Stop Reading Reviews and Hire Music in Motion

I hired Music in Motion for our son’s bar mitzvah after reading so many glowing reviews and it was the best planning decision we made! Ross went above and beyond to help us with some decision-making, as well as making sure he had an understanding of our event space ahead of time. The online event planning process helped us think through what decisions we’d have to make and ensured everything was communicated ahead of time and ran seamlessly during the party.
John and Jamez were fantastic and kept the kids engaged the entire party—they knew exactly what the kids would be into, kept the energy up (and knew just what games would change things up when the energy got a little TOO high!) Music in Motion made our event a success, I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Best Choice!!

Ross came highly recommended from a previous bride and he exceeded our expectations throughout the whole process. Over a year later, we continue to have people compliment our music at our reception and even have friends who are now hoping to have Ross DJ their wedding after hearing him at ours last year! He was thoughtful, brought the party, and really took the time to make our ideal set list. Could not recommend him enough!!

Can never say thank you enough

Long story short, Ross pretty much swooped in and saved the day- and ended up being one of the most influential people on my wedding day. He's just such a fun person to be around and has a great energy to him. I had probably too rigid of a playlist, with super specific songs that I wanted played at odd times. He killed it all. Super obscure video game song in a specific version? Say less, Ross can do it. My husband's family wanted a few foreign songs played and Ross had it running like he spoke the language! Just such a cool guy. Was really prompt with all our meetings, has a great voice when making announcements. No complaints. Thank you for absolutely everything!

Incredible Entertainment

Music in Motion brought IT!
Ross took the time to get to know us. Our likes and dislikes, the feel for our venue. He was engaging, energetic and the vibe he has is incredible! Last, but certainly not least, MC, Gerald!
If you're looking for entertainment for your next party, you don't need to look any further!

This is the DJ you want!

Ross is an amazing DJ but an even better person. We had some issues with other vendors not being able to make it the week of and Ross was able to put us into contact with reputable vendors to help us out. The website for picking songs was perfect in getting organized and helping with a timeline and all other aspects of the reception. We also had lighting around the venue and a projected monogram for us. Dance floor was packed all night long and his energy is infectious. Never a bad time with MIM!

Best DJ ever! Keeps the dance floor full.

Ross absolutely nailed it! We hired him to DJ at our wedding and every one had a blast thanks to him! Our guests were dancing all night. We were impressed with him from our first meeting. He took the time to get to know us and understand the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding reception. The communication throughout the process was excellent. We always felt heard and knew that we were in good hands. Thank you so much Ross! You made our wedding night the party we wanted.

Hire Music and Motion for your Event

Ross and the crew were the best fit for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Ross was super kind and helpful every step of the way and he didn't lie when he said they were going to make the day memorable by bringing the fun! Ross was wonderful to work with, he has experience with Jewish weddings/events which was a must for me, he played excellent music, was relatable, high energy, and easy to work with. I would absolutely use him again!

Ross and his team provide first class service and production experience! They are much more than a music and entertainment company. They will help create the desired look and feel of the event you want to create with lighting, furniture, etc. We have used them for 2 different events at two different venues and both times he brought the vision and flow of our parties to life!

The best dj ever!

It's time for another "Wedding Shout-out!!"
I have to admit when Jess and Chris told me they wanted a DJ and not a band for their wedding I was a wee bit nervous. But BOY!!! Was I PLEASANTLY surprised!!!! Ross Reimer and his amazing guys, Jamez and G kept the party going ALL NIGHT LONG!!! This was truly the first time I was at a wedding where everyone was dancing til 1 in the morning!! Not only that, Ross took the time to meet with the kids and plan an evening which included both cultures into the mix of things. I couldn't be any happier with them and highly recommend Music In Motion for your next big affair!!

Fantastic DJ - Great music and games for the kids

Thrilled I made the choice to go with Music In Motion for a family bat mitzvah. Ross was a lifesaver. I was about to hire a party planner because I was overwhelmed with things to do the month before our event. But, I didn’t. Ross gave me confidence that he could take care of finding a dance floor, coordinating with our venue, planning lighting, music and many other party items. He was very proactive, trustworthy and was an overall lifesaver. The kids had a great time dancing and playing games.

The Best DJ I have ever hired

Hiring Ross Reimer for our son's Bar Mitzvah was the BEST decision we have ever done. The night wouldn't be that successful if it wasn't Ross. He was very professional, easy to work, listens and delivers. Our guests refused to leave the dancing floor. We had a great time. I also cannot thank enough to Ross's emcee, LUTALO. Such an amazing guy. He was top of everything. Kids had lots of fun and kept guests on the dancing floor all the time. I'll definitely work with them in 4 years for my other son's Bar Mitzvah. Thank you, thank you. You are the BEST!!!

Look no further - the best of the best!

If you are searching for a DJ for your upcoming event, look no further – seriously! We cannot imagine our wedding without Ross the Boss. From Ross’s endless recommendations to ensure our day was absolutely perfect, to his top of the line equipment (sound systems, truss towers and subwoofer), our day far exceeded our expectations. Jamez joined Ross as the emcee and dancer and was also nothing short of amazing.

As soon as our first dances ended, our double sized dance floor was packed all night long! Both of their electric personalities and knowledge of all of today’s hits with the mix of wedding classics ensured all ages felt comfortable hitting the dance floor and didn’t leave.

On top of everything, the online music portal/planning page is an additional bonus that helps with ease of planning during a hectic time – a HUGE help for the stressed out bride!

Excellent Wedding DJ!

As a fellow musician with many common associates, Ross and I hit it off right away. He was the right man for the job, and did his job very well. My daughter provided the main portion of his playlist through his website, and I loved what he played on his own. Created the party we wanted - not waht everyone else had!

Music in Motion created amazing lighting, furniture, music and overall atmosphere for our party and it was AMAZING! Music In Motion made our night!

We used Music In Motion for our wedding a few weeks ago and have nothing but good things to say! Ross was our DJ and from the first meeting he was very personable and truly seemed excited about making our night everything we wanted it to be. In this first meeting, he showed us their online planning tool that you have access to, so you are able to select all of the songs you want throughout the night, not only for special dances, etc., but for open dance as well. It helped make planning our day so much easier!

When it came to the big day, in addition to rocking our reception, Ross was more than happy to provide the music and microphones needed for our ceremony as well. The ceremony was perfect and the reception was a blast!! There was a good variety of music to appeal to our guests of all ages and I honestly can't remember a point in the night where our dance floor wasn't packed. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding (or any other event!) I highly recommend Music In Motion!

Ross the Boss is the man!

I used Music in Motion as a recommendation from a friend. I had Ross as my DJ and I was absolutely blown away from the first point of contact to the follow up after the wedding, including everything in between. Music in Motion has a computer software where you can load all your songs in, schedule a timeline, list songs for certain events, etc. It gives you step by step instructions to make sure there isn't anything you miss for the big day. The DJ then reviews this with you to make sure everything is all set.

Ross did the music for our ceremony as well as our reception. The ceremony was perfect as he set up mics for all parties, and the reception was an absolute party. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and he really read the crowd well to make sure the right music was playing at all times. If you're looking for a dj that can blend music seamlessly, scratch tracks, and make your guest stay on the dance floor, Ross is your guy. 5 out of 5 and highly recommend.

Ross is extremely professional and accommodating. He gets an idea of what you want and makes appropriate suggestions, but ultimately listens to what you are seeking. Ross sets up your very own account that you or others can make requests on.

Best of all, he gets an idea of who you and his audience are and plays appropriate music accordingly in addition to instantaneous requests. Ross is pleasing and engaging. We will use him for all future events!

Ross and his crew were amazing! We couldn't have been happier with them and the services they provided! The music was perfect and all of the kids and adults were on the dance floor the whole time! Many of the kids at our daughters Bat Mitzvah said it was one of the best nights of their lives.
The night ran smoothly and we didn't have to stress about anything because Ross was so on top of it all! We highly reccommend them for any party. The dancers and M.C. rocked it!

We were in a bind for a DJ for our Chanukah party and Ross was so accommodating and came through for us. Being a preschool aged program, Ross was very mindful of easing the children into the party environment. The dance floor busy all night with children AND adults. Ross was amazing on the mic and kept the party flowing. He was also very easy to work with and met all of our requests. We would be thrilled to have Music in Motion at a future event! Ross is unbelievable! I had no idea what to expect upon booking, but he was most definitely the best part of the party. His MC, Gerald, was an unreal dancer. We were all hoping to dance with him and he got the party grooving! Ross played all the songs we requested, but what made him even more special, is that he somehow knew what other songs we would love. He must have known that based those on the songs we requested. He clearly put a lot of thought into it. Every song he played was amazing and made you want to dance! Ross also helped my husband with the slideshow and ensured that it went off without a hitch. He was instrumental in every way. Ross made our party....he was the best part of it and I would never use anyone else.

Ross was the DJ for my graduation 2 weeks ago and he COMPLETELY ROCKED the party!!! All my guests at still talking about how this party was one of the greatest and how great Ross was! He engaged with my guests and I greatly appreciate him for that. He was also very reliable and trustworthy during the planning process. I was not worried about anything! We've used Music in Motion the last two years for our company's Christmas party, and both years they've provided first class entertainment. This year, Ross went above and beyond what one would expect. The dance floor was filled much of the night, and some brave souls even belted out a song or two. They are excellent. They know how to work a crowd. Our crowd was a tough one because they were competing with an outdoor park/indoor arcade on a nice day and they still managed to get people on the dance floor.

Before meeting with Ross I meet with several other DJs. When we first met Ross I knew instantly that we wanted to book him. He is so enthusiastic, fun, and has a great business. My wedding was this past weekend and he did an amazing job! My husband is latino and Ross took the time to find songs to play from back in his country El Salvador, which these are not easy to find and takes some planning. Everyone kept raving about the dj and how great the music was. He really started the party and kept it going. He even speaks awesome spanish! Can roll his r's, which I can't even do.
My husband is so picky with music and who the DJ is. However, he thought Ross was the perfect DJ and was so impressed! Thank you Ross, you really helped make our wedding awesome!!!! Book him!!!!

Ross was absolutely wonderful to work with. His website is fantastic. We were able to choose from thousands of songs for our wedding night. In person, Ross was professional and really understood what we were looking for in a dj for our wedding night!

Ross provided music for our ceremony and reception. Everything that we requested was played. Our guests loved Ross and his enthusiasm during the reception. He got our guests excited and up and dancing.

He was flexible when we changed our grand entrance only minutes before we entered! It all worked out great!

We would definitely recommend recommend music in motion for your next event! We loved Ross, he was fantastic :)

Ross' energy is contagious and he really is the life of the party. He knows what to do in any situation and can take lead on everything with little instruction.

Music in Motion, Ross Reimer, was spectacular!!!! From the beginning of planning to the end of providing music/DJ and MC, he went over our expectations. Our dance floor was hopping and our guests all wanted to know his name for future. Not only did Ross provide the DJ and MC, he provided the lighting and all sound equipment. Ross met with us multiple times to make sure of his placement of himself and equipment, to making sure all electrical was there for him, and met with us several times prior to my daughter's wedding, to make sure all went smoothly. Ross worked so well with all of our vendors to make sure our wedding was amazing! Ross played music well past 1:00 am and kept our guests dancing. He is a pure gentleman and professional. We have had Ross from Music in Motion DJ our last 4-5 Corporate Summer Events. He always does a great job for the 1000+ people onsite, and we look forward to working with him in the future.

Ross did an outstanding job for my son's wedding. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the closing of the night. All ages were dancing!! He was extremely professional and flexible. I would highly recommend him . He made our special event an exceptional memory. Thank you Ross!!!
