You'll be doing yourself a disservice if you don't book Mythos Weddings!
Forever grateful to the Mythos Weddings team, especially Athina and Dimitra, for giving us the wedding of our dreams. From the decor to the food, it was exactly what we wanted. From the first meeting up to the post wedding follow up, the Mythos team blew us away and we loved working with them. They kept us on track not only on the day, but throughout the planning process which made everything as easy as possible when playing an overseas wedding (we live in Australia). If you are getting married in Kefalonia, do yourself a favor and book Mythos weddings! -

World's Best Wedding Planners
Laura and I chose to have our wedding in Kefalonia in September 2023 and using Mythos Weddings to help us plan it was the best decision we could have made. The reasonable price for their services is an investment that pays back a hundred times over and we are incredibly grateful for the effort that was made to make our day extra special.
Athina was the world’s best wedding planner, helping us to arrange our wedding in less than a year from our first conversation. We felt she was amazingly invested in our event from the start, always seeking to understand our vision and striving to do her upmost to achieve and exceed it. She had fantastic ideas and recommendations and we were more than happy to put our complete faith in her.
The day was orchestrated perfectly by Athina and her entire team, every single member of which our guests could only compliment on their hospitality and friendliness. In fact, it was sad to say goodbye to them all at the end of the night.
We would not hesitate to recommend, if not implore, anyone considering a wedding in Kefalonia to use Mythos Weddings and, if you’re lucky enough, Athina as their wedding planner. The beautiful island can only be complimented by these beautiful people. -

Wow! There's no words to describe how amazing the team at Mythos Weddings are!! From the moment we got in touch, right up until months after our big day they have been absolutely incredible, particularly our lovely Dimitra - we love you so much! We started off looking at abroad weddings online and just fell in love with all of the weddings and events that Mythos had arranged. We went out a year in advance to check out the area, meet the team where we also met the lovely Carol too. Then we couldn't resist coming out again closer to the time and spending more time with the team where we also met Athina too! All of the ladies are just beautiful inside and out and really do come together to make the perfect team. We tried some food testing in prep for the wedding and couldn't believe how delicious it was. As the day grew closer, we planned all of the little details over video calls with Dimitra and sent emails back and forth discussing every part of our special day. Dimitra seemed to know exactly what we had in mind and brought our visions to life! We had some upset before the wedding with an unexpected cancer diagnosis from my late mum which was very difficult and we didn't know if we would even make it out for the wedding or if it would go ahead. But the team helped us with everything and was with us every step of the way. We had last minute changes the night before the wedding to accommodate my mum who was in the greek hospital and Dimitra made sure everything was adjusted and sorted perfectly for us even with all of the changes we had to make. The day arrived and it was just magical. The flower decor and stunning setting was absolutely insane and we couldn't get over how our visions had been brought to life!! All of our guests had said they had never been to such a beautiful, well organised and stunning wedding!! The team were with us helping each step of the way on the big day so that we always felt like we knew exactly what was going on and could actually enjoy ourselves rather than worrying. The reception was also just as beautiful as the ceremony with gorgeous lights and flower decor - a dream come true! The food was incredible but we already knew this from our food tasting the year before! The guests said they'd never known so much food at a wedding - welcome to Greece!!! We also opted with an open bar which was a perfect decision as the guests absolutely loved it and we partied the night away. Honestly I cannot thank the team enough, it was such a wonderful day and we are still re living it whenever we can. We weren't sure if this day would happen, but it did and its the last memory we all have with my beautiful mum and so that makes it even more special for everyone else. Best planners ever!
My husband and I got married in beautiful Kefalonia at the beginning of September 2023. In the search to find a suitable wedding organizer, we had a few interviews with a couple of wedding planners, but as soon as we found Mythos Weddings, nothing else felt more obvious, we already knew after first meeting with them that we found the right one.
From start to finish, Athina and the entire Mythos team have been absolutely fantastic. Athina is a genius, caring and understanding and she created a wedding completely according to our wishes, we couldn't be happier with our wedding day.
You could let go of all control and have full trust in Athina and the team and that was something we really appreciated throughout this journey, they did an absolutely incredible job and we are eternally grateful for everything!
We would highly recommend Athina and her team to future wedding couples - they are the best! -

My husband and I got married this August and we chose Mythos Weddings as our wedding planners. They were amazing! We didn't feel stressed at any point during the wedding prep as we had Dimitra to rely on. On the actual day of the wedding, everything ran super smoothly, our wedding planners were discreet, professional and very effective. All their recommendations for photographers, videographers, DJs etc were spot on. We would definitely recommend Mythos Wedding to any couple! -

Our incredible wedding in July was arranged by Athina and the team at Mythos Weddings. We could not have possibly asked for a more beautiful, happy and well organised wedding day!
From the moment that we first spoke to Athina when enquiring about a wedding in Kefalonia and not knowing where to begin, we felt at ease. We knew that Mythos Weddings were the wedding planners for us and so, within a few weeks of first enquiring we had booked our venue and our date.
Throughout the lead up to the wedding, Athina kept in touch with us regularly through emails and video calls. As a very anxious and organised person, this kept me calm. I can't imagine how stressful planning a wedding would have been without Athina and the Mythos Weddings team!
Athina was always happy to go with our ideas, as well as suggesting some of her own to ensure that the wedding would be more than we could possibly dream of. She sent us plenty of documents and photos to help us make decisions and also asked us to create a Pinterest board to give her an idea of the decor/theming of the day. Athina even helped my brother to organise showing a surprise video of our family and friends that couldn't make it. Every detail of the day was well planned.
On the day of the wedding, Athina and the Mythos Weddings team were on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly. From seating the guests, to getting them to the reception venue, to even helping me to get my food and pin up my train! I always imagined that I would be extremely stressed on my wedding day but this wasn't the case at all. From the moment I arrived at the ceremony, I forgot what stress could feel like.
I cannot thank Athina and Mythos Weddings enough for planning the wedding of our dreams. If you are considering getting married in Kefalonia, I highly recommend that you get in touch with them. -

We used Mythos Weddings to plan our wedding in Assos, Kefalonia in July 2023, which we did entirely remotely. Dimitra and the team worked tirelessly to produce our perfect day. We received personalised, friendly and efficient consultancy throughout the planning and this made us feel in safe and trustworthy hands.
After more than a year of planning it was wonderful to arrive and meet in person for our prep meeting. It was surreal to walk into our reception for the first time and see our plans brought to life!
The floristry was superb. The menu choices were fantastic and the food quality was great. Also the catering service was of a high standard.
We felt really looked after, as did our guests and could see in every detail the passion that Mythos brings to every wedding they plan - they were really invested in creating a beautiful day and they pulled it off.

Dimitria was just perfect the most lovely, kind, diligent, organised person and we felt completely at ease with her throughout the whole process. Every email/WhatsApp was answered very quickly and professionally. No question was silly and she always tried to make all your dreams become reality (luckily all ours were possible).
The day itself was a dream come true and was even more perfect than we could imagine. We chose everything for the wedding but we didn’t know what it would look like when it all came together so it was like we were guests at our own wedding which was so special. Agrilia and St George’s were fairytale venues and even more stunning than I’d imagined.
We came for a first trip to look at venues with the lovely Carole and Athina. Then when we were appointed the lovely Dimitria as our planner we had video calls, emails, messages and a final trip out to taste the menu and see the venues again.
The whole Mythos team on the day were phenomenal. The service was impeccable. The food was absolutely delicious. The bar staff were rushed off their feet with 80 very thirsty guests, churning out cocktails all night and with smiles until 3am!!
Vicky was a fabulous photographer and made us feel at ease the whole day. We are chuffed with our teaser pics which are perfect and can’t wait to get the rest.
We cannot thank the whole Mythos team and Dimitria enough for creating our fairytale wedding and giving us the best day of our lives!

Mythos Weddings, where do we even start - just WOW.
We just want to take this opportunity to thank the whole team at Mythos, but especially the gorgeous Athina for being there with us every step of the way in planning our perfect wedding day. We feel so lucky to have met and worked with a team as talented as you to bring our dream wedding to life.
From the very start with Carol, I knew we were in the BEST hands. Every tiny detail I wanted to discuss was planned to perfection. Carol, Athina and everyone at Mythos are true professions, with the kindest of hearts and beautiful inside and out. All the love and effort that went into the planning made our day that extra special and was noticed by all our guests, with numerous guests saying it was ‘the best wedding they have ever been to’ and ‘celebrity worthy’ - and this wouldn’t have been possible without Mythos (and especially our gorgeous Athina).
Ben and I did both parts of our wedding on the beautiful island of Kefalonia, the legal aspect as well as our big day. Even though I managed to send our families to wrong location for our legal ceremony (I can’t ever apologise to Athina enough for this…), a smile never left Athina’s face, she was there for us every single time we needed her and made the whole planning process one never to forget.
The flowers were INCREDIBLE. The location was PERFECTION. Everything was a DREAM. All we we want to do is relive it - and even though sadly this isn’t possible, we are so lucky to have our forever memories captured by Vicky (photographer) and Aristotelis (videographer) so they can live on forever.
We will cherish the work of Mythos Weddings for the rest of our lives. Our wedding would not have been possible without you.

I cannot express how grateful and thrilled we were with the wonderful care and attention provided by Athina, Carol and the Mythos Team, in planning and executing our dream wedding.
Athina was so helpful and organised throughout the whole planning process, and we always felt confident that she had everything under control.
Even when we asked if we could get married on stunning Foki Beach (which incidentally had never been used as a wedding location before), the team were happy to oblige in making the enquiries to ensure that the setting was appropriate for the occasion.
Athina and the whole team really did us so proud on the day. Every single detail was thoughtfully prepared, considered and executed above and beyond our expectations. Each and every business who contributed to the success of the event were professional, knowledgeable and hugely talented. Moreover, they were all a pleasure to work with.
Many of our guests commented that it was the 'best wedding they had ever attended' .... and some of those guests were in their late 70s!!
We wish we could do it all again as it really was the most special day of our entire lives, and also an incredible moment for our families and friends.
I would like to urge any couples who are considering planning a wedding on the beautiful island of Kefalonia to not hesitate in choosing Mythos Weddings as their chosen wedding planners. Mythos Wedding are the BEST team you could wish for in helping you create your perfect wedding.

Truly magical
Review
AMAZING! From the very first video call with Carol from Mythos Weddings we knew we were in good hands! What an amazing team they have that really do go that extra mile to make sure the wedding day was simply magical. It was more than we could have ever imagined. The wedding blues are still strong now.. My now Husband Joel and I, started planning our wedding back in 2020 when we got engaged. We always wanted to get married abroad and initially we started looking at Croatia this very quickly moved to Greece when we found Mythos Weddings online. Growing up I had visited a few of the Greek islands but never Kefalonia and we decided to go somewhere neither of us had been before.
We looked at the settings on Mythos Weddings’ website which were just stunning! During our video calls Carol asked us for our ideas & thoughts then showed us what she thought would suit. It was clear from the off Carol understood us and what we wanted the day to be. The whole planning process was super easy and laid back which we didn’t expect when planning a wedding, we honestly did not feel at all stressed or nervous. We made a Pinterest board in conjunction with Carol and from this she created the most beautiful day. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in Lassi but the venue a 50 min drive away, Carol organised 2 coaches to take us to and from the venue and then facilitaed 2 different pick up times which suited everybody. Carol even stayed until 2am and made sure everyone got on the coach safely!!
We had 2 photographers (Vasilis & Maria) who were amazing and made us feel at ease. Demi & Carol looked after our guests and supplied us with drinks to get through the photos in the heat haha!
The first venue was Agrilia Chapel which was decorated beautifully, we had not seen either of these venues in person prior to the day! The view was unreal everyone was commenting how beautiful it was! We were just taking it all in.. the flower arch was perfect and better than I imagined with the dried/fresh flower mix. The bouquet, chairs, flower baskets for the flower girls so beautiful. Cold drinks were served & background music played whilst guests took shade under the trees. The second venue was St George’s which again was decorated beautifully this was a short car journey (10 mins) from Agrilia. As we walked in the 2 older flower girls & best man rang the bells above us. Carol got our guests to form 2 lines as we walked in. On the top table we had white roses hanging, dried flowers on the tables, dried flower decor on the tables, our seating plan had been dressed up and pinned to a tree, fairy lights everywhere. It felt so surreal. Every tiny detail was considered and beautifully covered. Hats off to the DJ who mixed the first 2 hours of our playlist he was amazing! At the last minute we decided to switch our first dance song up so half way through so our guests could come & join us….he timed this perfectly! We really did have the most amazing day & we wouldn’t change a thing…only go back in time to re-live this day/night all over again! You guys really are the most amazing team & we are so grateful for you.
There is not enough Thank yous we can give for giving us & our guests the best memories to last a life time.

Best day of our lives!
Carol and the Mythos team were absolutely amazing, we couldn’t have asked for a better team to plan our wedding! The effort that was put in throughout the planning process was incredible. They’re so very helpful and provided us with so many ideas and inspirations to make sure our day went as perfectly as it did. Carol was wonderful at keeping in contact throughout the time leading up to the wedding to provide exciting updates, answer all of our questions and never failed to leave us with a smile! We are quite a laid back couple so we gave some basic ideas of what we had in mind to which Carol and the team came back to us with some amazing pictures of previous weddings and other ideas and from there, they helped us create our perfect wedding day.
Our wedding day was way beyond our expectations, it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect and that’s all thanks to the effort and the attention to detail that the mythos team provide. We decided not to visit our two venues because we wanted it to be a surprise and I think that shows how much trust you can put into this team, from the way Carol described the venues to us and from the photos that we had seen, we felt completely comfortable in putting our faith in them and letting them put together our wedding day. What we truly appreciated was Carols honesty during the process. She was always very upfront with any issues that can come to light at certain venues and certain times of year. Which makes planning so much easier.
We were extremely thrilled with everybody involved, from the hair and make up artists, to the florist, all the caterers (all our guests still rave about how delicious the food was!), and our incredible photographer Vicky, who captured our day beautifully.
Not only are they all fantastic at their job but they are some of the nicest people we have ever met and it truly was an honour to get to know them and plan this special occasion with them. Thank you for our perfect day! -

Thank you so much to the Mythos Weddings team and especially Dimitra who was our main coordinator. Dimitra is so lovely, caring and understanding and will truly ensure you have a magical day. The venues we chose were just as we’d dreamed on the day and we are so grateful you made it a reality for us.
The food was absolutely delicious, best we had in our whole 3.5 weeks in Kefalonia and all the guests said so too.
Our wedding was delayed two years due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and then delayed by 1.5 hours on the day as our baby was I’ll and has to be checked by a paediatrician. Dimitra and the team handled this calmly and with ease keeping the guests happy in a beautiful cafe so they didn’t notice the delay. We can’t thank you enough. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get married in Kefalonia! -

Whatever you do, choose Mythos!
I don’t know where to start with the Mythos team! From the video calls with Carol at the very beginning of planning, right through to the actual wedding day, they were all absolutely incredible.
The energy that Carol gave us over our calls made the whole planning period so exciting, she would handle every situation in such a calm manner, people would ask us if we were stressed leading up to the big day, my reply was always “Not at all, we have Carol!”
When starting wedding planning, it can seem quite overwhelming with the amount of different areas to consider, but Carol made every step so easy and completely understood us and how we wanted our day to be down to every little detail. I told her my vision for the dinner table and decor… when I saw it I nearly cried at how beautiful it looked. The lounge area, our wedding arch, the flowers… just everything was breathtaking.
There were quite a lot of logistics to our wedding day (boats to the beach, coaches taking guests to and from each venue, and accommodation pick up and drop offs), all this being for 56 guests. None of the above was too much for the Mythos team, the day went as smooth as it could, and they made sure the day flowed perfectly in such a relaxed way. It didn’t feel like we had wedding planners with us, they felt like friends with us on the day.
When people back home ask us how the wedding was, words cannot describe the day. Our guests say it was the best wedding they have EVER been to, with the best wedding food they have ever eaten. They even commented on how amazing all the Mythos team were, and what lovely people they were. My brother brought his 11 month old baby, and without being asked, Athina was keeping him occupied and playing with him to keep him happy in the shade. It’s moments like this that make the Mythos team extra special.
I’ll finish here as I could go on forever, but I cannot thank the team enough for creating the most magical day for us. It’s a day that we will never forget, and wish we could re-live it every year! Beautiful island, beautiful people, beautiful Mythos!

Mythos gave us the most perfect wedding day. We had a small budget and wanted a rustic, relaxed and fun wedding and they really provided that and the food was AMAZING.
Our planner was Dimitra and nothing was too much trouble for her. She listened to all our requests and was always on hand if we needed anything and made sure our day ran smoothly. From start to finish we are so so pleased we used Mythos Weddings for our special day. Every single detail on the day was better than we ever expected or imagined. The planning process was so easy and stress free, we felt so comfortable with Athina, she was always there to answer our questions as well as make suggestions and help us in every way. The whole process was really enjoyable and the whole thing was worth every penny. The venue decorations blew us away. The food was the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding and the photographer was also amazing. The DJ was faultless and ensured everyone had the best time! Every thing exceeded our expectations and I can’t recommend Athina at Mythos enough. -
