappointed.
We want to support local, we want to support a'ina, we want to keep money in the State of Hawaii, we want to promote Hawaiian designers and artists.... but this company has lost our trust completely. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO IS VISITING.
I find it important to mention a few other points – our salesperson (N***I) that we've been working with ensured us that she was 'concerned and worried' about the timing. She promised us that she emailed headquarters. She also said to give her one additional week and that she would call us back – we are past that week and are stuck empty handed again.
We already paid in-full for two solid gold and koa wedding bands/rings – ONE OF WHICH WAS ALREADY IN THE STORE COMPLETED BUT HAD TO BE SENT OUT, the other was to be color-matched. We don't understand the delay of over 3 months for one simply designed ring!
Save yourself the headache, time, money, and disappointment – support local but NOT NA HOKU. -

Na HokurRefuses to back their product - rip off tourists
Spent over $3500 on a ring, within 3 months a diamond fell out and the main stone setting failed. Na Hoku refused to fix it. They sent it back to the jeweler who designed it who offered to fix it for 1/2 their normal fee. Absolutely do NOT ever buy from Na Hoku. I have spent over $15K there over the years and will never spend another dime there. We take our friends with us to Kauai and tell them to buy jewelry elsewhere. Horrible experience. Never again. -

I have had a terrible experience working with this company! The picture cheapest and worse jewelry I have ever had. Do not waste your time and effort on this expensive but poor quality and overpriced jewelry. Also, when you finally need a repair, it could take several months and cost as much as the original jewelry. Also note that there is no one to excavate the problem to you who actually returned your phone call. Most people are over in Hawaii and you never get contact with them and the source sales people are extremely unhelpful and your hands are basically tied asking what they can do and how they can assist. The store manager is also very unhelpful. Take my advice and stay away! -

This review is about the Nahoku website. Nahoku advertises a 21 day return policy but then when you actually make a purchase and want to return it they announce that all future purchases will be "final sale". They want the benefits of selling on the internet (saving thousands on brick and mortar stores) but they don't want the hassle of dealing with customer returns! I will never shop Nahoku again, and I had been a very loyal customer! -
