Incredible food and amazing service

Anthony and Carmen and the Moriches Catering team are nothing short of amazing! We got married in June 2021 and had to navigate all of the ever changing COVID guidelines - Anthony made that easy. He was able to guide us to the best decisions balancing our budget and my wants in terms of overall aesthetics, working seamlessly with our planner. Their years of experience made you confident there was nothing they couldn't handle. Not only were the logistics a breeze, but the food is incredible. Our guests still talk about how amazing the food was and there was plenty of it. The service team was also incredible. We had someone personally assigned to us to make sure we ate and never had an empty glass. I can't say enough good things about the Moriches Catering team. Trust that you'll be in the best hands on your special day!

Incredible caterers with amazing food!

Hiring Moriches Catering for my wedding was the best choice I made while wedding planning. My friend had used them for her wedding and I was blown away by the food and the service. Anthony and Carmen made sure my day was absolutely perfect. I didn't have to worry about a single thing all day. They helped us every step of the way from selecting a menu, to picking out supplies, to arranging many of our other vendors. Anthony and Carmen went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. They even made me a plate of my favorite meal (which wasn't on our menu). Our guests raved about the amazing food, especially the passed hors d'oeuvres and the marinated skirt steak. Anthony, Carmen, and their entire team are very professional, but also very sincere and down to earth. I would absolutely highly recommend them for anyone looking for a caterer.

Would love to work with Anthony and Carmen again and again!

If I could give Anthony and Carmen 100 stars, I would! They catered my best friend's wedding several years ago and the food was phenomenal. As soon as I got engaged, I contacted Anthony and Carmen and asked them if my date was available. I explained to them that I was working with a very tight budget and that my now husband has a severe dairy allergy. They worked with us every step of the way and made sure that our dream became reality. They even made my husband and I a special dairy free cake! I got so many compliments on the food - people were even saying it was the best food they had at any wedding EVER! If you have the opportunity to work with Anthony and Carmen, take it!! You won't regret it. I hope to continue working with them for any event I may have in the future!

The Most Incredible People Ever

Our expectations were surpassed with flying colors. As a couple on a very tight budget and having no clue what we were doing, Anthony and Carmen helped us every step of the way in so many way is didn’t expect. They are incredible. The day I met them, I knew right away that our wedding day was in the right hands. Being on a tight budget, my fiancé and I decided to do a barbecue without hors d'oeuvres. Anthony had the brilliant idea take the burgers and hot dogs intended for part of the dinner and to create mini sliders and hot dogs to serve during the cocktail hour instead. It was absolutely perfect. We were able to have hors d'oeuvres without any extra expense while also leaving the dinner menu to feel more sophisticated. I cannot tell you how many people tell me they think about the burgers and steak they had at my wedding so often. I recommend Moriches Catering to everyone I can think of now.

Far exceeded my expectations

Anthony and Carmine far exceeded our expectations! They catered my sons first birthday 2 years ago and people still talk about how amazing the food was! The day of my wedding Anthony ensured everything went perfectly not only when it came to catering but also with everything else! Moving forward I would only use Moriches catering for any event!

Rockstars!!!

Anthony, his wife Carmen, and their entire staff are absolutely incredible. I'm forever grateful to them for going above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. From the first day I spoke with Anthony, all of my concerns and anxieties about hosting our wedding at our new home were put at ease. He thought 10 steps ahead of me the entire time, would regularly call/text me to remind of me various to-dos/details that I never would have thought of on my own, and had a solution for every obstacle -- including when the power decided to stop working at our home on our WEDDING DAY. He handled everything with such care, so that I wouldn't have to worry about a thing... and the food, the food was spectacular. My wedding was two months ago, and people are still talking about how delicious the food was. It does not get better than Moriches -- they made sure my wedding was a dream come true.

Best Caterers Ever!

Anthony and Carmen were amazing throughout the entire planning process. In addition to providing the food and alcohol and staff, they also helped coordinate the event by making timelines, coordinating rentals, recommending other vendors, and so much more. The food was INCREDIBLE and everyone loved the appetizers. The staff was super attentive and friendly. They made sure my husband and I actually ate and that we always had a drink in our hands. My wedding would not have been the same without them. I cannot recommend them enough - they are the absolute best!!

Wonderful team

Anthony and Carmen were recommended to us by our venue and we are so glad we listened! From the very first meeting with Anthony, he put our minds at ease and let us know that he was there for us in all aspects of support. He made sure that we got what we needed but didn’t spend unnecessary extra money. Countless questions answered and emails replied to throughout the whole process, always making me feel heard and cared for, I truly believe that our wedding wouldn’t have been as big of a hit as it was without their guidance. Not to mention the food! It was amazing and our guests are still raving about it. The day of Carmen and Tori were so amazing getting everything set up just the way I envisioned and Tori was a huge asset attending to my husband and I, even fighting her way through our guests to make sure we got all of the hors d'oeuvre. They also packed up all of our brought-in decor and games securely so we’d have no trouble picking them up the next day. All in all, deciding to hire Moriches Catering was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Thanks again!!

Don’t Miss Out

My son & fiancé are foodies, so looking for a caterer that would make them happy. Anthony and his team are exceptional. From the start, the tasting, his knowledge of handling outdoor weddings, the continual communication was amazing. When it came down to the day of the wedding, it went off so beautifullly, I didn’t have to worry about the service or the food. They also worked around the tight budget that we had. Amazing Food for Wedding of 180

I really dont know where to begin. Anthony and his team exceeded my expectations in every regard. Our wedding was a month ago and people are still talking about the cocktail hour! We have extremely high standards when it comes to food and to even meet those expectations is a feat. Anthony far exceeded everything. The food wasn't all that Anthony did wonderfully for our wedding. Answering all my calls, helping me with everything along the way, set up and ordering of rentals, just a sounding board for all our questions. He was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Anthony and Carmen of Moriches Caterers! I sent a general interest email inquiry one night around 9:00, and within 20 minutes, I had a response and menu options. This was indicative of Anthony's professionalism and over the top customer service that I received over the course of a 10 month planning for my daughter's wedding. He offered us cost saving suggestions, put us in touch with equally professional vendors and on the wedding day, handled everything from beginning to end allowing all of us to enjoy the party. Our guests raved about the food and service! We look forward to using him again for the future!

Anthony and Carmen are the best! My wedding is May 18th, 2018 but they catered my bridal shower first. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared! We got married in August 2017, had a backyard wedding, and I can't say enough about Anthony and his staff. Anthony was extremely accommodating, helpful in every aspect of planning our event, and his staff was unbelievable, went way above and beyond! The food was fantastic, we did the East End Deluxe BBQ with a raw bar, and the guests could not stop raving about it! He recommended using Stillwater Tents for the tents, tables, and chairs which were just perfect! Thanks Aaron Oh! I had priced out and talked to every catering vendor basically on Long Island . Anthony was the most flexible and considerate person I talked to , I really felt he was trying to help us and stick to our budget . Words cannot express how great Anthony and Carmen were to work with. We got married at a venue where we had to bring everything in and Anthony and Carmen worked with us every step of the way providing recommendations for vendors. They set everything up day of and took everything down which took a lot of work and stress off of us. The food was so delicious - 6 months later and people still talk about how good the food was. The service of Anthony and Carmen and all of their staff was top-notch. They did everything we asked of them and provided honest feedback/recommendations. Anthony even did the walk through of our ceremony rehearsal because our officiant was in the city and only offered to do it the day of the wedding which their was no time for with the first look and photos. If you want as much of a stress free process as you can get, meet with Anthony and Carmen, they were a dream to work with.

Anthony and his team were amazing on our wedding day and I could not recommend them more highly. They were incredibly responsive during our planning and really brought their expertise without making us feel overwhelmed or pressured. We didn't have much experience with wedding planning and Anthony made sure all of our bases were covered (shout out to him making we were all set re: garbage disposal). There were a lot of details that I either had little or no opinion on and Anthony made sure that everything was more than perfect for the day-of. We also switched up our entire schedule on him last minute (we randomly decided to elope, nixed our ceremony and made the whole day a giant reception instead) and he pivoted to our new plan seamlessly. During the wedding weekend Anthony made sure that everything was taken care of, that my then-fiance and I had nothing to worry about and that the entire event went off perfectly. If there was anything that went wrong, I didn't know about it and neither did my guests. He thoughtfully made sure that we had a chance to try all of our appetizers and made sure that we ate throughout the reception. The food was also phenomenal- my guests could not stop talking about how it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.
Anthony and his team are amazing and I could not thank them enough for making our event exactly the way we wanted it to be.

Anthony was incredible to work with from the very first email that he answered! He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire wedding planning process (not just the food aspect) and was really accommodating and easy going when I wanted to be a little more hands-on to save some money on decor etc. We received so many compliments from our guests saying that our wedding was one of the most fun parties they had ever been to—and I know that Anthony was a big part of making that happen. I cannot thank Anthony and Carmen enough for all they did for our wedding. From the moment we first talked with them on the phone over a year ago, we could tell that they really cared about their clients and would invest a lot of time into making sure we got everything we wanted. It was hard for us because we were planning the wedding from a different state, but every time we made a trip to NY they made themselves available to meet in person to make sure everything was going smoothly. The wedding itself was perfect—the food was amazing and I had so many people walk up to me during the reception to comment on how phenomenal everything was (the steak was the biggest hit). Besides the wonderful food, Carmen was there to help coordinate everything and she did an amazing job. She coordinated with all my vendors and I literally had nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. She really made sure that I could just focus on enjoying my day while they handled everything else. The rest of the staff was also wonderful and so professional. I would 100 percent recommend them to anyone who needs a caterer. They really do go above and beyond for their clients and we feel very lucky to have found them!

To say that we are grateful that we found Anthony and hired him as our caterer/coordinator is an understatement. To start, my fiancé and I live in NYC and were planning and paying for everything and were hoping to not hire a wedding planner, as they get expensive. Add in that we chose my Aunt’s backyard as our wedding venue, and things get even more complicated. From our first call with Anthony, which lasted over an hour, we were so excited to have found Moriches catering. He asked about every detail and told us that he also included coordinating services, which is unheard of given his cost (so so so reasonable). At our tasting, he gave me a comprehensive timeline as well as a recommended vendor list, which lead us to hiring some of the best vendors in the area (Tommy’s Tunes, Ali’s Long Island Hair and Makeup). Over the course of the 8 months of planning, Anthony was always available for calls/questions and met with us several times so that he could measure the backyard to get the sizing for the tents and configure a layout for us. He coordinated our rental list from Party Rental , which is a CRAZY list if you are not familiar with offsite wedding requirements, and arranged all of our meetings with them. The week before, I don’t know that I would have had as much confidence in our how party would turn out if I hadn’t been working with Anthony. We met on Friday and went through every detail and all of the moving parts. On top of that, we had a vendor that we weren’t happy with (tent) that he had recommended and took a hit on his bill to compensate for the shortfall, really amazing. All of this doesn’t even encompass how good the food is, everyone was raving about it! We did the raw bar (which he surprised my husband by using a really cool wooden boat to display) and the summer BBQ – the steak is amazing!! We really cannot thank you enough for your hard work and commitment, Anthony. You made all the difference in the world and we are so incredibly grateful!

Anthony and Carmen helped give my daughter a fabulous wedding. Not only did they provide extremely delicious food at a reasonable price, but they also helped coordinate our rentals and made sure everything went smoothly. They went above and beyond to make it a special wedding every step of the way. Anthony wet so far as to stand next to the bride and groom's table to make sure they got a chance to eat, uninterrupted. I can't recommend them enough!

Anthony was heaven sent I knew nothing about planning my son's wedding and he helped me from beginning till the end.
he worked within the budget I had and pointed out things I didn't need that would only be a waste of money. Since I knew nothing about catering I respect him so much for working within my budget and giving me so much. The community house was small and when I first met him he measured it and pointed out that 8 tables would not fit in it. He helped me getting a tent at a discount and with the set up. He went well beyond what other caterers would do. When I was worried about anything all I had to do was call him and he would help me. He had the best food I and my guest ever had at a wedding or any catered event ( even the bride who eats nothing ate everything and raved about it). It has been 2 weeks since the wedding and still everyone is talking about how good the food was. You have to get the steak everyone has said it was the best they ever tasted and we are steak eaters. Anthony is awesome and there are not enough words to say how great not only the food is but how great he is. His staff is so polite, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Someone had packed the cake cutting set I had bought for the bride and groom while cleaning up after decorating for the wedding, so when the cake cutting came they had nothing to cut with thank goodness for Anthony and his staff came to the rescue they had a back up. They really are the best.

Ok first of all, Anthony I'm so sorry it took me a year + 1 day to write this review... But at least you guys know the marriage lasted 1 year! :) :)

Anthony and Carmen were with us every step of our wedding on July 3rd, 2016 in Cutchogue. We had a backyard wedding and we didn't hire a wedding planner so Anthony basically acted as our wedding planner! He helped us figure out which other vendors to use, made recommendations, and even did most of the day-of coordinating. And that's not even getting to the FOOD. The food was SO GOOD. I even got to eat some which was quite thrilling as the bride! :)

All in all, they went so far above and beyond and his prices were still super reasonable even just for the food. If I were doing another big event out on the North Fork, there's no way I would use anyone but them!

I am as picky and detail oriented as they come and Moriches catering exceeded my expectations. The food was phenomenal and the staff was just as impressive. They catered our "I Do BBQ" for 80 people July 1, 2017 and it was amazing. Now, we are even more excited for them to cater our wedding in October!! Anthony and Carmen helped us through the whole wedding process, and were there every step of the way. They even went an extra step to get to know us so that they knew the 'feel' for our event. And they were very accommodating to staying within our budget. We had an amazing event that went off without a hitch and wonderful food that our guests raved about. Look no further, Moriches Catering is the best around! After much research we had a meeting with Anthony and immediately knew we were in good hands. They were able to personalize our event to exactly what we had envisioned which was a classy casual vibe. I am gluten free and my husband is dairy free and Anthony and Carmen worked with our price range and were very flexible with items on the menu. Not only did they cook amazing food, but they set up a beautiful reception room and orchestrated the whole night so it ran smoothly. Six months later we are not only receiving compliments on how great the food was but how personal and professional Anthony, Carmen, and the staff were. Everyone says you don't eat at your own wedding but they made sure we had more than enough food throughout the entire day. Anthony even followed us around with appetizers while we were taking photographs! Wedding planning can be stressful, but if you book Moriches Catering you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that everything will be amazing.

When my fiance and I got engaged, we knew we wanted to get married outside and do something different- catering halls get so tired after awhile! However, we had no idea where to start... Doing an outdoor tented wedding seemed daunting and overwhelming having to bring everything in. Having just got married on September 10th, I can confidently say that hiring Moriches Catering was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Anthony and Carmen are simply the best and know exactly what they are doing.
They were there with us for every step of the way- selecting the menu, picking out rentals (linens, chairs, etc.) and executed our vision perfectly. People are still raving about the food and how amazing the wedding was. We had flank steak, scallops and lemon/herb chicken and everything was just delicious- not your typical "wedding food." Many of my guests commented that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We had a relatively small wedding- 85 people or so, and Anthony worked with us to keep costs down and explore different options within our budget.
Anthony and Carmen take so much pride in their work and truly care about making your wedding day picture perfect. I couldn't imagine accomplishing my dream day without them.
The first time I contacted Anthony and Carmen, inquiring about their services, Anthony talked to me on the phone for 45 minutes- asking questions about me and my fiance, what our vision was and going through various menu options. Other caterers that I spoke to just couldn't be bothered and didn't give the time of day. I would recommend Moriches Catering to anyone on Long Island looking to give their wedding guests a unique and unforgettable experience.
They are the BEST- hands down, no questions asked.

My Husband Brad and I had our wedding September 16th (2016). We had people join us from all over for a small 40person wedding at a house we rented in the Hamptons. The house and the setting were amazing and I honestly couldn't imagine anything making the day better. I came across Moriches Catering online and booked Anthony and Carmen to cater our event several months before hand. In those months Anthony went above and beyond from our first phone conversation to him taking his own time to go and survey the house, making arrangements with myself and other vendors and making our lives and planning as seamless and easy, while still making sure that it was about Us as much as possible. When the big day came Anthony and his crew not only provided exactly what we had asked for but even more. They set up the house for apps and dinner beyond expectations. The entire evening was beautiful and the staff was warm and that just added to the value. The food was phenomenal and all our guests are still raving about everything. As two people who are in the customer service and retail world in Manhattan we sometimes get elevated standards and expectations and when they are exceeded (as they were) I think it is very important to express gratitude and appreciation and to spread the word. Anthony and Carmen THANK YOU for being part of our special day, THANK YOU for you time and effort and for making everything so incredible! We hope to enjoy your work again on our many anniversaries and events to come.

We had our wedding on September 17th. Carmen and Anthony were amazing! After our first meeting with Anthony I felt very confident that he would get the job done and do it as stress free for me as possible. they took care of all my needs and made sure my day was perfect. Their food is amazing and I had a bunch of people coming up to me saying how much they loved the food. The women who did my makeup actually used them for her wedding 2 or 3 years ago and she said people STILL mention how much they loved the food. Our wedding was perfect!

We had our wedding a few weeks ago, August 6th, in the Hamptons. We have nothing but the best things to say. Our guests are still raving about the food, service and how wonderful everything was. We could not be happier. Anthony and Carmen went above and beyond from day one. They helped us to organize the rentals, tent, and gave us recommendations for other vendors (bathroom trailer, sanitation, etc.). The week of, Anthony met with us on location, and we went through every single detail, even things we would have never thought of. The morning of the wedding, they arrived at least 7 hours before our ceremony and the work that they and their team did was amazing. The blank canvas that was our backyard transformed into the most beautiful wedding location, more beautiful than we imagined. They set up everything. I sent them pictures and they setup up all the extras, seating chart, memorial table, sign in board, and most especially all of our centerpieces (which were a pain =/). All my husband and I keep saying is that it exceeded our expectations every time we turned around. I was on the premises the whole day of, and didn't have to do a single thing. Their organization, preparedness and pleasurable attitude is beyond words. While we would never forget our wedding day, we are so happy that instead of looking back and picking at things that went wrong, we can just look back and be so happy that everything went right. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better caterer for our wedding reception. Anthony and Carmen completely exceeded our expectations. Not only were they solid caterers (our guests loved the food), but they helped us to plan and arrange so many other aspects of our wedding and reception, from the tent and dining rentals to laying out lawn games the day of the wedding, and even cueing the musicians to start the processional. They were extremely responsive to our requests, and brought to our attention details that we wouldn't have thought to consider on our own. In 2014, we hired Moriches Catering for our engagement party. They had great reviews and we decided to give them a shot. Because of their great service we felt confident to book them for our wedding in June of 2016. We worked with the owner Anthony. Anthony is amazing! He was on top of everything. He helped us select the perfect menu customized for us within our budget. He held a tasting for our parents and us. He came with us to the rental company to pick out all of our tables, linens, chairs, silverware, etc. He helped us book a tent for our outdoor wedding and made sure all of our vendors were on the same page. He really cares about his clients and went above and beyond for us. Our guests kept telling us all night how delicious the food was. If you want a catering who will put your worries aside and make sure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day hire Moriches Catering.

This review is long overdue!!! I cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for Moriches Catering and most importantly, Anthony, the owner. Anthony was a pleasure to work with! My husband & I, without a doubt, would recommend Moriches Catering and their services to anyone. Anthony's design and presentation for our wedding was absolutely breathtaking. We collaborated and designed a rustic / vineyard feel, outdoor wedding in October of last year, 2015. Anthony was able to arrange for us to have a gorgeous canvas tent with beautiful light fixtures, tasteful table arrangements and gorgeous linens. The layout and design was one of a kind. As for the catering, after we went for the tasting we could not stop bragging about how amazing the food was. At the reception, the appetizers, dinner and desserts were presented beautifully. The flow and professionalism of Anthony and his staff was recognizable. They were constantly communicating with one another and ensuring that everything was in order. The transition from cocktail hour to dinner and lastly desert was perfectly timed. It felt like we were at a catering hall wedding but, in the comfort of our own beautiful backyard. We chose to have dinner set up buffet style and all of our guests were greatly satisfied with the setting that we had arranged. The presentation of the food was beautiful and it was prepared right on sight. Our friends and family would not stop telling us how amazing the food was! We cannot thank Anthony and his staff enough for everything they did to make sure our day was nothing less than perfect! What my husband and I admired the most about Anthony, is his genuine personality. He truly devotes his heart & soul into his business!

When we first met Anthony, we knew without even having to talk about it, that he was the right person to manage our wedding. His calm and assuring demeanor followed him throughout the entire process, setting any fears or worries aside along the way, and always creating or finding a solution to any potential problem. He handled and helped with every piece of planning associated with the wedding, and was always quick with an email or call back when we needed to discuss something.

On our wedding day, he continued to do just that. The vision Anthony had for our wedding turned our backyard into a rustic garden. He hung lights throughout the yard that transformed the property, the lights still remain to this day. His layouts for the tables and the design of our yard brought everyone together and kept them that way. The food was beyond phenomenal. Perfectly cooked skirt steak, crab cakes, shrimp, mussels, and bbq chicken were just a few of the foods people raved about. The cake and ice cream he brought in had adults going back for seconds like they were little kids. The service and staff were in lock step with what the guests needed. Kind, friendly, professional, and just as attentive in the last hour of the party, as they were in the first. Anthony was there every step of the way, making sure that my wife and I had all that we could ask for, before we even had to ask.

There was never a question in our minds about what was important to Moriches Catering. Their genuine care for the event and our happiness was evident throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail gave us a wedding that we could have never imagined, and they have made our choices fairly simple when it comes to planning future events for our family. We have found a caterer for baptisms, and every other event that comes up for our family, and our friends families, and that is Moriches Catering.

My husband and I booked our October 10, 2015 wedding at the secret gem, The George Weir Barn. After we booked our venue, the search for an affordable caterer with a good reputation began. Moriches Caterers was one of the catering companies I emailed, explaining the tight budget we had, since we were paying for our wedding ourselves. Anthony, was the only caterer who emailed me back, not only with a warm and professional response, but with pictures attached from a wedding that he catered at the barn AND a draft invoice of what I suggested in my email of we wanted for our wedding buffet menu! My husband (fiancé at the time) and I were so impressed that Anthony did a wedding at the barn, also that he took the time to create an invoice for us based on my email inquiry. We then set up an appointment to meet with him right away. At our first meeting with Anthony, he explained his services and told us that Moriches Caterers also does day of vendor/event coordinating and they would be our maitre d'. Being that the barn is a free standing venue, we needed someone to be our coordinator the day of. With Anthony's confidence, expertise, and knowledge of our venue, he won our business and we put our deposit down on the spot. On October 10th, when we arrived to the barn after our church ceremony, my husband and I walked into the barn and the back tents, we saw that our dream for our wedding day had came true. Anthony and the staff at Moriches Catering blew us away with the set up. They hit it on the head of what we had envisioned and wanted for our barn wedding! We LOVED it! The cocktail hour display was just gorgeous, the bar display was beautiful, and the entree and dessert display were beautiful! Our guests were raving about the venue, the food, and the service from the Moriches Catering staff. We definitely recommend them! We can't say thank you enough Anthony and Carmen! From the moment we met Anthony and Carmen we knew we had to work with them. They were so flexible and accommodating to our budget, tastes, and even allergies! (They created a gluten free menu for me so I could eat whatever I wanted on my wedding day!) Guests have not been able to stop talking about the food at our wedding. When we have seen people since then they say "oh we had so much fun! The FOOD was delicious!" without fail. We had a "stations" set up, vs a traditional buffet. The one thing that felt tricky was Anthony promised us people wouldn't be waiting in line and they did end up waiting in line--some of them for quite a while. It was frustrating that people were wasting time waiting, instead of eating or dancing. It certainly didn't ruin our day though. That said, the quality of food cannot be topped. You won't be disappointed.

Having Anthony and Carmen cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! From the moment we met Anthony we felt at ease and knew our wedding would come together the way we envisioned. The wedding planning process can become incredibly stressful but after one conversation with Anthony, I was back to feeling like everything was under control-- because it was! They are very knowledgable and think of every last detail. Our venue was a do it yourself venue so Anthony took care of all the rentals and set up for the ceremony location as well! Everything turned out beyond beautiful and the food was AMAZING- I've never had such amazing food at a wedding (our guests can't stop raving about it too!). We truly felt taken care of, Anthony brought us appetizers while we were taking photos and the chef even sent me up a plate of food when I was starving during hair and makeup! As soon as they got there to set up I felt 100% stress free for the rest of the day- as it should be!
I can't recommend Moriches enough, they made our wedding so incredibly special. THANK YOU again Anthony & Carmen!!

Anthony and Carmen were absolutely amazing! We had our wedding at the George Weir Barn, which is a do it yourself venue, and they handled everything for us from rentals to set up and made the wedding planning seem so easy. This really seemed above and beyond for caterers but they did it all anyways! AND the food was delicious! The steak and carrots were especially amazing :) Our guests are still talking about how the food was not anything like traditional "wedding" food and delicious everything was! I don't even know where to begin on how amazing Moriches Caterers are! I guess I should start with the food! Absolute top notch, mouth watering, yummy goodness! So many of our guests raved about their food! I have been to several weddings and I am proud to say that we had by far the best food of any of them!
So besides the food, Anthony's staff was also absolutely incredible! They were so friendly and so kind hearted, not just to me, the bride, but to all of our guests! This group of people totally set the mood for our day which was the best day ever!!
During the planning phase of our wedding, Anthony was there every step of the way. Our wedding was at a private residence so we needed a lot of things that would normally come with a venue. Anthony took care of helping us with all of our rentals. His group set everything up and took it all down for us on the day of. We even asked him just a few weeks before our wedding if he would cater a brunch for us the following morning and he made it work! And again, the breakfast was above and beyond what we imagined with the same great friendly faces!
There are so many wonderful experiences that I could share with you about our time over the past year with Anthony, but the bottom line is that Moriches Caterers are great people with a fantastic business and I would not hesitate to have them cater for us again in the future!

This is a worthwhile read. Where do I begin?! We were searching and searching for a caterer that could accommodate our outdoor DIY Barn venue and to bring elegance to a farm with a fully functional professional kitchen. We wanted to have all the food prepared on site so that our guests meals were fresh and served directly off the grill. We achieved exactly that from Moriches Caterers. Anthony was great from start to finish. He met with us multiple times, accommodated to our schedule, our budget and listened to all our ideas. He also provided us with much guidance and suggestions that would help elevate our vision to make it even more amazing. We knew from day one, that he and his team would help make our dream wedding come true. To our surprise, we weren't dealing with just the food and the menu. We were presented with linens, table settings, decor ideas, tent and rentals, all with the most impeccable taste. He had connections to everything, and it made our wedding planning so much easier. With Anthony, a lot was lifted off our shoulders and we can hear him say now "We'll take care of that". It was so helpful.
November 1st was a very memorable day. A strong storm had come through and lasted throughout the day. The rain, wind and (yes) snow was unbearable. Anthony and his team arrived early to set up and to make sure everything was set and secure. When we walked in for the first time we almost fell to the floor. It was everything we envisioned, it was absolutely beautiful! The storm didn't hold Anthony and his team back. They delivered above and beyond what we ever expected. The guests are still talking about the amazing menu and food! The cranberry walnut salad, homemade soup shots, kobe beef sliders, artisan cheese, meat and bread display, the chef's pasta station with fresh seafood, the skirt steak... and delectable wedding cake. It was perfect! This is a caterer that does more than just serve delicious food. They take care of you, with class.

I don’t want people to think this is a bad review I think of this as constructive criticism and yes I would use them again I would just change some things. Their food is amazing and everything was perfect and I really did love the fact that they were so hands on and would recommend them but I deff would change something’s things
FYI my wedding was hot there was NO AC and it was outdoors his staff performed well under those conditions His food was amazing, people were calling me and asking me for his info so they can use him he really cooks such delicious food and is so hands on.
Anthony & Carmen make an awesome team. I really did not interact with them too much during the day of my wedding but they made it happen. Salt Air Farm where I had my wedding at said they have never had anyone like them there before and would love to work with them again and have never seen such a hands on cater
There were some things that I think the could improve on, I know my family and I know they like to eat I kept telling them that I don’t think we had enough food for the cocktail hour, He insisted that we had enough but he was wrong. We had 6 passed Hors D’Oeuvres, cheese and fruit station along with a raw bar, I wanted to add a few pasta stations just so there were other stations to keep people away from the raw bar long enough so that all of the guests could enjoy it. The entire wedding party was not able to enjoy the raw bar, he did run out BUT he did manage to find some more and bring a plate but it was kind of too late . I just wished he would have listened to me and my mom when we were insisting on that we did not have enough food for the cocktail hour and kept telling us we were crazy, ( he was the cater he does this for a livening )
Another thing that bothered me was we were supposed to have plated salads it was so hot I can see why he did not want to do that but to walk around with Ziploc bags filled with the salad fixing and to stick there hands (they had gloves)

I was married on 10/4 in Quogue, NY. After months of planning a backyard wedding at a private home, the week of the wedding came and the forecast was simply, "100% rain". My heart was broken, and the stress began to set it. Anthony came over to the house right away and sat with us to discuss a plan. After that meeting my fears were gone and I was ready to just focus on getting married. All of the meetings leading up to this one went similarity, I would freak out about some small detail and Anthony would make it all better. We could not have planned this wedding without him, he was trustworthy, honest, caring...the list goes on. If you are are looking for a catering use Moriches Catering, no question.

Our daughter's wedding was on Saturday, 10/4/14. She had found Moriches Catering online and we had a few others that we met with and knew of through friends. I was perfectly happy with either of the first two choices until I met with Anthony. At the very first meeting with him I was amazed. I had never planned an event like this, in a tent, where everything had to be rented and catered. I literally didn't know what I didn't know! Anthony gave us tremendous advise and help, long before we decided to use him for planning/coordinating the wedding too. The second meeting was even better because we got to sample some of the amazing food that he and Carmen prepared for us. Everything was fabulous. The food at the wedding was not only creative but delicious. Friends and family are still talking about it. The appetizers included mini-grilled cheese with tomato basil soup on a small plate and sliders with mini milk shakes. Huge hits! The entrees included chicken, steak and scallops that were truly wonderful. Everything he prepared was perfect! Having spoken with a family that had worked with Anthony for their wedding, I knew the food would be wonderful but hadn't expected the things Anthony, Carmen and their staff did that was truly above and beyond. He thought of things that I never would have to accommodate our guests. They couldn't do enough to keep the event running perfectly. We ended up with soaking rain just as our guests were starting to arrive. Anthony and his staff ended up getting soaked themselves to make sure all of our guests stayed as dry as could be. As I said, he thought of things I never would have. I can't say enough about working with Moriches Catering. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was! It was just a pleasure working with everyone there! Anthony did so much that everything ran seamlessly. But the food was really something! He couldn't have made that day any more wonderful for us and our guests!

Anthony and Carmen of Moriches Caterers are phenomenal!! Their food is amazing and some of the best food I have ever tasted! We had a destination wedding from Florida and was not able to meet Anthony right away. I called and asked questions and since it was my first time getting married, I didn't exactly know all the right questions to ask. Anthony stopped everything he was doing and sat on the phone with me for over an hour telling me to take notes as to what questions I should ask all vendors. He spent all this time with me and had no idea if I was going to hire him or not. He acted like such a father figure to me! I was looking between him and another caterer but because of the personal interest Anthony gave me, I chose him even when the other caterer was a little less money. He was very personable and professional the entire time. My fiance and I flew into NY for a weekend prior to the wedding to meet Anthony and do a food tasting (which he said if I didn't like the food after that then he'd give me full refund on my deposit!). We accidentally booked our tasting on a Sunday on Father's Day and we weren't aware until right before we went. We knew he was a father and said we could reschedule and he said absolutely not! His wife and him cooked the tasting for us and we couldn't stop eating the food! Delicious!!!!!! Wish he lived closer so we could use his catering for all events!! Would highly recommend Moriches Caterers!!! They will go out of their way for you and even drove 30 minutes to the venue to meet with the event coordinator and I just to discuss set up. You won't get anyone better than them! And their pricing was very good for what they do for you. You have to chose Anthony and Carmen! You won't at all be disappointed. They will make your dream come true.

We put together an Engagement Party/Surprise Wedding and Anthony helped make everything on the food end go so smoothly and STRESS-FREE. He though of things before I even did and answered questions before I even asked them. I want to thank him and his staff for the amazing food and service. My husband and I enlisted Anthony and Carmen to help plan our wedding, no small feat considering that we lived on the other side of the country in Seattle! Over the course of the planning, the dynamic duo consistently went above and beyond in their communication, responsiveness, helpfulness, and all around awesomeness. They helped take care of all the details that go into planning a wedding such as lights, flowers, decor, rentals, ceremony timing, etc, and worked with all the vendors to take care of those details so that we didn't have to worry about it too much. On the day off, we didn't worry about those details at all and were able to simply relax and enjoy our wedding with our family and friends.

We also enlisted Moriches Catering to provide catering for several meals over three days including a BBQ lunch, lobsterbake dinner, cheese & snacks, drinks, and late-night sandwiches. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests told us multiple times how delicious it was and much better quality than the food at most weddings.

We would absolutely use Moriches Caterers again for any special events and catering in our lives and don't hesitate to recommend them to others!

While planning our wedding at the Tiana Beach Activity center, I encountered many catering companies who did not want to touch our venue because of it being in a remote location with limitations. So, I went to the venue one afternoon, to take measurements, and coincidentally met Anthony of Moriches Caterers. Though he was busy setting up for a wedding, he took the time to meet and discuss with me, and from that point on I was confident in his ability to make our dream wedding come true. From the tastings, to prompt responses whenever I had a question, Anthony, Carmen and the team at Moriches Caterers made me feel like I was their only client, which couldn't be further from the truth! So with all of this great service, you can add to it.... AMAZING food! Our guests are still complimenting the delicious food at both cocktail hour and the dinner, and even the cake! Anthony was professional and flexible with us, offering the best options and advice for our unique, outdoor wedding.

My husband and I used Moriches Caterers for both our Rehearsal Dinner (09/18/14, 75 people) and a BBQ at our house post wedding (09/20/14, 75 people) in East Hampton. From the start Anthony was very professional and attentive. Anthony provided lots of good suggestions when we were deciding on some of the finer details and was just so easy to work with when it came to planning the smaller details. We had a clambake for the rehearsal dinner and everybody raved about the food. The BBQ was equally delicious. The staff at Moriches Caterers were all very polite and overall just very nice guys. We'd highly recommend using Moriches Caterers for any event. We definitely plan on using their service again in the future.

Anthony and the crew at Moriches Catering made our day perfect. They helped plan our wedding in 4 DAYS. Yes that is right 4 days. They thought of everything. While we had the perfect beach setting, they provided everything. The food was amazing and the staff were incredible. Our guest said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

Anthony and Carmen were amazing from the very beginning! From the food tasting, to picking out table settings, all the way to our big day, they were there for us. Not only did they caterer our wedding, but they were there for the execution of our day. We did not have a wedding planner, so they were a huge help! The food was DELICIOUS! We are still getting compliments on the food, and I am still dreaming of those crab cakes!

Anthony and Carmen at Moriches Caterers are absolutely awesome! They worked with us every step of the way from the moment we reached out to them to the day of the wedding to make sure everything was exactly as we wished. Anthony went above and beyond to help us work within our budget and even provided suggestions when he thought we could save money by ordering some things on our own! We added and changed things throughout the process right up until the very end and he never batted an eye. He was clearly focused on providing exactly what we wanted!

Their crew was incredible on the day of the wedding! The wait staff was perfect; they were there when we needed them and in the background when we didn't. The chefs were awesome! We wanted a backyard BBQ vibe for our wedding where guest could order burgers and dogs as they liked them and they were ready and eager to please! We had a couple of guest with dietary restrictions (gluten allergy). We met with the crew before the event and described what the guests looked like and what their restrictions were. We figured we'd need to show the crew the guests once the event started. Well, that wasn't the case. Phil, who was the man in charge at our event, handled everything without needing to ask us anything at all! With that kind of service you can understand why we had no worries throughout the night. Because of Moriches Catering we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding thoroughly!

Long story short, these guys know what they're doing and they execute to a T! I can't recommend them highly enough!

Ever since we started the wedding planning process we kept expecting things to get extremely stressful. People would ask us, "how are you holding up? You must be so stressed out!" but our answer was always: "we're fine. It's all good." This is because Anthony and Carmen not only provided extremely delicious food at a very reasonable price but also coordinated all of our rentals and made sure everything fit nicely with the venue and had solutions to even the most impossible seeming problems. They went above and beyond to make the wedding special for us and were with us every step of the way. The wedding turned out even more amazing than we could have expected (and we expected it to be incredible). And, you may not believe me, but we never ever ever felt stressed. We can't recommend Moriches catering enough. They are so professional, with an extremely competent staff, and a really great eye for style and detail. They also know all the vendors in the area and have great recommendations. We loved working with them so much that I'm sitting here writing this review twenty minutes before going to the airport for our honeymoon (my husband will kill me if he sees that I'm doing this instead of getting ready).

We cannot say enough great things about Moriches Caterers! Anthony and Carmen were the ultimate professionals in helping us plan our wedding and guiding us in decisions that made our event spectacular. Anthony is incredibly knowledgable about every facet you will need -- suppliers/vendors, design, event flow, and so much more. We had 160 people at our wedding (held on our property which required extra details) and the food was absolutely delicious, specialty cocktails a hit, and the service the team provided to our guests was impeccable. Moriches Caterers went above and beyond anything we could of imagined. If you want the best for your event, Moriches Caterers is it!

Anthony and Carmen at Moriches Caterers were amazing, our guests loved the food and they went over the top to make our wedding everything we wanted and more. They worked with us through the entire process; they checked in with us and made sure we were on track with the wedding check list they laid out for us. They contacted and coordinated all of our vendors and shopped around to fit our budget. They even kept me calm and at times I just got nervous because it all seemed too easy. After the wedding my husband joked around and asked if we could keep their number so anytime I would freak out and get nervous he could say, "Just call Anthony and Carmen."

They helped us choose all of our rentals and showed us how to save on things and still get the look we wanted. They even added a bunch of surprises in with all sorts of decorations and props in our cocktail hour, food stations and the dessert tables. We knew it would all come together but it really just blew us away how incredible it all looked.

Everything went so fast and all our guests just kept complimenting the amazing food, the service and how well everything was going. Thank you so much for making our day perfect!!

My husband and I had a vision for a rustic, but elegant wedding, which was to be held in a historical society barn where there had never been a wedding before. This barn did not have running water, a bathroom for our guests, or an on-site kitchen. Within our first meeting with Anthony, we had full confidence in his ability to execute our vision successfully given the limitations and our budget. With his 28 years of experience in this field, attention to detail, intuitiveness, and “get-it-done” attitude and work ethic, he put us at ease. Throughout our wedding planning process, Anthony dedicated much time to meeting with us to discuss the plans for our menu, layout of the barn, rentals, etc. and to visiting the site of our wedding on Shelter Island. Anthony always kept our best interest in mind and he was honest. He did all that he could to respect our budget while also providing us with the experience we were hoping for. Anthony was extremely flexible and accommodating, even when I decided only 3 weeks prior the wedding to change the tables we'd use. He met with us to go over our new plan and found a way to make it happen. Every time we left a meeting with him, we felt that we could relax because he had it all under control. The day prior to the wedding, Anthony traveled out to Shelter Island to ensure that all our rentals were delivered. On our wedding day he took total control so that we could enjoy our special day. When we arrived at the barn, we were blown away by the ambiance that Anthony and Carmen had created...it completely exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail enriched the theme and experience of our wedding. The transitions throughout the celebration were seamlessly flawless. All of this comes without even commenting on how stellar the food was! Our guests were RAVING about the food and its presentation. Anthony and Carmen are true specialists when it comes to providing you with the best experience possible and an unforgettable wedding!

It is only a few days before Thanksgiving and I am thankful for Anthony and Carmen of Moriches Catering. I live in Quogue, on the south shore of eastern Long Island. We planned a tented wedding in our backyard for about 200 people. The ceremony was at the beach with the reception only a few minutes away.
Anthony arrived at the beach and served wine and beer to the guests on the deck after the ceremony. Beautiful day with sun and the ocean.
Meanwhile back at the house, Anthony and team set up all the table decor. Hor dourves were served on the deck. Lobster cocktail in the martini glasses were the best. After stuffing ourselves we proceeded to dinner. My wedding guests are still talking about the dinner. Scallops, steak, (just the best) mac and cheese in mini dishes, veggies, salad, tuna, etc. Just amazing.
Being the crazy person that I am my daughter and I created a wedding cake, grooms cake and with the help of friends and the mother of the bride, we also make cookies, cake pops, push pops, cup cakes, etc. While we were dancing and celebrating, Carmen set the whole dessert buffet. She really make us look good.
The night before Anthony had a rehearsal dinner for us. Since we invited all out of town guests, we had about 60-70 guests. Delicious ribs, bbq chicken, baked beans, corn bread and coleslaw. Again, Anthony did everything. There is nothing better than going to your own party and just being a guest.
The day after the wedding, Anthony delivered a plethora of bagels, varied flavors of cream cheese, and coffee. Just what we needed.
I should add that I do have a large kitchen at my home and Anthony did not even use it. Somehow he managed to create all this tasty food from his catering trucks, which I never saw. I really would like to know how he did all of that.
If you are looking for a caterer for your wedding, I would strongly suggest that you consider Moriches Catering. Just let him do everything.

Where do I even begin? From the first time we met Anthony and Carmen, they have been amazing. My wife and I often joked throughout the wedding planning process that we were both learning so much about how to plan a wedding, but we hoped we never had to use that knowledge ever again. We were completely green at the beginning, and had no idea what we were doing. Anthony and Carmen went above and beyond, guiding us through the entire process, helping us make smart decisions about not only the food portion of the evening, but also rentals, timeline, budget, etc. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if we didn't have them around. Anthony was always gracious and willing to answer any and all questions we had. We were trying to stick to a budget and rather than be pushy and try to get us to spend more, he did everything he could to keep us where we felt comfortable.
They were both extremely accommodating to our tastes, too, and we went back and forth with them until we settled on a menu and aesthetic that my wife and I were both thrilled with. Last-minute decision to add shrimp cocktail? No problem. Last-minute instructions to only choose peach and purple colored fruit? Also fine. The food itself was delicious; our guests were raving about the skirt steak all night, as well as the grilled Tuscan chicken and the sides. Our friends and family are all foodies, and everyone was impressed. We heard from more than one person that our wedding cake (a coconut cake with coconut cream filling and buttercream frosting) was the best cake they'd ever had. Thank god we didn't spend twice as much money having a cake delivered from Brooklyn!
In short, the attention to detail was incredible, and for the amount of work that Anthony, Carmen, and their whole crew put into our wedding, it was worth every penny, and probably even more. I'm already planning ahead to when I can have Anthony and Carmen cater a 5-yr anniversary party for us! THANK YOU!

Before our wedding, my wife and I met with quite a few different caterers so that we could pick who we believed would provide the best food, service, and value. Anthony and his team at Moriches Catering was far and away our top pick and we were very happy that they were available for our wedding. From help finding the correct rentals, to working with us around our budget, all the way to set up and break down at the venue, Anthony was responsive, helpful, and efficient. He was always easy to work with and certainly added value above and beyond catering the event.

Since the wedding, I have received numerous compliments on the food and the service. If you are looking at going with Moriches Cateirng, I would recommend the steak as it was raved about by all of our guests. I have already recommended Moriches Catering to friends and family and will happily serve as a reference for them moving forward.

I never review anything online- I just don't have the time- but I had to comment on the caterer for our wedding. Anthony and his staff at Moriches Caterers were absolutely fantastic. Anthony made very helpful suggestions and made the pre-wedding planning process smooth. On the day of the wedding, we were very impressed by the professionalism of all the staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My husband and I received many compliments both at the wedding and in the weeks following regarding the food and service Anthony provided. Overall, I cannot recommend Moriches Caterers highly enough. If you are having a wedding at your home anywhere in the Eastern Long Island area- look no further. Moriches Caterers should be your choice.

We cannot say enough about Moriches Catering. Owners Anthony & Carmen Dagostino put their heart & soul into our wedding and rehearsal dinner. They met us several times to work out the details from; finding a ceremony location, designing decor, assisting with questions & customizing the menu. They held our hand every step of the way making the experience very enjoyable & stress free! I look back thinking about all the fun our family & friends had because of their planning, direction & hard work. I am no stranger to weddings & events having worked as a coordinator, designer and staff chef for event companies in NY & the Hamptons. With that in mind, getting quality food & a beautiful wedding would be almost impossible on our budget if we had not found Anthony and Carmen. They planned a fantastic Lobster Bake as the rehearsal dinner. The Australian guests loved the local & authentic experience. The lobsters where huge, the clams, mussels, chicken, brined corn were delicious. It was the quintessence summer celebration, with adorable yellow & white checked linens & a bounty of sunflowers on the tables it was a magical night. The wedding was more than I had wished for; Anthony created a menu to match our taste. We asked for a casual but sophisticated feel & that’s exactly what we got. Anthony & Carmen adorned the tables with natural colored linens & plates complimenting the wheat & sunflower arrangements. It was tasteful, unique fitting with the outdoor setting. The reception started with a raw bar & hors d oeuvres. Dinner was fantastic! They prepared a delicate green salad, fresh farm vegetables, country ribs, Tuscan chicken & amazing grilled lamb chop with several other accompaniments. It was high quality ingredients prepared at a high level. Anthony recommended the fire pit & smores to end of the evening. The fire brought everyone together. We have many memories of the 2 nights and I will cherish them forever. I am grateful to them for helping create such a special day.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Moriches caterers. They catered my daughters graduation party and far exceeded my expectations. The food was great and the staff was amazing. Everyone commented on how wonderful they were and how attentive they were throughout the party. I wouldn't even think about using a different caterer in the future. They have our business in the future and I would recommend them to everyone!!!

Anthony and Carmen at Moriches Caterers have done a lot of parties that I have attended and everyone has loved the food, so when I needed a caterer for my outdoor wedding reception, they were the first company I thought of to do the job. We had a semi casual/ semi formal reception in our backyard on the North Fork, serving and entertaining about 65 guests. Anthony met with me prior to the event in the tasting room part of his company, which was quite impressive. I ordered the hot buffet with two servers. The food was delivered very professionally as my guests arrived. All the employees were very courteous and the servers were a wonderful help! The food was absolutely delicious! I would recommend the skirt steak and the clams and mussels combo- our guests simply inhaled them!! Overall it was a wonderful event and I really recommend using Moriches Caterers for your next event!

Anthony and Carmen helped give my daughter a fabulous wedding. Not only did they provide extremely delicious food at a reasonable price, but they also helped coordinate our rentals and made sure everything ran smoothly. They went above and beyond to make it a special wedding every step of the way. Anthony went so far as to stand next to the bride and groom's table to make sure they got a chance to eat uninterrupted. I can't recommend them enough.
