  Above and Beyond!

  Motor City Soul blew me away from the moment I met them. They are INCREDIBLY responsive, helpful, and passionate about what they do. They put me at ease from the moment I met them. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, they were there to answer questions and assure me that our wedding would be a blast-- and boy did they live up to it. We had everyone on the dance floor-- including my 88 year old grandma! Thanks for the incredible night Motor City Soul!!!

  Best wedding band ever!

  I can't believe how lucky I was to have this band perform at my outdoor, July wedding. They hit it out of the park! Everyone was dancing, everyone (!) from the moment they started to perform. The singers would even jump down off of the stage on to the dance floor and interact with the guests. Making everyone smile from ear to ear. The mood was incredibly happy. Motor City Soul is an incredibly talented band. You will be so glad that you chose this band to make your most memorable day the happiest and joy filled with that Motown Groove by booking them!

  Motor City Soul knocked it out of the park!

  We hired Motor City Soul to play at our wedding reception, and they absolutely crushed it!! We were so blown away by how great they sounded and how much fun they were on-stage. The dance floor was grooving all night long, and their music even drew in people who aren't normally big dancers! We were getting rave reviews on the band all night long, and multiple guests told us that they wanted to see them perform live again and were trying to think of events that they could hire them for, haha. Even prior to the wedding day, all the planning and logistical things were handled really smoothly by the band; they were always super friendly and responsive, and they truly cared about considering our preferences and making sure it was a great experience for my partner and I. They also learned three new songs for our "special dances" (first dance, etc.), and they absolutely crushed those! They sounded incredible. Would absolutely recommend Motor City Soul for ANYONE! Don't think twice!

  An amazing band-great energy and talent! Book them now!

  I cannot recommend Motor City Soul enough. We hired them for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. John Morgan was very communicative and helpful during the wedding planning process. The band's energy and their talent brought the house down at my wedding. I saw them at another wedding I attended as a guest and I knew I had to book them when I was preparing for my wedding. They did not disappoint. Truly the highlight of the wedding.

  Wedding Band

  Motor City Soul was the absolute best addition to our wedding reception. They are a phenomenal band that got the crowd of a variety of ages on the dance floor. They were flexible, great to work with and set the tone of the night. I would highly recommend them to anyone and can't wait to see them again soon!

  Singing praise for Motor City Soul

  We cannot “sing” enough praise to Motor City Soul for making our wedding day exactly what we wanted! They kept our dance floor packed all night long, from the very first song they played, we could have continued to dance all night long had our venue allowed it. ;) All of our guests raved about our band, many were from California and the Motown vibe was a HUGE hit! We loved how they interacted with the guests by coming out on the dance floor to perform. Ross and team were incredibly easy to work with and extremely accommodating! I highly recommend Motor City Soul, they will NOT disappoint! Thank you again for making our wedding so perfect!

  terrific experience

  What a wonderful band; one of the highlights of the wedding day. I am a big Motown fan, and these guys are the real deal. Their entire performance--their song selection, attire, instrumentation, style, etc.--is authentic, pleasant to listen, and fun. In addition to the excellent music they brought to our event, they interacted with our guests in an inviting and engaging way. Guests young and old joined the dance floor, and we will cherish those memories dearly.
