    Coordinator and Florist Extraordinaire!!

    We had the most incredible experience working with Megan and the whole team at Mrs. Brown Floral and Event. Megan takes great detail to ensure the entire process is impressively seamless and meticulously carried out. The communication was extremely clear, perfectly timed, collaborative, and just generally kind. Megan’s passion and professional experience make her the ideal wedding planner/coordinator and florist. We were very careful when selecting our coordinator and florist because we really wanted to find someone who not only provided a fun party, but also a logistically sound ceremony and day. From our first presentation with Megan we could tell she was the superior choice. Whereas other coordinators and florists offered a quick chat and minimal info, Megan had an informative presentation and beautifully organized documents that covered the pre-wedding process, including packages, to-do’s, personalization, inspo, timelines, and so much more. Every last detail is accounted for and the pricing is fair. Our ceremony and wedding events were perfectly seamless and our reception was incredibly fun- all thanks to Megan and her team. Our advice- do not under any circumstance give your friend or family these roles, or hire a coordinator that is not invested in using the time leading up to your day to create the best day of plan. Some planners say things like “we will not talk to you until X weeks out.” Megan is not this type of person, as she truly cares about you, advocates for you from day one planning to the end of the night on your wedding, and is there to support you every step. The florals were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly cared for to ensure they looked amazing all day and night. You could just tell this team was genuinely happy to be included in our day and were there to do the best job possible. We hope you choose to trust Megan with your day!

    More than just flowers

    Mrs. Browns was more than I could have ever asked for in a vendor. They not only delivered top notch floral arrangements but also coordinated my wedding with spunk and enthusiasm. They helped run everything and it went super smooth. They even managed the hiccups that popped up. I would 10 outs 10 recommend.

    Very Personalized Service

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with Mrs. Browns Floral and Event Specialists for our wedding and I truly cannot recommend them enough. From the very beginning, they made the entire experience feel so personal and thoughtful.

    They handled all of our floral arrangements—from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the centerpieces and ceremony decor—and every single piece was stunning and fit my vision perfectly. You could really tell that they listened to what we wanted and added their own creative magic to bring everything to life.

    What stood out the most was how personally invested they were in making sure everything was perfect. It never felt like we were just another client—they genuinely cared, and it showed in every detail.

    If you're looking for a florist who is talented, caring, and incredibly easy to work with, Megan and her team are the ones for you. So grateful we found them!

    Dream Came True

    The floral arrangements were nothing short of breathtaking. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, every detail was perfectly designed and executed. The combination of colors, textures, and seasonal flowers was exactly what we had imagined—yet somehow even more beautiful in person. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and lasted throughout the entire event, which was a huge bonus in the summer celebration.     Pinterest Ideas came to Life! Amazing

    Our vision for our wedding started out on pinterest with ideas and Megan took those visions and pictures and actually brought them to life and they looked BETTER than what we thought of ourselves! She is truly talented and we could not recommend her enough to others!

    60 day wedding

    We decided to put together our wedding in the mountains of Idyllwild and had less than 60 days to plan it. Megan was there every step of the way guiding us and advising us. Her resources even helped us avoid some landmines and issues we were running into with planning a last minute wedding. Exceptionally organized and communicative.

    Dream Team

    Stacy and Dana were the best design team a girl could ask for on her wedding day. They took my ideas and turned them into something so special, Pinterest would be jealous. My friends and family are still raving about how beautiful the deco and floral was. Can I just rewind the last week and do it over again? What do you say ladies? Lol

    Loved working with Megan!

    So happy we went with Megan at Mrs. Brown's! She was super helpful and organized in helping me make my initial decisions and was very easy to communicate with! I wanted to switch things up a bit and have a mix of cactus/succulents with flowers in bud vases and the centerpieces came out SO cute! Got multiple compliments on them and people loved having them to take home at the end of the night!

    Instead of a traditional arch, Megan made us two flower towers so to say that stood on either side of us, one taller than the other, and it looked SO CUTE! Loved it so much and it was SO cute after when we moved them to flank our sweetheart table!

    My bouquet was amazing! Everyone's jaw dropped over how beautiful and HUGE it was! She did an amazing job mixing different colors and textures for a unique bouquet, loved it!

    HIRE THEM! You won't be disappointed!

    Hire her already

    Megan of Mrs. Brown’s Floral and Event was recommended to me by 2 of my close friends as she had done floral for both of their weddings. From the first phone call with Megan, she was genuinely excited with us and I knew she was going to deliver on wedding day. She worked hard to understand our vision, was available when I had questions concerns or wanted to make tweaks. She kept a LIVE shared document so that we were all on the same page. I cannot recommend Megan enough. My only regret is not hiring her for planning my wedding as well.

    Captured Our Essence

    From the beginning of our planning process, our planner was incredible! She made us feel heard, gave great suggestions and was always just an email or call away when we had any last minute questions. On the day of our wedding, she did a phenomenal of job making the venue look absolutely beautiful and captured the exact theme and feel that we were going for. I truly could not have made it through the day without her!

    Amazing!

    Megan and her team did an amazing job. We had an Indian wedding but wanted to do dry florals for a more rustic vibe. She understood our vision really well and brought it to life. We loved how everything turned out! The ceremony and reception both turned out exactly how we envisioned it.

    Amazing service and florals!

    From the start when I Had my first conversation with Megan, it was great! I was in between picking flowers for my wedding but she made me feel so comfortable and Totally understood my vision. The process with Megan and her team was incredibly easy and I was able to send her so many pictures and ideas and we were able to brainstorm together to create my dream florals. The day of the wedding, Megan and her team were prompt and set up everything perfectly, just as how we envisioned. I wanted bright colors and they nailed it! On top of the amazing florals, I was working with the budget and she made Sure that we were working with in that budget. I would highly recommend Mrs. Browns Florals & event specialist to everyone.     From the first email and phone call to the wedding day... everything about working with Mrs Brown’s Floral & Event Specialist was SO great!! I knew in the first phone call consultation that I wanted to work with Megan!     Best decision I made for my wedding

    Mr. Browns Floral & Events is a great company to work with. Megan is beyond wonderful. I hired her and her team for my wedding on 9.25.21 My husband and I want to give Magen a huge shout out for her professionalism, ability to stopping mistakes before they happen, fixing mistakes after the fact and most important she was amazing to all my guests. What more can you ask for!

    Just a little highlight about this company and how they respond to situations, one of my bridesmaids turned into a drama queen and started changing things with my timeline and vendors. She reached out to Magen the Monday before my wedding and rearranged my timeline to fit her needs (crazy I know) Magen accommodated the last-minute changes and reached out to tell me about it. Needless to say, I was just as surprised about the changes as she was. After we fixed everything back to the original plan, my now, no longer invited to my wedding because she doesn’t understand boundaries bridesmaid continues to call and harass Megan about the wedding and continues to call other vendors and cancel them for my event. Megan handled her very professional and respectfully even though the crazy bridesmaid did not deserve it after how she behaved.

    Megan was flexible and worked with to fix and rearrange everything last minute without complaining or making me feel bad about all the extra work she had to do (Thank you). Although this situation was very embarrassing for me Magen was a delight to work with and she always had a smile on her face. You are amazing and I’m so grateful for you and your team on my wedding day. Thank you for making our day perfect and memorable!!

    Excellent!

    Megan was great from start to finish, I hired her over other coordinators because she was the one responding to me most immediately. This was a trend she maintained through my entire 7 month planning process. She was always happy to answer any questions and offer suggestions even though I wasn’t paying her for the whole planning package- and I think this shows her true passion for making brides days are perfect. The rehearsal Megan took control of everyone just wandering around the venue which I loved cuz usually I have to do that kind of stuff. She’s professional and assertive and I really appreciate that in a person. We had two vendors not show up and she handled that perfectly and was very flexible. Highly recommend this company. I had a ton of decorations I was bringing and she handled that too, and set them up perfectly. Hire her!

    The Best Team!

    Megan and her team coordinated and set up our entire wedding. We took the chance and booked a estate that had no staff for set up or management and Megan and her team came through. They handled everything from setting the tables to making sure all the trash was taken out at the end of the night. They made the entire event a success.

    All inclusive magic

    Megan and her squad provided wedding planning, rentals, floral designs and event staff for our wedding. We were able to move our location to a private estate to keep our wedding day due to COVID cancellations. Megan really pulled her resources together and we were able to transform our Grandparents back yard into a magic garden.

    Great experience throughout Covid struggles

    Megan was so great! We unfortunately did not even get to do my actual wedding together due to 3 reschedules from Covid. Megan was so flexible and understanding and made the process so much less stressful. I am so sad that we did not get to work together on the final product. She completely understood the look I was going for and I found her to have some of the best pricing around! Would HIGHLY recommend working with her!

    Best day ever!

    As a previous confused bride planning the minute details of my wedding day, being cautious of vendors I pick while diligently spending reasonable amount of $$. I was grateful Megan was recommended to me by a previous bride that she made very happy. I too ended up being a very happy client. Very professional and quick to respond, also my favorite, she was very flexible with my indecisive attitude, and change things for me last minute. Most of all reasonable with her prices!     Megan is an artist!

    Megan designed the bouquets for my wedding and they were amazing. I wanted a bundle of white flowers and some longer strings of greenery and they came out perfect. I had no idea what the flowers I wanted were called but I sent her some photos and she replicated just that. When she delivered them the day of I was so happy and couldn’t believe how beautiful they were and how good they smelled. I was very happy with her work. Highly recommend!

    Heidi and Megan were the missing piece in planning our wedding. They truly invested in our day and made sure that everyone was in time and did what they needed to do.     Stress Free!

    Megan and her team were amazing. We used them for day of coordination and floral for our backyard wedding in Norco, CA that was two different locations for the ceremony and reception. Megan follows up with all vendors the week before to make sure everyone is on the same page. She is also present during the rehearsal which was super helpful so everyone knew what their role was. We trusted her 100% with setting up the decor and floral the day of and she did not disappoint. She is professional and knows what she is doing. We were able to enjoy our big day with the help of Megan and her team. They also help transport and take down decor which was awesome. With the help of Megan and her team, our wedding day was beautiful and stress free. We would recommend Megan and her team to anyone in the future!

    Such a great job on a hard venue!

    Our wedding was a bit of a logistical nightmare to say the least and that is why we hired Megan 2/3 weeks prior to help us with the details and day-of coordinating. We had already booked her company for floral in advance. We were so grateful with her availability to go over all the details and give us advice on what her experience has taught her over many weddings. She was fun and easy to work with and also meticulous at the same time. She did a great job of navigting las minute headaches like the photographer not brining an assistant to call out names for the big family photos to cutting the cake herself because the baker got into an accident the night of. Our rental company was rude and unprofessional to the groom day of and she called them after the wedding to attempt and recover some funds for us, which was above and beyond. She is a hard worker and will personally make sure your big day is a dream come true!

    Wedding Florals

    I hired Mrs. Brown (Megan) as my florist for my wedding day. Everything turned out so beautifully!!! The only thing I was bummed about was how my husband’s boutonnière which was a single peony opened up so big within an hour of him having it on. I understand this is not her fault but I wish she would have warned me that this was a possibility because I had no clue and it didn’t look like the inspo picture I sent her. Other than that I really have nothing bad to say about Megan’s work. I am so happy that I hired her for my wedding!!! She was also very friendly and easy to work with and was accepting to last minute changes that I had. Thanks for everything Megan!

    I didn’t even know how badly I needed her until the day came, and nothing fell apart. Megan was absolutely incredible in organizing my day of plans, in arranging flowers and seating.     Best day of my life, thanks to Megan!

    Megan and her team were incredible. She was involved early on, despite being only my "day of" coordinator. On the actual day of, we said very few words to one another (which is a good thing!) -- she worked with my bridesmaids and brought everything to life so I didn't have to stress. Her attention to detail and little touches meant so much to us. She took care of the floral and I got so many compliments on our bouquets.

    Her experience also came through as she was extremely organized and prompt. My wedding day was the best day of my life and I couldn't have done it without her!

    Flawlessly executed our dream wedding and a blast to work with!

    Megan and her team are absolutely incredible! I’m pretty much the most disorganized bride you could ever meet, but Megan never made me feel like the disaster I know I was. Instead, she just plain handled every single detail, all while making me feel like I had it all together. She’s fun, organized, gets sh*t done, and a pleasure to be around. There’s no way our wedding would have been a success without her and her team.

    We hired Megan as both our florist and day of coordinator (best freaking decision ever!). For the floral, I literally gave her a three word description to go off of, “bold and beautiful”. My bridesmaids thought I was a complete whack job for not providing a ton of detail, but let me tell you my flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the best “bold and beautiful” flowers you could ever dream of. Megan 100% captured my vision (even when I wasn’t completely sure what it was), all while staying in a budget that cannot be beat. She’s fantastic and extremely talented.

    As for the day of coordination, I was one of the naive brides who originally thought “I’ll just do everything myself...who needs a coordinator”. Thank goodness I didn’t try that. I cannot stress this enough to brides to be: you CANNOT do it yourself and you absolutely DO NEED MEGAN and her team on your side for your big day. I, like all brides, had some minor hiccups along the way: my car broke down on the side of a mountain on the way to
    Rehearsal, the linens that I supplied were a wrinkled hot mess, etc. etc. But honestly, we were not stressed about anything through the entire weekend because Megan and her crew had our backs the entire time and they crushed it!

    So thank you again, Megan and team (the Heidi’s :), for making sure we got the wedding of our dreams. You guys are rock stars!

    One of my absolute favorite vendors!

    Megan is one of my favorite vendors from my wedding. From the very beginning she was really great at communicating with me openly and giving me straight-forward answers. I got so lucky when I found her and I can't imagine my wedding without her help. She provided the perfect floral accents for my wedding - and all the flowers were fresh and perky, no wilting. She did the bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets, flowers for the archway at the ceremony, flower petals at the entry to the ceremony space, centerpieces for the reception, and flower accents on the wedding cake!
    Not only was she able to affordably provide all the flowers, but we were able to rent wood rounds for the centerpieces at our reception for a super reasonable price! She also was completely understanding and helpful whenever there was a change in plans!
    She made my life so much easier and it was an absolute joy to work with her. I can only hope there are more events in the future where I'll get the opportunity to work with her.

    I found Mrs. Brown on Wedding Wire and I will forever be grateful for that. Megan is absolutely fantastic! She is down to earth and such a joy to work with. You can tell she is doing what she loves! I showed her several pictures from pinterest, gave her my preferences, the color scheme and she TRUELY delivered. My ceremony and reception looked like a dream. When my venue threw a curve ball with my cake table, Megan stepped up and made it look fabulous. I had 11 centerpieces, my bouquet, 7 bridesmaides bouquets, like 12 boutonnieres, 6 corsages, the gazebo piece and extra flowers on my cake table. My bouquet was absolutely stunning as were my bridesmaids'. She did a gazebo piece for the ceremony that was then moved to the sweetheart table for the reception and I could literally not keep myself from staring at it! Color and flower selection on point and SO FRESH! All of my arrangements were perky and gorgeous! NO wilting flowers with Mrs. Brown!! My only regret is only booking her for my flowers when I should have had her as my coordinator as well. She is the only vendor I have zero complaints with. Literally nothing but praise. I 100% recommend her. (I only have a few pictures to share since I haven't gotten my pictures back yet)

    I usually don't like to rely on others, I like to make sure things are perfect myself! I entrusted Megan to coordinate day of for my wedding, and she sure delivered. I was relaxed the day of my wedding because I knew she wouldn't let me down. She sure delivered and then some! She set up floral she created, set up some greenery and decor we already had, did our arch floral, all bouquets, boutonnieres, and total event set up as well as busing and serving. The day was perfect, and a large part of it was thanks to her! The guest raved about how beautiful everything was. I will definitely recommend her!

    Megan and her team were a valuable asset at my wedding. They arrived on time, and jumped right in and started to get things in order under chaotic conditions. They calmed the storm immediately. Our dinner and cake service went off without a hitch, with fast and friendly service. My guests we well taken care of the entire night! They consolidated our food and left the kitchen, dining and buffet area nice and tidy, all while keeping to our timeline. Megan was professional and thorough from the get go, which put me right as ease under the stress of planning my wedding! Her prices are beyond reasonable and great value for the services provided.     if could say 3 words about mrs. browns floral and event specialist, it would be "OH MY GOD"! this woman and her team are AMAZING!!!!! my flowers we perfect! he communication was amazing and the vison i had was spot on! i had to add more centerpieces and more floral decor to my wedding and she did not even bat an eye. it was a "lets do it" attitude idea! (3 days before my wedding i did this to her)

    Her team came and set up with no issue. i actually didn't her about any type of drama that sometimes comes with set up. it was Awsome! no stress.
    after the ceremony they moved my flowers from the arch to the sweetheart table and OMG It was to die for!

    my centerpieces were what i had pictured in my mind!

    I was attending and helping with a friends wedding in May where Mrs.Brown's Floral and event set up the flowers and did the arrangements. Megan and her staff are great. Megan is corresponding throughout the entire process to make sure everything goes smoothly. Her staff set up the tables before even I arrived to help. The set up was beautiful and they were quick when the ceremony was over, to move the flowers indoor before the guests did. I dont know how she kept flowers from wilting in 105 degree mid day Palm Springs wedding, but she did.

    My husband and I will be forever great full for Mrs. Brown and her staff on our wedding day. She took care of everything so that we can enjoy our wedding and not worry about the details. They handled all of the setup, transfer of items and clean up. The best coordination team we could ask for.

    Megan is incredible!! I originally met with her regarding a donation to our local Relay for Life event and I was blown away by her generosity. When it came time to book a florist, she was of course the first person that came to mind! She gave me a detailed quote and was very thorough about everything we were discussing. When she told me she also did rentals, that made things even better! I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the arrangements and choices to make, but Megan gave so many helpful suggestions and I trusted her vision. The day before she informed me she had some leftover petals and asked if I wanted to use them, which I truly appreciated! She really made the whole situation so easy and stress free! The flowers came out beautifully and I am so happy with everything she did for us. Thank you Megan!!!

    Megan and her team are Fantastic! Very fun, exciting to be around and a true pleasure to work with. I have worked with Megan and her team on a few different weddings and as a wedding photographer, she truly makes my job easy in the work she does. She helps design and plan weddings with ease and it shows she has a passion for what she does.     Megan went above and beyond my expectations for my daughters wedding, when my daughter had questions Megan was always there to help.     Megan was great!! We used her for our rustic wedding. We wanted to do a ton of babies breath with some daisies here and there and she was great with that. We met twice before the wedding to go over details and she was flexible with meeting in a central location. Her pricing was awesome and she worked great with meeting my budget. When I needed to add on some items she did that no problem. On the day of, she was on time and delivered everything plus more. She had extra daisies and babies breath so she left them for us to use. Overall, I would highly recommend her.

    Megan was very professional in handling our wedding coordination and floral decorations. She covered all the details in leading up to our day and assisted in booking services that we needed.     Megan Brown and her assistant Stephanie were more than helpful on our wedding day. We were put into contact with her through a family friend and met for a consultation. By the end of our first meeting my now husband and I knew she was the one for us. Megan was full of ideas on how to bring our wants to life. But wait, it gets better. Our wedding planner was a no show on the day of our wedding! Megan and Stephanie stepped up to the plate for us and coordinated our day at the last minute. Our wedding day would have been a disaster with out them both!!

    Megan is such a great person. From start to finish, Megan was there for me every step of the way.     Megan did our florals and bouquets and they were amazing! We had a very specific vision and she executed it beyond our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests on the centerpieces and bouquets.. Days later the flowers are still fresh and beautiful.     We made the right choice with Megan Brown and her team!

    We had our dream wedding over month ago and having Megan Brown as our florist and day of coordinator was the right choice! Her floral designs was spot on with how we envisioned it! I'm so in love with my bouquet until this day, I had it preserved to make it imperishable! It embodies our vision of elegance and simplicity. In every wedding there will always be mishaps, we understand, however, Megan and Heidi went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our special day without catching sight of anything that didn't go as planned.     Disappointing day of coordination and floral

    Team was great in the planning process. Unfortunately, day of coordination was disappointing. Also hired for floral (personal only not decor) and paid an outrageous amount for the flowers I received. I ended up paying $600 for my modest bouquet alone. Was told I was paying a premium for peonies and ranunculus but the bouquet had a handful of these flowers only.

    FYI- megan told me her cost was 5 stems of each of these types for $100 as they were premium flowers and/or rare/off-season. And I happened to find them at the local trader (near venue) goes for around 12 bucks a bunch….previously I found dozen ranunculus at Whole Foods for 9.99…

    Also apparently they were out of the different colors of wax flowers as they weren’t included? Either way, a refund for the insane amount I paid would have been nice. Big bummer on their services.

    When we secured services with you, we received great communication throughout out the planning process. When we arrived for service on the day of, it was NOTHING like we prepared for together. This is when my team and I knew it was going to be a long night.

    You even joked with us and said “everyone knows a good Lauren shit show.”

    No one had any information that was promised and It was quite disappointing. This was a reminder why it’s very important that all of the service details and decor info is relayed to our team at our 3 week out meeting as contracted from our couples.

    Partial Planning Feedback

    My wedding was about a month ago and we hired Megan as our partial planner.

    Positives: Megan was consistently prompt in responding to emails and texts. She’s created an efficient system using Google Drive to house essential vendor contracts and ensure we were aligned on progress and due dates.

    Areas for improvement:
    1. Accountability: Megan tended to shift blame to other vendors in challenging situations, detracting from productive resolutions. For instance, a major logistical error occurred when one of our buses failed to return to the venue after dropping off guests. Megan and her team informed me about the situation with no solution on how to transport the remaining guests to their hotels but shared details about the perceived rudeness of the bus driver. I found myself involved in resolving the issue on my wedding day as they put me on the phone with the driver. This was very frustrating to deal with at the end of my wedding night and with a detailed timeline confirmed in advance.
    2. Consideration: Megan missed opportunities for discretion, discussing concerns unnecessarily with the bride and groom. Throughout the planning phase, there was a reoccurring theme of her expressing complaints about vendors' requests with no ask for us to get involved. And on the wedding day, while the bridal party and I were enjoying our morning getting ready, she highlights issues about the strong winds negatively affecting vendor setup and our table design, causing unnecessary stress for me.
    3. Inattentiveness to details: Despite Megan's claims of familiarity with our venue owner's conditions, a main contractual condition regarding vendor load-out was overlooked. The week of the wedding, Megan mentions all vendors will load out the night of the wedding, and I flagged this as a concern based on the venue contract. As a result, a vendor's timeline changed to load out the morning after the wedding, and Megan charged us an additional $300 for her team to be there. She had also asked if I would be there to assist with this load out the morning after my wedding, which brings me back to point #2. Given Megan's experience at the venue, this oversight should have been anticipated and proactively addressed. There were other instances where my husband and I would have to review vendor contracts ourselves & remind her of certain vendor conditions that needed to be me (eg. shading requirements for band). Also, my husband and I were placed in the wrong seats (seats were switched) after creating a detailed seating chart for the planning team's use.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your honest opinions and reviews for our wedding planning services. We appreciate your time and dedication during the planning process to ensure our team was set up for success on the day of.
    A couple of quick replies below 👇
    1. The Bus return was definitely an unfortunate and unforeseen problem. We both had confirmed with the company directly for the delivery and pick up of the guests to the venue as a requirement. Unfortunately one of the drivers did not return as contracted which lead to the quests at the venue for an additional 28 minutes as they found a replacement driver. Myself and Andrew contacted the company and you did receive a refund since they did not complete their contractual agreement. Our team kept you in the loop as the plan did change for departure and requested to speak with you directly to ensure quality control. Im happy that you were compensated for the lack of professionalism with the transportation company, but this issue is not one resulting in any performance on our end. Our contract clearly states that we are not responsible for any lack of performance for your hired vendors. Our clients book vendors that they trust and we hold them to their agreements on the day of. If an issue arises, then we handle as best we can. That is exactly what we did in this event.

    2. The weather was an issue on the day of which resulted in minor changes to the decor on the tables. We relayed the information to you so that you were aware of the changes. We would hate to have you come out to see the space and not understand or know why items were missing. However, we did set a full table with all the decor items and glassware for the photo/video team to shoot as a whole for your gallery. The empty glasses in the windy conditions pose an issue with breaking rentals and that is an extra fee.

    3. The day after was added at the last minute due to rental services and their load out times. Any staff onsite is a fee for any team. No issues were discussed at the time of booking this addition and we ensured the concrete was cleaned and the venue was in perfect condition so you can get that deposit back- yay!!

    You and Andrew sat at the sweetheart table, 2 seats not to be confused with any other table or seating so this detail was executed as planned.

    Would Not Recommend Unless you do not already have a vision

    Mrs. Brown herself is a nice person and easy to talk to. I thought she really got me at first but turns out we were not on the same page. I had a very clear vision with clear and concise expectations that were not executed in any way on my wedding day. Not one area of the florals were executed to my expectations. Missing main flower from arch arrangements, barrel arrangements, tables, sweet heart table, and cake. Missed the mark on the bridal bouquet (too big after mentioning I wanted it on the smaller side, and it was not cascading). Asked to leave main flower out of bridesmaid bouquets to keep focal point on brides and main flower was in them- yet no where else where they were supposed to be. The documentation of conversations and expectations needed to be MUCH more detailed. If you are looking for someone to fill in the blanks if you are unsure about design, easy going and abstract, then she might be right for you but this was not the case for me.

    Horrible. Please read

    Booked her 8 months advance. Paid her deposit. And paid in full prior to wedding per her request/policy. Had multiple meetings and was clear on what was needed and being paid for. Even had pictures as proofs on a e doc file of what it should look like and signed off. What she quoted me I paid for. The day came and the table she did was fine but the stair case was non existent! She literally took 3 small size balls of hydrangeas and out on staircase. When the staircase was to be full like picture inspo I signed off on. Where was all the money I spent? She even did that and left without me knowing. I make the come back and to “fix it” she didn’t go and get more flowers or even purchase any at nearby flower shops or try. She went into the nieghbor’s yard and stole leaves to add the greenery. It was a quick horribly diy unprofessional job and even with the stolen leaves added wasn’t near anything like the photo, what was discussed or what I paid for. Also she laughed at me when I was upset trying to come one a solution and could care less this was my wedding day I’ll never get back to redo. I wasn’t able to take any of my photos and groom and bride photos on staircase as planned. That was the whole purpose of the venue chosen and purpose of flowers. What I paid for and what I got was so extreme and basically had no flowers at all!!!! As well her work was diy and not experienced looking like a wedding florist in that niche should do. Even if it didn’t come out exact as long as it was close to I’d be ok with but there was NO flowers except 3 small hydrangeas. She didn’t do the job at all and left , then came back and diy leaves from a nieghbor’s lawn. Just unacceptable. Now I need to redo the staircase, rebook a photographer and take my bride and groom photos. I asked for just half back which is fair since the table she did was fine. She said no. I’m going to insert photos here. To show you what was in my file that I signed off on and paid for and the of what she did and left. It’s extreme and crazy unacceptable

    I strongly regret hiring Megan for my wedding.

    I am really disappointed with choosing Megan as a vendor for my wedding. I highly advise people to read my review of Megan before hiring her because I think anyone considering her should know what they are getting – or moreover, what they won’t get.

    I hired Megan for three things: wedding coordination on the day of, florals, and chair rentals for the ceremony. NONE of these three jobs were done correctly. I have outlined some of the big things that went wrong because I hired Megan, though amazingly the listing below is not even comprehensive of all the things that went wrong due to her.

    Wedding Coordinator Role:
    Her attention to detail as a coordinator was horrible. On the day of, she missed executing details we discussed extensively in the weeks leading up to the wedding and my maid of honor had to run around the entire evening fixing things that Megan either did not do or did wrong. These details were noted in documents that she had so all she had to do was follow what was on the piece of paper if she forgot. She placed things in the wrong area, lazily arranged things, or never even put out things that were in the inventory boxes at the reception area. Additionally, pretty much the entire evening she did a bad job facilitating the reception timeline and we got very behind. I had to constantly look at the clock and remember what came next and tell my other vendors to bring the cake out or put dessert out or do the bouquet toss, etc... Whenever I looked around for Megan or her assistant, I could never find either of them. She was either completely missing from the reception area or she was socializing outside despite there being things for her to do inside the reception room. I truly do not know what she did the entire night because it was not coordinating vendors or keeping things organized.

    When I called her the next day to discuss what the heck happened at the wedding she was quick to blame all other vendors for the issues that occurred – even for items that were solely her responsibility and that cannot possibly be blamed on other vendors. She was quick to point the finger away from her and that itself shows how unprofessional and unaccountable she is. Megan does not validate details with vendors and is sloppy. Attention to detail is what brides pay coordinators for. It is clear Megan is a novice with coordination. Megan did not communicate well with vendors throughout the evening to facilitate events or iron out details. She missed coordinating with our caterer and with our serving staff on multiple items. She also told our kitchen staff to cut the cake over an hour before we even planned to serve it and well before we even cut the separate display cake. Cutting the cake that early resulted in a dry cake that was not very enjoyable. Yet again, she pointed the finger at the staff who cut the cake – even though they were following her instructions. Megan’s timing on our wedding was off and out of sequence. Experienced coordinators would not have made this type of mistake or any of the other sloppy mistakes she made throughout the evening. Experienced coordinators know how receptions should flow and they account for things going wrong and build in conservative timeliness so ensure things are executed right. It feels like Megan was focused on checking things off the list rather than getting them done right and getting them done in the right order. That is not what a coordinator should do.

    Rentals of chairs:
    Megan will claim that one of the perks of hiring her as your coordinator is you will have access to a bunch of inventory she has and you can save with her because her inventory is cheaper than other places and you can also save on delivery and set up fees by going with her rentals. This is a joke and people should not be fooled by this sale tactic. In reality, she does not have all the inventory she claims to have and will just rent whatever she does not have from places like Party Plus. Her rates are not cheaper than other places so you might as well go with companies directly. If you get rentals through her that require set up, you are just dividing her time away from her actually coordinating your wedding. She spent a large chunk of reception time absent because she and her assistant were packing up the chair rentals we had used for the ceremony. She does not have other staff that come set it up so you are paying for her to do a worse job coordinating if you get rentals from her as well. She does most stuff herself probably so she can pocket more profit. It means worse quality all around. So people hiring her for coordination, beware what you are signing up for. Aside from getting already low quality coordination, if you bundle services with her, you are paying more only to get less quality.

    THE BIGGEST ISSUE WITH OUR CHAIR RENTALS THROUGH MEGAN: We did NOT get the chairs we requested. I have pictures of what she “sold” to us and we did not get that same chair on the day of. When I complained the next day that we were upset we did not get what we paid for, she insisted we did. When I reminded her what we actually ordered through her and referenced our numerous emails, she then made it apparent that she rented from Party Plus and that if I wanted to take the issue up with them that I could but that it was not her problem. Again, no accountability. She argues you get what you paid for and when you insist you didn’t then she just passes the buck. We were not able to recoup any of the money we paid for the chairs, which I think is ridiculous. You should be able to get what you paid for and what was agreed upon. But that is not the case since we hired Megan.

    Florals:
    The florals were a nightmare with Megan. Her prices aren’t really very competitive and her quality is so subpar that you are better off spending the extra money with a more experienced and professional florist. The “savings” you get with Megan are not worth the reduced quality and appearance. From the moment the bouquets for me and my bridesmaids arrived at the wedding they were dingy, wilted, and brown. They should have been near perfect upon arrival and then slowly degraded throughout the day but that was certainly not the case. They were so bad for two of my bridesmaids that you can even tell in the pictures even at a distance. Megan also says she will provide one thing and then provides something completely different on the day of. The arch florals were FAR FAR smaller than she stated they would be when she was pitching me her services. I certainly don’t like being baited and switched. When I brought up the size discrepancy, she passed over it and said I got a larger arrangement than expected. I don’t understand that defense since I have the emails to prove what size she claimed they would be and I have the wedding pictures to prove what size I actually got. Another issue we had with Megan was that we paid for corsages and boutonnieres for the parents and grandparents. Some of the corsages and boutonnieres were never even delivered to our parents and grandparents. Since Megan was our florist and our coordinator, those items certainly should have made it to our family members. She also baited and switched me on the corsages since she claimed they would be made up of certain flowers and even provided a picture of what they would look like. Of the corsages we even got, they looked nothing like what we had agreed upon and were made up of one measly flower. She pretty much slapped a single small flower on a ribbon and called it a corsage and overcharged me for it. When I brought up this issue with her, she did not even acknowledge that the delivered corsages did not look like the ones in the picture she provided in her quote materials and she certainly did not take responsibility for never delivering my father’s boutonniere or my grandmothers’ corsage.

    Megan is 3 for 3 for not taking accountability for herself and the low quality of her services. I approached Megan with a listing of issues that went wrong and tried to talk them through calmly to arrive at a solution. I think it is fair to expect some sort of refund for incorrect chairs and poorly executed florals and/or florals that we never even received from her but paid for. Megan stated her contracts do not allow for any sort of refunds. She uses this excuse to get out of providing any kind of partial refund – even when the circumstance should permit (e.g. her providing services that are far from what was agreed upon). I recommend going through more accountable and responsible vendors so you can ensure quality of service and professionalism/accountability.

    Despite all of the things that went wrong because of Megan, my wedding was incredible – but that is only due to massive planning on my part, my mom’s part, and much assistance from my maid of honor working behind the scenes the entire evening to ensure things were as perfect as possible and fixing Megan’s mistakes and oversights.

    In my opinion, if you want a vendor that will be reliable, it is not Megan. If you want a vendor that will do the job right and well, it is not Megan. Please do your homework when reviewing vendors and ensure you have someone who will be professional. I missed signs from Megan’s web page and from interview calls with her that I wish I had noticed earlier. She came off well in the phone interview I had with her when vetting vendors but afterwards she was very scattered on calls and emails once I hired her and often couldn’t keep which wedding she was working on straight. She needs to improve her organization and definitely needs to improve her coordination and floral skills. She far oversold her abilities in her interviews and via her webpage. Beware!

    I hope brides looking for someone to do a great job coordinating their wedding day or providing florals or rentals avoid Megan since they can really only be disappointed. Good luck ladies with the search! Your wedding will be wonderful!

    On February 13, 2019, My company (Mrs. Brown’s Floral & Event Specialist) was hired to perform wedding related services on the wedding day of September 14, 2019 for Alyssa and Austin Nelson ( The Client). Prior to us performing services for any wedding day there are certain requirements that the client must complete so that we may be best prepared. There are two documents that are due to us two weeks in advance of the event date via email, text, however the client sees fit and sharing. The 1st document is the inventory list. This is a layout of all of the items that the client is going to be providing for us, the coordination staff, to set up on the day of. This is in my formal contract so all the clients know what is expected of them in advance. These details were not finalized two weeks in advance of the event date. We had the client still making updates the day before the event date. When we arrived on site half of the items that were supposed to be provided were not. The 2nd document with information that we require our clients to share, is all of the contract and contact information for each of their hired vendors. We have to have this contract information so that we can become familiar with the services that the client is expecting on the day of. This document was also not finalized until the day before. We were unable to have the proper information given to us to confirm details that we were supposed to manage on the day of. This document will show the items that were supposed to be provided for set up and details that were not relayed as contracted. Due to The fact that we didn’t have all the details we needed from each vendor, my Assistant and I arrived an hour and a half early of to the wedding location to review details with each of vendors directly as they arrived for service because the Client failed to relay the appropriate service details with us. The Client's failure to perform and produce the proper documentation as contracted for the wedding day was a little bit challenging however, we were still able to execute the days services as we were contracted to do. This client paid us by the hour to be on site and managing the rehearsal the day prior for an hour and event day from 11 AM to 10 PM. Myself and an additional assistant were there on the day of during that time performing as contracted. I made notes in blue regarding each set back/issue that we experienced with either, one of the hired vendors or the wedding venue and when events happened as planned. We were at site from 9:30 AM, because we needed to personally meet each vendor to confirm details since the Client failed to provide necessary details as contracted. The Groom met us at the beach location at 9:30 AM, he can vouch for our arrival time. Pre Ceremony hours 9:30 Am- 11:00Am. Our contractual start time was 11:00 am. We did not leave until 11:48 PM due to a mixup with my personal items being taken to the hotel from the wedding venue with the Client. For the post event overtime, You may confirm this timeframe with the Mother of the Groom, She was the one who went to the hotel, retrieved my items and returned them to the venue while we continued to work. This additional overtime that was spent onsite was 1 hour and 48 minutes. My company facilitated the rentals from Party Plus rental company. The client was aware of the facilitation and whom we were getting the rentals from. We rented a vehicle ( $204.31) , picked up the chairs, delivered them 168 miles round-trip , set up the chairs on the sand , took down the chairs , re-packed the chairs into the rental truck, returned them to the rental company as a courtesy to respect this clients budget. These astronomical savings was valued at $960.95. If we deduct the time onsite for Coordination to avoid double billing, the amount due would be $910.95 for rental service fees in addition to the actual rental charge for the items. The client expressed their concern with the pad color of the chair the day after the event when Austin called me. This specific rental company does not carry tan, what the client described,only ivory. What my client claims they provided, is not even an option in their inventory. My company did not charge any service fees ($910.95) for facilitating these rentals as a courtesy to this Client. My company handled the floral design for this wedding. Upon our arrival we went to the condo to meet Alyssa directly. We delivered all of the personal flowers including bouquets and boutonnieres to this location as directed by the client. She wanted the floral in the condo to hand out and take photos before the ceremony. All of the items were accounted for upon delivery, the client said that she was pleased with the designs, we left them in the entryway of the condo and return to the reception for set up. All the bouquets were left in vases with fresh cold water provided by my company to ensure freshness. The corsages were in boxes and the client was instructed to place them in the refrigerator until photos. At no time that we were in the condo delivering floral, gathering decor they forgot to leave at reception prior to our arrival as agreed, did the client express any concerns regarding the floral. The delivery fee to the condo was waived to respect the Client's budget. The weather for this day was 86° and over 50% humidity. When the client left the condo for photos at approximately 1:45 PM, the Floral was out of water for hours until the ceremony time. We transported the vases with fresh water from the Condo to the head table where the bridal party was going to be seated at the reception,so they can return the bouquets to water after the ceremony. However, they were not utilized by the client or the bridesmaids. The arch floral exceeded our contractual agreement of 3 feet when designed and measured from end to end. The Client was supposed to provide a vase for the welcome table floral and did not. We are unable to grant a refund for items that were displaced after delivery when Floral was in the Client's possession. When securing clients for floral design services, Common knowledge is shared with the client that Floral out of water will result in wilting. We worked with this client to ensure vases with water was available given the temperament of the floral she selected and the forecasted weather for the day of. The Delivery and set up of reception floral was waived to respect the Client's budget. The day after the wedding we received a phone call from Austin. This was our first dispute correspondence with the Clients regarding their wedding. He expressed his concern regarding the evenings events and how there was a couple items missing ( dress bag and a cake topper). During this conversation,he acknowledged that he was not trying to get a refund for any of the services he just clearly “ I want to know where the disconnect was so I don’t have to and write reviews of how unsatisfactory your service were.” After going over a couple details with him over the phone, he shared that he was going to be enjoying their honeymoon for a week vacation and that they would follow up with me after returning from their honeymoon. This conversation prompted me to go to our online file where the day of timeline was being kept for both parties to access, and write personal notes after the fact along with my assistant while they were fresh and our Minds. This way the Clients knew exactly what happened and had the details to collaborate. We were willing to share every bit of details that we had and what had happened behind the scenes on the day of. I was expecting to hear from them the weekend of September 21 however, we did not get a call or email regarding them checking up with the details. I had my documents already ready to share so whenever they felt the need to reach out I was prepared. On October 19, 2019, over a month later from their wedding day, we received an email from Alyssa with her specific concerns and request for refunds of the services she felt that we did not provide. We went over the details again with her so that she had all of the documentation that she needed to review that we prepared after speaking with Austin. Please see the email and responses. This was the 2nd dispute correspondence with the Client. Since this Client was so unsatisfied, they have went on three separate platforms for my company to tell their story on November 16,2019, 2 months after their wedding date. Yelp, WeddingWire and Thumbtack. Having past clients write honest reviews is something that we strive for, whether it’s good or bad. I responded to all three of these reviews publicly. And this would be the 3rd dispute correspondence with this Client. Since then, Alyssa has returned to these platforms and continued edit her review on November 20 and again on December 11 to share her story. We secured this Client through a lead generating site called Thumbtack. We have been a top rated pro with Thumbtack for over 3 years consecutively. Through this site alone, We been hired over 172 times and have maintained a 4.7 star rating, even with this Clients 1 star review, with 81 reviews from clients. We have been in business since 2006 and have performed services for 1,032 weddings. This is our first issue, ever, with a Client that we have had to deal with. I can honestly say that my company strives for excellence and we take unsatisfied clients extremely seriously. We wish you and Austin happy Adventures on all your future endeavors ❤️

    We paid Megan about $8,000 for full coordination and flowers, and we feel very cheated. We had to find most of our vendors on our own. She did a draft timeline that had multiple typos. Whenever I asked for revisions, she would just make new errors. I finally fixed it myself and sent her the final version weeks before the wedding. She sent the DRAFT to all the vendors. The timeline really didn’t matter since she didn’t follow it anyway. I had to constantly pay attention to time myself throughout the wedding. We even forgot to do the bouquet toss. She gave us very little instruction during the rehearsal. At a key time between cocktail hour and lining up to enter the reception, she was missing, and I eventually found her socializing with her husband, children, and friends (not invited to the wedding!). During the reception, for at least an hour, they were loitering outside the ballroom and interfering with our wedding guests as well as our professional photos. The centerpieces that we discussed months prior to the wedding were terrible-the roses didn’t even fit in the vases. My bridesmaids had to fix them prior to the reception. She did a horrible job with the inventory and details: she placed our unity sand set on its side so that 1/3 of its contents spilled, one of my glass displays is broken, I’m still missing multiple items, she ignored the details that I spent hours writing for the candy table (haphazardly displayed macarons, used the wrong containers for items even though I pre-packed almost all the candy), didn’t even display the photobook that I spent hours making. She left 2 hours early, so we were responsible for packing almost everything up ourselves after the wedding (which was probably good since the little bit she packed was missing, broken, or spilled).
    If you want a coordinator who pays attention to detail, is professional, and does a decent job, Megan is not the one.

    She was rude and very unprofessional. She ordered the wrong flowers and then blamed it on me and the flowers she did show up with were wilting. I will never use this vendor again nor, will I recommend this vendor to anyone!
