Cake looked fantastic!

My cake was so professionally done! I was amazed and everyone at the wedding loved the taste and commented about how it was the best cake they ever tasted. I love Mozzicato!

Our wedding cake was everything I hoped for! It looked gorgeous and was delicious! The almond flavor is to die for! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a bakery with decades of experience in traditional wedding cakes.

This is my favorite bakery in CT! I was so excited that they would deliver over an hour away to our venue on our wedding day. The cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! I worked closely with Gina and Paul who run the family bakery and they were awesome to work with. Very happy bride and guests loved the cake too!

We ordered our wedding cake from Mozzicato's and it was amazing! It was so beautiful and we got a lot of compliments on it! Best part was - it tasted even better than it looked! They are a little pricey - but we thought it was worth it. I would highly recommend using them!

The wedding cake was a part of our wedding package - we had a choice of three places, and picked Mozzicatos. It was very busy - didn't matter when we went in, it was crowded and we had to wait. But that's probably because everything there is so delicious and well worth it. Gina helped us out and she was great - the design came out perfect, but more importantly it was delicious. When we went in to finalize our order, they made us up two additional tastings of the flavors we chose and sent us to the cafe next door for some sambuca and coffee - the perfect afternoon! Everything worked out great and the cake was awesome.

Mozzicato De Pasquale is my husband's favorite bakery so we were both thrilled to be able to order our wedding cake from them. We did checkout a couple of other more "modern" shops, but underneath the fancy designs of the newer places was flavorless cake. Mozzicatos worked with us to combine flavors of cake and filling that met both our taste and sketched out exactly how we wanted our cake to be decorated. Not only did it look beautiful but it tasted AMAZING! We received so, so many compliments about how delicious our cake was--people couldn't believe they were eating a wedding cake that was actually so incredibly delicious!

Not only did we order our cake but we also order an assortment of macaroons to accompany our fruit at the dessert table. Mozzicatos delivered the cake and the cookies making it a really stress-free experience. And for anyone who loves real italian macaroons it doesn't get better than Mozzicato's. Wonderful, easy to work with and beautiful, delicious results. Highly recommend!

We knew the cake would taste fantastic because we were blown away when we sampled the kinds of cake at Mozzicato, but we had no idea how GORGEOUS the cake would come out. It was everything we had imagined and more. This is a true, Italian bakery. When other wedding cake makers told us they couldn't do the fillings we wanted, Mozzicato never said "no" to anything. We had five layers that included red velvet and cream cheese, cannoli with chocolate chips, chocolate and raspberry mousse, and lemon. It was delicious and our guests couldn't get enough. You won't be disappointed!

Mozzicato Bakery provided us with a beautiful and delicious cake. We looked at the sample cakes in their booklet and were able to sample different flavors to create our own special cake.

the presentation the taste of teh cake was awesome they are definately willing ot create what you want for your cake.. the flavors are delicous i couldnt choose just one!!! so i had 2! my grooms family had used this bakery for family events and holidays in the past i see why!!

Took a day or two to actually connect with someone to make the initial appointment. Once contact was made, all things went smoothly. The cake was great and beautiful. They did an awesome job making a beautiful cake!! They were very accomodating to our suggestions and requests. which truly made our wedding cake...uniquely ours!

I got my wedding cake from Mozzicato and was really happy with it. I received many compliments on the flavors and texture of the cake. The design we chose was unique and I was happy with the effort they put into creating the design for us based on a picture I had found on the internet. Great value for the price!

Ordered a chocolate ricotta cake. It was so good! Didn't realized that they messed up on the pattern on one of the tiers until I saw my wedding video. Also, maybe it's average, but the cake was $1000.

Our cake was included in the cost of our reception so it was a great value. The cake was beautiful and tasty. I agree with the other reviewer that the bakery is kind of hectic and the staff is not very friendly.

Cake tasted great, originally said they could do "anything" for a cake but then had us pick from 3-4 designs for the cake, not always professional on the phone (often unavailable and sometimes pushy), slightly over priced

Mozzicato's provided me with a beautiful wedding cake. It was part of a package with my venue ( I had a choice of 3 bakeries and decided on Mozzicatos.) We went for a cake tasting, and they were pretty great. We selected our flavors, and design, fairly painlessly.

My issue with them came when I tried to order an add-on item from the bakery. The woman gave me such a hard time, and made me feel so awful, that I was brought to tears (this was a week before my wedding.) I was made to feel cheap by this person (who was incessantly driving the hard-sell), when I was just trying to add on a little something extra. Luckily, my wedding coordinator stepped in and ended up ordering the item from the Mozzicato's in Plainville - without incident.

So, the cake was lovely, but the service I received there was not. As a bride, most people/vendors are extremely kind and friendly. After all, brides are under a lot of pressure, and usually a lot of stress. This bakery doesn't seem to understand that. Proceed with caution, I'd say. But rest assured that the product will be delicious.

The cake was tasty and beautiful - exactly what we requested. The woman that helped us place the order at the shop was not very friendly. Thing that turned us off the most was that after we had completed our order and were getting ready to pay we found out that they only take cash for wedding cakes! Who carries around that much cash today?? Luckily, we were able to find our bank within 5 miles and with both of us taking out cash from the ATM we were able to pay them in full.

The cake wasn't pretty…the cake did not serve the 175 guests I paid for…the cake fell apart and the reception staff had to supplement, at no cost to me, their own dessert…the owner, upon being made aware of the terrible situation after the wedding, was rude, unprofessional and condescending. A terrible, terrible experience. Please look elsewhere for another bakery. Mozzicato Bakery has lost whatever appeal they had years ago. Sad, really...
