Can’t recommend them enough!!!

I don’t even know where to start with this review. It’s the day after my wedding and I’m still spinning over how magical they made the day. We initially had two planned dates before scrapping the whole thing and moving to my family’s backyard. I already had most of my vendors but I had NO idea how we would put all the pieces together without the support of a traditional venue. Kara and Laura met with me on a weekly basis for a condensed planning service and always made it seem like I was the only bride they had to work with. They supported all my crazy crafting ideas and made me feel like things might actually work out. I did NOT expect the extensive care they would provide the day of AT ALL. It was insane. They made sure I had food/drinks always and picked up any time I seemed frustrated and ran to help immediately. The two other women they brought were equally as incredible and managed my wild dogs or carried my train at any moment I needed it. I will forever remember them as such a huge part of my day. I keep looking back at photos of the tent and how they set things up and I’m simply in shock at how they took everything out of my brain and put it into reality. All of my guests are absolutely raving about how smoothly everything ran considering how chaotic it could have been. I can’t wait to plan future events with them because I pretty much trust them with my life now. THANK YOU LADIES! You are simply miracle workers. If anyone is considering whether they need planners or not, the answer may not be an immediate yes but boy was this 100000% worth it!!

There aren't enough words..

..to describe how amazing it was working with My Bellissima. I absolutely loved them, and I really think my wedding wouldn’t have been as great if it weren’t for them.

I unfortunately didn’t have it in my budget to hire them for full planning services, but was able to work with them through consulting hours and week of/day of coordination. Laura and Kara are the perfect duo. They are so much fun and extremely knowledgeable. They bounce ideas off each other to create/design the perfect wedding for you. Every time I spoke with them, I would get more and more excited about the wedding and less and less stressed.

Kara and Traci were with me the day of, and I’m so glad they were. All of the details that I had imagined were executed perfectly, and they were always around whenever me or my husband needed anything.

My Bellissima was worth every penny! They made the planning process so easy, stress-free, and filled with excitement. You will not regret working with them. I only regret not working with them earlier. LOVE them!

For our wedding last fall 2013, my husband and I had a very unique vision of transforming the grounds of my parents farm style home (in NJ) into a wedding venue! As you can imagine, this was going to be quite a task with a 315 person invite-list, the uniqueness of the event and to add to it my husband and I live in Chicago! We immediately looked for a wedding planner to help us take on this task and came upon Laura and Kara from My Bellissima. We instantly felt they were the perfect team to help make our fairytale wedding a reality.

From the very beginning, Laura and Kara provided us with above and beyond service in every aspect of our planning. It felt like they were able to get inside my head and see my vision and then take that to enhance it with all of the best vendors to create something greater than I could have ever imagined.

On the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch and they were there for me every step of the way. My family (especially my mom) did not have to worry about any details and spent the night dancing away without a care because of the amazing My Bellissima team. I sincerely believe that future brides would be crazy not to have Laura and Kara and My Bellissima to plan and coordinate their weddings! We had a truly magical wedding night/weekend and could NOT have done it without My Bellissima!!!

My Belissima was the absolute BEST choice for wedding planning!! They were patient, fun, and super organized!! They were highly responsive to all of my emails and phone calls and made us feel like we were their only clients, even though I know they are in very high demand and working on multiple events all the time. They worked extremely hard on making our vision come to life and everything went so perfectly on the day of the wedding! I would definitely use them again for any events in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for professional event planners.

Kara, Laura and Danielle of My Bellissima are the most genuine wedding planners available. They will take whatever it is that you've been dreaming of and bring it to reality. not only that but they made a 300 person EXTREMELY detailed wedding at oheka castle easy, and stress free. On the day of I didnt have to do a single thing but enjoy myself and celebrate with my family. nobody in my wedding party or my family was worried or stressed out. We all had a blast, it was beautiful. these girls handled all the vendors who had questions and made everything go smoothly. best of all these girls are now my friends, and i love them!

Laura and Kara were amazing to work with. They listened to my "dreams" and made them a reality and even more beautiful then I could have even imagined. They introduced me to FANTASTIC vendors who were amazing to work with, produced quality work, and were in my budget (YAY YAY YAY).

They are organized beyond belief. They created excel spreadsheets that track my spending, created a payment calendar (when checks are due to your different vendors), sent me emails telling me what should be done when and what I should be thinking about. They made everything so easy and not living in NJ where the wedding was being held... they were life savers. They worked with my schedule and set up numerous meetings for when I was in town.

They cared about the big picture and all of the little details that I probably would have forgotten about or just not have imagined were a possibility. They constantly sent me pictures of ideas or came up with elements that were just out of this world amazing. They ordered items for me and stored them in their office so that my parents and I didn't have to worry about it!

They listen to mye thoughts, worries, and cares and worked with me to create what I wanted and not what they want to do (other companies gave me this impression). They were not only my wedding planners but I consider them as my friends. I could not think of more wonderful people and who are truly great at what they do! They treated my July wedding as if it was there own and not only cared about the wedding but about me, my now husband, and family!

My family has owned and operated a wedding facility for over 34 years so weddings basically run through my blood. When I got engaged I knew the pressure was on! I wanted to impress my guests and didn't want to stress out over all the details.

I decided to hire a wedding planner to help me manage my to do list and help me think outside of what I'm used to. When I saw the MB website I fell in love! Then I met with Laura and Kara and I was sold! Coming from a family business I knew working directly with the owners was the way to go. They treated my wedding as if it were their own.

One thing that I did not expect to love about a wedding planner was their help with my vendor selection. I wanted something new and fresh and their recommendations were perfect. I knew if Laura and Kara told me they were good that I could trust them. They of course helped me with all of the fun details and guiding me when making decisions I was unsure about. But most importantly that week they checked in and checked over lists that gave me peace of mind. I was able to ENJOY my wedding! I didn't worry about a thing.

That day it felt like having two sisters there to help in anyway. But they also gave me my space so that I could be a part of the fun! I would recommend them to any of my brides and will do so over and over again! I can't say one thing bad about my experience. I also have to give a shout out to Danielle and Michael :) You rock!

We were blessed to find Kara and her team at My Belissima. From the very first meeting "just to talk" we knew that working with Kara would allow us to enjoy the entire planning process and most of all, the wedding day! These gals became our extendned family after more than a year of working together. It never once felt like we were just a number... Kara took my daughter's vision of what she wanted and brought it to life in a way that we could not have done on our own. As a Mom, this was a gift to me and my sanity! Every vendor was wonderful and accommodating, willing to work with us on budget, creative ideas and most of all, available when we needed to talk.
My Belissima kept us on track, brought wonderul and unique ideas that we were able to implement ( it is all in the details!), and saved us vaulable time. On occasion, the gals were invaluable as mediators to help make decisions and just bounce ideas off of from their wealth of experience.
The day of the wedding , we were all relaxed, pampered and taken care of...confident that Kara and her team were taking care of everything. The day was perfect! Most of all, our family was not stressed and every detail was addressed with loving care and the utmost professionalism.
We love My Belissima and when we have another wedding.... they are our first phone call!

Simply put, My Bellisima is the best. Our wedding would not have been possible without Laura, Kara, and their incredible work. Initially, I was one of those brides who thought I had everything in control. About five months out, I realized not only was I not in control, I had no idea on what I was really doing. So with a little hesitation, I called My Bellisima and was immediately found relief. From our first phone call, I knew that they were the solution to all our wedding issues. They are two of the most professional, creative, but most of all kind women I have had the pleasure meeting. They helped us tie us all our loose ends, thought of things that would have never even crossed our minds, and became an invaluable support system in the final hours leading to our wedding! My only regret is not calling them the day after we got engaged. I can truly say these two are quite the duo. We are forever grateful for all their work and would highly recommend them for planning ANY event!

Laura and Kara are just amazing! They really made my wedding day run so smoothly and everything was perfect. They took every once of pressure off of me the week before the wedding so I didn't have to run around with a million things on my to do list...I was able to really relax and enjoy the week with relatives and friends. I was so happy that packages offered were very flexible. Although I didn't need a full wedding planning service, I was able to get a la carte consulting hours as well as the much needed "day of, week of" service which was a total life saver. Whatever degree of help you need with your wedding, these girls are phenomenal!

Laura and Kara from My Bellissima are nothing short of amazing. When I found them I had already picked my vendors, but was lost when it came to Florists. I hired them for consulting hours and together along with the amazing florist that they introduced me to, they pulled all of my ideas together and everything looked perfect. I would never have found my florist without them. My room could not have been pulled together the way it was without these ladies!!

As the wedding day drew closer, I thought I had everything under control. Then a few things fell apart! The day before my wedding, I had picked up candy apples that we were going to use as place card holders. However, after only a couple hours of being in my air conditioned home all of the candy MELTED. I called Laura and Kara, and within two hours they had found new apples at a lower cost and the crisis was averted! Keep in mind candy apples are not easy to find in the summer!!! They helped me resolve numerous other last minute mishaps that happened and I could not imagine what I would have done without them.

I could not be happier with the services Laura, Kara and the My Bellissima team offered throughout my wedding week/end. They were an essential and I could not have gotten married without them!! I had no clue how badly I needed them, but throughout my wedding day I found myself thinking - who would be doing this if Laura and Kara were not here?! Do not hesitate - Just Hire Them Now! You will be so glad that you did!

I had stumbled across My Bellissima's website one afternoon while I was looking at bridal stuff on the internet, before I was even engaged. I bookmarked their site and knew the minute I was engaged I would be contacting them. Months later I was finally engaged and My Bellissima was my next phone call. When I met Kara and Laura, I was just in awe of them. They are the ying and the yang of each other. They can finish each other's sentences and they made me feel very comfortable. I was sitting in their office screaming inside saying OMG they are perfect for the job!!! It was a match made in bridal heaven. I am a very controlling person and I was afraid to let someone else take the reins but with them I knew it was all going to be fabulous and extraordinary. I trusted them immediately with it all. The service they offer is top notch and we got exactly what we paid for and more. My Husband was just as involved in the planning process as I was and he could not thank them enough for all they did. We followed all their instructions about when we needed things accomplished and it was a breeze. They were there with us every step of the way. I had the most wonderful, unstressful year of planning a wedding. I think back now and know I could not have done this without them. They kept us on our wedding budget by moving our numbers around so we could have every single thing on our wedding wish list. They have the best connections in the wedding industry and they hooked us up with some amazing, outta this world vendors that understood our style. My Bellissima's attention to detail from the stationary (save the dates, wedding invitations, day of stationary), welcome boxes, favors, centerpieces and table linens to our amazing cake was executed beautifully with extra details I didn’t even know could exist. It told our story and that is the best thing about these two Ladies.. they tell your story. Each and every wedding they do is special and one of a kind. That’s the service you will be getting when you hire My Bellissima. Our wedding day was beyond amazing - beyond fantastic. We walked into our ballroom and it said it all. I was literally in tears. I could not believe what I was seeing was our wedding. They had accomplished exactly what we wanted, that WOW wedding from the purple tones, glam and romantic, over the top with fireworks (literally) and of course, BLING. Words can never express how wonderful and amazing these gals are but hire them and you will be one happy bride. 5 stars is not enough for them. I would give them the whole universe! I am in the process of planning my wedding with Laura and Kara from My Bellissima and i can't express how unbelievable they are, besides them being the sweetest 2 girls i have ever met! The service they offer is top notch. They def. are keeping me in budget and they move my numbers around so i can have every single thing on my wedding wish list. My Fiance and I fight about who loves them more!! Coming from a guy prospective he can't thank them enough for keeping me sane through the whole weddig process, cause we all know how stressful it can be. I am so happy that I worked with Laura and Kara of My Bellissima for my recent wedding. I simply cannot rave about them enough. Call these wonderful ladies today if you are looking for two of the kindest, brightest people in the wedding business. I had an intimate wedding and encountered many planning issues along the way before I chose to work with them, and I am so glad that I did. My wedding day turned out to be absolutely perfect! One of the things so many of my guests told me was that my husband and I seemed so refreshingly calm and happy. I was thrilled for the compliments-- and very happy to report that we were calm and happy because My Bellissima made the day magical and stress-free! For those of you researching wedding planning vendors, I'm very happy to tell you that My Bellissima is exemplary at the basics: their design vision is completely unparalleled, their vendor network and relationship skills are top notch, and their coordination execution is flawless. Beyond the basics, I struggle to truly capture in words what Laura and Kara did for me. They went out of their way to support me and truly made me feel like I was part of the My Bellissima family, even when I struggled to make decisions or became overwhelmed. Their empathy and willingness to work with me at every step of the way allowed me to truly feel like someone was always in my corner. Laura and Kara were a blessing. I completely agree with the other reviewers that regretted not hiring My Bellissima sooner. Once you meet with them and begin working with them, you will adore them and wonder how you ever planned a moment without their incredibly inspiring creativity and genuine warmth. I loved working with Laura and Kara! I know I would have not had the fabulous wedding I did if it wasn't for them. I knew absolutely nothing about wedding planning, and they know everything! They made it all so simple and painless and had such great ideas and suggestions...I can't say enough good things! I don't know how they put a price on what they do, because it's truly priceless! They have such great style and taste. The minute I walked in their office, I knew they were going to be great. I said to them I wanted my wedding to have the My Bellissima "look" and they delivered! I booked the start to finish package and they really were there for every little step of the way, including the wedding day, making sure everything went as planned. If I could offer one piece of advice to future brides I would strongly recommend they hire a wedding planner! But not just any wedding planner...they NEED professionals like My Bellissima. Kara and Laura will work around the clock to bring your vision to life. Deciding to hire My Bellissima proved to be the best decision my husband and I made throughout our wedding planning process. Not only did My Bellissima make it easy for us through their expert organization and planning, but we both thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Kara and Laura! These women effectively take the drama out of planning and were absolutely wonderful to work with. Kara and Laura helped turn our vision into a reality and infused it with their unique and creative ideas that honestly elevated our big day to a whole new level. To say these women pay close attention to detail is an understatement. Kara and Laura meticulously went over every detail with us, leaving no stone unturned. And in the end, our wedding was stunning...well beyond our wildest expectation and executed to perfection. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. We actully felt like a guest at our own wedding! We received tons of thanks yous saying it was the best wedding they ever attended. Believe it or not people still rave about our wedding today! And we owe that to My Bellissima. It is difficult to imagine what our weddding day would have been like without My Bellissima. Without question we will definitely turn to My Bellissima for future events and insist that friends and family who are planning a wedding at the very least set up a meeting with Kara and Laura...all it took was one meeting with us...and the result was the best day of our lives!

I had originally met with Laura and Kara after booking a few vendors and starting the wedding planning process. I loved them immediately, but thought - I have this under control! No problem! After being sent to my 4th catering manager at my venue, I knew I needed back-up. Laura & Kara were amazing. They kept me on track, reminded me of important items that needed to get done, gave great suggestions for our bridal party gifts and welcome bags (both a huge hit!), and helped keep Bride, Groom AND families calm on the wedding day. One of their most important roles was helping to provide amazing ways to remember my father in law, who passed away a month before the wedding. It was just what we needed and was perfect.

My dad can't wait for my sister's to get engaged so that we can hire My Bellissima again. My only wedding regret? That I didn't hire them from the start!

I dont know where to even begin with telling you how AMAZING My Bellissima was for my wedding! I met Laura and Kara one week after I got engaged! I knew I had a vision of my perfect wedding in my head, but I needed help to make it possible. Everyone thought I was crazy after all I had been planning my wedding for like 5 years! Boy were they wrong. Having My Bellissima from the very begining I was able to hire vendors I would NEVER have found on my own. And having them to back them up, made me that more confident in my choice and that much less in stressed! I truly was able to have the best team of vendors for my wedding! From the second I met with Laura and Kara, I knew that no matter what my vision, no matter how crazy it may have been that they were on the same page as me and that they were going to do everything in their power to make it come true. My wedding day well surpassed every dream I had ever had in my head. It was like they were able to get into my thoughts that I didnt even know were there and then make it come to life. Things I didnt even think of, they did! I am a very high anxiety, perfectionist, control freak so I was def not an easy client to work with. The day of my wedding was perfect!!! There was no stress whatsover. I knew that whatever the problem or concern that came up that Laura and Kara had it covered. I recently met up with them after my wedding to catch up and talk about the whole day. There were SO many things that went wrong! not bad things, just little things that could happen to anyone. If I didnt have them, I would have had to deal with all of the problems. But because of them, I had no idea they even happend which may me believe my wedding day was that much more perfect and I have that vision in my head still not all the craziness and drama. You dont realize how many things go into a wedding. THe littlest things you dont think of, but Laura and Kara do this every single day and they DID think of everything. My husband at first was very skeptical to go with wedding planners. he knew I had been planning for so long and had no idea why we needed to spend the money. I just kept telling him to trust me. But after the wedding the first thing that he said to me was "thank god we had Laura and Kara!" and trust me he hardly ever admits he was wrong! Look I could go on and on for days about how amazing My Bellissima is...but just meet with them, I promise you after the first meeting you will be hooked and you will be so glad you listened to me. From bride to bride who really thinks they know everything about weddings....you DONT! Trust Laura and Kara....and the rest of the Bella Girls. I promise you they are the sole reason that my wedding day was the BEST day of my life!!!! and if you go with them you will be able to say the same thing one day!!! Congrats on your engagement! Enjoy every second!!

My Bellissima is amazing! Working with these ladies was an absolute blast! We would never have had our dream wedding without them! They have so many new and creative ideas. My Bellissima really got to know us throughout the entire planning process and made suggestions they knew would fit us as a couple. Our wedding was a complete success because My Bellissima coordinated the entire event from the very beginning. We were truly a guest at our own wedding!
