We are truly grateful for Music in Tahoe for making our wedding the most epic party! We had Isaac as our dinner and reception DJ, and two live musicians - Lucas on the guitar and Karl on the saxophone - for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We have so many great things to say about all three of them.
My now husband and I share a deep bond over music and we knew we wanted a DJ who had the same love and passion for music as we do. Isaac was our guy - from the beginning he was very involved in getting a sense of our music taste, walking through song selections prior to the wedding and validating the timing of when songs would be played. He even remade the song we chose as our first dance to cut out the first verse (at our request) and made the intro flow into the first chorus perfectly. His execution was flawless and our guests could have danced all night. We received so many compliments on the music and we owe it all to Isaac.
We also want to give a big shout out to the live musicians, Lucas and Karl. Lucas is an incredibly talented guitarist. He learned the songs we wanted for our processional and bridal walk (in an impressively short amount of time) and played them live beautifully. Karl is also an amazing saxophonist. Both he and Lucas were the best duo for the live music played throughout our cocktail hour. -

Isaac was a godsend! He learned a song , on his guitar, for our processional walk! He is a kind funny fun loving down to earth talented guy, loved everything about him and the vibes he brought to our wedding. He knew exactly how to read the room and keep the party going. As cliche as it is, our wedding was the best day of my life, and Isaac had no small part in making that magic happen! -

Music in Tahoe is the BEST! We had such a fantastic experience working with Isaac throughout the wedding planning process, and he really delivered on our wedding day! I really appreciated Isaac's flexibility as we changed our package multiple times before the wedding, ultimately deciding to add live musicians and extend the DJ service until midnight. Isaac was immensely helpful talking us through different options for our ceremony (did we want a pianist? saxophonist? violinist?), and the acoustic guitar & violin duo we decided on was absolutely beautiful. The musicians Isaac found were able to learn and play new songs for our ceremony, including an instrumental version of "Ave Maria" to accompany one of our friends as she sang (they were even willing to rehearse with her beforehand!). He also spent an hour on the phone with me a few weeks before the wedding as I explained exactly what kind of music I wanted at the reception. At the reception, Isaac was a skilled emcee; he knew how to make important announcements without disrupting the flow of the evening and was quick to adjust when timelines shifted and plans changed. He even let one of our friends use his guitar for a song performance. The dance floor was LIT all night, packed with people dancing and singing, and we heard from so many people that it was one of the most fun weddings they'd ever been to. Isaac also seamlessly transitioned from our outdoor reception to our indoor after-party without skipping a beat. We highly recommend Isaac and Music in Tahoe for your wedding or any other event! -

All I wanted for my wedding was a great dance party and Isaac delivered that. He had us pick songs we wanted to play and then mixed them into danceable tracks. He is the all in one package since he also sings and plays guitar.
Utilize his guitar and voice for your ceremony and cocktail hour and then let him light up the dancefloor later in the evening for a night you'll never forget! He is truly amazing! -

Isaac and Sam with Music in Tahoe were amazing to work with. They were very communicative, responsive, and clear with what was possible/what the different options entailed.
We worked with Sam for our wedding and he's incredibly talented. He took time and care in understanding what we were hoping for, and executed that flawlessly. Music was a very key thing for us, but we wanted to make sure that our guests all got tastes of things they loved as well. Somehow Sam took all of our disjointed requests and put everything together for a smooth, incredible day. ALL guests were on the dance floor all night, thanks to him! He also played the acoustic guitar for the welcome + ceremony, which was amazing and added so much to the ceremony. He's very, very talented.
We highly, highly recommend Sam and team! -

Isaac with Music in Tahoe is the best!! From the moment we talked I just knew I was making the right decision. He was always there to help answer my millions of questions and help in any way possible to ease my mind. I built out my own playlist that he took, added to, mixed and perfected. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing his acoustic set was and how he kept the dance floor rocking all night! He really is a one stop shop, live music, DJ, lights, mics, the whole set up! If you are looking for a DJ in the Tahoe area look no further. Best DJ! Thank you Issac!! -

Music in Tahoe was an amazing team to work with! From the very beginning communication was seamless and we were able to discuss our vision for the music throughout our wedding with both Isaac and Milton. Milton made our wedding so incredibly special. He played beautiful acoustic flamenco guitar during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour which we felt was such a unique and special touch. When it was time to party he was able to really bring the energy and our dance floor was completely full from beginning to end! Our guests could not get enough and are still talking about how much fun they had dancing! -

Our wedding was the best party of our life, and we owe much of that to Isaac! He was so great to work with, professional and chill and knew how to organize our random favorites into an amazing night that had everyone on the dance floor. He knew how to read a crowd really well, and could expertly tell what the crowd wanted. We had the time of our life and couldn't be more grateful for Isaac's expertise, ability to listen to our needs, and high energy. We'd hire him again in a second! Thanks again! -

My husband I agree that if we could give Isaac six stars we would do it in a heartbeat. Before we even started the dinner service people were trying to get on the dance floor! haha!
When the dance floor officially opened every single person was out there the entire night. Literally, no one was sitting down.
Isaac exceeded all expectations from start to finish. I have had more than a dozen of our guests tell us that it was the best wedding dance party they had ever been to. -

We hired Music in Tahoe to do our wedding in August 2019. We had music as a very high priority at our wedding. We also had an event the night before that required a separate soundsystem. We worked with Music in Tahoe on the music/programming/live band/DJ logisitics and were impressed every step of the way. Isaac and music in tahoe simply put know good music and how to execute and event. I have been to many other weddings and often the music/DJ plays recycled wedding hits(Sweet Caroline, Shout, etc). We wanted nothing to do with that. We wanted funky/fun authentic music and Isaac and Music in Tahoe took our vision and executed it at the highest level. Music in Tahoe had a package that fit our requirements and everything went perfectly. On our wedding day we had mics/sound for the ceremony, a live band and 2 DJs play outside for the reception, one which required a full turntable setup. For the after party Isaac DJd on a separate soundsystem setup inside our lodge. Music in Tahoe took our style and suggestions and linked us up with the live band as well. Music in Tahoe managed a couple of scheduling changes/challenges that were made by us and they also suggested the best ways to make the ceremony and reception flow based on their experience and also our input on what we wanted. Our wedding guests loved our music and event. My mom even went to a wedding the next week and told me that "The djs at the other wedding weren't even mixing". Music in tahoe will take your input and create the perfect musical experience for you and your guests or if you need help to create and execute your vision they can do that as well. Isaac is also an amazing DJ and the best wedding MC I have ever experienced. Hire music in Tahoe for a reputable and amazing company for your event- -

If you're looking for a DJ in the Tahoe area you HAVE TO book Isaac. He is by far the best, above and beyond, can't say enough good things. Isaac made our wedding planning and day so easy. He made sure he knew our vibe and helped create a playlist from songs we liked, and his own picks. I felt I could really relax once we got to the reception because I knew we were in good hands with him. People were on the dance floor the entire time! Isaac picked music that all generations would love, from my smallest cousins to my husband's 94 year old grandmother! He even put in a few salsa songs that my mother-in-law requested and it fit perfect. Everyone raved about Isaac! He was our sound engineer for the ceremony when our friend played acoustic guitar, and then switched over to musician and played acoustic guitar at our cocktail hour which our guests loved. At the end of the night he turned it up and became full on DJ with a custom set and it was epic! The lighting, the music, the mixing, everything was perfect. Thank you Isaac for all you do! -

I am a speaker and have 13 years experience with over 100,000 people.
I was INCREDIBLY impressed by Isaac.
The sound was perfect and my favorite thing was how aware of everyones energy.
In a speakers world you say "Read your room". If people aren't with you, you change what you are doing. Some DJ's will stick to their plan. But Isaac was a master.
If the energy was low he changed to a more upbeat song the song. If we were out of breath he slowed it down.
Everyone had a blast, and my favorite part, was I could hear the ENTIRE WEDDING CEREMONY easily!!!
I know it sounds simple but I have been to many wedding where I could barely hear anything.
I would hire him for my wedding in the future and recommend him to anyone! -
Jennifer Sent on 08/23/2018I cannot fully express how HAPPY we are that we hired Isaac with Music in Tahoe as the DJ for our wedding reception!
We had a destination wedding where absolutely no one we knew was from the Tahoe area, which meant selecting our vendors was done completely based on reviews and interviewing over the phone. From the start I felt comfortable talking with Isaac, and not like he was selling me on just another gig like I felt with some of the other interviews. He was so easy to talk to, and made sure to ask the right questions so he fully understood the type of atmosphere we wanted to create for our guests! The song list & timeline planning was a breeze, my husband and I both love a variety of music but my husband definitely wanted a period towards the end of the night of just nothing but old school hip hop etc (we’re 80’s babies here), so Isaac created the perfect mashup from our song list! He was set up & ready to go with plenty of time before the party. Once the guests arrived at the reception, he immediately started greeting them, making them feel welcome, and setting the stage for the absolute BEST party of our lives! The night stayed on schedule thanks to his direction following our timeline. He even reminded guest about visiting the photo booth and updated them on other various things throughout the night so that no one missed out! The music mashup was incredible and flowed so perfectly building up getting better & better the whole night through, and ended with the hip hop party finale my husband & I wanted, all of our favorite songs! Our dance floor was packed ALL night long, and once it was all over the only complaint we heard from our guest was that they they were having so much fun they didn’t want the party to end... and in my opinion that’s a complaint every bride wants to hat the end of her wedding day!! -

Beth Sent on 11/19/2017Lucas was the best! He was conscientious and included our must haves, while still adding some fan favorites that were not on our list. Many guests commented on how perfect the song choices were. We could tell he truly loves what he does-it showed all night long. Isaac was so impressive, made it look so easy!
