Vivien was attentive, sweet and knowledgeable. Her flute playing far surpassed anything I could have imagined walking down the aisle to, it was exquisite and beautiful. She not only was flexible with the unbelievable amount of changes that happened, but kept a smile on her face and made me feel at ease knowing the music was one worry I no longer had. She was able to gauge the crowd to keep the party on track. She took charge when needed but kept me in the loop with questions about how and when to move to the next part of the reception. She is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone for any party or event needing an MC/DJ, and if you need a flutist she is the go to girl! I am so blessed to have found her!

I am so very happy that I found Music For Every Occasion. It was absolutely more than I could have imagined. They were so so wonderful and did a stellar job. I am so happy that we had the instrumentalists at my wedding. we had the three string trio and as I walked down the aisle and listened to them playing I knew I made the right choice and I am forever grateful. Vivien was amazing to work with. So attentive to my needs and very specific requests for customized music. She was always pleasant and professional whenever we spoke and just is the nicest human being in existence. Our three musicians were glorious and did a fabulous job of learning the Christian hymns we requested. You will truly be happy when you choose them. The price point was just right as well!

Music for Every Occasion provided music for our poolside wedding in Wilton Manors, FL, and it was perfect. Vivian and the Flute/Clarinet Duo was the perfect match for our wedding. Vivian was so cooperative and responsive to all of our requests. I am a musician and was a band director in Northern Wisconsin a long time ago. I then became a music administrator and worked at the Chicago Symphony, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Florida Philharmonic and I let Vivian know that... didn't want her to be overwhelmed in that there would be guests from all of those organizations. And, she stepped up to the task and did a great job! She arranged duos of our favorite pop songs and also added the classical selections I really wanted included. The duo was great and we greatly appreciate their effort and professionalism! Thanks for the memories! And, the best of luck in your musical future... you're both pros! Love, Terry and Fred

We hired Vivien to play for our outdoor wedding ceremony in Palm Beach. Throughout the entire process, Vivien was a true professional. She offered advice on music selection, was very responsive, and played wonderfully during our ceremony. I would happily recommend Vivien's musical services to friends and strangers.

From the first telephone conversation to the follow-up after my daughter's wedding Vivien was an absolute joy! We were not well educated on music and simply told Vivien the weddings theme and the tone we would like to project. The music she chose was absolutely PERFECT! I was referred to Vivien Li from Music for Every Occasion by the music department of Florida Atlantic University when searching for a musician for my daughter's wedding. Vivien was lovely on the phone and also provided information to me via e-mail and referred me to the website. My daughter selected music from Pride and Prejudice as well as classical pieces and hymns. Vivien & Scott, a most talented pianist came to the rehearsal and were absolutely a delight to work with. We had a very small area at the tiny chapel and they were so flexible and worked wonderfully with our Pastor and his wife who was our coordinator. Vivien obtained the music we requested and Scott played every piece beautifully and because there was a bit of extra time after the ceremony they offered to take his keyboard and played beautifully until the DJ arrived at the barn for the reception. Vivien and Scott have a sweet spirit and demeanor and we were blessed to have had them share in our daughter's wedding. They were reasonable and most of all, talented and very flexible, making the entire experience truly a joy. I will call on Vivien anytime we are seeking live music for any event.

Vivien and her team of musicians went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day went as close to perfect as possible. They learned 3 new songs with only a week's notice (classical adaptations of 3 modern songs) and even sent us sound bytes of their rehearsals so that we could get a work-in-progress idea of how they would come out.
Throughout the whole process from selecting how many musicians we'd need to having the songs professionally arranged for them, Vivien was the picture of professionalism, working with us every step of the way.

Vivien was a joy to work with. We are an out of state couple which can complicate things a little. She was very responsive to our questions and concerns. She really worked to make this a unique experience to our wedding. I gave her very little notice of a special request song and her musicians learned it and executed it perfectly! I could not be happier with the quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value and flexibility from both Vivien and her musicians. I booked the string trio (violin, viola, cello) for ceremony music at my wedding and they were fantastic! I consider booking the trio one of my best wedding accomplishments.
The group arrived early and were set up and ready to play which relieved a lot of stress for me.
Vivien was also very helpful and spoke to the Officiant to discuss music cues since I was clueless about the process. She made sure the music flowed beautifully and the musicians transitioned from song to song seamlessly.
I also lucked out with this company because this was the ONLY affordable group I found after I received quotes from several classical duets and trios.
I wrote a novel length thank you to Vivien after my wedding bc I was so happy with the musicians. I would highly recommend them in a heart beat.

I often hold corporate events and have used Vivien from Music for Every Occasion many times. Vivien responds to emails and phone calls promptly. On the day of the event, she is punctual, dressed appropriately, and well-prepared. She is professional in her demeanor and flexible and adaptable with last-minute scheduling issues. Regardless of whether she is performing as a soloist or with an ensemble, her performances have consistently exceeded expectations. On occasion I've had to request pieces that are not standard; Vivien was very accommodating and arranged the pieces that I requested. I will continue to use Music for Every Occasion for all my future events.

We were married at Stranahan House on Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale on March 18,2016. About six months before the wedding, I started to look for musicians on line. I already knew what I wanted: classical music, specifically Bach, Handel and Mouret.

I contacted Vivien Li via email and received a very prompt response. She knew what I wanted and offered a few great suggestions. Over the next several months, she gladly answered all my questions each time I thought of new ones. I requested a flute and clarinet in the beginning but later increased the number of musicians to include a bassoon and oboe. She took care of everything. On our wedding day, the music was glorious. Vivien played everything I had asked for . The professionalism, skill level and finesse of Music For Every Occasion completely satisfied us. Many guest complimented the musicians and the choices played. A mere " thank you" seems insufficient. What Vivien and her friends provided was excellent and lent an air of dignity
and grace to our wedding. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
