We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! The views of Mt. Hood in the background were absolutely stunning, and our photos turned out beyond amazing thanks to the breathtaking scenery. The venue staff were incredibly professional and ensured everything went smoothly from start to finish. The food was delicious, and it was very helpful being able to attend a tasting prior to the wedding, all included with our package. One of the highlights was the ski lift ride up and the alpine slide down, which added a unique and fun touch to the day. Shannon and Rowan at Ski Bowl were amazing! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an outdoor mountain wedding. Once the day got started everything moved along so smoothly and everyone there was so good to work with. The location is great because of the amount of available lodging in government camp and the guest shuttle that skibowl offers is amazing. The food everyone loved and guests stated that this was the best wedding and the slide and lift rides definitely make it a fun and memorable event! -

Wow Mt. Hood Skibowl, Shannon and Rowan, and the entire team was incredible. They truly made our wedding dreams come true!! From all of our planning meetings, to the day of coordination, Shannon/Rowan were an absolute joy to work with. They were incredibly organized, kind, and executed flawlessly. On a day with so many moving parts, we felt grateful for their attention to detail, expertise and a final product better than we could have ever imagined! We highly recommend Mt. Hood Skibowl to be your wedding venue, it was incredibly unique and you won't find anywhere like it :) it was the best day of our lives and our guests repeatedly said "this was the best wedding they had ever been to". -

Working with Skibowl to plan our wedding was an incredibly enjoyable experience and I wouldn't have changed anything about it! Their team helps with a lot of the logistics and coordination, alleviating a lot of the otherwise stressful tasks of wedding planning. Their team is excellent about communicating and collaborating at every step in the planning process and it all results in a smoothly executed event! Everything about the setting, logistics, chairlift/alpine slide, food, and hospitality were superlative and made for an incredible guest experience. Highly recommend working with Skibowl for the perfect low-stress and memorable wedding experience! -

The staff at Skibowl was absolutely amazing! The planning coordinators Shannon and Cheyenne, as well as everyone that helped the whole day, were so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and organized. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, and they provide/coordinate pretty much everything for you, making wedding planning SO easy! Due to unforeseen circumstances, a ton of smoke rolled in just a couple hours before our wedding and we weren't able to get married up the mountain as planned because of health risks. BUT -- the Skibowl staff scrambled and worked extremely hard for us to still make it incredibly beautiful and magical at the reception tent, and was blown away on how they were able to pull it off. They even shuttled us up the mountain around sunset once the smoke cleared up a little bit for some pictures which was completely unexpected. The food was some of the best food I've ever had, the drinks were delicious, and service went above and beyond! From day one of planning to the day of our wedding, they seriously rolled out the red carpet and made us feel so celebrated and everything a breeze. THANK YOU SKIBOWL -- you have always been our favorite place to snowboard and now you provided us with a memory of the best day of our lives! -

Shannon and Cheyenne were an amazing team to work with from Day -100 till our final wedding day! Super responsive, assisted us with complicated questions but overall made our day so easy and smooth considering all the logistics on the mountain. I would highly recommend not only the venue but this fabulous team to work with! (We did not hire a planner, but we really didn't need them!) -

Perfect venue for an outdoorsy couple
We both live in the Portland area and get annual Fusion passes to Timberline + SkiBowl in the winter for skiing. We were already familiar with the amazing views and cozy/outdoorsy vibes of the facilities so once engaged, SkiBowl was one of the first places on our list of potential venues. But once we got to tour the venue in the summertime, we were sold. Everything just felt right. The views are stunning and the ski lift and alpine slide make it so unique and fun. Getting to meet the team and learn about the ease of inclusive offerings at their reasonable price points were cherries on top. Once we decided on SkiBowl, the planning process was a breeze because so much is included (tables, linens, lighting, transportations for your guests, catering) and the coordinators respond to any questions quickly. I didn't hire my own wedding planner which made me nervous at first, but the wedding day itself was seamless thanks to the SkiBowl team. From the ski lift ride, big mountain views, alpine slide, corn hole games, and after-dark fire, there was so much to do/see. We only had to hire a DJ and photographer as we did our own florals and decorations. You truly don't need any other bells and whistles to make this venue beautiful and exciting. Many of our guests told us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. We were married in early July on a beautiful sunny day with full views of the mountain. And we had an opportunity to do a First Look at the upper mountain which was so special and offered even better views than the ceremony site. Overall, it was everything I could have ever hoped for. We absolutely loved having our wedding at SkiBowl and couldn't recommend it enough!

Skibowl was the WHOLE package! Right from the beginning Cheyenne and Shannon were extremely welcoming and easy to work with. They helped to make the entire process of planning easy and as stress-free as possible. They were able to answer our questions with quick replies in the months leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, Cheyenne and Shannon helped to make everything go smoothly. They were able to pivot our timeline on the day of to accomodate for the unexpected amount of time it took myself and the bridesmaids to get ready. All the staff had smiles on their face and were kind to all of our guests. It ended up raining on our wedding day during the reception (which totally didn't matter and made it all the more special), Shannon and Cheyenne jumped quickly into action and helped to move our dance floor into the tent. The entire day was seamless and we have the utmost respect for these two and the entire Skibowl team. Everything from the spectacular ceremony site, to riding down the alpine slides, to the incredible food and drinks was perfect. Not only that but all of our guests continually said this may have been the best wedding they had ever been to. Skibowl offers a truly unique experience. They also worked so well with all of our vendors. We are so grateful for the Skibowl team for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives. We couldn't thank you enough!!!! -

Best day best staff best venue
We knew the moment we met Cheyenne and Shannon that Ski Bowl was the right choice!
They were so welcoming, low key, and inviting. They made the planning, and logistics of our Wedding day the easiest and most memorable experience we could wish for. I am not sure how people put on a wedding that is NOT at Ski Bowl!
It was everything we could've wished for. Not a single piece out of line just hours of fun with your guests. It was the best day of my Wife and I's life. We would re live this day 10000x over and Ski Bowl played a MASSIVE part in that. I mean it when I say it, we had absolutely no stress in the process of getting married at Ski Bowl. Every aspect of this venue is DIALED. We got SO many complements from our guests on the food, atmosphere, event space, and full on experience they got to be apart of.
Mt. Hood holds a special place in our hearts, and now Ski Bowl has just added to a long list of love and memories on that mountain.
I cannot recommend this venue enough. The staff, service, cost, and just over all support you get is absolutely unbeatable.

Skibowl as a venue is one of a kind and all of your guests will rave about your wedding for months and years to come. Being able to take the ski lift up and alpine slide down is such a unique way to make your big day fun and adventurous while getting to soak in the gorgeous mountain views. If these options aren't feasible for your guests, the event staff will ensure everyone is taken care of no matter their needs. Skibowl wedding packages include things such as guest shuttles, late night venue access, event coordinating staff, and more all of which would be an extra charge at most other venues. The amazing event staff, Cheyenne and Shannon (and team), will ensure that everything is tailored to your exact specification while taking in your budget into consideration. They will make sure you are taken care of during the whole wedding weekend from planning, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, all the way to the big day and beyond. The food and beverages were so delicious and the dinner staff did an amazing job with setting the reception area up with the tables and linens exactly how we wanted and making our cookie table look like an absolute dream. I could go on about how incredible the venue and staff are and wish we could do it all over again. I highly recommend Skibowl as your mid-mountain wedding weekend getaway.Mt. Hood Skibowl's reply:

Amazing!! Beautiful setting, fun atmosphere, great food.

We LOVED our wedding!
We toured lots of venues and so glad we booked with Skibowl. The views are gorgeous and we just loved booking with a venue that was a well-oiled machine. Such a great value for what is already provided and leaves with less to worry about. It definitely set a fun, adventurous tone for our wedding, which suited us so well. We also loved the location in Government Camp and accommodations that were available, made it feel really cozy for everyone coming from out of town. Staff were so professional, kind, accommodating, responsive, and genuinely happy for our engagement/wedding. Our only hesitation was possible weather issues, and we got super lucky with a gorgeous, perfect day. Zero regrets and we loved our wedding.Mt. Hood Skibowl's reply:

I had Mt Hood Ski Bowl recommended to me as a venue by my hairdresser when I was talking about getting engaged. What initially what drew me into ski bowl was the alpine slides, I thought that sounded like a cool extra perk that everyone could take the slides from the ceremony to the reception. What sealed the deal for me was realizing just how little I would have to worry about planning with this venue. When I tell you I did very little planning for my wedding, I absolutely mean it. I had the brilliant idea to take on a brand new job with all kinds of new responsibilities at the same time I was planning my wedding. If I had not gone with this venue, I truly believe I would have been screwed. They were so helpful in breaking down a timeline for the entire day & always responded to my panicking emails within a day or two. I went into our final meeting on the wedding with so much anxiety that I hadn't planned anything & it would all fall apart & by the time they broke down the timeline & we walked through how the entire day would look, I was feeling nothing but excitement for my wedding day. I've talked to other people about the price they paid for a venue on their wedding & I strongly believe we paid significantly less for significantly more when it came to ski bowl. Do you want to have stunning views with an epic party guided by the best coordinator team in the biz? Then you must have your wedding at Skibowl. Shannon, Cheyenne, and the whole team were truly a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We had a 200 person wedding at Skibowl that went off without a hitch thanks to their attentiveness, flexibility, and commitment to making the day super special for us. They had a very clear pricing guide and worked closely with us to make sure we could personalize our wedding while also being budget-conscious. They helped us accommodate dietary needs, planned non-alcoholic beverage options for us, and were always prompt in fielding our endless questions. Highlights included them assisting us in wrangling our somewhat-unruly wedding party for the rehearsal, hosting a private tasting for us after we missed their tasting party due to COVID, and bringing us cocktails at the base of the alpine slide prior to our grand entrance. Skibowl was the best wedding venue that we could have imagined. Going in to planning, we didn't have much in mind other than we wanted our guests to have fun and we wanted it to be outdoors - perfect! Everyone had such a blast on the ski lift and the slide. Shannon and Cheyenne were excellent - they were responsive and uplifting the whole way through. I was so relieved throughout the process that we didn't ever have to plan tableware, chairs, catering, or any of those small (boring) details - Skibowl takes care of all of it and their setup is super streamlined. The mountain was an unbeatable backdrop and helped us save lots of money on decor. Our guests also kept commenting on the quality of food - their catering is gorgeously done. If we could do the whole thing again, we'd definitely choose Skibowl.

We had a picturesque wedding in August 2021 at Mount Hood Skibowl, and we were so impressed by the people working at Skibowl and beauty of the venue itself! So many of our friends and family continue to say how amazing out wedding was last year. The overall views of the mountain where the ceremony can take place are stunning, and the warming hut where the couple gets ready is charming and rustic. Riding the slide down to the reception tent was so fun for our guests and for us! And the reception tent is beautiful with its strings of lights, and the garden/outdoor games for people to play is the perfect touch for that fun outdoor wedding feeling. If you are going for a mountain-vibe wedding with just a little bit of adventure, Skibowl is the place! Working with Shannon was stress-free; she helped us organize every single little detail and timings for the wedding and made us feel so comfortable with the process. (She even helped us with having our rehearsal dinner at the local pizza place that Skibowl owns in Government Camp.) During the day, Shannon and everyone else working the bar and serving food at Skibowl were so friendly and accommodating. Even little details like having cake stands and a fancy knife for cutting the wedding cake were taken care of by Skibowl. Lastly, I cannot emphasize how delicious our food was! When we were planning our wedding, we didn’t want to have so many vendors for every little thing, and Skibowl was the perfect choice for us since they take care of all the details and have everything you need right on scene (like catering and transportation for your guests up the mountain). Where do I begin?! Mt Hood Skibowl was THE PERFECT venue with everything we could have asked for. From the stunning views at the top of venue, to the ceremony site in a picturesque meadow, to the beautifully decorated tent at the lodge, to the mouthwatering food, everything was perfect!
In the beginning, we worked with Becca, and she so graciously helped us navigate the unknown at the start of the pandemic. Our wedding was still a year and a half away, but Becca answered all of our questions, kept us up to date with possible pandemic restrictions, and when it was finally close enough to plan the small details, she answered our questions nearly as fast as we sent them.
We were able to participate in a tasting, and the food was to die for. In the end, we requested pulled pork and chimichurri steak tacos, and donuts for dessert, I know, sounds weird, but they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests!
The last few months before the wedding, Becca had to split her weddings (pandemic overflow in 2021), and we had the absolute delight to work with Shannon. Shannon was amazing! She worked so closely with Becca that she didn’t even skip a beat and knew exactly what was going on with our wedding. We are so grateful to have been able to work with Shannon, and she helped make our day perfect!
Thank you to the both of you, thank you to all the staff that helped with our wedding, and thank you to Mt Hood Skibowl for being the dream wedding venue we could have ever asked for!!

You can’t go wrong with choosing Skibowl as your venue. From the jaw dropping views of Mt. Hood, the playful alpine slides, stunning entertainment spaces, our guests were so impressed! We had the best day of coordinators who helped us plan our dream wedding. The food was also delicious, our guests literally had mounds for their plates going through the buffet line and said it was the best food they have had at a wedding. Not only is the venue incredibly gorgeous, it is an active experience that will have your guests talking about it for a lifetime. Becca and all the staff were phenomenal! I mean everyone! We held our wedding here last weekend and could not have imagined a better day. Becca and her team were so easy to work with - food was amazing, staff was excellent and you can't beat that backdrop. I can't say enough good things about this venue. The view are outstanding...but what really stood out was the people. Becca made the entire planning process so easy, and day-of she had people at every turn ready to help. Even the office staff at Collins Lake Resort went above and beyond to make sure our guests had a good experience. Our family has a long history of destination weddings (Jamaica, Italy, Mexico to name a few) and multiple people told us this was the prettiest venue and nicest staff of all of them. -

Made our Perfect Day Truly Perfect!!
I could not be happier that we chose to get married at Mount Hood Skibowl!! When we decided to tie the knot, we knew we wanted a snowy mountain get-away and let me tell you, Mount Hood Skibowl did not disappoint- at all! Our highlights are: First, their pricing for what they offer is a steal! We contacted MANY resorts in multiple states for our destination ski resort wedding, and not only was Skibowl one of the cheaper options, but their wedding packages include SO many perks (in more detail below)!! Small example of this, they transported everyone to and from the wedding site in shuttles and had a snow mobile travel my elderly grandfather to the lodge. Second, Becca K., their wedding planner extraordinaire, made our perfect day absolutely perfect. She coordinated everything for us and made our plans come together perfectly! She was quick to respond to my many questions, answered every question I had, and gave me a lot of really great advice because she truly is the expert. A small example of what she did to make our experience so amazing: She not only helped us plan our wedding, she coordinated the rehearsal dinner off-site, and we literally showed up on the day-of and did not lift a darn finger- she handled it all. Amazing! Another example, because I seriously love her, is she coordinated the BEST SEND OFF ever. Hello tubing down the hill in a wedding dress and suit! Third, FOOD AND DRINK. Seriously, spectacular. Guests raved all night about the hors d'oeuvres, the Traeger-smoked salmon and our signature cocktails. It was a gorgeous, perfect experience and I would not change one single detail. -

Jaimie Sent on 10/04/2018I cannot say enough great things about McKenna, Becca, and the catering/wedding day staff at SkiBowl. We had our perfect day and everything went so smoothly. McKenna was organized and clearly answered our questions. The location was top notch and we both love the rustic feel on the mountainside with the best view of Mt. Hood. Safety is important and they provide shuttle services at the end of the night back to one of their partner properties and you can dance into the night (2am) if you really want to :-) We were so happy to not have to shut down our party at 10pm like many other venues, or have turn the music down due to neighbors. The venue is relaxed and great for families and the food was delicious. We were fortunate with the weather for our September wedding and had a beautiful day. We are excited to have such a cool place be so special to us. Thank you again!

Lauren Sent on 07/12/2018At one point during our reception, as we feasted on the most incredible food, my husband and I looked at each other and simultaneously concluded, “This is absolutely phenomenal.” We decided then and there that on a scale of 1 to 10, SkiBowl came in somewhere between 14 and 75! We cannot say enough about how truly exceptional our experience was with our wedding at SkiBowl. Right from the start, Becca was on it – she is an absolute godsend (especially when planning a wedding from out of state). With all the calm and resolve of a seasoned pro, Becca answered each email and phone call, and kept us on track with reminders full of excitement as the date got closer. As we arrived on site the weekend of our wedding, she and McKenna were on it – and I mean ON. IT. They handled every detail, making sure that if we needed anything, it was achieved almost instantaneously. And then there was Tamara – any detail when it came to getting things finalized and set up, she was so gracious and made sure it was done exactly how we hoped. She is truly wonderful, and such an amazing woman to chat with amidst the chaos! And then day-of… EVERY employee made us smile. From the set-up crews to the lift operators. Each person on staff damn near made me cry with gratitude. Up at the warming hut, Laura was our gal, and she outdid herself – she welcomed our family and friends with such grace and warmth! Her heart was shining, and I am so thankful to have met her. Her presence only added to the perfection of the day. Every person made a point to congratulate us and wish us well in our marriage, and shared in our excitement so genuinely that you’d have thought they knew us personally. I can say without hesitation that at SkiBowl, YOUR joy is THEIR joy. I truly hope this gets back to the whole staff that worked on 6/30/18 because we want to thank ALL of you for making our day even better than we could have hoped for! -

We LOVE Ski Bowl!!!
This venue was amazing!!! We could not have asked for a more beautiful and unique location to host our guests. The chair ride up and the slides down were of course memorable, but the attentiveness and thoughtfulness of all staff members made this wedding so special. Amazing experience!
They helped me through every step of planning our wedding! They thought of every detail and helped me keep it organized which was the biggest help. Our day went so smoothly and it was truly so magical! If you want an incredible back drop for your ceremony, it does not get any better!!
