The photography team of Moonloop—Jim, Joe, and Justin break new ground and stretch way beyond the imagination when it comes to their craft. Nothing about their pictures is routine or mundane. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
I have worked with this team as colleagues in the wedding industry for some years now, and I’ve seen it all. As a professional ceremony officiant, I work with many great wedding photographers in all the seasons throughout the year. But when it came time for our son’s small fall wedding in Maine held on the point of our family lake house property, I asked them if they would be our photographer on a Wednesday, and they jumped at the chance! EUREKA! HIRED! We were over the ‘moon’ excited! Yes, the pun is intended!
Jim and Justin traveled 8 hours to our spot on the lake and arrived loaded up with all the toys and gadgets that guarantee photographical magic. It was very obvious they were having the time of their lives! Most of the time we didn’t know where they were as they would pop up and catch the most unusual situations and get the most unique images as a result. Oh my gosh! The ideas that they came up with blew us away. They took the newlyweds out on the pontoon boat, got shots of the point from the lake looking at the ceremony space, caught the loons swimming by, and snuck candid shots of moments we would NEVER remember happening in a million years. Their pictures tell a story. They told “our story”.
When you hire Moonloop, expect the unexpected. You will be astonished, and ecstatic with your photos! The experience of being with them is the icing on the cake—I’m just sayin’.

Jim and Justin photographed my sister's wedding in October of 2020, and when it came time to plan our own wedding, my husband and I didn't even think about hiring anyone else! They truly are talented, and will exceed your expectations. Our engagement session with Jim was at Longwood Gardens when masks were still required, and we didn't notice my husband had his mask hanging out of his pocket for a while. It was very obvious in photos, and Jim was able to completely photoshop it out as if it were never there. Flash forward a year and my husband has the worst tan line from the chinstrap of the helmet he wears at work - Jim worked his magic again and completely evened out his complexion. We opted not to hire a videographer for our wedding day, and we don't even regret it because Jim and Justin did an amazing job at capturing our whole wedding day. They get creative when their models aren't, and placed us in poses that they knew would turn out great - even for the whole bridal party. The boys especially had so much fun. Also - I was impressed when I had a wardrobe malfunction (my bustle broke as I was getting up for the father-daughter dance), and Jim saved the day with many safety pins. I continued to dance the rest of the night away. They also captured so many fun photos at the reception, which is typically just the same boring picture of everyone dancing. Our guests had a blast, Jim and Justin definitely encouraged a lot of silliness! They are pricey, but they are so worth every penny. These photographs will last a lifetime. Do yourself a favor and choose Moonloop!!! -

Joe and Jim are fantastic! They brought a very unique and beautiful artistic vision to every shot. They did an amazing job of capturing the beauty of the day while making it look so effortless. They were also very accommodating when we decided to postpone our original 2020 reception to 2021 and still have a backyard ceremony in 2020, luckily now we have two sets of wedding photos from Moonloop! (In addition to beautiful engagement photos too!) I cannot recommend them enough. -

When choosing our photographer, my husband and I had a very specific vision. When we found Moonloop Photography, we were blown away by the work and the price. Our package was such a great value. Jim went above and beyond for us. He drove all the way to Long Island, NY for our engagement shoot. He is the only person I've ever met who did not complain about sitting in traffic on the Belt Parkway. Instead he told us about the amazing sunset pictures he was able to take. He definitely has a passion for photography and you feel that passion when you work with him. He always trying new things and trying to get the best shot. We were lucky enough to have both Jim and Justin for our wedding day. They were AMAZING!! From helping us pin boutonnieres to helping get my veil to sit perfectly. The two of them were so great to work with. We are obsessed with all of our pictures. We quickly shared with all our family and friends and we receive so many compliments. Most importantly, they make you feel comfortable having your picture taken. There's a lot of pictures on a wedding day and these two definitely did not make picture taking feel like a chore. I can not say enough good things about Moonloop Photography and would definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed. -

Jim and Justin were incredible photographers and the gorgeous photos they took really speak for themselves. The prep, the ceremony, the reception, and every detail of our venue - they captured everything gorgeously. They somehow managed to keep us on schedule and keep things flowing so smoothly while also being very laid back and friendly and wrangling our two very big families (not an easy task)! The most difficult part of the experience has been trying to narrow down the huge gallery of gorgeous photos they sent us in to a manageable amount of favorites to share and keep because there are so many. I’d gladly work with them again and recommend them to every bride I know. -

I can't believe they had some of the pictures out already on the second day after wedding. They are such wonderful, stunning and creative work. Joe and Jim are just perfect photographers, not only by enjoying the work they showed to us , but also how nice and kind they approached us through out the day. And they made it stress free! I'm super satisfied and appreciate I could had both of them for my biggest day. I would definitely recommend Joe and Jim to everyone and they enjoy photo work with a lot of passion so everything turned out to be so great! I love all the pictures ! They are very important to us for lifetime.

Wonderful Photographs
Choosing a wedding photographer is a major decision for most couples getting married - it certainly was for us. We were so glad we learned of Moonloop Photography through a friend. After meeting with Justin, we were excited to have finally crossed “find photographer” off our list! His kindness and flexibility to meet with me were deeply appreciated, and his past work spoke for itself. Not only did Justin and Sam take great photos, they were genuinely very helpful throughout the day! Justin came in clutch with a tool to help my mother button up my dress, and was wonderfully sweet when our timeline went out the window. We love our photographs, and will cherish them throughout the years. -

Absolute Best Wedding Photographers!
I am not even sure where to begin... For starters, Moonloop Photography is hands down the absolute best! When our search for a photographer first began over two years ago, we were immediately drawn to Moonloop. Their shooting style was exactly what we were looking for. Prior to booking, we met up with Jim Coarse to talk about what we wanted and were looking for and my now husband and I knew from that moment that we absolutely wanted to book him. We were able to get everything we wanted and more. We were able to work with Jim prior to our wedding by having an Engagement shoot at Longwood Gardens about a year before our wedding and he did not disappoint. Every picture was breathtaking, and he even gave us a little tour of the gardens as we had never been there before! Then comes the wedding day and let me tell you it was absolutely amazing. We had Jim Coarse and Justin Heyes and they immediately took charge and began shooting from the moment we arrived to the venue. They even were prepared for basically every little emergency that arose! They stuck with us up until the reception end and we had so much fun! We even had some amazing shots in the rain! Even more insane, we received all of our photos back at just about 2 weeks!
Every single one has either made us laugh or cry with happiness and I am just in awe with the moments they were able to capture. Our family and friends who have seen a few have all said they are breathtaking photos! I would not hesitate to book Moonloop Photography again for any future needs and I strongly recommend them to anyone else looking for photographers! Not only did we get amazing photos of our wedding, but we have also gained a friend and will absolutely keep in touch with them. I could keep going but to end it quite simply, book Moonloop Photography! -

Joe and Michelle were awesome and so great to work with! They were helpful along the way and helped make sure our pictures turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined! They were helpful throughout the day to help move things along and make sure we were on track with everything, but also make sure we got everything we wanted. Would highly recommend them! -

The Moonloop team could not have done a better job of capturing the magic of our special day so that we could relive it for the rest of our lives. We received pictures from the day quickly - an initial teaser less than 24 hours after the wedding ended and the full set of pictures in only a few weeks. Their team guided us through the process knowledgeably and professionally, starting before the engagement shoot and leading through the day of our wedding. They showed the same type of vision and attention to detail while capturing posed pictures as they did when capturing candids. We've received endless compliments from our friends and family about the quality of photos. We could not recommend them highly enough!

From start to finish, photography sessions were seamlessly integrated into the day’s activities. Joe and Jim were early to everything and were more than prepared to execute what they needed to, then get us on to the next thing. Our pictures were absolutely incredible and we have gotten countless compliments from friends and family. I will go back to Joe and Jim for ANY professional pictures we need taken in the future. You will not regret going with Moonloop!!!!

Chelsea Sent on 03/26/2018Jim and Joe are incredible to work with! Aside from their photos being amazing which goes without saying, they were just all around great to work with. We met with Moonloop and had an engagement photoshoot with them, after we spent the day with them and saw the pictures we knew that whatever the cost to hire them would be totally worth it. We knew instantly that we wanted both Jim and Joe and we knew that no matter what, we would make room in our budget to have them both. Day of, everything was great, they went above and beyond what they needed to do. They told us where to be exactly when, what to do, and they made everything stress free for us. Jim's enthusiasm about an idea he had for a picture was infectious and made it obvious he really wanted to be there and really loved taking photos and that it wasn't just another job for him. Joe's attention to detail although I didn't always understand it at the time made for the most amazing outcome. We are excited to have these special memories captured in a way that we will cherish for a lifetime. Both of these men clearly love what they do and they are very good at it.

My sister in law and her sister used his services for their weddings and every photo (especially his unique formal photos) were amazing and we had to hire him for ours! Jim is not only an amazing photographer, he is friendly and so kind and makes you feel like you’ve known him forever. He is also extremely patient and understanding which is such a relief on a very stressful day! Also, when I had a crazy request (to have pics taken on a Softball field) he jumped into action and made the pic one of my absolute favorites! If you’re looking for unique, personalized, gorgeously captured day photos I suggest you hire Jim!

Kerry Sent on 07/12/2016Book Moonloop NOW for your wedding photos! Joe del Tufo is peerless in his art, and a marvelous guy to work with on any photo shoot. Our wedding photos are breathtakingly beautiful. It poured rain during my ceremony and reception and he managed to make magic out of the weather and the occasion with every shot. Moonloop was our first call when we set our date because, as my now-husband said, "We want photos, we call Joe, because he is simply THE BEST." I've also worked with Jim on other events and he's pretty damn fantastic as well! If you are still reading, good. Now stop and BOOK THESE GUYS IMMEDIATELY!
