  The perfect wedding venue for us and our 85(ish) guests!

  We couldn't have imagined a more ideal wedding for us. Mrs. Murphy and Sons was the perfect spot when we got married in 2017. Working with the event coordinator, Matt, was really easy. He was accommodating, flexible, calm, and always followed through. Day-of service was fantastic. Every bartender, server, set-up crew, Matt, etc. were helpful, kind, and just all-around great! The food was delicious, the space was unique and had a warm feeling, without it feeling too crowded (we had around 85-90 guests and booked the entire upstairs space). Best of all, the overall cost was by far lower than the Chicago average. Couldn't have found a better place and better people! Thank you!

  I had my wedding reception here in 2015 and everything was fantastic! The staff was a delight to work with, the food was incredible and satisfied all of our guests, and the price could not be beat! The space itself is super charming and made for some incredible pictures. 10/10 would recommend!

  Mrs. Murphy's was the perfect place for our wedding. Our main priorities when picking a venue had great food, a unique atmosphere, place for a ceremony and for it to memorable. And Mrs. Murphy's hit all of those things right on the head. The responsiveness was not where i would have liked it to be, sometime i would get answers and information in 24 hours then other times it would be weeks. This place is on the small side so i do understand there is only 1 person as their wedding contact. Overall they were very flexible with all of my ideas and diy projects. The service the day of the wedding was amazing, everyone was very attentive and polite. We got a ton many complements on the food and space. The prices were beyond reasonable and we were able to figure out our own package for the dinner. They offered many food and drink options on top of a customizable menu and bar. And really I don't think we could have picked a better venue it was perfect for the out of the box wedding we were looking for.
