Whats for dessert... CHEESECAKE!
We had a two tiered wedding cake, and six varieties of full sized Cheesecake cupcakes for our guests.
The guests were raving about how delicious the Cheesecake was... absolutely a "taste bud delight" 😋

Amazing Product and Service!

Being this is a second wedding for both of us, we don't feel tied to the "traditional" wedding protocol. Neither of us likes wedding cake that much, but we love cheesecake. We are planning a dessert buffet of a dozen cheesecakes, cookies, bars, and chocolates at our formal reception.
Muddy Paws cheesecake tastes amazing and looks pretty too. Their service has been fantastic. The prices are great. After choosing the flavors, we don't have to go through a bazillion options to choose a design like you would for a traditional cake. Fewer decisions = happy couple!

Elegant & Delicious

My husband and I are not cake people, so we were looking for other options. We came across Muddy Paws and decided to at least try a sample. Between it melting in our mouths and the kindness and thoroughness of our time with Meg, we knew it was the direction we wanted to go. We could not have been happier. It looked beautiful, was delicious, and we're so excited that we had leftovers to bring home.

Amazing!!! Muddy Paws Cheesecake is to die for! They have so many flavors to choose from so we did a cheesecake dessert bar/buffet which was a hit. Even people who said they don't like cheesecake liked it! We actually tried several places for dessert and well we loved the cheesecake and they were actually the best priced so couldn't beat that.

o We would highly recommend Muddy Paws Cheesecake for wedding receptions! The cheesecake was great and looked amazing! Putting a cheesecake at the center of each table was such a great alternative to expensive centerpieces. We were also able to provide our guests with variety by placing a flavor at each table and the cost was very affordable compared to numerous other bakeries we contacted. We worked with Meg and Tami. Both provided great customer service and were easy to work with. They also did an amazing job of setting up and coordinating with the venue without any work on our part. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely recommend to others.

This is hands down the BEST CHEESECAKE I HAVE EVER TASTED! All my quests were super excited that I was having cheesecake rather then regular cake. I loved the cheesecakes and so did everyone. There was none to spare!

They were amazing not too pricey cheese cake tasted so good you couldn't tell it was gluten free at all!

Muddy Paws was wonderful to work with! Brian and I were able to set up an appointment and taste test cheesecake before committing to them. We picked out 5 different flavors and used them as centerpieces for our tables. This was a great way to get dessert on the table not have to worry about creating centerpieces! Everyone raved about how delicious the cheesecake was and I heard that several people went to multiple tables asking to try other flavors. What a great way for guests to get up and mingle with each other! Tami was very helpful and responsive when I e-mailed Muddy Paws! Muddy Paws also delivered and set up the cheesecakes before the reception started! Overall it was a great experience and would greatly recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I always joked that we would have cheesecake at our wedding. Neither one of us is a big cake fan. Turns out that making our cheesecake joke a reality was easy with Muddy Paws Cheesecake.

Pros of serving cheesecake instead of wedding cake: They have TONS of flavors to choose from — they add new ones all the time; Muddy Paws offers allergy- and diabetic-friendly options — gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan (read: also lactose-free); Cheesecake is WAY less expensive than cake because the main cake cost is decoration; Cheesecake keeps better in the freezer than regular cake (for those who want to freeze their top layer); And, did I mention, you’re getting cheesecake? I think we can all agree cheesecake is better than regular cake — it’s dessert made with cheese!

Muddy Paws also provides stands and utensils. We had seven or more flavors of cheesecake, which we opted to slice into smaller pieces so people could try different flavors. Overall, a big success!

We had a great experience with Muddy Paws and I would totally use them again if I could. Maybe I’ll order some cheesecake for my birthday …

We ordered cupcake minis for our guests and got a 7" for our cake and I can't say enough how much I love their cheesecake! My mom convinced me that not everyone would eat dessert because we weren't having regular cake, and boy was she wrong. Maybe it was the irresistible flavors (butterfinger; caramel swirl; raspberry swirl...), but I didn't order enough and apparently people took more than one so a lot of guests didn't get one - learn from my mistake and order too much! Worst case you go home with extras and that's not a bad deal either! Tami is amazing to work with and the delivery service is well worth it to make sure everything is set up nicely and kept cool until serving time.

There's two things I love in life, hearts and cheesecake..... Well and of course my new husband.... but seriously hearts and cheesecake. Muddy Paws were able to combine these two to have individual heart shaped cheesecakes for all of our guests to enjoy. We couldn't be happier to have chosen to go the cheesecake route as several guests pointed out it was a great way to do the deserts. We definitely recommend going this route if you are on the fence which direction to go.

My sister's wedding was 3 months ago and people are STILL talking about the cheesecakes!! They were AMAZING! I honestly don't know how my sister and brother-in-law narrowed down all of the flavors to only 18! But all of the ones they picked were a hit! I wish I would've had business cards and fliers at the wedding, because EVERYONE was asking where we got them. I would definitely recommend going this route for your wedding and there's no one better to go with!

Great help from Tammi picking out flavors and suggestions! We did the whole cheesecakes and did 8 flavors but 12 cheesecakes for 180 guests. Turtle was by far the favorite! Pumpkin sadly at a fall wedding was least consumed. Oreo was another popular and Key Lime along with Raspberry Swirl. All the help from Muddy Paws was great and they have fair pricing! Felt confident and made all payments over the phone so didn't need to drive there. They even gave us a few cheesecake slices when we met for a consultation. They are always giving back to their local community as well. Will be referring future brides here! If you want cheesecake at your wedding, look no where else!

Hands down the best wedding cake ever! Tami and her team were wonderful to work with. We ordered 14 different flavors for our wedding and each were delicious. Rich, creamy cheesecakes that were raved about by all our guests. Family and friends were talking about the cheesecakes for days after - and asking for leftovers. There were only 8 slices left! I think that means they liked the cheesecake :)

Best wedding cake idea ever! We had a tiered cheesecake, for that traditional "wedding cake" look, and also an assortment of cheesecakes on the table for guests to help themselves. The tiered cake was so pretty, and everything was delicious! Best cheesecake I've ever had. The crew at Muddy Paws was easy to work with and helped us get everything set up exactly how we wanted it. And, most importantly, the guests loved it!

The women at Muddy Paws were incredibly flexible, understanding, and supportive of my wedding. I absolutely LOVED the cheesecake stands I rented and the wedding guests raved about the cheesecakes. I have to limit my sugar intake so for our cake we went with a sugar free cheesecake with a nut crust from Muddy Paws. It was beautiful and delicious!

Tami was wonderful to work with. She was responsive to our needs and was able to do everything that we asked, and on budget! Many people think cheesecake would be more expensive, but it is highly competitive, if not cheaper. Traditional wedding cakes are drab and boring, and often do not taste that great. Enter Muddy Paws! More than 200 flavors to choose from (specialty flavors are more expensive) and in many sizes. I have no hesitations recommending Muddy Paws to anyone!

The Cheesecake was amazing. We did a 3 tier New York cheesecake with chocolate covered strawberries as our cake topper. We also had 14 different flavors of cheesecake as other options for our guest. Everything was beautifully set-up and decorated.

Easiest vendor to work with! Tami was very friendly and welcoming, and full of great ideas! Every single flavor we chose was delicious!! They offer a great variety of gluten-free options (any flavor you get, you can also get in gluten-free)-- definitely a plus! I can't wait for our 1 year anniversary to have another taste of Tami's yummy strawberry lemonade cheesecake to celebrate!

I can't say enough great things about Muddy Paws! Neither my husband nor I really care for regular cake. We'd had Muddy Paws before and loved it, so going with them for our wedding was an easy choice! They had them displayed beautifully at our reception. So many great flavors, too - especially the custom one they made with Reese's Pieces, which is my husband's favorite candy. Our guests raved about it, and I'd recommend them to anyone!

The ladies were great! From the first time that I called to when I watched them walk my cheesecakes into the hall! The table was beautiful with all 23 cheesecakes! Could not have asked for better service and cheesecake! It was amazing and worth every penny that we spent!

My husband and I spent months debating what we should do for dessert since I'm not a big fan of cake. I tried one of their samples at a wedding show and that was the perfect solution! We were able to choose multiple flavors and they even had gluten free recipes which was important as we had several guests that couldn't otherwise eat the dessert. We worked with Amy and she was so great! She gave us fun display ideas too so we were beyond thrilled. The guests were so glad they got to choose what they wanted for dessert and it was a fun alternative to the formal wedding cake.

Amazing! Everyone is still talking about the cheesecakes at our wedding. My husband and I have seen so many wedding cakes go uneaten and we were determined to offer something tasty to our guests. Muddy Paws Cheesecakes was a no-brainer for us. This was my favorite part of our reception. I barely ate any dinner but made sure I ate plenty of cheesecake! The cost actually ended up being less than if we had gotten a traditional wedding cake and we had 3 full cheesecakes left over (fine with me!!).

We opted to have cheesecakes instead of the tradional wedding cake. It was a HUGE hit! All of our guests really enjoyed having something different... nobody passed up a slice! The price was way more affordable then a regular wedding cake. My husband and I had our own cake that we cut into and saved. It wasn't messy and the taste was AMAZING! Plus they have TONS of flavors to choose from.

Best 'wedding cake' ever! We were surprised that we had some left over (though my husband and I really don't mind!) Our guests are still raving about it. We aren't really cake-eaters, so this was the perfect alternative to the traditional wedding cake. If you want something that tastes incredible, go with Muddy Paws! WOW! Muddy Paws was a huge hit at our wedding. People still comment months later about how pretty the display was & how amazing the various flavors tasted. I remember during dinner, people noticed the array of cheesecakes & actually ate LESS food to save room for dessert. I'm so glad we had cheesecakes & skipped the traditional wedding cake.

We worked with Amy at Muddy Paws. Muddy Paws did an excellent job! We did cheesecakes as our centerpieces with a small tiered cake for the wedding party. Amy did a nice job going over the options and they even gave us some samples to help us decide on flavors - they have a ton of options so it was really nice to pick something unique and tailored to us - that was a huge plus! The cakes turned out beautifully. The guests were extremely pleased - and we heard all about it which was great. Muddy Paws took care of all setup and delivery and they decorated the cakes beautifully; using guidance from us but really a lot of it is just them knowing what looks good. We weren't huge cake/dessert fans but both John and I love cheesecake so this option just made sense. The price was really reasonable considering how much cake we got. When we first thought about cheesecakes we just figured they would be WAY to expensive but they weren't at all so I am really glad we looked into it. They were very easy to work with and the cakes were a huge success - thank you Muddy Paws (and Amy)!

We had around 20 different flavors of cheescake from Muddy Paws and by the end of the night they were all gone. Everybody loved the cheesecake at our wedding.

Muddy Paws was a great choice for our wedding dessert! Everyone raved about the cheesecake and we were happy because we were still able to have a three-tiered wedding cheesecake to make it feel traditional, but we also had 16 or so other flavors that people could choose from! It was an extremely fun way to do dessert - and Muddy Paws was very flexible to any ideas we had about presentation. They were extremely nice to work with, and everyone I ever spoke to on the phone or in person from Muddy Paws was very friendly and personable. We highly recommend Muddy Paws!

I did not personally use Muddy Paws for my wedding, but I just had to put in my two cents. This is absolutely by far the BEST cheesecake I have ever tasted. If you are a cheesecake fan, these are the folks for you!!!

I loved using wedding paws cheesecake for our wedding cakes! They were a huge hit with our guests who loved the variety and layout of of our cakes.

I was able to take a group of friends and sample several cakes before the wedding to make my choice and I wouldn't have chosen anyone else. The wedding coordinator and staff were friendly and helpful, and made the decision-making so much easier as they have so many cakes to choose from!

Of course we went with a few classics, but I highly recommend the Muddy Paws variety as well as the Reese's peanut butter cup!!

Tammy, the owner and wedding consultant, took the time to share her portfolio with my fiance and I upon our first meeting. She takes her work very seriously, only books one wedding per weekend, and gives your wedding her undivided attention that weekend. Once we decided on Muddy Paws, Tammy put a plan together for us for the display of the cakes. She told us how many tables she would need, and we reserved the cake displays, and trays that we liked best. She even took the time to decorate our cakes upon arriving at our reception site. All we had to do was provide some extra flowers, and she made the spread look irresistible- as if cheesecake isn't irresistible enough. It was my husband's dream to have cheesecake at our wedding, and Muddy Paws surpassed all expectations!

The cheesecakes taste incredible, they have 180 flavors so you can totally customize your picks, and my guests raved about them!! What a great way to be unique while giving guests something they will love. Plus the Muddy Paws staff are wonderful and very experienced and know how to make your day very special.

We ordered a variety of cheesecakes from Muddy Paws to serve as a dessert buffet at our wedding, and they were a total hit!! I first learned about Muddy Paws at the Wedding Fair, and I knew my husband would LOVE the concept of serving cheesecake at the wedding, as we are both cheesecake lovers and neither of us wanted to do a traditional cake. When we went into Muddy Paws for a consultation the cheesecake they served us was to die for! All they have to do is give you a bite. No additional sales pitch necessary. The per-person price to serve their cheesecake was also dramatically cheaper than ordering dessert through our wedding caterer, so we were very pleased to have such a quality dessert item for such a reasonable price! We had a little trouble with email communication being consistent, but ultimately when we got close to the wedding date they were very responsive and helpful. They delivered the cheesecake on time and set them out beautifully on our dessert table, along with little cards indicating the different flavors we had selected. We have a few guests who are gluten and dairy free, and they were over the moon when they learned that we had included a gluten and dairy free cheesecake in our spread. Guests kept going back for more until there wasn't a bite left! We are very pleased that we chose Muddy Paws for our wedding and will be returning customers for future special occasions :D:D!

Muddy Paws cheesecake was definitely the right dessert choice for my wedding. Their cheesecakes come in countless flavors and varieties and were top of the line quality. My father, who can't stand anything resembling cheesecake, liked it so much that he had two slices (and then stole some leftovers for later). The cheesecake was a big hit!

Tami at Muddy Paws is passionate about her business and it shows through her cheesecake works of art. We had Turtle cheesecake for our wedding and couldn't have been more pleased with the quality and presentation. Muddy Paws fills your order, then freezes the cakes for pickup at anytime. Our cakes had a 4 hour car ride home, then were in a freezer for another 3 weeks, then were transported 1 hour to our reception venue. After all this, the cake slices were perfect the day of the wedding! Our guests loved it and so did we!

Muddy Paws did a fabulous job with our cheesecakes. They were very easy to work with and the cakes were delicious. We opted for the centerpiece cakes and got rave reviews from our guests. Their prices were very good considering that it would have cost us nearly $500 more to do centerpiece cakes from Buttercream. And who doesn't like cheesecake?!

We needed a gluten-free wedding cake and it was really difficult to find a cake that would fit this need. Muddy Paws offers GF cheesecakes for a reasonable price and it tastes no different from their regular flavors. Fantastic!!

They don't do tasting for gluten-free cakes, so I left my fiance at home and took a friend with me for the tasting. It was great that they offered this service.

In addition, the cheesecake looked lovely and our guests enjoyed the variety of flavors we were able to offer them. Communication with the staff at Muddy Paws was fantastic, they were responsive to email questions, and were accommodating to all of our special dietary restrictions. They put flowers on the cake in a pretty fashion at no extra charge beyond the delivery charge. Also included at no extra cost were labels of what types of cheesecakes we had to clue our guests into the flavors. (Leftover cheesecake can be frozen for your enjoyment after the wedding, too!)

In short, if you want something a bit different from a traditional cake or you need a delicious gluten-free cake option, I cannot recommend Muddy Paws enough.

We wanted to go non traditional with our cake and opted for a cheesecake buffet for dessert. The owner of Muddy paws allowed my husband and I to come in, along with my personal attendant and taste cakes and go over the information. On the day of the wedding they delivered the cakes and set them up at the venue, for a nominal fee. Well worth the money and delicious- we even ordered extra for gift opening the next day.

My husband and I went to a wedding that served Muddy Paws cheesecake for dessert and we knew we had to have it for our own wedding. The cheesecake was amazing! Such a big hit among our guests. Meg & Tami were wonderful to work with and provided plenty of samples during our consultation. Prices were very affordable. What can I say, other than DELICIOUS! We got 17 different cheese cakes, cut into 16th's and had about 160 guests. 1 for each table plus head table. Each table had a different flavor so It was fun to see our guests mingle for the flavors they wanted! Set out frozen as our centerpieces, they thawed nicely during the social hour and dinner! We were able to refreeze left overs (and there was plenty left over!) I wound up giving away a lot of cheese cake to family at the end of the night and they LOVED that! :) Great people to work with.

The Cheesecake was a huge hit and very delicious!! We actually plan on using Muddy Paws for more of our special events! We wanted something less traditional for our cake and we are both huge cheesecake lovers. When a coworker told me about Muddy Paws I new I had to check them out. I was surprised to learn that it cost less than traditional wedding cake!

They recently moved their business into a wholesale/warehouse building. It isn't the fanciest location, but the cheesecake is awesome!

They are flexible and offer a great variety of flavors. I had a cheesecake buffet at my wedding including vegan raspberry, raspberry swirl, recess peanut butter, espresso kahlua, and turtle flavors.

Everything was pre sliced, which meant we didn't have to pay a cake cutting fee at our venue.

The only drawback is that the building is hard to find. Make sure the person picking up your cake or returning rented stands has good directions and a phone number to call if they get lost!

The most professional vendor we used on our wedding day. Four hours before my wedding I realized that I ordered one less cake than actually needed. I called Amy and she remedied the problem immediately. I was totally confident in MP's ability to deliver, and deliver they did!!!

This was an amazing deal - the cheesecake was delicious and the price was much less than a traditional wedding cake. We used some flowers from our florist to decorate one of the cakes and put it on a stand provided by Muddy Paws, which helped it look more like a traditional wedding cake, if that is important to you. Our guests loved it and some relatives still talk about the delicious cheesecake years later.

They have a HUGE selection of flavors, and even have a suggestion box for flavors their customers would like to try. They have lots of pictures on their website of weddings they've done, which was helpful to me. I met with Amy and she was very friendly and easy to get along with. Muddy paws cheesecake was very unique and contemporary. They have a number of different wedding cake ideas that will give a special touch to your reception. If you don't want to do cake, they have cheekecake cupcakes that make great deserts as well. We chose to do a cheesecake buffet with 8 different flavors of cheesecake (there are over 30 to choose from!) We did a two tier cake of our favorite flavors well. The bottom tier was my favorite and the top tier was my wife's. There are so many options to choose from and they did a great job setting up and making it a beautiful display for everyone to enjoy. Trust me, everyone will be talking about the cheesecake both because it's different and delicious.

I would highly recommend their cheesecake! They are so good. I didn't have to do anything but tell them what kind of cakes we wanted. We ended up using the cheesecakes as our centerpiece and saving quite a bit of $$ that way. We just added flowers petals on the table around it.

Neither of us are big cake people so we decided to go with a cheesecake. We found Muddy Paws when I was looking for a birthday cake. One of my favorite wedding vendors! They gave us awesome service every time we had contact with them, and they made things very, very easy. We didn't even see them on the wedding day - they were in and out of the reception site before we got in there. Everything looked great, and was set up just the way we wanted it to be. The cheesecakes were absolutely amazing - they tasted even better than we remembered from our tasting, and the guests were raving about the cheesecakes all night. We are still hearing about how great they were, 2 months after the wedding!

We found Muddy Paws at the Minneapolis bridal convention. We initially tried the raspberry swirl cheesecake and we were hooked! We then asked them to do our bride/groom cake for our 12/30/2017 wedding. We had the Espresso Kahlua on a bottom tier and the signature Mud Paw as the top tier. We also had them make the bride + groom strawberries to go on top. It turned out perfect and was extremely affordable at only $75 in total! Best of all, it was DELICIOUS! We couldn't have been happier with our decision. Thank you, Muddy Paws!! YUM!

Toni at Muddy Paws was wonderful. We had cheesecake center pieces at our wedding. They were AMAZING! The guests loved it! They went around and tasted all the flavors. Our own wedding cake was a gluten free/dairy free cheesecake to fit my dietary issues but you would never know it! My husband loved it and some of our guests who were vegan were able to have cake as well. This is a fun way to have cheesecake at the wedding.

The cheesecakes were excellent and were a big hit among the guests. We chose to have small cheesecakes at each table and a total of 4 flavors so guests could go around and share. Muddy Paws came and set everything up and all we needed to do was return the rented items within about 3 days. I didn't even see them, it just was perfect when I got there. A great alternative to white cake and easy to work with (plus about a million flavors to choose from!).

I loved Muddy Paws so much, I actually drove it from the Cities up to Duluth for my wedding! It was well worth it - the guests were quite pleased, it looked fantastic and traveled well. My only regret - the bride never got a piece! Make sure you sit down and eat your own wedding cake!

One of the best choices we made!

Our guests are still raving about the cheesecake! We went with the thinner slices (16/9" cheescake) and it was plenty for our guests. The espresso kahlua is a MUST and even something as simple as the raspberry swirl is just so delicious and indulgent. For those looking for an alternative to cupcakes/cake, Muddy paws is a wonderful (and affordable) option :)

We were so happy that we decided to go with cheesecakes instead of the traditional style. Our guests loved having options to choose from and we got to have fun flavors like Peanut Butter Porter, and Key Lime. By the time the reception was over, the cakes were long gone!

These cheesecakes are delicious! Everyone who works here is very friendly and they gave us lots of slices to take home after our tasting session. It was a little hard to get a hold of the catering coordinator and get the total/invoice info until two weeks before the wedding but everything worked out perfectly.

Muddy Paws Cheesecake tastes amazing! It was sometimes difficult to communicate with them, but overall we had an awesome experience. Our guests raved about all the different flavors to choose from. We are still eating leftovers a month after! I would definitely recommend this artisan cheesecake for any event!

The cheesecake was wonderful and several guests commented on how great it was to have something other than cake. Our tiered wedding cake looked beautiful - I was happy with everything.

Muddy Paws provides a consistent, quality product at competitive prices. The scheduling of the initial consultation was quick and efficient. The owner Tami was great at helping us figure out what we wanted and helping us do it within our budget. They deftly switched gears when later on we decided to have centerpieces instead of a cake table, and even gave us an amazing deal on cake stands and servers. So many unique flavors to choose from, which was very fun!

It would be nice if transactions could be handled online and not have to be done in person or by mail. Credit cards are not accepted for weddings. Every other wedding vendor, even very small one-person businesses, provides these conveniences. Also, when I paid for our order in person, I was not offered a receipt, I had to go back and ask for it. I think this should never happen in the wedding biz, ever.

Muddy Paws has an amazing and popular product and their brand, image, website, etc. should be updated to reflect this! Muddy Paws may have been founded in 1994, but the website and brochures don't need to be stuck there. Cheesecake is sexy, Muddy Paws! Work it a little! ;-) I believe their business could go gangbusters if a bit more resources were put toward updating their brand. Just my opinion!

Overall the cheesecake was good. We did a toppings bar, with all NY style cheesecakes. The delivery fee is outrageous. They mention over and over how this is actually cheaper than wedding cake, but that savings goes out the window with their delivery fee. I also had a 3 tiered, elaborate fondant decorated grooms cake from another venue served, and their delivery fee was 1/2 of what Muddy Paws charged. Which when you figured the cake delivery was way more involved is kinda crazy. ( I also believe they told me a different amount originally for a delivery fee, but since I did not have it in writing, I cannot prove it). I also was very frustrated to get there to drop off the ribbon for our cake and pay, only to find out they do not accept credit cards for wedding orders. I had previously ordered cheesecakes from them for other events and been able to use my card. So having to make a trip all the way to the bank in order to get cash was way more hassle then I wanted to deal with the day before my wedding. There also wasn't an easy way to get the ribbon off our top layer to cut into it, so it made for some interesting "cake cutting" moments.

The cake was delicious! We loved having a variety of flavors for our guest to choose from. During the planning process, it felt like there was a lot of missing 'holes.' They would not provide a contract, so I just saved every email communication I had with them! Although their email address didn't always work, either - which made that a little difficult. Other than that, the cake showed up and it tasted great.
