I worked with Irfan at Monty’s for my wedding reception and he was AMAZING. He worked with us with everything and gave me the wedding of my dreams. From the decorations to the servers to the small details nobody thinks about. I would do events here over and over and over every time. The only thing I would say is the bartender didn’t know how to make a lot of the drinks that were asked and was asking guests to tip her would I thought wasn’t as professional but all in all I would recommend this venue. -

I had my pre-wedding event at Monty’s earlier this month and want to start by highlighting how elegant and beautiful the venue looked. The space was truly stunning and created a perfect backdrop for our celebration, our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the ambiance. That said, the experience with management on the day of the event was extremely frustrating and stressful.
1. Despite requesting multiple times, I never received a floor plan, which caused chaos and last-minute rearranging right before guests arrived. The manager also promised we could have their lights adjusted to our decorations, but that was also not delivered.
2. I was also assured that specific alcohol bottles were guaranteed as part of our package, but when I arrived, they either only provided one or two half empty bottles or no bottles at all (they ran out under 15 mins). When asked to fix this, management was difficult and dismissive, refusing to take responsibility and claiming it wasn’t in the contract, despite earlier confirmations that these alcohol brands were all "standard" and will be provided without an issue. The manager even showed me a picture of the requested alcohol but that was the ONLY bottle they provided. In addition, some bottles weren’t sealed, and guests noted they tasted off while bartenders were grabbing empty bottles from the trash and going to the back room.
3. The bartenders were arguing with each other most of the night and refused to pour drinks to guests towards the end of the night despite it being an open bar.
After several family members confronted the manager, they agreed to extend the bar and provide some bottles that were promised (only once people were winding down). Overall, my event went well but management did not stand by their word, which made what should have been a smooth event incredibly stressful. Again as a positive, the space was beautiful and we’re excited to see how our photos turn out!

Staff member drinking/drunk while at my venue
On the date of my daughter’s Sweet 16 celebration, which was held at this establishment, an extremely upsetting and unacceptable incident occurred. During the event, two individuals affiliated with the staff behaved inappropriately and disrupted the celebration.
One of the individuals, identified as a dishwasher employed at the venue, was on duty at the time. The other, a friend of his who is also employed there but was off duty that day, chose to remain at the bar area throughout the event. Both individuals began helping themselves to alcoholic beverages from the open bar, which I had paid for specifically for my invited guests. They consumed multiple drinks in front of my family and attendees, despite the fact that one of them was supposed to be working.
As a result of their drinking, both men became intoxicated and began behaving in an inappropriate and disturbing manner. Specifically, they directed unwanted attention toward my underage daughter, who was the guest of honor, and her underage friends. They blew kisses at them and made vulgar remarks in Spanish within earshot of guests. This behavior was not only disrespectful but also highly inappropriate given the ages of those being targeted.
Upon noticing this, I immediately sought out the manager on duty to address the situation. Unfortunately, the damage was already done. The incident caused my daughter to become extremely upset to the point of tears, and it overshadowed what was supposed to be a special and memorable occasion for her.
Since that night, I have attempted to resolve this matter by contacting multiple individuals associated with the establishment, including the person who was in charge on the day of the event. Despite explaining the situation several times, I have received nothing but evasive responses. I was repeatedly told that this was “the first time this has ever happened” and assured that someone would follow up with me. However, no one has ever called me back or taken meaningful action.
Given my experience, I strongly recommend that others avoid booking events at this venue. What makes this situation even more troubling is not only that it occurred, but that management has failed to take any meaningful action afterward. Instead of addressing the misconduct swiftly and directly, I was given vague reassurances, excuses that “this has never happened before,” and repeated promises of a call back that never came. This lack of follow-through demonstrates negligence not just on the night of the incident, but also in the venue’s overall approach to accountability and guest safety.
When families book a venue for a milestone celebration such as a Sweet 16, they do so with the expectation that the establishment will provide a safe, respectful, and well-managed environment. In this case, that expectation was entirely disregarded. The staff’s inappropriate and intoxicated behavior toward underage guests could have led to even more serious consequences, and the venue’s unwillingness to properly address or even acknowledge the severity of the issue highlights a systemic problem in how they manage events and supervise their employees.
For these reasons, I cannot in good conscience recommend this venue to anyone seeking a professional, trustworthy, and safe place to host an important event.

Saad Sent on 03/14/2021Scam, the owner has been avoiding my calls.
The owner is very untrustworthy. I reserved the banquet hall last March for my wedding but due to COVID we couldn't have large gatherings. I asked the owner within two days of reserving the hall if I can get a refund due to government restrictions and at that time he said yes but then after that he stopped taking my calls. When I tried from a different number, he picked up and then quickly hung up after I asked for my refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
