We hired Larry for our wedding, and it was the best decision! From our first call with him, he brought such great energy and we got along right away. He is super detail oriented, a great communicator and very organized which made us feel so comfortable and confident that everything would go off without a hitch on the day of. We truly could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, Much Music DJ was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. They took the time to understand our vision, helped us build the perfect playlist, and made sure every special moment — from our first dance to the last song of the night — was absolutely seamless.

The energy on the dance floor was incredible all night long. Guests are still telling us how much fun they had and how amazing the music was! Larry read the crowd perfectly and kept everyone dancing.

Beyond the music, the sound quality was flawless, announcements were clear and well-timed, and everything ran smoothly. We were able to relax and fully enjoy our day knowing we were in such capable hands.

I’m so glad we had DJ Larry in charge of music for our wedding! From start to finish, the music flowed seamlessly, even when some songs were in a different language. For the reception, we provided a bunch of our favorite songs and Larry turned them into a cohesive playlists that kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We also had a somewhat complicated game planned, but Larry emceed it flawlessly and our guests had a blast!

Exceptional!

Larry was incredible!!!
We had a lot of requests with the timing of our songs throughout our ceremony and he timed them perfectly.
We aren’t very flashy or loud people and our venue was small so he customized the vibe perfectly. He was thorough with his questions so he made sure we were all on the same page and he delivered our vision.
Very professional, kind and easy to work with!
He even took some pictures/videos of me walking down the aisle and of our first dance that were incredible.
On top of everything he was more affordable then other options we came across.
We cannot thank you enough Larry!!!

Larry and Paul were an absolute dream team as the MC and DJ for our wedding! They took our celebration to a whole new level and made it the best night of our lives. From start to finish, they delivered perfection and ensured our wedding was unforgettable for everyone there.

Paul, as the DJ, played every single song on our must-play list and seamlessly mixed them with the perfect tracks to keep the energy high all night long. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the very last—our guests couldn’t stop raving about how incredible the music was. He read the crowd perfectly, and every transition was spot on.

Upstate NY DJ Review

DJ Larry from Much Music was an amazing performer at our Jewish/Filipino wedding reception! He was very thorough in working with us and our wedding day coordinator on reception planning/timing. As a DJ, Larry had our guests of all ages on their feet all night including dancing to contemporary music, wedding classics and traditional music pieces such as for the Money Dance and Hora!

As bonuses, Larry served as a complimentary partial MC, making key announcements to our guests throughout the night, and Larry's wife hosted a photobooth (add-on service) which our guests loved as well.

Thanks Larry and Much Music for making our wedding reception highly memorable!

Highly Recommended!

I found Much Music DJ after an exhaustive research of various wedding websites. They were quick to respond and reasonably priced. My DJ was Patrick. He reached out to me a week before the wedding so we could go over details, flow, song choices etc...On the day of the event he was set up , ready to go well ahead of time and dressed very professionally! He played the songs we had requested but he also played songs to keep the crowd moving. DJ Patrick had a really good sense of the vibe in the room. My husband & I were very happy with him, but more importantly everyone enjoyed themselves, which is all that we wanted! I highly recommend DJ Patrick and Much Music DJ. You will not be disappointed!!!

DJ Larry is the GOAT

DJ Larry was absolutely phenomenal and I wish I could give him 6 stars! The sound quality for our ceremony/speeches was perfect, he was able to to work with our videographer to get excellent audio for the recording even though it was outside, and the music for our reception was exclusively bangers. And more importantly than any of that, Larry was a calm and friendly presence at our wedding. If you're looking for someone to do an amazing job with an equally amazing attitude, you gotta hire Larry.

Dj larry is a must!

I would just like to start by saying that when we hired DJ Larry, we knew we would be getting a level of professionalism that was unmatched by other DJs we had met with. He was charismatic, friendly and made it clear his primary concern was helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. My husband and I were not the most... mellow... when it came to the music at our wedding. I don't like slow songs, my husband loves rap, we both love pop punk and early 2000s songs and we both HATE the typical wedding music. Although it was clear that DJ Larry easily could have put together a typical wedding set list and just sprinkle in enough of our preferred music to make us satisfied/content, he went beyond that and created a customized set list/music experience that was tailored completely to us (and when I say tailored I mean so much so to have even included the song smelly cat from friends playing at the cocktail hour). I emailed DJ Larry after my wedding and told him that one of my only regrets was not expressing how amazing the music and entire experience was in person because he TRULY MADE THE WEDDING. We also used him for our photo booth which was super fun! He let us pick/create our own border and discussed the backdrop, location and set up in detail with us prior to the event. I unfortunately do not have as many photo booth pictures as I would have expected because I essentially never left the dance floor; I would tell myself ok next song I will get a drink... and then ANOTHER favorite song would come on... next song I will go to the photo booth... and then another cant miss song! Perhaps one of the best moments however came not when DJ Larry let me grab the mic and sing (which he did), but when I was doing my father daughter dance; I have social anxiety and was nervous for everyone to watch me dance for too long; not only was DJ Larry ready to fade the song sooner as discussed, but he also had his eyes glued to me during the entire song so that the moment I started to feel overwhelmed all I had to do was give him a subtle nod and he instantly transitioned the song without anyone realizing it had ended slightly earlier. Another incredible moment was when, for the cake cutting song, DJ Larry made sure to announce the song itself to everyone without us even mentioning anything because he knew it was a song my husband had wrote for me and wanted it to have the attention it deserved. My friends will not stop talking about the wedding and the music; my sister has repeatedly said she had more fun at my wedding than her own (despite currently being happily married). If you are able to book an event with DJ Larry do so immediately - you will NOT be disappointed. Words cannot express what an incredible night it was thanks to him.

An amazing DJ experience!

Our experience with Larry was beyond our expectations! The first time we spoke with him, we knew he would create an amazing music experience. Our guests never left the dance floor and we have received so many compliments about how we had the best wedding anyone has been to in a while! Larry was amazing about including all the music we wanted while tying in what our guests were clearly enjoying. Having our guests chant "one more song" at the end of the night was a true testament to Larry's DJ abilities. He really knows how to create an amazing party! Amazing DJ

Larry was the DJ for our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! His personality and also his sound equipment is what sold us when we were choosing a DJ - the ability to show pictures from the day was a nice touch that we hadn't seen before. We also went with the mojo;) Photo Booth that our guests really enjoyed. Our guests said that the music kept them dancing all night which was important to me, so I'm really glad he kept the party energized. He was also able to accommodate a special surprise for our guests which involved learning proper pronunciation to introduce a Peruvian cultural dance group, and I'm so pleased on how it all went. Would definitely recommend Larry for any special events!

I can't say enough GREAT things about Much Music, especially Larry! From the first phone call consultation to the end of our reception, he was spectacular in every sense. Communication was easy, quick, and any questions or concerns we had were answered! He provided us a music planner that had everything from the start of the ceremony to the last dance, to include music selection options. It was the key to stress free planning. We weren't very specific when it came to what music we wanted at our reception, and I'm glad. Our dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing time thanks to Larry, his stellar playlist and musical talent! These are professionals and they know exactly what they're doing. Can't recommend enough.

We hired DJ Larry for our wedding on September 9, 2022 and cannot recommend him enough! I knew he was our DJ from our initial phone call, he was very personable and you knew he wanted what was best for your special day. He knew our venue backwards and forwards and came more than prepared for our wedding. He had everyone up and dancing and really engaged with the guests. After the wedding several people came up to me and asked if it was my playlist he was playing, he was THAT good. He definitely understood our music taste and killed it with the "One Hit Wonders" list we requested him to put together.

Best Wedding Dj!

Larry was amazing to work with! He sent the paperwork right away and even provided a packet with a variety of songs to prep your wedding playlist! He was great with communication and if we wanted to touch base he responded fast and answered all questions. Our cocktail hour musician backed out on us at the last minute and Larry worked with us to figure out the music we wanted during that time. He provided an amazing playlist for our guests during the cocktail hour. We are so happy we chose Much Music as our wedding DJ. From the entrances into the wedding to the last song,Larry provided an upbeat energy and even the MC and photo booth attendant kept the night going. The dance floor was packed all night and he really listens to what beats you want on your big day. We sent a playlist with all different songs and Larry really knew when to play each song. The photobooth is a must add on and highly recommend choosing the triple platinum package. The pictures from the photobooth are top quality and Larry and his team make sure your guests make use of the photobooth. You don't just receive the copy of your guest photobooth strips, you get the full size individual picture which are a perfect add on to the thank you cards you send out. Highly recommend choosing Much Music you will be thrilled with the turn out.

You won't regret it!

Larry from Much Music DJ was a pleasure to work with. From when the contract was signed to the day of the wedding, he was always easy to contact, very knowledgeable when it came to mixing and understanding the BPM's to have a nice transition from one track to the other. He makes the song selection easy because he sends a planner with a large variety of songs in all the categories you'll need music for. We did the uplighting and the dry ice which set up a great look for our first dance and the rest of the night. He also provides an option to get a photo booth which we took and we're so glad we did because now we got a book full of memories. If you want to get your guests hyped up and having a good time, Much Music is the way to go!!!!

Best dj ever!

Larry Mulligan was the best DJ ever! We booked Much Music DJ for our wedding at Wallkill Golf Club in July 2022. After our first phone call, we knew immediately that we wanted to have him DJ our wedding. He is professional, has years of experience, and is so relaxed and chill, we loved his vibe! My husband and I both loved working with Larry! Picking our songs for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing was easy with Larry's platform. I felt like after Larry took a look at our song choices he knew exactly what to play all night. Our dance floor was PACKED as soon as he announced the floor was open! Larry read the crowd and knew exactly what to play next to keep the party going. We even had bartenders and servers come up to us and say, "This is definitely the most fun wedding we've had here and the most dancing we've ever seen." I even overheard our matrie'd say, "Now this is a wedding!" Towards the end of the night, one of our guest's even requested Larry's contact information so that she can cancel the DJ she originally had booked for her daughter's wedding and book Much Music DJ instead! Thank you Larry for everything, the night could not have been more perfect thanks to you and we highly recommend Larry for your wedding DJ!

My husband and I highly recommend Larry’s DJ services. Larry was extremely helpful to work with, he was very accommodating and professional. Get the party going!

Larry did both the ceremony and reception music for our wedding on 8/7/2021 and we were so happy working with him. He came highly recommended by our venue and I am so glad we picked him!

First off, he is incredibly easy to work with - funny, personable, detailed, and all transactions ran smoothly. Second, he had the perfect balance of being on the mic and actually allowing the guests to enjoy the music (A+ in my book). Third, we gave him some loose recommendations for music and allowed him to mostly create his own playlist which was perfect! He had a great mix of music that really kept people on the dance floor and partying all night.

Lastly, we did use one of his higher packages that included the photo booth and it was well worth it. Living close to NYC, I am used to seeing extremely high prices for DJs, especially weddings. I found that Larry had incredibly fair prices that were on the lower end of what I came across in my research and he included a lot in the packages. Our guests also loved the photo booth! Thank you DJ Larry for helping us throw one heck of a wedding!

Best experience ever

I cannot recommend Larry enough. He DJ'd my best friends wedding 10 years ago and I saved his number the entire time because he is what MADE the party what is was. He kept us dancing and laughing all night long. He was so flexible, easy to get ahold of, supportive, offered suggestions, just everything good. And you could tell HE was having a fun time too! I paid for the photo booth and I'm so glad I did because it was a hit! He helped me make all of my fun wedding games/songs come true. Dj larry is the best

DJ Larry is the best!!! Having a great DJ was one of our top three priorities and he really knocked it out of the park. He was phenomenal and we and our guests had so much fun on the dance floor. The song selections and transitions between songs were perfect. Larry is so experienced and such a kind, good dude that we never once worried about the DJ/music part of our wedding throughout the planning process and during our wedding day. We also did the mojo photo booth and it was a TON of fun! 10/10 we would highly recommend DJ Larry to everyone!!!

Planning a wedding in 6 months is stressful but Larry and Muchmusic DJ made it simple! Larry worked with us every step of the way including some very last minutes edits! We had Larry and Patrick as part of our big day and they were amazing! Our guests were out on the dance floor all night long! We are still receiving phone calls about how great the music was and how much they loved seeing our photos on the DJ booth! Professional, patient, absolutely awesome DJ

Larry at Much Music was an absolute dream to work with!!! From the first initial consult to talking 2 weeks prior to the event to the wedding day, he was nothing short of amazing, professional, patient, kind, organized, helpful.. I could go on forever. We had to postpone due to Covid and he worked with us changing the date of the wedding and keeping in touch for a whole extra year.

He sends you a booklet to fill out which is super helpful and keeps you organized!!

On the day of, he kept the energy up and knew how to read the crowd to keep people dancing. People keep asking who was our DJ, our guests loved his presence and spirit.

We would 10000% recommend Much Music for any of your DJ needs!

And the open air photo booth was a hit! Our guests loved it and had so much fun.

Simply the BEST!!

I don't know what I can say about Larry and Much Music DJ that hasn't been said already on here, but he was amazing! We're so glad that we worked with him for our wedding day. Larry really took the time to get to know us and understand what our music preferences were before the wedding and held our hand through some of the planning phases for our ceremony. We worked together to create the perfect playlist for the big day and he absolutely crushed it! He had our guests up and dancing the entire night until the last dance. Can’t thank you enough Larry… we hope to cross paths again some day!!

Amazing DJ!!

Much music was incredible! Both our venue and photographer recommended him and I can definitely see why! Larry was so great to work with! He made everything so easy by providing us with a booklet to fill out. He puts in so much time and effort in to make sure you have the perfect music for your special day. He met with us to get to know us and our music style and picked songs we loved and so did our guests! Everyone was up dancing all night. Many people came up to us after and comment on how fabulous our DJ was. He also uploaded a wedding photo of us onto his DJ booth for the reception! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Professional and overall great fun

Larry is awesome. From the beginning, he brought the energy and excitement to our day. His planning process is also so structured that he makes sure that you get exactly what you want for your wedding day. The music selection was on point and we danced the night away!

Amazing DJ

We knew we made the right choice with Larry when we met him at our venue and the staff enthusiastically greeted him.

He came recommended by the venue, having done multiple weddings there in the past, and since it was a different type of venue we wanted someone with experience there. Larry worked with us to make sure everything went exactly as planned.

We weren't sure what we wanted music wise but when we told Larry in convoluted broken sentences he replied "I'm getting a feeling for what you want.... like this?" And articulated exactly what we were looking for.

Larry was patient with our indecision, giving us time to pick all our songs.

On the day of our wedding my sisters surprised us with a crazy song compilation speech and slipped the music file to Larry and Patrick that morning. It went off so seamlessly you would have thought they had rehearsed!

We also used the photobooth through Much Music. It was so much fun and once it got going ran smoothly the entire reception!

Larry is the best

Larry is the ABSOLUTE best DJ. Whenever I would have a question he would respond to me so quickly and professionally. My venue was changed 3 times this past year all for different reasons but he would always be so nice and understanding. When we met with him before our wedding I could tell how genuine and sincere he was with everything he said, he wanted to make sure that my husband and I had the best day possible and he delivered completely. I don't think our day could of gone any better. He picked awesome music that everyone could dance too and he was also willing to take requests from people if they wanted to hear something specific. Patrick was awesome

Patrick was our DJ and absolutely nailed it!! He had an excellent mix for our reception dinner and was able to turn it up when it was time to dance. We had multiple locations and he had everything set up perfectly with staged microphones for speeches and outdoor speakers arranged for great coverage. The best dj

Much music is AMAZING! Larry helped us every step of the way. He took the time to understand what we wanted, and what we didn’t. The whole process was enjoyable from start to finish. Amazing Wedding Reception!

We hired Much Music for our wedding this October, and couldn't be happier with our decision! Our dance floor was packed the whole night, and our guests clearly all had a wonderful time. Patrick was our DJ, and he was extremely professional leading up to the wedding and for the entirety of the event. He was responsive to all communication, he elegantly worked in all of our requests, and he completely respected our (lengthy) do not play list. He also expertly deflected a situation where a guest who had not been invited to requested to give a toast. We can't thank Patrick and Much Music enough for being such fantastic and professional DJs. Larry is the best

Much Music DJ/Larry was on the list of preferred vendors at my wedding venue and was also recommended to me by my photographer. From the moment that I first came in contact with Larry - I knew that I was in good hands. He was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process and on the day of the wedding, he made the reception come alive. Based on my many song recommendations, as well as ones from my guests, he listened to each of the songs and put together a custom playlist for the cocktail hour, reception, and dinner. As the bride, you get a bit nervous about whether or not people are having a good time at the reception and to see everyone on the dance floor is so comforting. Most people ended up sitting only to eat, and when they had to rest their feet! Larry is not only a fantastic DJ, but he is an outstanding announcer. Everybody was complimenting him throughout the night, and he helped make my reception a great party! I would highly recommend Much Music DJ/Larry - you will be thankful that you did.

Amazing to work with and kept us all on the dance floor!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Larry and Much Music! We used Much Music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at an outdoor venue in the Catskills. He was amazing from our very first phone call all the way through the day of. All of his communication was incredibly prompt, and the planners he had us fill out helped us communicate what we wanted clearly. Larry was happy to incorporate personal family musical touches as well as our edited version of the song for our first dance. Since we were out of state he was incredibly flexible with doing our meetings over the phone. We left each phone call feeling confident that he knew exactly what he was doing and would make everything run beautifully. This was especially helpful since we did not have a day of coordinator. On the day of the wedding he got there several hours early and made sure everything was ready and good to go. He was friendly and upbeat, and a pleasure to work with in general. He also took pictures of the venue and us to have playing on his DJ booth, which was a great touch. During the reception Larry kept the music transitioning beautifully, and everyone was out on the dance floor and having a great time! We used Much Music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and photobooth and could not have more positive things to say about Larry. He was fantastic from day 1 - talked us through his style & made everything completely personalized to our taste. His music planners made us comfortable that we'd have enough control over the music as we wanted. On the day of he showed up early, made sure everything was set up and then the entire day went on without a single issue. The photobooth was a ton of fun & the props were awesome. Larry is the man your wedding needs!

LARRY IS AMAZING! He is so invested in making your day so special. Early in the planning process we knew he was going to be amazing. He is so personal and he has these awesome packets he has you fill out so he can get all the info, even asks things you did not even realize you need to decide on. This takes the burden off of figuring it out later. That was so helpful!

He also keeps the party going. On your wedding day, you don’t want to worry about flowing everything together, and Larry takes that role with pride! He got our dance floor going and it was never a dull moment. He worked with the wait staff to have a good flow of dance a little, sit down and eat a little, and repeat. It was perfect. He played such a wonderful variety of music and got everyone from my little cousins to my grandmother out on the dance floor.

We also have to brag because in our case specifically, we had a little accident when one of our guests fell and hurt themselves on the dance floor. Larry handled the situation perfectly turning the music down but still playing it for a little then slowly bringing the party back up! We got so many compliments from everyone about how much he was an all star on our special day!

Also, his set up is so nice! I love the lights! He’ll even include photos to make it even more your special day!

Perfection

Patrick was the DJ at my wedding on October 13th, 2018. Prior to my big day we linked up and discussed everything I wanted and he did everything I wanted and then some. I was worried about a few things because I naturally worry about everything and he assured me that everything would work out fine and it truly did. DJ O (Orel Longobardi) is THE BEST!!! Orel DJ'ed our tented wedding this past Saturday with down pouring rain. The music was right on point, he did great intro's and responded quickly to our last minute requests. There are too many great things to say about Larry! We hired him quite early in the process and were engaged so long that pretty much any DJ was available. What I particularly loved about Larry was his flexibility and customer service. Plus his pricing is very fair. He reply’s to emails so quickly too! He will answer a million questions with patience and just wants to make sure you’re happy. He also went the extra mile for us by sitting down with me to figure out a solution for my father daughter dance song that made me feel so much better. He went beyond what we hired him to do! We also got the photo booth which was a hit at the wedding. He brings a lot of fun props too. Much better than the lame pile I’ve seen at other weddings.

Additionally, Larry kept the party going all night. It was important to us to have the dance floor full all night and that was exactly how it went. I highly recommend Much Music!

I would definitely recommend Much Music! My husband and I had our wedding at Arrow Park Lake & Lodge, a location Larry was very familiar with. Larry with Much Music was amazing. My mom had recommended him to me as she had seen him work other parties in the area. He was really phenomenal with planning by phone and email since I live long distance, the day of the event he was great, everyone had an amazing time. He played just the right music that appealed to both the guests my own age to the guests my grandparents age. He also played the music for my ceremony which went off without a hitch. We also used the photobooth through Much Music and the guests really enjoyed that! Great DJ. Very accommodating. Larry was very easy to work with and met all our needs for our wedding. Originally there was supposed to be a separate room to dance in at the wedding but we reqested he move to the dining room while everyone was eating. He moved everything without a hitch. STOP READING THIS AND IMMEDIATELY CALL/EMAIL/STALK Larry before he gets booked by someone else!! This review is long overdue, we are over 6 weeks out from our perfect day and I’ve been meaning to find time to write this for weeks!! When we started planning we knew we wanted a DJ for the reception and our worst nightmare was to hire and boring, plays-all-the-songs-you-hear-at-every-wedding DJ. From the moment we went onto Larry’s website and saw his DJ booth and equipment, we knew before even speaking to him that he would be anything but average; the set-up was clean and modern and looked like something you’d see in an upscale nightclub! We set up a phone conversation with him and he was INSTANTLY likeable, genuine and made us feel like he wanted nothing more than to give us a fabulous experience. He invited us to meet with him at his home office and we fell even more in love with him in person! Larry is the kind of guy you don’t just want working your wedding, you want him attending. His fun-loving and charismatic personality shine through in his interaction with the crowd and you can tell that he is enjoying the time just as much as everyone else, which makes the fun infectious. He was very intuitive, very professional and I can’t say enough about how grateful we are that he took the time to get to know us a give us very personalized entertainment. Since my husband and I were paying for the majority of our wedding ourselves, we were also very conscious of our budget and we could not believe how competitive Larry’s pricing was for the level of sophisticated entertainment we got. ). a. I cannot tell you how many people came to us after our wedding telling us that our DJ was amazing. Larry is simply put, fantastic!!! He was so easy to work with and worth every penny. Larry DJed and provided microphones during the ceremony for our wedding in the Hudson Valley on 10/8/16. He did an amazing job and kept the dance floor full all night long! He is easy to work with and did a great job selecting music to fit our taste based off on our song requests. Larry had a lot of energy and kept the guests dancing throughout the entire reception, while still matching the mood and atmosphere of our wedding. Guests of all ages (early 20s to early 80s) were so happy with the music. Everyone had an absolute blast! Thank you so much to Larry for making our wedding reception the best party ever!

Larry is the greatest! I hired him because my husband and I wanted some different and non traditional music. I've heard horror stories where bride and groom spend time picking a playlist, then DJ plays whatever he likes. Larry was NOT one of those DJ's. He was very thorough in making sure he had all of our songs correct with correct versions, made sure all the cues were right with all of the bridal party's names. When the time came for the wedding day, I wasn't worried or stressed about anything. It was even better than I dreamed it could be. It helped that our guests also loved our music selections, but Larry stayed true to his word and played what we asked. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thanks Larry!!

Larry was absolutely incredible and such a pleasure to work with! I met Larry about a year before our wedding when he DJ'ed my work holiday party...he was so wonderful and had everyone on the dance floor! We never gave him a playlist just told him to do whatever he thought people would like...and he did just that! Everyone raved about the great time they had and how the music was amazing! I knew we needed to hire Larry for our wedding! Larry and Much Music DJ were absolutely incredible! My fiancé and I met Patrick at a wedding open house and we immediately felt comfortable talking with him and we did not feel pressured as we did with other DJ companies. We contacted Much Music to have a meeting and find out more about them. We met with Larry who owns much music and had another immediate connection. Larry is the nicest guy, walked us through a typical wedding and was willing to adapt to perform the exact wedding we wanted. We were given a nice binded book to fill out with all of our wedding preferences and music choices which was super easy. A few weeks before the wedding Larry called us and verified every little detail with us to make sure everything would be perfect. Larry played music during our ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect. After this we had our cocktail hour which we actually provided Larry with a list of music we wanted to hear for that hour and everything went smoothly. We then had a special introduction where we had a clip recorded by Dave Foxx introducing us and then going into New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. Everything worked perfectly and just how we wanted. At one point one of our grandparents who was near a speaker asked the Father of the Bride if they could have a few slow songs. We asked Larry and he was on it, no questions asked, the next few songs were slow dances and beautiful. I can't say enough great things about Larry and much music, people could hear each other during dinner, everyone loved the music, people were dancing and having a great time and I would recommend Much Music to all my engaged friends without hesitation! -Chris and Jessie (Married 9/17/16, Tides Estate, NJ)

Larry Mulligan of Much Music DJ played the music for my wedding on July 2, 2016 and he was great! He was very communicative leading up to the wedding and very professional during the wedding. We had a lot music requests and a pretty particular schedule and he was extremely accommodating and organized. Larry from Much Music dj-ed our wedding and practically every one of our guests commented on how much they loved the music at the reception. He catered to the party animals who were glad to dance the night away AND to those who wanted to enjoy conversation at their tables (many relatives remarked on how pleased they were that the volume of the music didn't preclude them from catching up with each other). Larry was also very responsive leading up to the event and exceedingly careful to make sure he had the correct versions of each of our requested songs ahead of time - which of course took a lot of worry out of some of the big moments of the evening. Thanks Much Music for a great soundtrack to our wedding!

We would without a doubt recommend MuchMusic to anyone who asked. We met Larry (the owner) at a wedding expo and immediately took to him. We contacted him within a couple of days and booked. We had several phone conversations prior to our wedding to get everything arranged (he did offer face to face but we could get the same done via phone so we took that option) and it ended up working perfectly. Larry was extremely warm to us a couple while also being very professional. He sent us a package to fill out so that he would be able to announce all of the names correctly. The package also included music to play and not to play and he really was able to stick to that list. He offered several packages, didn't pressure us into picking the more expensive package, and made us feel like we were very important people. The day of the wedding he was on time with everything. The equipment was all set up, he met with us beforehand as a last minute run through, and he provided music for the ceremony. During the reception everything was timed perfectly, he was enthusiastic without taking over the show, played great music that kept people dancing the entire time, and overall did an A+ job. If you want a good DJ, dancing music, and a professional, do not hesitate to contact Larry at MuchMusic!

We couldn't have been more happy with Much Music! My husband and I booked Larry through our wedding venue and couldn't have been more pleased! Larry really helped pump up the crowd and get people on their feet and dancing, he helped make the music selection process seamless and he took all of our requests and made them even better by picking other music that fell along the same genre. People were talking about how good he was all night! We also booked the photo booth with Much Music and that was the best decision. Patrick who ran the photo booth all night was great, and everyone loved the photo booth. Alone it's worth it to see the pictures but it gives your guest a fun souvenir to take home and remember your special. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Much Music to anyone looking for a DJ!

Part of what makes Larry and Much Music DJ so phenomenal is the preparation they put into the music ahead of time. Things I never even thought of became integral parts of the wedding. Every detail is included in a questionnaire and it ended up becoming very helpful in getting the entire wedding planned, not just giving a playlist. Then the day came and it worked beautifully, EVERYONE had a blast, and it went off without a hitch. Some may think it's a bit pricey, but in my opinion it was some of the best money we spent. I HIGHLY recommend the photo booth as well. It was a lot of fun, and gave the little kids something great to do when they got tired of the dance floor. I can't recommend enough. The bride's family is huge and goes to a lot of weddings, so they have a good frame of reference. And they ALL had a wonderful time. Thanks!

We were wedding planning across 3 different countries and it was a pleasure to work with Larry over email, phone, and in person on our big day! Larry was very courteous and professional in all of our interactions, and had a lot of enthusiasm to spare. His templates allowed us to provide him with important information about our ceremony and reception, and he played most of our requests, along with the requests of our guests (as instructed). On our wedding day, Larry arrived on time and was very polite and flexible as he waited for the appropriate parties to oversee setup and breakdown. Thanks to Larry's help, the bride was able to surprise the groom by singing one of his favorite love songs to him live, which is a moment we will both remember forever. Larry provided great cocktail music according to our request, and everyone had a fantastic time dancing after dinner. Even the bride's 85- and 90-year-old grandparents were dancing that night--thanks so much, Larry!

Larry truly made the night. He was super professional throughout the whole process and always responded so quickly to questions. Meeting with Larry was flexible and easy. He literally had people dancing from our introductions all the way until close. I love how his partner got out on the dance floor with us to lead the YMCA. Larry truly had an "MC" presence but is not cheesy at all. We would 100% go with him again if we had to do this over. We also used his photobooth services which were so fun. Tons of props and the photo quality was important to us and so much better than other weddings we have attended.

We had DJ Orel from Much Music and he was AWESOME. He was so friendly and flexible. We talked to him the Tuesday before the wedding to go over all the details and he did EXACTLY what we wanted. He was able to play all of our must plays, while staying away from our do-not-plays and he really did a great job of getting the crowd going. The dance floor was never empty and people had a blast. We also really gave him a run for his money, because I was unfortunately sick the whole time (nerves maybe) and kept disappearing, so the poor guy kept having to work the parents dances, etc around my disappearing act! He played it off well though and I don't think anyone even noticed. Thank you, DJ Orel for a wonderful event!

Larry is absolutely amazing! When we looked for our DJ, we knew exactly what we didn't want...EDM, club, MC, light-show, and we seemed to find DJs who claimed they could give us a different experience but never really had much to support that. We wanted to dance and to have our guests happy, entertained and on their feet. All of which Larry delivered. My family and guests loved his style, mixing older classic songs with today's hits. Our dance floor was NEVER empty; the party lasted all night. Our guests ranged from 19-86, and everyone was dancing. Larry was incredibly easy to work with. He responded quickly, which is a really important factor when planning a wedding. He was clear, communicative and really easy to speak to regarding our vision for the day. Both my husband and I contacted Larry separately to work on surprises for each other (neither of us knew until after.) My husband was successful in pulling his off, and Larry couldn't have made us feel more special. I would basically throw another party just to have Larry DJ it...it was THAT much fun.

Larry from Much Music was awesome! He was so helpful in getting us prepared, and in figuring out the set up of our reception as well as picking out music for the different parts of our event. He took lots of time to go over the options with us for the flow of the reception, from the first dance to the toast to the cake cutting and more. He was so nice and easy to work with, and his experience and vast knowledge of music instantly earned our trust. Our guests were very happy with the music and danced all night. They also said Larry was sure to play lots of their requests which was great. We barely had to think about things at the reception because Larry worked with our venue to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone was where they needed to be and knew what was going on. And all the guests, especially the kids, loved the glowsticks and hats he handed out during the party. Larry is an excellent DJ and master of ceremonies, and his costs were extremely reasonable. We highly recommend Much Music!

We were very nervous about selecting a DJ because we had such a limited budget, but then we came across Much Music. Larry was our DJ and he was fantastic leading up to the wedding and he really rocked the house from the ceremony to the end of the reception. I was very concerned about how I was going to afford a DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception but Much Music did it all, and still within our budget. Everyone raved about Larry from our older guests to the children. He was great with the crowd and kept us all dancing! My feet still hurt from being on the dance floor all night! I highly recommend this DJ service as it was the best part of my wedding! He made sure our day was special and personalized with our eclectic music list that was worked out with him way in advance. I never had to worry and he gave me piece of mind, which I greatly appreciated! I knew I was in good hands from the moment we met him! Words cannot begin to express how amazing our DJ, Larry from Much Music DJ was! He came highly recommended by several of our other vendors and we are so happy that he was available the day of our wedding! He was so easy to work with and very inviting and open to make your day special!

On the night of our wedding I turned to my husband and said, honestly, of all our vendors I think the DJ was the best. I still think that is true even though we had several other absolutely wonderful vendors.

Our DJ from Much Music was Larry and he was fantastic. He did a great job of emceeing the reception. He was extremely responsive to any and all requests we made and was very flexible on the day of the wedding. He also has a fantastic attitude. He required no maintenance and helped reduce the stress of the wedding. I cannot say that for every vendor.

We got married on July 25, 2014 and worked with Larry & Orel for our wedding reception.
From the moment we met Larry at a bridal expo and he as well as his team wore tuxedos we knew they were professionals. We met Larry at his home and talked for 2 hours going over the service he provides, showing us videos and all of his equipment, very impressive. The night of our wedding was fantastic and ran like clock work. Larry had everything we discussed all typed out neatly on q-cards and didn't miss a beat. He played all of the songs on our requested play list and kept the guests dancing all night!

We had the pleasure of working with Much Music as our DJ for our wedding in July 2014. We were incredibly impressed by them from the moment we met them. We sat down with Orel a few weeks before the wedding and went through all of the details. They had great suggestions and were not afraid to let us know when one of our ideas was not the best - which was very much appreciated!

Orel was AWESOME the day of the wedding. He had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. He played a great mix of different kinds of music that appealed to all the different age groups and all of our guests were incredibly impressed. I can't tell you how many of our guests told us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to!

My husband and I decided to book Much Music for our wedding on June 22 2014. It was a day time wedding, which makes it 10 times harder to make it fun. Larry and his team made our wedding out of this world. He brought his chicken dance suit for the chicken song, he made everyone dance, brought dry ice, and an amazing photo booth!! I never met a DJ that truly loved what they do. I must have called him 20 times before the big day, and every time he made me so comfortable. It was like talking to a friend, except he made me laugh more!! When meeting with Larry at his home, you could see how amazing he was from the start. Completely organized, and didn't push you into upgrading to any packages. Just suggested what other wedding couples have enjoyed. We decided to go with the photo booth, with our other package. Our guests went crazy for it!!! They had props, and a beautiful backdrop for it. Larry suggested that we get his scrapbook so that our guests could write something next to their photos. Let me say this, it was hit!! I wish I could have 10 more weddings so that I could hire him all over again!! I cannot express how blown away my wife and I were from working with Much Music. Larry made us feel very comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding itself. He was thorough, efficient, and extremely patient with all of our last minute changes. He offered his guidance and made sure my wife and I felt completely comfortable with all the final details made.

For the event, everything reviewed prior to went as planned and our guests had a blast. The Much Music crew had a pulse on the crowd and knew how to keep the dance floor packed. There were members of both mine and my wife's family that we have never seen dance and they were on the floor with us having a great time.

We also decided to go with the up lighting and photo booth offered. That was the best decision. The up lighting made the room look incredible and completely set the mood beyond our expectations. As for the photo booth, what an awesome idea. Our guests got to dress up with swords, big hats, mohawks, and tons of costumes. They kept going back for more. Best decision.

Larry and the crew at Much Music made our wedding day. Our guests can't stop talking about how much fun they had and that it was the best wedding they had been to. We couldn't agree more.

Larry from Much Music did an excellent job providing Music for my entire wedding, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and finally, the reception. The ceremony music was simply beautiful. A wonderful balance of classical and soft love songs- exactly what we wanted! I walked down the aisle to Train's "Marry Me," and it was simply just perfect! He transitioned the crowd to the cocktail hour and it was classy and elegant. He had all of our guests dancing the night away with a great variety of dance music. He played something for everyone!! My husband (who doesn't dance) and I danced the night away! Larry was professional, efficient and on-time! He was well prepared, played all the music we requested and he did a wonderful job managing the reception activities!
I would highly recommend Larry and Much Music for any event!

Larry from Much Music provided us with excellent day long entertainment! I was initially anxious because of our many demands, but Larry played my cocktail hour list of songs, the reception songs we had chosen and worked with another DJ to seamlessly incorporate traditional Bulgarian dancers and other traditional foreign dances my parents wanted included. All in all, it was an amazing night, Larry was very high energy, and young and old, foreigners and locals were all on the dance floor.

We had Larry dj our wedding 8/31/13..he was awesome! Kept everyone dancing happy and is a very nice guy and very professional..I'd give him 6 stars if I could!! :)

Larry is so professional and organized, but also very fun to work with. We are pretty low-key people and he worked with us to put together a great reception that kept the night moving without being too over the top. We had a few off-the-wall music requests, including our ceremony music choices, and he made sure he was able to play them all. All of our guests said this was the best wedding they have ever been to and that it was "very us." We couldn't have made that happen without Much Music!

Larry at Much Music was a pleasure to work with. As soon as we met him we knew he was the perfect DJ for us. He is so upbeat and funny and we knew he was going to have our guests on the dance floor for the entire night. He handled both our ceremony music and reception and there was not one flaw. I picked out quite a few songs that were a must hear. If he didnt have a song, he made sure he downloaded it or purchased it for us. I had so much fun and most of our pictures are of us and our guests on that dance floor!!
