Laura and Fireside Catering made our wedding dreams come true! From the stunning venue to the amazing food, I cannot recommend the Estate at Moraine Farm enough. The three distinct spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception is really what sold the venue for me, along with the accommodating rain plan. The stunning teahouse, greenery and lake, along with the delicious wedding food were all the cherry on top! Laura was the best venue coordinator ever and I cannot say enough about how helpful she was while I navigated this process without a wedding planner.

Our guests complimented us non-stop on the beauty of the venue and the quality of the food. Great food was an important aspect of our wedding to me, and I cannot be happier with how everything came out with Fireside Catering.

We had a set budget and having our wedding at Moraine Farm was the best decision in terms of balancing finances and our vision for a gorgeous New England wedding.

I can’t recommend the Estate at Moraine Farm and Fireside Catering enough. They went above and beyond in so many ways, especially when the weather forced a transition to the rain plan. Laura was responsive, honest, and kept us on track throughout the planning process and on the day of. She led her incredible team to set up two ceremonies (inside and outside), an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and then flip the tent space from our ceremony to our reception seamlessly. Despite the weather, our wedding was so beautiful and special, all thanks to the extra work and logistics coordination. The venue was still stunnnnning despite the rain. The cherry on top was the delicious food! Our guests were raving during and for weeks after the wedding about the food, and I hope I can go to another Fireside Catering event just to eat this meal again!

Overall, our experience was everything we could’ve hoped for and more, we can’t thank Laura and her staff enough for going above and beyond to ensure our day was the best it could be.

The Estate at Moraine Farm is one of the most unique, versatile and flawless venues in New England. In a sea of rustic barns, coastal/beachy resorts, and grand historical mansions, it fits a niche I found rare in the northeast. Moraine Farm incorporates woods, gardens, and the serene view, but in a refined, intimate and understated way that was exactly what we needed to be grounded and calm on our day. It’s outdoorsy and elegant without feeling rustic or over-the-top, and the grounds offer the perfect spots for a first look, private vows, and wedding party photos. It is also extremely reasonable price-wise for the caliber of property and service that you receive.

Working with Laura and the Fireside Catering team was truly exceptional. Laura knows the property inside and out and you can tell she loves it. While she sometimes can be busy during the early planning stages, as your wedding approaches, you get her undivided attention, and her immense experience is evident. Laura’s guidance on timing was invaluable—she’ll help you balance your ideal schedule with real-life logistics so everything flows beautifully. Every dish we sampled at the tasting and had at the wedding, from mains to the cornbread (a personal favorite!), was absolutely delicious. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish—including having our personal attendant ready with drinks and hors d’oeuvres the moment we processed up the aisle after the ceremony. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the hors d’oeuvres, meals and the customizable cocktails we chose. The bar service was quick and efficient, and dinner was served at a perfect pace. We couldn’t recommend this venue and the Fireside Catering team more highly—it was the perfect fit for us, and our guests felt it too.

Moraine Farm is a DREAM and we are so thankful we stumbled upon it in our initial search! I seriously wish I could go to a wedding here every year to re-experience the perfection

Where do I even begin! The Estate at Moraine Farm was one of the last venues we visited and it was by far our favorite. The grounds are absolutely stunning and fall under every category. They have the old estate with its beautiful decor, the terrace that looks out over the water, the field with the old tea house, and a stunning garden. Endless photo opportunities! The food from Fireside Catering is absolutely delicious and they have tons of food options. One of the best parts of the venue is the coordinator Laura. She is a ray of sunshine and genuinely kept us from having multiple breakdowns. Laura is very organized and has a wealth of knowledge. She knows the venue very well which made making decisions very easy. Laura made planning our wedding so much easier and we feel so lucky to have had her as our coordinator!! While all Fireside Catering venues are wonderful, the Estate at Moraine Farm is a hidden gem and we couldn't recommend it enough!

I cannot recommend getting married here enough. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous but laura is the best person to work with. Our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was served piping hot and fresh and absolutely delicious! !! The venue is also absolutely stunning eith the most gorgeous water view and gardens. The weather was very touch and go on our day but laura had plans for everything so much so I didn't even notice the switches and was totally uncovered by the weather!!! My family and friends cannot stop talking about how great our wedding was and we owe it all to laura, Fireside Catering and the estate at moraine farm!!!!!

This venue was amazing! Amy is the easiest most fun venue coordinator to work with and so personal. Immediately on meeting her she recalled a friends wedding by name that had happened over 3 years ago. Her attention to detail, knowing each of the vendors we used and making sure that everything we wanted was included was amazing. She’s the best to work with and her staff was so attentive. The whole day we couldn’t believe how friendly and helpful everyone was. The food was incredible and everyone loved everything they ate, cocktails, desserts and of course dinner. We got lucky and had a picturesque day but even visiting in December with the garden not in bloom we could tell it was an amazing place to take pictures and the nature view with the lake are gorgeous. We can’t recommend this place enough, we were so happy to have our wedding here.

We got married at Moraine in May 2021, and we could not have been happier with our venue. The landscape was absolutely gorgeous. The flower garden was a great backdrop for our photos, and the patio overlooking the lake was perfect for the cocktail hour. The tent was beautiful, and the bistro lights and stone floor made it feel very special. People appreciated being able to walk/dance on a solid floor while being outside. Amy, the venue's day of coordinator, was extremely helpful and responsive. Working with her was the highlight of our wedding planning. She worked with our vendors directly to make sure the whole day went off without a hitch. Finally, the food from Fireside Catering (which comes with the venue) was fantastic. Many of our guests came up to us afterwards to tell us that it was the best wedding meal they had every had. Overall, Moraine and Amy took care of everything and made our day extremely stress free (despite COVID uncertainty), but they also managed to make it very special and unique to us. We highly recommend having your wedding at Moraine.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Moraine Farm on 8/11/19. The venue was stunning, the food was excellent, and everything was executed perfectly, thanks to Amy Hudon, our wedding coordinator. She was not only essential on the day of, but helped us significantly throughout the entire planning process. Thanks again for everything!

We keep saying how we feel like we picked the absolute perfect venue. The setting was gorgeous. We even had to go with our rain plan for the ceremony and it felt so intimate under the tent and still felt like we were outdoors. Amy (the venue coordinator) was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. She even communicated with our vendors directly making everything go smoothly. This is the kind of venue where you really don't have to worry about anything come wedding day because they have already thought of everything and you can just sit back and enjoy the day. Highly recommend!!

I absolutely loved my wedding at Moraine Farm. Amy was an absolute dream to work with, and made our wedding day stress free. She did an incredible job of coordinating all our vendors and ensuring that our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. The setting is gorgeous and made an incredible backdrop for our photos. Also, the food was amazing. It gets brought up pretty much everytime we talk to one of our guests. I can't recommend Moraine and Amy highly enough!

Venue was spectacular and service was great. Food absolutely delicious. Amy Hudon was our contact and she was phenomenal; very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Definitely a 10 out of 10 in our book!

We had the BEST wedding at Moraine, all thumbs up!!! Amy couldn't have been more wonderful to work with - so much fun, so sweet, and so open to really bringing our ideas to life! The venue was gorgeous - the views of the lake are amazing, the gardens were perfect for our first look, and the tent looked incredible all lit up. And all of the food was awesome, we got so many compliments! We even had some last minute trickiness around potential weather issues, and Amy and her team were SO on top of it, super flexible working things out, so we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend Amy & co. at Moraine!!

My daughter had her wedding reception at Moraine Farm on October 20th and it was amazing. Working with Amy Hudon and the staff there was wonderful. They took care of everything and we did not have to worry about a thing. The food was delicious and all our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. I don’t know where to begin to describe Amy. After my first daughter got married at Moraine with Amy as the coordinator, we went right back for my second daughters wedding. Amy knows her job so well and delivers on everything. She is all anyone could ask for when it comes to planning a wedding - knowledgeable, professional, responsive, etc etc.
Amy has one particular skill that I want to mention. She has a way of decreasing, and even removing stress. Whenever we had those moments of feeling overwhelmed or worried, we would talk to Amy and within minutes——all was good and we were calm. In my opinion this is Amy’s greatest strength. Another point to stress is that we had many many guests rave about their meal. Very high quality food cooked to perfection. Over the top delicious.

I don’t know where to begin! From Miss to Mrs. this was by far the most amazing venue and the staff surpassed that! I can’t say enough about Amy and her team. No detail was missed! Our wedding day was literally the best day of our lives, other than our daughter being born! Thank you Amy from the bottom of our hearts for making our day the most spectacular.

We had an excellent experience with our early fall wedding at Moraine Farm. Amy H. in particular is an absolute rockstar. We worked with her to plan our wedding for about 1 year. She was professional, responsive, attentive to detail, and delivered on making everything happen perfectly on the big day. We had an Indian ceremony on site with an American style cocktail hour on the patio and reception in the tent. It was a long day with lots of people and lots of details, and Amy made everything happen. She was super flexible and we are so grateful for her help making the day a success. The facilities at Moraine Farm were beautiful. The house is well kept and the patio had a great view over the lake. The sail tent with the floor worked well and the bistro lights looked great. The food was perfectly cooked, even some very picky relatives are still giving us compliments. Everyone we worked with there was super helpful and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter had her wedding at the Estate at Moraine Farm in June, and we couldn’t have been happier with the venue and working with Amy Hudon, the Director of Sales and Events. The venue is beautiful. We had our ceremony on the lawn followed by the reception in the tent. The sail cloth tent is superior; beautiful from the outside and lovely and roomy on the inside. It has a complete wood floor which makes it really nice to not be walking on grass all night. Our night had threatened rain and was cool so the sides had to be down; but it didn’t matter; the party was going strong inside. Moraine put up the marquis at the tent entrance because of the weather, and it actually looked like a pretty addition to the tent. The Estate house serves as the perfect setting for guests arriving and for the cocktail hour; it is rustic and has great space inside and out. The Bride’s room is attractive and comfortable, and did double duty for us as a place for final getting ready touches, and afterwards as a kids’ room with babysitters for the kids in our wedding party. Fireside Catering is the exclusive caterer for Moraine, and the food was excellent. The staff that night was numerous and very attentive to everyone’s needs; they even corralled my daughter and reminded her to eat her dinner when it was served. The linchpin to the entire success of the day and the many months leading up to it was working with Amy Hudon. She was wonderful to work with; responsive, calm, flexible and just a really nice person. We met with her multiple times and she was always willing to meet or email/call with all of the people we had involved in the planning; the bride, mom and (very detailed) dad and our wedding planner as well as our other vendors. We loved working with her, and would absolutely recommend the Estate at Moraine Farm.

We were thrilled to have our wedding at Moraine Farm. We worked with Amy H. over the course of about a year to help plan our big day.

Our wedding was a bit non-traditional as it incorporated both an Indian-style ceremony with an American-style reception. This led to a ton of extra details that had to be managed (e.g., a white horse, multiple areas for music), and Amy handled them all with grace!

Every detail that we had requested was handled by Amy. She helped keep us on time/schedule, and the staff was very attentive to us and the bridal party when we had other things to take care of.

We received a ton of compliments on the food - and we loved it as well!

We were married at Moraine Farm in June 2018 and had the most wonderful day. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. The staff at Moraine and Fireside Catering are extremely professional, organized and polite. Amy Hudon, the director and our wedding day coordinator, was amazing. She helped execute our wedding day in a timely, thoughtful and calm fashion (which involves corraling family members, vendors and managing lots of moving parts!) and was always responsive, personable and kind. Moraine Farm also assigns a specific wedding attendant to the bride and groom on the wedding day (ours was Lord, who was lovely), who made sure we always had a beverage, access to food and even brought over multiple slices of our wedding cake to make sure we tried some. We felt very taken care of, and once the day started, we did not have to worry about a single thing! Thank you Moraine Farm/Amy/Fireside Catering for helping to make our day so special!

My husband and I married at Moraine Farm on July 1st and couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding! Amy and her team were absolutely AMAZING! We were living in Africa for our entire wedding planning process so we only visited Moraine twice, both times in the winter. Amy made us feel confident the whole time - she kept us on schedule, made us feel special, and was on top of details we would never have thought of - this was great with us being so far away. I'm also gluten-free (Celiacs) and they were incredible with making delicious food that accommodated me and other guests with allergies. We had about 180 guests who fit comfortably in the tent and cocktail area. All still RAVE about the food! The venue was gorgeous and the tent is very romantic with the lights. The flowers are great for photos. The guests all stayed in Salem and we had a bus take guests back and forth from the venue. I wouldn't change a single thing!

We had an August wedding at Moraine Farm, and it was absolutely PERFECT. We were a little nervous about an outdoor wedding and a tent for the reception, but it was such an incredibly gorgeous venue, and the sailcloth tent with a full floor (not just a vinyl tent on grass/mud with only a hard floor for dancing) was just beautiful. Cocktail Hour out by the lake on the patio is absolutely breathtaking (though we sadly didn’t get any pictures of the spot!) Having amazing food at our wedding was really important, and Fireside Catering (the exclusive caterer for Moraine Farm) did an absolutely outstanding job, we still have people raving about how good the rib-eye was!! We were so happy with how incredible the venue was, we couldn’t imagine a better choice!

Amy was absolutely fantastic in helping us plan our wedding at Moraine Farm. She made the planning process fun and easy. She took care of details that we would not have considered on our own yet were essential to having the day flow smoothly. Her team was wonderfully helpful on the day itself, and the food was delicious. The natural beauty of the grounds and the lake was incredible, and the tent was spacious and comfortable, allowing all our guests to join in for traditional dancing. We are so glad that we were able to work with Amy, and will forever be grateful to her, Moraine Farm, and Fireside Catering for being part of our special day.

The grounds are phenomal and well kept, and the staff is PHENOMENAL. Amy Hudon brought our vision to life as to what we wanted for our guests and she not only knocked our expectations out of the park to bring it to life but she went above and beyond and made the process completely stress free. Not many brides can say they walked down the aisle without ZERO anxiety! I cannot say enough how wonderful this experience has been and I will ALWAYS recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have their wedding in a truly special and secret place. From the gorgeous back views of Wenham Lake to the lush gardens and beautiful tea house - this is the place to be.
The food - EPIC. Fireside catering has got you covered! You want it? You have it! They allow you to have fun with your own menu with no limits. And the tent is absolutely stunning on the inside and very comfortable!

Our wedding at Moraine Farm was completely wonderful. The venue is the perfect balance of elegant and rustic, and it really feels like you're transported deep into the countryside, even though it's super accessible and easy to get to. Amy was amazing to work with, and her help in working through and managing the millions of details that come up when wedding planning (including details we never would have thought of on our own!) was truly the reason our day was so perfect-- everything flowed seamlessly, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the day. The whole staff was so warm and professional. Also, the food was incredible. I knew it would be good, but I never expected the number of comments from our guests about how it was some of the best food they've ever had! We couldn't be happier with our experience, and I highly recommend Moraine Farm as a place to spend one of the happiest days of your life.

My wedding day was perfect at Moraine Farm. The venue itself is stunning - my guests could not believe how gorgeous the grounds were here.
Maura McCarthy specifically made the day run smoothly, and took all of my ideas and decor and created the most beautiful set up. I could not have made everything look so good if I did it myself. She has an amazing eye for design and event planning.
The food is delicious, the staff is incredible, and the tent having the full floor makes it beautiful and more functional.

WOW. I cannot believe how magical my wedding was and how smoothly it went. Moraine Farm was originally not on my radar because I did not know the North Shore that well. Once we came for a visit, it became clear that this venue had everything we wanted. One of the few places (that we liked) that can very easily accommodate over 200 guests.

I specifically want to mention the professionalism and service Maura McCarthy brings to the table. Working with her was a pleasure and I knew I was in good hands. I had a lot of questions and wanted to make sure my guests had the best experience possible, and Moraine Farm & Maura McCarthy delivered that tenfold.

The venue is gorgeous. Outdoor and elegant without being too rustic and the gardens and lawns are immaculately kept. The gardens bloom in the Spring, Summer and Fall. You can choose from a variety of tents (I recommend upgrading to sailcloth) and Fireside Catering does a fantastic job with the food.

I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. The night went so smoothly it's almost scary. You provide the alcohol (and Kappy's buys back everything that's unopened) which saved us a ton of money, but Moraine still provides top notch bartenders and the insurance.

Above all else, if you want to have your wedding in an unforgettable location with lush lawns and gardens (not to mention some cool history to the place) check out The Estate at Moraine Farm. Your guests will be taken care of, the setting is like a dream and they go out of their way to make sure you are a happy bride.

Maura at Moraine Farm is one of the most helpful, organized, and warm people I worked with throughout my entire wedding planning process. She thought of everything.

We worked with Maura from the start and she gave us advice and guidance during the planning process. Maura was so flexible with the menu, worked with our budget and allowed us to make personal touches to the menu. Maura is certainly type A in a good way.She has a great eye for detail and did a great job walking us threw the days events with a fine tooth comb. Also prompt.

I will say that when we planned our September 6 wedding we were expecting an early fall, outdoor production. Moraine Farm was most scenic and beautiful backdrop to share our day with our family and friends. I certainly did not expect a 90 degree day with thunderstorms, tornado warnings and power outages in the forecast! We had about an hour of severe thunderstorms right as the reception began and the Fireside catering team did not miss a beat despite mother natures attempt to halt the production! I was scared when we were introduced, the lights were out and the storm was at it's peak. I believe the lights had gone out in the tent because a power strip got wet, but they still had power for the band. But Maura and her team kept us calm with assurances that it was okay. Maura let me know someone was coming for the lights and it was fixed quickly-within about 15 minutes! It actually added a nice dramatic effect during our first dance because the only lights were on us. The entire production was perfect despite mother nature's imperfections.The staff did not miss a beat and they all came up to me and apologized for crazy weather, were very complimentary and congratulated us. I work in the industry and I can only imagine the challenges that were faced behind the scenes but we didn't see a thing! The staff was very professional and the food was amazing. We got so many compliments that it was the best food people had ever had a wedding. I would highly recomend this vendor to anyone! You are in great hands.

The venue we chose was being anything we could've imagined! Working with Maura from fireside catering (the premier caterer) was a pleasure. She handled everything with care. She took our vision and made it come to life. Even though it rained, we would never have known it. She set everything up so it still went perfectly! The staff was excellent, grounds were beautiful and the food was absolutely fantastic! We cannot say enough!

I can't rave enough about Moraine Farm and about working with Maura. She made everything easy. If we came up with a problem, she had a solution. Our wedding was simply perfect. I entered the day knowing that she would take care of everything, and the day ran smoothly without any effort from me or my husband.

Every last detail was beautifully handled. Our event planner Maura, was always easy to get a hold of. All of the staff were extremely polite, helpful and responsive to us and our 200+ guests. Food was absolutely amazing! I have NO complaints, and would choose moraine every time!

Moraine Farm was the perfect location for our wedding! From the patio that overlooks Wenham Lake to the beautiful gardens and secluded location, we thought the venue was wonderful. I had both my ceremony and reception at Moraine Farm and couldn't have picked a more perfect spot for a beautiful and rustic outdoor wedding. Everything from the view overlooking the Wenham Lake to the food by Fireside Catering was so perfect and it all made for a perfect day. Maura was so great to work with, she was exceptionally quick to respond to all of my (many) questions and she made the whole process as stress free as possible. I would highly recommend Moraine Farm to anyone getting married who is looking for a beautiful location!

We got married at Moraine Farm in early September. The venue is beautiful at this time of year - the gardens still had flowers and the foliage was still full. Maura McCarthy took over as the venue coordinator halfway through our wedding planning process and she never missed a beat! She was up to speed in no time and was able to take all of our visions and requests and help us figure out how to execute them. She was amazing to work with through the whole wedding process, from being very responsive to all of our questions (I had a lot!) to being able to handle the requests and questions from our parents (who may of had even more!)

It rained very hard 2 nights before our wedding which led to the grass being a little muddy. At the rehearsal the day before the wedding, Maura was able to bring in turf to cover up the muddiest part of the reception tent which was a great.

Fireside Catering is the exclusive caterer for Moraine and the food was AMAZING. We had many guests saying it was the best piece of steak they had ever had, let along at a wedding.

The staff at Moraine was great - a few of the waitresses even came up to me during the wedding to congratulate me as well as tell me how they loved all of the details of our wedding. Fireside also dedicates one staff member to the bride and groom during cocktail hour and dinner which was great so we didn't have to worry about going to the bar or making sure we had something to eat. The whole staff made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish!

Not only is this place beautiful but its picture perfect for summer weddings. I got married on labor day and Amy made sure that everything went off with out a hitch. She especially catered to my new husband and my needs, and went over every little detail to make sure our day was perfect. Her amazing knowledge of wedding planning made planning our ceremony so easy it left me thinking shouldn't this be harder? My husband and i are extremely grateful to Amy and the whole Moraine Farms staff for making our wedding day so extremely perfect, i'd recommend them to just about anyone who was getting married and wanted an outdoor wedding. The site is just off the water with a beautiful view of the ocean, and they have wonderful flowers everywhere which leaves extra decorations to a minimum so that also helped our pockets a lot. Working with Amy was just a wonderful experience and i am so happy that I decided to get married at Moraine Farms!

We got married at Moraine Farm in late June and it was a flawless wedding. We worked with Amy Hudon of Fireside Catering in Salem, MA and she was crucial to ensuring a hassle-free experience.

We started the wedding planning process really really late. We got extremely lucky that a gorgeous venue like Moraine Farm was still available on our wedding date, a mere 60 days before our wedding.

Moraine Farms is an oasis of calm and natural beauty in the North Shore. The grounds, which were designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (who you may know from projects like New York's Central Park and Prospect Park), include several highly photogenic areas to take some great wedding pictures. We had our ceremony in the open outside the tea house, and our cocktail hour, lunch and dancing on the patio overlooking the lake. Our guests still recall how beautiful the venue was as a setting for our wedding. Financially, the venue was a great value for money as well.

Fireside did a great job with the food. The food, of course, was tasty and made from high-quality ingredients. In addition, they were accommodating of dietary restrictions and executed really well on the day of. On the whole, it was really good value for money. Unlike stories I have heard from friends about their wedding caterers, Fireside was flexible with ordering our selection of alcohol for the event. They charged us market prices for the alcohol and allowed us to return unopened bottles, which ended up saving us a lot of money.

Amy Hudon was great to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Although she was technically just our caterer, she handled all aspects of the day-of wedding planning and took a heavy load off our chests. We checked out a few venues and coordinators and thought Amy really stood out for being highly flexible, patient and un-pushy.

The Estate at Moraine Farm was an amazing place to get married! The grounds are absolutely wonderfully kept: Abundant flowers, green grass and a great view of the reservoir. The tea house and the formal garden below make for awesome spots to take pictures. By far, one of the best things about Moraine Farm is Amy Hudon, Fireside catering's director of sales and events, who worked directly with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our wedding!

Having your wedding at Moraine Farm and working with Amy Hudon at Fireside will be the best and easiest decision you make. Amy is an absolute pleasure to work with, and Moraine is absolutely gorgeous. Each and every spot on Moraine is perfectly suited - the garden for pictures, the lawn for the ceremony, the patio for cocktail hours, and the sail tent for the reception. The grounds themselves are spectacular, and Fireside adds a warm touch with the string lights and other decorations. The staff at Moraine are very professional, and so efficient they work like a machine. We got multiple unprompted comments from guests at how accommodating, kind and helpful the staff was. I highly recommend choosing Moraine and Fireside.

I feel as though Moraine is a hidden gem but won't stay that way for long after they're recent partnership with Fireside Catering. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this becomes a premier North Shore wedding location very soon.

Some of the things that really impressed my wife and I included...

-The service: The wedding coordinator for The Estate at Moraine Farm is Amy Hudon and we found her to be extremely friendly, responsive and organized. The partnership between Fireside Catering and Moraine is a new one but we felt we were in very experienced hands with Amy. She walked us through the entire process and was excellent the day of the wedding. The staff did a magnificent job setting up the grounds exactly as we hoped and with preparing and serving our New England clambake reception. The guests are still raving about their experience and the friendliness of the staff.

-The food: Fireside Catering has a well deserved reputation (in our opinion) for excellent food. We were impressed at our tasting but also ate at their restaurant in Groton (Gibbet Hill Grill) before the wedding and loved it. There were numerous menu options and we ended up deciding on the clambake. Our package came with 5 passed appetizers and we must admit we spent a lot of time picking our 5 from their extensive list. Every single one was a crowd pleaser (although the sliders may have been the winner - especially with the kids at our wedding). Many of our guests were native New Englanders and the clambake got glowing reviews from the steamers to the lobsters to the sides and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

-The venue: We would definitely encourage anyone considering The Estate at Moraine Farm for a wedding to do a google search of wedding photographers who've shot weddings there. That should give you a great sense of how beautiful a setting it is for a special occasion. The estate has had some updates even since we booked it last fall and looks very nice inside. Everything is handicap accessible which was important to us. The veranda overlooking Wenham Lake is beautiful and was a perfect spot for our cocktail hour. We had our ceremony on the grounds in front of the tea house and took many pictures there and in the English garden below. The tent that was set up on the lawn was perfect for our guests (we had 133) and decorated just as we wanted it. We had lots of kids at our wedding and the venue is very kid-friendly. Several guests commented to us after the wedding that it had the feel of an upscale backyard garden party and that describes it well.

In summary...Amy and her staff made the day truly unforgettable for us and we would recommend The Estate at Moraine Farm to anyone. Two very happy thumbs up!

Amy at Moraine is a true professional. Her calm and relaxed demeanor paired with her attention detail made her a dream to work with! Between the fields, water, and tent, the grounds created the whimsical experience we were looking for that left our guests raving. Plus the food, did we mention the short rib?! Can't recommend this venue enough.

There are so many great things to say about the Estate at Moraine Farm, where do we even start? We were first struck by the magnificent view and the beautiful grounds, but working with Amy and the staff really helped us create the perfect event. Don't be scared if it takes Amy a few days to get back to you during wedding season, she is busy helping another couple. Her response will meticulously answer every question you have and she is a delight to work with. There is no need to hire a separate wedding planner as she helps with all of the details, organizes your vendors, and creates expert timelines. We also didn't know how helpful it would be to have day of event staff and attendants, who made sure we always had drinks and food. Moraine took care of everything and we could just focus on enjoying time with our guests. The food was incredible and guests raved that it was the best wedding food they have had. We were nervous about potential rain, but Amy kept us calm and we knew that we were in good hands with an alternative rain plan, had we needed one. We loved exploring the beautiful grounds with our photographer and can't wait to see all of the pictures. We had the absolute best experience and this was largely due to the venue and staff at Moraine Farm - we can't recommend them highly enough!

I can't say enough about Moraine Farm and it's amazing staff! Amy helped us through the entire process and made it all come together so seamlessly. We definitely paid to have peace of mind, and I think it was worth every penny. The venue itself was gorgeous and our guests loved the low-key vibe. The food was beyond delicious and we appreciated how even the smallest details were thought of, like garnishes and decor. And as mentioned before, Amy was a great partner. She makes you feel really taken care of and is always there to help with questions or recommendations.

If you are looking for a unique venue that is low fuss but has high impact, you can't go wrong with Moraine Farm!

We got married at Moraine Farm in July of this year (2016) and it was everything we could have hoped for. Amy and her staff made sure everything ran smoothly and the only question we answered all night was "would you like another drink?" Immediately following the ceremony someone was there with drinks for me and my husband. During cocktail hour someone brought us a tray of apps just for us. We truly felt taken care of.

Right before the reception started a large thunderstorm quickly came in and Amy and her team went above and beyond to made sure the tent was secure and our guests were all set. We could not have been happier with how this was handled (admittedly we did not know anything was happening - that is how smoothly it was taken care of).

The food was great (for wedding food) and we got compliments on how beautiful the venue was all night long. We could not have been happier with Moraine Farm- we felt that they were very accommodating and flexible and would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the North Shore.

If you are a person with love for nature and the outdoors, you'll definitely will fall in love with Moraine
Farm. This Venue offers a sailcloth tent with full hardwood floors and bistro lights and no need to chase for a catering company since they have their own. Having one person (Maura Mc Carthy, venue coordinator) that you go for venue management, menu preparation, catering, has made the experience of wedding preparation much easier.

Got married here last weekend. Everything - everything - was above and beyond what was or could be expected. Venue - gorgeous. Set-up - seamless. And the staff - amazing.

Maura is the main POC here and she couldn't be more responsive, more helpful or nicer. The venue is definitely pricy, but you get more than what you pay for. I did not worry about one thing with respect to the wedding day; I knew Maura and her team had everything handled. And I will remember my wedding, and how absolutely happy I was, forever.

Moraine Farm was one of the first venues me and my now husband looked at. We felt there would be no way to make it work due to costs. After looking at numerous other venues, we always went back to Moraine Farm, and how it truly was exactly what we were looking for, and we decided would just need to make it work.

From the start we worked with Amy, who was incredible. Amy is from Fireside Catering, but who unfortunately no longer sells Moraine Farm. (On a side note, because we worked with Amy for well over a year before she was moving on to another facility, she was gracious enough to keep us and Moraine Farm through our wedding day, and we were relieved with that). Since we are out of state, Amy actually met with my brother and sister-in-law to show them the venue. We had numerous phone calls and question lists, and she always answered everything very quickly. Amy was also able to work with us whenever we were in town. Her flexibility for our tasting and planning meeting was well appreciated to save us an extra plane ticket.

The venue is truly beautiful, and the food from Fireside Catering is the best I have ever had compared to any wedding I have ever gone to, and I have been to a lot of weddings! Not only did my husband and I think everything was out-of-this-world delicious and cooked to perfection (every piece of filet mignon was cooked spot on), but I think almost every guest at the wedding also said that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Seriously, this is not an exaggeration. We have since tried to replicate some of our wedding dishes and it does not even compare. I was very picky with how everything was served during the cocktail hour, and in general what kind of look we were going for, and Moraine Farm/Fireside Catering made that happen and didn't push back. They were gracious enough to let us use things that were acquired/left over from other weddings, and that helped us get the look we wanted since the budget was quickly running out.

The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous - plenty of room to roam around, and kids to play games on the lawn. The staff were efficient and friendly, anticipating needs and the setup was perfect.

Amy Hudon, the coordinator, was beyond helpful. She was most professional and friendly. When I was in a panic before the ceremony because our chuppah wasn't standing the way it was planned, and my dress wouldn't hook at the top, she was absolutely cool as a cucumber and somehow got everything fixed. Her assistant coordinator was also immensely helpful, friendly and efficient.

The direction during the ceremony was super clear and all went smoothly. The reception was a blast.

I only marked 4 stars for value because the event ended up being over our budget...but that was partly due to our food selections. Things seemed to add up very quickly.

Great venue, great coordinators, and great staff. Huge and beautiful property, minutes from 128 in Beverly. Great job guys!

The Estate at Moraine Farm was a wonderful venue. Amy was great to work with and organized everything wonderfully. The food (exclusively catered by Fireside Catering) was fantastic. Aside from the standard fare, we also had an ice cream bar, which was a huge hit.

The estate sits far away from the road and is right up against Wenham Lake so it's a very quiet, tranquil location. We lucked out with the flowers because a lot of them bloomed early. It made the garden area behind the tea house a beautiful place to take pictures (it's still lovely without them though).

The only negatives about the venue was that it was a little pricey, people were bitten by mosquitoes (although citronella candles were placed around the tent), and the bridal suite didn't have air conditioning. The positives far outweighed the negatives however, and my wedding was fantastic.

Amy was amazing! They were so helpful with letting us customize the menu, visit the venue multiple times leading up to the day, and give great vendor recommendations. Everything was so on-point and we got a ton of compliments on the venue and the food (and we had a lot of professional chefs in attendance!). The entire day ran so smoothly, I can't recommend enough.

The venue was perfect for the outdoor, rustic setting we wanted. Fireside catering's food and service were outstanding. Wish I could do it all over again!

First off, the Moraine Farm grounds are stunning. The combination of flowering garden, lake views, forested areas, beautiful house, and gorgeous tent is really something. We loved working with Amy. She is incredibly talented and pays attention to all of the details, making wedding planning much easier. I truly don't know how she does it. She did so many little things that surprised me, like reaching out to all of our vendors with the timeline for the day - we thought we would have to do that, but she did it for us! Also, the food by Fireside Catering is delicious - much better than "your typical wedding food." We did a stations-style meal and were really able to showcase our personalities and love for food through our wedding meal. The tent is so beautiful, too! It poured rain on our wedding day and was incredibly hot and humid. Amy and her team did everything they could to execute our wedding without a hitch despite the weather, and we had a blast despite it, as did our guests! We would recommend asking about renting fans for the tent if having a mid-summer wedding - we didn't realize that was an option, and the heat was killer, plus there were a lot of mosquitos. However, that is our only small complaint. This venue is incredible and we definitely recommend it!

Moraine Farm is a little gem nestled on Wenham lake. It's an unexpected place with tons of charm. Perfect if you want a cottage feel with a garden reception. Would be cozy for a small intimate winter wedding.

The grounds are truly spectacular and my guests were completely enchanted with the fairy lit tent. Fireside Catering does all the food service for the venue and the food is incredible - a few guests mentioned the steak was the best piece of meat they'd ever had. Amy is lovely to work with and helped us think of every detail, down to finding a babysitter to watch my ring bearers when they had to hit the hay. Wonderful venue!

We had a fall wedding at Moraine Farm. The setting is absolutely beautiful. You couldn’t ask for a prettier spot for an outdoor fall New England Wedding (luckily the weather cooperated). The food was amazing, everyone raved about it. It really was great (by far the best wedding food I have ever had). The day of our wedding everything went perfect and the staff was great. Everyone says there wedding food is great, but in my experiences, that isn’t always so, but at Moraine it really is. We were also able to provide a lot of our own decorations, which made the day extra special. A hidden benefit that doesn’t seem to get talked about much, is you can provide your own liquor (they have their own bartenders, but you can either use a liquor delivery service or bring your own as we did which saves so much $ and allows whatever you want for selection). The only downsides was it was not cheap. Also, the wedding coordinator changed halfway through our process. We started out with Amy who we absolutely loved. Maura, who came on halfway through, was ok (better in person than on email), but I didn’t get as much of a warm feeling, and a bit more of a business focus with more push back on some things than I would have expected. Also, their invoices are hard to understand, and the pricing structure is complicated. All in all, those things did not affect out day, and everything that mattered really went exceptionally well.

Chose this venue for its well-recommended caterer, beautiful location, and comprehensive package. It felt a bit overpriced and I felt that I needed to be very conscientious and detail-oriented in reviewing the contract and preventing cost creep, but my venue manager was flexible and responsive. I planned the event from across the country, and she was accommodating and helpful in filling in the information I lacked due to being out of state.

The catering was fantastic on the day, and everyone raved about the food. A few small elements of service left it short of impeccable, such as failure to pour wine at dinner in a timely manner and returning to us an entire case of opened -- but completely full -- bottles of wine as a result.

Moraine Farm is stunningly beautiful and I have absolutely no regrets about having my wedding there. It was the perfect venue for us. I loved that we could bring all our own vendors, including caterer and alcohol (I think that might have changed since we signed our contract).

That said, their staff isn't great. Their event contact was very hard to get in touch with after we signed our contract (she was fine before that) - although, oddly enough, she was very responsive to our caterer. Maybe she just doesn't like talking to brides. Also, the venue wasn't clean when we arrived - there was broken glass on the dance floor, for example. Our caterer and day-of coordinator had a lot of cleaning to do. Finally, the on-staff coordinator on the day of our wedding (she didn't introduce herself so I don't know her name) was...unhelpful. I missed this happening, but she basically kicked my family out after the event even though we were still within our rental time. Even worse, she locked up our leftover alcohol and wouldn't let my family take it (to return to the liquor store the next day). A family member had to drive back up there the next day to retrieve it because there was another wedding at Moraine Farm the next day (this was Labor Day weekend) and otherwise that wedding would have consumed our alcohol! Basically, her attitude seemed to be that we were the enemy.

My wedding was perfect anyway. They were very flexible - letting us walk through the venue as we needed to for planning, and letting our caterer come to set up for the event prior to when our contract said the rental window would begin. It's so pretty and the price is right, and I would recommend that someone else get married there, but I would definitely advise the staff to step it up in terms of professionalism.

Note: these are just my opinions. Other couples may have had totally different experiences.

Every inch of The Estate at Moraine Farm is absolutely gorgeous (although keep in mind though many of the photos available are old - the tent has moved so the ceremony location is limited to the lawn). The food at Fireside Catering is wonderful (although certainly expensive), and the personal assistant they assigned us on the day of, Lord, was the BEST.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience with Amy Hudon, our event manager. As the bride, I felt that I needed to be on top of every detail since I didn’t know if I could count on her. For instance, we weren't told that our food options were no longer available in the spring (good thing I called right before printing all the invitations!) Was ultimately even served the wrong veggies as a side dish!!! It would sometimes take weeks to get an reply email back, and the email would likely only answer 1 of my many questions. The 2 other event managers on the day of also did not seem to know the timeline.

Of course, the day still turned out perfectly and the Moraine crew did so much right (we just only notice the things that go wrong!). Note: this is just a personal opinion of one bride.

Moraine Farm is a hidden gem on the North Shore. My husband and I were married this September 2016 on the most beautiful day and we couldn't have asked for a more special venue to get married.
While the venue was beyond perfect, Fireside was not. The food was outstanding and all of our guests agreed. However, our experience with their staff and our "event coordinator" Amy was sub-par. We were far from a picky couple and felt we were very easy going with our planning. But unfortunately we had to become much more organized and on top of everything to pick up where Amy fell short. (It started with her not being able to call me, the bride, the correct name multiple times, including the day of the wedding). Though I had submitted all the forms to make our event go smooth, there was no sense of coordination on the day of the wedding. Thankfully my whole wedding party and family knew the plan so they were able to inform the coordinators when they were guiding people incorrectly. During our ceremony there were multiple complaints from our guests (even the groom) that there were Fireside staff laughing and talking loud close by. When the bar ran out of a part of our special cocktail they asked us (B&G) if they could order more and we said yes. What we didn't know was that they then walked up to the parents of the bride and asked them to pull our their credit card in front of guests at dinner to go buy the items (instead of ordering and billing us later).

Thankfully, the server who was assigned to us (B&G) was AMAZING and made sure we always had food and drinks during picturing taking while cocktail hour was going on.

All in all, Moraine Farm is an amazing venue and not to be overlooked. However, do be aware that with this coordinator at Fireside you will need to be a VERY involved and detailed bride to compensate. Make sure to review ALL documents. Fireside has outstanding food and is well known for that, it's a shame their service was not to par.

Dishonest, Raw ribeye, rude catering coordinator
Fireside is the exclusive caterer for Moraine Farm. I am pretty low maintenance, I planned my wedding in 4 weeks after responding to their posting of a cancellation at this beautiful location. Flexible that way, however it could have been 6 weeks if not for the confusing negotiations. Their pricing scheme lacks transparency. After finalizing the contract, I realized I had been outright lied to about their package pricing. The manager confirmed this only after I presented proof, by e-mail. I wish I had asked for a fully itemized bill before signing. But then, when I did, it was like pulling teeth to get it.
The site coordinator was organized and thorough, but I could have done without the passive- aggressive comments.
On my wedding day, they did a great job of decorating and making everything look nice. (Accept the bar, it was a mess) However, they were pretty hands off when it came to organizing the flow and the other vendors. For example, the ceremony was not set up where I asked. The cocktail hour band was not told when to start playing, leaving a gap of quiet on entrance. We were told their music would be heard from under the tent; it could not- leaving another gap of quiet before dinner while the DJ scrambled to start early to cover it up. My husband spent a good amount of time organizing the band and music instead of enjoying this part of the day. The tables did not reflect those in the floor plan.
DINNER: We were completely done with our entrée and had circled a few tables before my husband's mother was served!! The fish was delicious but the ribeye was WAY undercooked, many guests found it unedible.
Have you ever told a bride you didn't like X about her wedding? The ribeye and the music gaps have both been discussed, post-party. Embarrassing.
Over 6 months later, I look back and still feel they took advantage of us and am unhappy with the neglect I felt on the day.
